Kate from cross has been so helpful for my business insurance needs! She found out my old policy did not cover a lot of things I needed, and had coverage much too low for my needs. She drove to my business for every signature, and provided a beautiful folder highlighting my specific needs and coverage. I have never received this level of customer service with insurance, ever! All this AND she saved me a bunch of money. Five stars!!

This company provides exceedingly poor customer service and takes actions that puts the property of its clients at risk. After being informed by Cross Insurance that it would telephone me if my payment was not received in time to keep my property insurance policy, it failed to contact me, and my policy was cancelled. The customer service staff also is not knowledgeable about basic insurance clauses and details of the policy, and would provide incorrect information or ignore my questions altogether.
We took out our home insurance when the company was Bardwell, Bowlby & Karam. They were wonderful. Note WERE. I have had dreadful customer service since Cross took over. Last year our policy lapsed and I had to pay up front for a whole year. I did not expect to hear from the insurer again until Christmas. Cross never contacted me to let me know that the payment they had initiated from our account had not covered the full payment and that I needed to pay an additional amount. As a result, in the middle of dealing with the death of my mother I did not pick up on a payment request from the Insurer and our insurance was cancelled. In trying to sort this out Cross, knowing I wanted to get coverage before the weekend, closed up shop half an hour before I had been told they would be closed and I got a sorry the office is closed automated email from the agent. So now I am without insurance YET AGAIN because of this entirely unprofessional and incompetent agency. I cannot encourage you too strongly to go somewhere else for professionalism and customer service.
