I only interacted with the one man, he was very friendly, and I felt like he was accepting of and sweet to my special needs son who had to sit with me. Great price and I am picky about my nails and am very pleased. I recommend and would return.

As a man I have had quite a few experiences getting pedicures. This establishment by far has given me the best pedicure to date. They are always so diligent when it comes to removing calluses. The first time I left their place I almost slipped in the shower because I was not accustomed to have such soft feet. They are A1!

Love their work. I wouldnt go anywhere else thats for sure. Ive actually felt comfortable enough to allow my daughter to get her nails done and with no surprise they turned out amazing as well...

RUN away from this place unless of course you like to be treated rudely in a dirty establishment. An employee there was a loudmouth who thought it was funny to treat a customer rudely, in front of other customers and employees. The place was dirty and doesn’t appear to have had a good cleaning in a long time. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Save your time and money, go somewhere else.

I have received pedicure services twice in 4 weeks. Within a week the polish has disappeared off 1 or 2 toes...disappointed.

Very professional. Very clean. They take infection control serious as far as COVID is concern. They also are not like most places who totally took advantage of the pandemic and raised their prices extremely high. The environment is also calm.

While everyone was professional. This place has gone down hill since change of ownership! The polish I chose clearly wasn’t what he thought looked nice so he chose another to not only have to get a different one because that one was out. I also don’t think a polish change on your feet without a massage or something is worth 15$ just me and magic Mike has a smart mouth! Not worth the time nor money and it wasn’t expensive at all however I like quality and that’s not here!

Was a regular, went today to get my overlay and pedi worst experience ever. Had a appointment for three was there for three hours. Polish was dried out and as soon as I went home got in the shower and dried off my paint was chipped and coming off. Called before they closed to come back tomorrow. If it is corrected Ill change review. But for $75 dollars I feel as though I should had quality and proper service. Also nails are not evenly shaped and they cut them down lower than what I asked for.

The lady was rushing on my nails and every time a nail come off my my real nail hurt and it bleeds and it was $60 I will not be going there again it was a waste of time and money .

I asked for a manicure with dip powder. The man doing my nails did not know what he was doing. He was using the shiny top coat to apply the powder. Another worker came over and when he saw what he was doing the guy took the polish from him and made me move to his station. He had to remove the powder from the three fingers that were already done and start over. He kept asking me about previous shops where I have gotten my nails done and how much they charge me. I asked for a matte top coat and he made such a big deal out of it and kept making comments on it instead of just giving me what I asked for. When I checked out he brought up the matte AGAIN to mention that he was charging me more. My nails look sloppy. The sides of my nails don’t even have the color on them, my cuticles look bad and I had to file the sides of my nails myself when I got home.

They are terrible I told the lady several times that my nail was crocet and she ignored me she had a attitude and was very Aggressive

First Visit was very Pleasant 🙂 Walked in and asked for the dip service on a Monday evening. Sat me down right away. Nice conversation and clean/gentle work. I recommend Steve.

If I could give zero stars thats what theyd get. Twice now I have made an appointment for a pedicure. First time they were almost an hour late. Today I left after 20 minutes. I asked twice if someone was coming and the answer was yes. I dont have 20 minutes to waste, do you? No apology and they are extremely rude....wouldnt even look at me when I was putting on my coat. The nail polish is old and many off brands- I took my own the last time. The salon is very run down and dirty. Will never go back- went there because of convenience.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Im leaving two stars because our first experience was actually wonderful! I took my mother back in January for her birthday for her first dip powder manicure. The nail tech did an amazing job. We made an appointment immediately for her next visit. To her disappointment the nail tech on the next appointment rushed her (on a slow sunday) and there were dents in the middle of each nail, and the surface felt GUMMY. I called immediately to get this fixed. I presumed it may have been the product and retained confidence that the nail tech did the best she could. Long story short, I make an appointment to get them fixed. We arrive and the man at the front desk tried to say that is how they are supposed to look. I tell him this is unacceptable and see that our nail tech is overbooked with two people at the time of our appointment. Customer service is terrible. To the owner...get a receptionist...a nail tech shouldnt be stopping his manicure every time the phone rings

Cut my nails way to short. I asked for a cross design. Wasnt worth it. I dont like the shape of my nails even though he did a good job getting the overlay off. And was gentle. Ill stick to my regular nail salon. Only reason why I went was bc my nail was lifting n my salon I go to was closed.

I have been going to New York Nails for many, many years. Yes, they are very busy, but with good reason. Yes, sometimes they get behind, but for me the positives outweigh the negatives. Take the time to find the tech YOU like. After awhile, you learn who is best at what. If you want a quiet, peaceful experience, maybe this is not the place for you. I have had many laughs, many wonderful conversations both with customers and the staff that I always look forward to going there. It may not be for everyone, but it surely is for me.

DO NOT COME TO THIS NAIL SPA! I should have taken note by the way the receptionist answered the phone and scheduled my appointment. However, my friend gets her nails done here and recommended KENNY. I regret spending my money here. The quality of service I received was so poor I literally could have cried for wasting $40. Kenny is very rough when using the electric nail drills/bits and I’m surprised he didn’t break my nails or cut me. He didn’t even cut my cuticles and I asked for a manicure. His technique is so poor when it comes to painting nails and finishing them with the Electric file. I had to request that he file them evenly because their was so much powder layered on my nails, they did not look natural. He spent the time debating with me that because the powder had sparkles in it that he could not smooth them over with the nail drill. Which is a lie. I told him I’ve had it done before and know this isn’t a job well done. He clearly could tell I was unhappy since he wouldn’t sand them down more so they could looks natural, so he spent the time trying to make conversation with me but at this point he had talked his way out of a tip for poor customer service to begin with and horrible technique. I was very DISAPPOINTED to say the least and would recommend that no one receives service from him as he is lazy and very unprofessional. I went home and fixed my nails myself.

I booked an appointment for today. When I entered the establishment, I was greeted and asked if I had an appointment. After that I was sat down for maybe 5 minutes before I was taken for a full set. I bite my nails so they are very much nubbs and the technician ( I can not remember her name) did an amazing job. I also got my toe nails clipped and Polished. The man who did my toes did an amazing job. I am so pleased with the turn out. I can not wait for my college graduation on Monday 😍💅🏿🎓

I was disappointed. I had had services done in get past with which I was pleased, which was why I made the appointments for my daughter and I here. This time though, not so much. Our appointment was at 1:30. When we entered I was looking around for someone as if I did in fact need help. More than one of the employees made eye contact with me but did not speak to me. Finally, we were both seated and each told our tech what we wanted. My daughters nails turned out great, with the color(s) and design she requested. My tech asked me what color I chose and I told her I definitely wanted #150 and another color but I hadnt picked the second yet. She sat and began to polish (it was gel polish btw). When she got to the fourth nail and none were left for another color I politely stopped her and told her no, I wanted another color. She sighed, heavily. Got the nail sample colors and tossed them at me. I picked a second and then she started to take off the polish she had already out on. I stopped her once again, telling her that I only wanted the second color on one nail. She sighed, again, but continued. As she was finishing with the polish I asked if I could get a simple design/something on the nail polished different than the others. She acknowledged my request but didnt say anything. I saw her grab small polish bottles in random colors and she made a design on both nails, did not ask what I wanted, preferred, or liked. When she finished I looked at them but was rushed to get my hand into the dryer. I dried for 3 min, paid, and left. As my daughter and I walked outside into the sun I looked again at my nails and the design she had made did not include either of the colors of the polish on me, and didnt match at all! I went back into the salon, nicely pointed it out to the receptionist and she waved another tech over. They got the attention of the girl who did mine, she say me down, again, and asked what was wrong. I showed her and said that the colors in the design didnt match. She responded, in a snarky tone, well, u didnt know what u wanted the whole time anyway. I did, but I ether here nor there I did not appreciate the response she gave or the tone used. She had an attitude the entire time and was very ignorant/rude. Now, 2 days later, after paying $50 for my gel polished nails (and a tip) the polish is CHIPPED!!

So this place is hit or miss. Ive gone here on and off due to proximity and Ive had great manicures/pedicures and then Ive had times where I had to return within 12 hrs because three nails had chipped (shellac). It all depends on which technician you get; I wish you could rate each technician rather than the whole place. I would NOT recommend eyebrows here, that backfired for me. Nail wise you could take your chances and be OK.

I shouldve known it wasnt going to go well when they lady cut me while rushing to remove my acrylic but I figured everyone makes mistakes so i chose continue and to do an ombre effect which at the time I wasnt informed that this was considered a pink and white full set which is $15 more than a regular full set (my fault I guess) so all n all I paid $60 for a soak off and full set and not even 15 min after leaving shop to wait at bus stop i noticed 2 diamonds had already fell off.. based off this experience probably wont be back there.

Nice nail salon at fair prices, but for regular manicures they are lacking good polish. It is alot of off-brand polish that chips very easy. Didnt see alot of OPI, essie and China glaze. My manicure chipped within a few days. This would be a good place for gel polish or pedicures, but for regular manicures I may need to go somewhere else.

This was a really bad experience. I asked for acrylics and they sat me down acting as if I asked for a manicure. I kept telling the gentleman that I did NOT need a massage or nails buffed and filed since I was getting acrylics. He kept smiling and nodding assuring me I was getting acrylic nails. He finished up and took out polish. I politely but firmly said NO POLISH - ACRYLICS. He then told me I wanted a full set. I had to pay for a manicure AND a full set. In additional she did a TERRIBLE job and made a mess of my nails and instead of fixing it, just painted over it. Never again.

I went to this nail shop with my mom they r very disrespectful I’m very Unsatisfied with my nails I said I do not like the shape of my nails I ask for coffin shape I got squared then I ask for them to get fixed my nails and he told me no get out because if I don’t like the nails he can I fix for help me not to like again

In town on business was referred here by a local friend ... Made an appointment over the phone asked for the price and confirmed location . I got there and my pedicure was rushed and didnt come with a sugar scrub as told over the phone. My service was a different price then stated over the phone . After a 35 min drive, no parking and ok service its not my favorite !

I love New York nails I been goin here since I was in high school I would call at 2 and set up an appointment for 3:30 the same day and get seen exactly at that time I never had a problem I got so many of my friends to go there that they would do my nails and let me pay in 2 weeks when I got paid !!!

Im dissapointed with the nail work performed at that place( I know it depends on the nail artist as well, but a week later a gel manicure looked as 3 weeks old one...common!...also different day and different experience- the quality of the nail polish-that is the second my question...i did the same color of gel manicure and the regular pedicure before we flew to Mexico and the next day the pedicure color has been changed😲...can anyone feel my disappointment?!...please someone advice a good place if you have an idea...im seriously looking for that.. If I could give this shop a zero I would first of all I went in for a fill, now ok thats easy right well you would think so but I guess not. None of my nails match, in size they are all shaped differently. Only my left thumb is the shape that I wanted😢 The nail polish that I wanted he did not want to put on my nails he didnt like the colors oh well not your hands. Then the polish doesnt cover my whole nail then h was upset cause I asked him to fully remove all of the old polish that was on my nails (cause it was a hot pink and I got light colors. So when I went to go dry my nails cause I was so upset i just wanted to leave, then I kept looking at my nails and the sides of my nails were not painted so he was upset that he had to repaint. But its ok Ill go to my nail tech tomorrow

They are so busy that the customers dont matter. They know more will come. Its very dirty and unhygienic in there. My Appointment wasnt put on the books, this delayed me two hours. Then my nails were done so poorly and instead of fixing them mid way to save time, after completion, someone had to redo them. Instead of discounting me, I had to argue with them and other staff members were making rude comments about me to other customers. I was trying to be reasonable considering that five hours were wasted. If they had been at all apologetic, I wouldnt have minded, but they just move on to the next customer because service doesnt matter. Dont go there.

Ive been going to this nail salon for years and it just gets worst and worst. I will not be going back after having a nail appt with Kenny. He was 20mins late then rushed me. I had a broken nail that I told him was really sore, he didnt listen and was extremely rough. I had to leave and go to Super Nails in the Edgewood Shopping Center where they had more that enough time.

Last time I went to get a fill will be the very last time I will step fiot into New york nails. I came in on a tuesday as a walk in and the said they were busy so I asked them when the next appointmemt was and scheduled one for the next evening. I come 5 minutes early to my 6:30 pm appointment and they sit me in a massage chair to wait for a pedicurist. After40 minutes of waiting and beinv ignored I get up to leave. They stopped me at the door and told me that someone will be with me now. Since they were running so late they were already getting ready to close by that time so they rushed through everything, broke half my nails, the job was unclean unproffessional and the lady was very rude when I simple asked her why I needed to wait that long for my appointment. She afterwards charged me full price including the broken nails which she had broken off and never had put back on.So if you want to go to a cheap place where the employees treat you like garbage and dont care about their proffesion this is where you go.
