J is the best. I’ve been searching for a barber to really go over exactly how I want my hair. He took a good hour on my hair to get it exactly how I wanted it. He even showed me the best ways to style it the way they make it look when you get the haircut (which never worked out for me). It’s not called Brookline Barber shop. The address matched but it’s called “Primo Cuts II.”

I stopped in to Boulevard Barber Shop today for the first time after going to chain stylist places for a few years. I was happy with the results. The owner/barber (Chris) listened to how I said I wanted it cut and then did it. I could tell he took his craft seriously and wasnt just racing to finish mine so he could take the next customer. It was a lot cheaper than the chain places, too. I can be kind of a tough customer about haircuts, but was happy and will go back.Plus, he used hot shaving cream on the back of my neck, did eyebrow trim, etc. - all the stuff a real barber will do for men as part of a haircut that you wont find at those chain styling shops.

Sorry had to change this as it has gone so far down hill its truly a shame I really have no idea how they are still in business now lol really
