I love getting my haircut here. Quality haircuts and very convenient with no appointment necessary. Stop going to chain shops where they overcharge you and don’t as good of a job. I add the cost savings to the tip for the stylist. They deserve it.

I went for a cut and gave specifics of what I wanted (a fade slightly down the side of my head, leaving the top half slightly longer, a little bit off the top half of my combed over longer hair, along with a hard part) instead of listening to what I explained in detail the barber simply heard hard part and said “dont worry I got it” ... well he simply didn’t put any sort of fad in whats so ever and cut the entire top of my hair off to the point where I have hairs sticking up because of a callick which I explained needed to stay long but instead he used the clippers right over it. Needless to say I will not be returning here. The only positive thing I could say about this place is that they have fast service hence the two star rating.

Anthonys & Middle Road Barbershop best atmosphere & barbers in the burgh👍👍👍👍👍 In response to a review stating it is not a place to bring your children I respectfully disagree. I have been getting my hair cut here for nearly 25 years so I have seen my share of young children coming for sometimes their first haircut, and without a doubt there is none better than Emily with children. If you have never been there or been there but dont bring your children try it. I guarantee you wont be disappointed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐‼️

Monica is the absolute best. I have thick curly hair and she figured out how to style and cut it so it looks good. My wife loves my haircuts, so Monica is my go to from now on!

If your looking for a great place to get a haircut this is your place. Been coming here for over 10 years and the service is 2nd to none. Staff is always friendly and atmosphere is great. They also are very supportive of Public Safety and the local volunteer fire department. Moral of the story if your looking for a good haircut this is the place to go.

Anthony’s barber shop is great. I’ve been going there for a few years and have always had an outstanding experience. Everyone that works there is welcoming and friendly as well as talented. Aimee has always cut my hair and does an awesome job. I used to drive to Shadyside and Lawrenceville to get a nice cut until I found Aimee who was close to home and way better than anyone in the city. Additionally, I referred friends to take their children here and they also had a very positive experience. They gave a 9 month old boy a nice haircut and kept him happy during the whole process. Overall, this place is great and I would highly recommend Anthony’s barber shop.

The staff is amazing!!! Always efficient, friendly and professional. Today more than ever it’s about the expierance and level of service a customer receives and Anthony’s is top notch 100% of the time.

Anthony’s was my barber shop for more than twelve years and the only reason I don’t return every 2-3 weeks today is that we now live in Florida, some 1,000 miles away. Anthony’s is the all-American neighborhood barbershop; that quintessential cornerstone of community. After only a visit or two, you become one of the regulars and you’re dropped right into the conversation of the day — whatever it is that’s going on in the world at the time. It’s always hard to leave that conversation behind! Just leave it up to your hair to remind you to return. Before we moved, I made a couple very tough trips to Anthonys to say goodbye to everyone there; especially Emily, who’d cut my hair for nearly a decade. Everyone at Anthonys knows everyone in my family. All three of my kids got their hair cut — from the very first time — at Anthony’s. Saying goodbye to Anthony’s was like moving away from an old friend and treasured member of family. It’s one of the places I miss most about Pittsburgh.

I’ve been going for the last two years regularly. I’ve suggested it to many of my friends and family. I have not once had a bad haircut, and I think I’ve had the whole crew do at least one of my cuts. Even if there’s a bunch of people waiting, the wait isn’t ever that long. The prices can’t be beat either.

Theyre all great here. This is the only place I will get my hair cut at. I strayed once and ended up back here 1 week later because I was unhappy with the cut from the previous shop. The cut from the other shop wasnt even that bad but I became spoiled by Anthonys.

Just a awful place. Place should be called Anthony’s Clown 🤡 shop instead. Highly recommended that you do not spend your money 💰 at this circus 🎪

Very friendly staff, great prices however the only thing they lack is Actually listening to what the customer wants. I asked for a high fade & a shape up. that does not mean cut the top. other then this mistake it’s been a pleasurable experience.

The women that manage this Barber Shop are unprofessional, ignorant, disrespectful and foul-mouthed. They insult customers with vulgar and profane language on a daily basis. This is not a place to bring your children. They will swear, curse and berate anyone at anytime, regardless if children are present or not. If youre looking for a family Barber Shop with a professional environment, keep looking. If you want to get your hair cut by women that talk worse than truck drivers, then this is the place for you

Have been coming here for almost a year, friendly conversation and you get a nice cut regardless of who you get. Just wish they did a hot lather straight blade around the edges.

The Lady was more concered chatting with the other people about her weekend then asking me what kind of cut I wanted. And just started cutting. Wont be back.

Sit down. Wait your tun. Get a great cut.No frills, but great service. Mens haircut was $13.

I recommend going early so you dont have to wait but if not you may be entertained by the chatter in the mean while. Also, they use a neck massage machine at end which is unique but might be off putting if you dont expect it.
