Really great experience. Leo actually listened to what I wanted and cut my hair perfectly. He made the experience really enjoyable. The staff was polite and friendly, offering me a beverage when I came in while a waited just a few minutes. It is definitely worth the extra cost compared to the chain places, although Im not sure I can afford it every month since I like to get my hair cut frequently. Would love to come back soon.

I am a new customer. The staff were pleasant, the atmosphere relaxed, and the haircut was excellent; I had somehow found a no-longer-running special and everyone including the owners handled it politely, professionally, and respectfully. I highly recommend going here. Make an appointment though, they are busy!

I asked for a fade. Instead I received a bald spot on the fade, and some of the top of my hair cut off. On top of that I asked for a line up and got the opposite. I will not be returning ever again.

Leo is the MFn man, if hes not there the manager Joel is also amazing. It costs more than Great Clips because they actually know what theyre doing.Ive never considered myself a salon kind of guy but they have beer on tap, (when its not all covid everywhere) great BARBERS and I always walk out feeling good.

Very good place. 4 stars only because the prices are absurd. I went to Terris. She does a great job. The scalp massage is amazing. The cut was great. With the new Barber shops around Pittsburgh I dont see how they can justify the price though. $50 after tip when I have to go every other week is not okay.

Exotic place to cut hair and all needs

The best barbershop in Pittsburgh! Joel always does an excellent job, and I would never go to anyone else. I’ve received plenty of compliments for my hair ever since I finally started getting what I like to call a “real haircut.” If you want a professionally done cut that will absolutely impress people, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Joel. I haven’t had a better haircut or experience anywhere else.

I just recently started going here after years of looking for a good barber that can do a head shave. I definitely found that in Leo at the 18 8 salon.

Just returned from a haircut I had this afternoon. The entire staff was very kind and accommodating. Terri was my stylist, and she was fantastic; I was having some trouble with my hair in certain parts, a problem which no other hair stylist I’ve gone to was able to handle. Terri did so with ease, and the cut looks fantastic. She answered every question I had, and all of the products she used were fantastic and seemed of very high quality. I omit the fifth star only due to atmosphere—the lobby was very nice, but the section where the barber chairs were was kind of dull; I didn’t like the fact that they were kind of divided into cubicles, and the lighting/decoration could really use an upgrade. I do not like very plain and harsh phosphorescent lights, especially in an environment which is supposed to be relaxing. That aside, great overall experience. Would recommend Terri 10 times out of 10.

The groomsmen decided to go here the day before the wedding. The owner went above and beyond in accommodating us. He was super generous and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The environment was comfortable and relaxed. We enjoyed ourselves with some food and brew! Personally, I had the razor shave. It was done well. The person who gave me a shave also knew I needed some products and recommended some. Overall, nice place with good people.

This is a follow up from my appointment on 5-2-2018. I had one of the best experiences and best haircuts in my 56 years. I made an appointment online which is the way to go. The site was so easy to use.I chose a stylist that I never had. Her name is Julia. I made the right choice. She gave me the best haircut that I had in a long time. She was so professional and easy to talk too. I told her what kind of cut I wanted and she gave me suggestions that were right for me. I had an ear and nose wax which I highly recommend. I knew that if I kept searching I would find a stylist right for me. So, gentlemen if you are looking for a great stylist at 18/8 I would recommend making your appointment with Julia. Great salon for men, they have all kinds of snacks and drinks for you while you wait, different hair and beard products.. etc. As for the hair cut, if you have crazy long curly hair like me, make sure you schedule with Joel, he has ton of experience and does an amazing job!

Easily the best haircut Ive ever had.I got a lot of length taken off. Matt was an excellent communicator and really able to nail what I wanted. The result was unbelievably neat and precise, and the experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I walked out feeling invincible.

Got me on a walk-in after not being taken by the Ulta next door. Ended up being a great decision bc the staff here is fantastic and they seem like they really enjoy their jobs! Attention to detail and conversation was great and a refreshing change from the typical places Ive got to for haircuts before. 10/10 would recommend

Great Greeting as you walk in the door from louise ( sp ). My barber Leo definitely knows what he is doing, and the atmosphere is steller. The only area of opportunitiy I see with this establishment are the owners. I asked if they were the two people walking around and the answer was yes. I was the ONLY client inside and they could careless with saying hello or acknowleding my business. Other than that, great job !!!

Cut wasnt what I asked for. Hard to tell what they are doing because they keep you turned away from the mirror. The stylist I requested online wasnt the one I got either.
