The initial consultation seemed ok but when it came time for the child support hearing Steve was completely unprepared. He was extremely unfamiliar with my income and expenses even though the paperwork was right in front of him during the hearing. He spent NO time to prepare. After the hearing I asked if he could file for partial custody and after 2 weeks of him doing nothing he was fired for a real lawyer. Be careful here, dont waste your time or money on this fake lazy lawyer who could care less

I worked with Steven to get an uncontested divorce. I found him online and noticed he charged a flat fee (while other attorneys in the area had exorbitant fees of $1000+ plus fees). I thought there was some gimmick but really there actually wasn’t. He completed all the paperwork, the mailing, the filing etc etc and updated me every step of the way. All I did was: Provide my name, my (now) ex-husband’s name, the date of our marriage and addresses. That’s it. I’ve never felt great about spending $695 but in this case I do. Worth every penny! Steve handled my divorce case about 8 years back. It was a no-fault and all we needed to do was divide assets. He started out being forthcoming with information but it became clear pretty quick that he was only in it for the money. After he ran through my $1500 retainer he stopped answering the phone, stopped returning messages and never wanted to let me know where my divorce filing stood... then I found the Allegheny County Court’s on-line website and saw the dates & filings and knew exactly where I stood. He represented me at the hearing where it never made it to a judge. The attorneys worked it out after Steve came back several times with counter-offers after I clearly told him where I stood. I ended up filing all the remaining paperwork myself. I just wish he would have finished my case with the same enthusiasm as he started with.

I can not say enough good things about Steven and his law firm. I was referred to Steven by my neighbor some time ago. He helped me out tremendously with my custody proceedings. He know the laws inside and out. He is fair. He has no problem being up front and honest with you. He has no problem telling you when you are correct and when you are wrong on an issue. He is not one of those attorneys that will just take your word and fight a loosing battle just to take your money. Recently (a few years after my custody proceedings were over) I had an issue with a right of first refusal incident. Even though it was on a Friday, and he was off for the weekend, he took time away from his family to respond to my emails in a timely manner regarding the situation.I WOULD AND WILL ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES TO ANYONE WITH A DIVORCE OR CUSTODY CASE.
