- Super expensive. Landlord takes advantage of tenants who are mostly visitor academics in every way possible. some examples:Do you wanna extend your lease by one month ? Cool, be prepared to pay an extra 10% next month.do you need to refund your deposit? be prepared for large amount of cuts due to illogical reasons that the landlord will use to abuse you financially. and dont forget that most of the tenants will go back their home countries after they move out. so it isnt logistically possible to go against landlords deposit decision.- Landlord is obsessive with his apartments. hes everyday there. its super irritating.
My mother-in-law was staying at Friendship Suites with some friends while visiting from out of town. She was excited to show my husband and I the place. It seemed clean and well appointed. It was nice and cool on a hot July day despite using window unit air conditioning. She told us someone decided to clean their windows on the morning as she was brushing her teeth and would have rather had notice. She seemed to enjoy her stay regardless.
My sister and her husband came to town and needed a nice place to stay for the weekend. They had room and my sister said she was so pleased to stay in such a quaint place. Shes planning a visit next year and wants to come to the same place; maybe stay a little longer.
The place was beautiful and cozy. It was tiny and we were there for a funeral so that wasnt quite the ideal place to have that many family members but it worked out well. Beautiful area and a clean apartment.
My stay at Friendship Suites was good. Nothing to complain about in particular. People were quite friendly and always smiling. They even helped with directions when our GPS wasnt working when we looked for a restaurant.
It is not possible to get your deposit back, the landlord surely finds an excuse. While renting keep this in mind.
The house we stayed in was nice and roomy, but there were bright lights outside that shone in through the windows at night. I would recommend bringing some kind of eye mask before staying here. Also, I tried to use the onsite laundry, but the coin-op washing machine in the basement was broken. The owner offered to let me use the machine in the house next door, but I had to walk six blocks to get more quarters. And that machine didnt drain its water properly, so I had to wring the clothes out by hand and run the dryer twice. On checkout, the owner remunerated me with a full roll of quarters, but I would still rather have not gone through the whole ordeal. My stay would have been wonderful if Id brought a sleep mask and hadnt needed to do laundry.
Very friendly, very clean and nice rooms available at any time. I stayed there for a week while visiting here for a business trip and would highly recommend choosing this as a place to stay
Stay was great, place was lovely. Came in really late at night, so finding the parking lot in the back was incredibly difficult, but had a pleasant stay, nonetheless.
My parents stayed here while visiting. The rooms are very spacious and modern. Feels more like an apartment than a hotel.
Wonderful apartments, very clean and cheap. Staff was helpful
