My horse has lameness issues. I needed to find a vet that could do X-rays on a horse at a farm call as my normal vet cannot. Dr McPhearson is amazing. She did a physical exam and did recommend imaging. Quickly diagnosed my horse and recommended treatment. Now it’s a matter of time to see how it goes. She gave me options and explained all my choices going forward. Would recommend to anyone not only as a general practice vet but especially for issues with lameness. Even if we can’t completely “fix” my horse, I’m confident Dr McPhearson will have exhausted all realistic options

We were having some really severe issues with our pony - multiple illnesses and foundering with hoof abscesses. I am a small animal vet and dont know much about horses, but I do know compassion and excellent communication skills and Dr. McPherson has those, as well as a thorough understanding of what our complicated pony needed. We had another vet (well known) and could not get them to even respond to us when our pony started going downhill, and we were getting desperate for her. We called Dr. McPherson, she responded immediately, she came out that day, and got us on a path to help our pony. She didnt just look at her feet, she took her whole care plan into account - nutrition, all medications, everything. She is compassionate and very responsive. I would encourage her to make sure she takes as good care of herself as she does her clients and patients!

Dr. McPherson is absolutely one of the Best vets we have ever had, shes fast to respond, comes out quickly, knows how what she is doing, and is not afraid of horses. Absolutely love her!!!!! She saved are barrel horse, its been a slow recovery but so thankful she came. Thanks so muchDawn white

Dr. McPherson came out to our barn for my mares chronic abscess after my regular vet didnt feel it was necessary to make a farm call or address my concerns. Dr. McPherson came out the very next day, addressed all my concerns, took radiographs (and was so patient with my mare while doing so), helped me come up with a treatment plan - which involved taking my mare to OSU, cleaned and bandaged the foot, and followed through to make sure I got an appointment with OSU the very next day. She was extremely professional, yet personable, and was confident and direct in what needed to be done for my mare. She also is going to be providing after care assistance and follow-ups for my mare after she comes back from OSU. Dr. McPherson made sure that I wasnt being sent there blindly and that I knew she was available throughout the whole treatment. As a veterinary hospital director myself, I was extremely impressed with her and will continue using Dr. McPherson for my horses.
