These people are very rude and dont get the job done right the first time. Had my ac worked on, but not fixed. When I brought it to their attention it was still not fixed right they were full of attitude and tried to charge me another +200$. I was hung up on after asking for the customer service number. Found the number on Google just to get put threw a run around of lies, being told the area manager would contact me in 48 hours. That never happened. Called again and they said the regional manager had 48 hours to contact me, which of corse never happened. Now they claim the store did the work that was asked, which is bs because I asked for my ac to be fixed, and it still is not.

Great service! Brought in a 4-year-old Interstate battery that had a 5-year warranty and Firestone honored that warranty. I bought a new battery and they special ordered me another battery for my EV. They even gave me a veteran discount! Shout-out to anyone buying batteries in the Valley of Dead Batteries, go Interstate! They are absolutely the best battery on the market. I have tried dozens of other brands. A lesser Duralast battery from an automotive box chain was $20-$40 more and the warranty was even shorter. Im finally done searching for the best solution to batteries in the Valley.

A couple of months ago I took my car to this firestone to get an oil change. Scheduled it ahead of time, dropped it off accordingly, etc. Ive been here before, and prior to this visit the worst thing theyd do is the usual upsell/scare tactics people use on women who drop off their car. This time, however, I dropped off my car for my 12p appointment and at 1p they called me, informing me that they had just started working on my car but wouldnt you know I have nails in all four tires and need to have them all replaced.I thought that seemed ludicrous, I mean I drove the car there and hadnt had any indication that I had low tire pressure or anything, so I was immediately skeptical and thought even if there WERE nails in all my tires, which is highly unlikely, then that must have happened under their watch, not mine. I told them to hold off and just do the oil change, Id check on the tires when I came to pick up my car.When I went to pick up my car I asked if theyd show me where the nails were, and the mechanic said it would be too hard to point out now that the car isnt on the lift. I insisted, and so he walked me to my car and sort of vaguely pointed to my tires (I couldnt see anything).Anyways, drove the car off the lot and back home no problem. Waited a couple months to see if there was any pressure issues in case they were right and nothing. Tires havent deflated in any way.Basically, they called and tried to trick me into purchasing a full set of new tires. Women, beware. This was the most out there attempt to scam me and upsell me I have ever witnessed, and I wont be going back to this location again.

I would not recommend this place. I took my vehicle in to get my ac checked out, they stated misc damages to the system, including the condenser and quoted me $1200 - $1800 worth of repairs. I took it in for a second opinion, the other shop physically showed me that my system only had a leak through a hose that needed replacement and the ac compressor clutch replaced for a total price of around $400. My system has been running perfectly now for several months with no issues. My son had previously taken his car for a part replacement as well that was not installed properly, causing it to burst and leak onto other parts that damaged them. They refused to take accountability for their mistake. Always get a second opinion and stay away from this shop.

I took my car here for an oil change in mid-March, 2020. Firestone complete the oil change for $95.00. I drove home. I checked the oil level. The oil level was normal. The next morning, I noticed a two foot oil puddle underneath the front of my car. I checked the oil filter to make sure that it was secure. I checked my oil level. The oil level was low. I took my car to an auto shop that my friend recommended. My car was raised on the lift and before touching anything, the mechanic showed me the oil pan drain bolt insecurely fitted into the pan. There was oil dripping from the bolt. I took photos. The mechanic began to unscrew the bolt and it would only remove 1/2-1/4 of a turn. The bolt was cross threaded.

Its unfortunate I cant rate this Firestone with 0 stars. Please, save yourself and others, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE, under ANY circumstances. After making arrangements with them to have my mothers car worked on, I had it towed to the location on Central, north of Southern. Long story short, the staff was beyond rude, they allowed my mothers car to just sit in the parking lot for 4 or 5 days without being evaluated or looked at. They stated they were behind at least 5 days and I said why didnt you disclose that to me to begin with? Surely I wouldve picked another location! I ended up calling corporate for a refund of the 100. It cost me to bring it there, only to need another tow to get it to another shop that fixed it in less than 3 hours. Horrible experience! Never ever again.

Our car broke down on Wednesday. After being unable to fix it ourselves, we decided to have it towed to Firestone to have it repaired. We couldnt get it there before they closed on Thursday, so we had called them and let them know we would have it towed there Friday morning.Calling daily to check on the status of the car, we were told they would get to it Saturday or Sunday. When we called on Sunday to make sure they would get to our car when they said they would, they then tried to tell us again that they had too many appointments and probably wouldnt get to it Sunday either. We reminded them that they told us they would get to it by Sunday and said we would take it elsewhere if they couldnt, so they grudgingly brought it in to one of their bays (after leaving it by itself in the parking lot overnight twice) and took a look.Towards the end of business on Monday, they told us they had no idea what was wrong with the car (but were able to say it wasnt there timing belt) and that they didnt have the equipment to further diagnose the problem. They told us that the computer was probably bad.After having them push the car back into the parking lot Tuesday, we took another look at it car. The first thing we noticed was that they fried our battery. The battery was still working when we had it taken there. Then we attached a jump box to the car, plugged in our code reader and found out that the computer is working just fine.So not only were they not going to look at our car when they said they would, but they made it worse by killing our battery and putting things back together carelessly (they didnt hook the battery back up and they smashed the air filter when putting it back together) and couldnt even do something as simple as plugging in a code reader to see that it ISNT the computer thats bad. And thats just what we could figure out in the first hour.If I could give zero out of five stars I would.

I would not recommend this location. We took a car in for an oil change and to patch a tire. We called to ensure the tire was patched and ready to go before we picked up. When we arrived, the car was in the lot with a completely flat tire. They then proceeded to tell us they couldnt repair it and we had to buy new tires (after we had called to confirm it was patched). After airing it up, we took it to the location on 51st Ave and Southern Ave where they patched it quickly with no problem. I would not trust recommendations from this location.

Wanted to take a moment and describe my positive experience at the South Central Firestone location. Thumbs up! The mechanic Pedro was very professional and helpful in telling me exactly where my alignment was prior and after my 1st alignment service.This location has a very sophisticated Hawk Eye alignment station, which allows them to be extremely accurate and quick! I was easily convinced to get the lifetime alignment, as I drive a Toyota Tundra with lift kit and over-sized tires. My truck steers true straight and steering wheel is spot on!!Thank you Pedro and the nice management staff at S. Central Location. Hope my next visit is as pleasant as my 1st. -Danny

They are really good at Diagnosing issues. The prices are very high for certain repairs. They also have trouble diagnosing computer issues on newer vehicles. Any older Vehicle that has minimal computer systems they can find and fix any issue for a big chunk of money though. Oil Changes are typically done very quickly here as well.

I come here for most of my repairs and all of my maintenance. All of the staff members that Ive met have been extremely pleasant and even know me by name. I would definitely recommend this place. Contrary to a few other reviews this place is not a ripoff and the prices are pretty much the same anywhere else (and less expensive than the dealership).

It’s hard to trust someone to take care of your vehicle so it’s safe to drive and when technicians without care and concern, it puts you out.Came into this tire shop because my “check pressure” the took two hours with my car. When I received it they said they had checked all my tires, filled them up to the appropriate Psi and patched one tire twice. Trusted. Paid. Left.Drove to west side Phoenix to find that my tire was low again. Went to a different firestone where they were professional and cared about their work (Bethany home and 35th ave). Where I was educated and told that my tire should have not been patched twice and that my tires were filled unevenly (some left very low, some past what they should be).

Great customer service. I come down to this shop all the time. Its right down the road from my house. But Im constantly bringing my truck in because my tire pressure sensor acts funny sometimes & to make sure my tires are alright. My mom brings her truck down to get oil changes & overall maintenance and because of her experience, now I will always come here to get my truck serviced. Awesome manager/team. Easily called & made an appointment, dropped my truck off & they called me to let me know what it needed & about how long it would be done and it was what they said it was - easy.

Edited to add: The manager, Howie, called me today to apologize and offer a refund. I do appreciate that.I went in today and had quite the experience. I made the appointment for an oil change, new windshield wipers and to replace one headlight bulb. After reviewing the estimate I notice that I was being charged $91 for two headlight bulbs, $45.99 per bulb. I took the paper up to the counter and questioned it. He said something about the computer making a mistake and corrected it. The correct cost was $13.99! I understand mistakes can happen, and had that been the only problem, I wouldnt have given this review. As I was paying, I notice that it says oil leak on the paper. I questioned this and he says, oh yeah you have a leak. Now, when I went in, there was no leak. I said that and he said oh its small, you can fix it next time. Would he have even said anything if I hadnt noticed? I paid and head out to my car to find the rear window down. Annoying but no big deal. I get home and I notice that my windshield wipers do not seem to be replaced, which I paid for, and when I moved my vehicle from the driveway there is now a rather large oil spot. I have been parking in my driveway for over 6 months and there are no other oil spots until this one. My family has been longtime loyal customers to Firestone, however after this experience I will take my vehicles elsewhere.

Just stopped in for an alignment (I have a Lifetime Alignment thru Firestone). I was surprised how quickly they were able to get me in considering I did not have an appointment. Also worth noting that my vehicle is a modified 4x4 with a full aftermarket suspension, most alignment shops, including many Firestone locations, have a tough time getting the alignment correct. This location did a pretty good job, not the best ever, but better than most.If they can provide the same service consistently, I will happily raise to 5 stars.

I am not one to write reviews, but...these folks were awesome. I called about a slow leak in my front tire. They made me an appointment for two oclock the same day. I told them I had to wait for the car. They said no problem, it will take between 30-45 minutes. I showed up and they got me check in. 35 minutes later, my tire was plugged (there was a nail in my tire) and I was on my way. The service was fantastic.

I took my mini van to 3 other mechanics but Kevin (the michanic) was the first to figure out why my van was dying while I was driving and he figured it out in under an hour. They had to order parts but I got my van back the next day before lunch and its running better than it ever has. Thanks Firestone!

Made an appointment at 3pm and drove an extra 45 minutes because of the great reviews. On arrival they have only 1 single mechanic actually working with 4 vehicals needing repairs / fixes including my own. Told Im not on the list of people for an apointment and the only other available day is 4 more from today. Im glad its just and oil change and tire issues, not an emergency. Not scheduling with them again. Apparently appointments arent even logged into the system correctly.

Starting 03-24-2019. It was after a small accident where another driver merged and a ran up on a curb. The other drivers insurance agreed to pay for repairs after the accident. Went to firestone for a full inspection and surprisingly they found nothing wrong with the vehicle. They just did an alignment. Come a couple months the cars shaking. Because they kept my car from open to close I finally found time to take it back in under warranty 07-19. I get 2 new tires recommended. Get the tires and another alignment. Come back 08-22 when I found time because it was shaking. Told its because they didnt rotate the tires correctly. They rotate and align for the 3rd time. My car started shaking again a few weeks ago. Yesterday I decide on a different location. This new location lists off about 5 things that are dangerous that all has to do with the front end. They refuse to align because iys dangerous to drive. Ive been driving it since 03.24.2019 and was told it was fine. I made a complaint. Customer Service Agent Nick called me and told me it had nothing to do with my accident so they wouldnt cover it. I told him it more than likely contributed because the machanics had me on the road shaking in my vehicle for over 5 months. I told him that every time i went in they had my car from open to close for an alignment only to tell me there was nothing wrong with my car. Firestone is understaffed and rushing repairs that we pay 100s of dollars for. I feel they should help pay for my time and safety but they refuse to help. The insurance also told me they would pay if the machanics found more issues with the vehicle. How is it Nicks place to decide the insurance would have not made the repairs? He wasnt there and they didnt even find the obvious problems. I had to go in 4 different times before being told my vehicle in fact didnt need only an alignment but major repairs to be safe on the roads. Thank you

I would never take my car to this location if I did not have to. The service advisers are very rude, unprofessional, and argumentative with me. I have a current corporate complaint regarding a previous repair with this location. It is my belief the service advisers have adopted a bullying, defensive, attitude towards me due to the previous complaint. I have dealt with Elaine, Howie, and Raphael and all of them are combative and argumentative with me. Due to an ongoing complaint with Firestone they have pre-judged me and they are treating me unfairly. Two weeks ago I brought my car in for a coolant leak where the top radiator hose was repaired. Two weeks later the car is still overheating. Admittedly, upset when I spoke to Elaine on Friday, August 2, 219, she told me I could take my car somewhere else. I was very upset and hung up on her. I made a 1:00 appt with Firestone on Saturday, August 3, 2019 only to find out they could not resolve the issue. Service Adviser Howie was willing to let me go without knowing the full scope of the problem. I had to show him a video of how the car was acting in order for them to take a second look at the car. I was upset with Howie because he was willing to let me drive off knowing there could be further problems. Howie began to raise his voice and I became upset not understanding why their attitude was so belligerent. Finally, I spoke with Pedro and he calmed the situation. I made an appointment for Sunday, August 4, 2019 @ 8:00 am to return the car. I spoke with Service Adviser Raphael who stated the mechanic Muhammad had not yet arrived. Pedro stated the mechanic should call him and he would walk him through the different test to check my vehicle. I waited the entire day and called Firestone at 4:50 pm to check on my car and Raphael mentioned something about the thermostat and the radiator fan needing replacement for $600.00. Firestone had no intention of calling me and providing an update on my vehicle. I became upset because Raphael s attitude was unprofessional and defensive for no reason. I asked Raphael why didnt he call me and he stated they had other vehicles they were working on. Raphael stated he didnt know anything about Pedro calling and working with the mechanic. Service Adviser Raphael became argumentative with me and stated Well, you can wait until Pedro comes back on Tuesday. What kind of service is this? As a customer I dont deserve to be treated in such a discriminate and rude manner. Firestone could not discern the problem on August 3, 2019. Firestone had my vehicle the entire day on Sunday, August 4, 2019, and still did not fix the problem. I have to wait a third day to have my car repaired. I believe the negative attitude of these Service Adviser are in retaliation for an ongoing corporate complaint. This is a professional shop and it should not take three days for a repair to be diagnosed and addressed.

The staff is always really helpful and friendly, but the prices for an oil change seem a bit excessive. I paid nearly $100 for an oil change in my Passat. Even with the synthetic oil, I didnt expect to pay that much. The thing that annoyed me the most was getting in the car and seeing my tire pressure light on. Did they not check my tire pressure? I paid for it... It makes me wonder if they did any of the other things on the checklist. Did they refill my washer fluid?

This place on 51st did about 500 dollara worth of work. Put a hole in one of my hoses had to take it back same day. Then 2 months later the wiring work they did has my van misfiring like its a shortage in there. So i dropped it off and now its just sitting there for over 24hrs and they saying they will get to it the next day which was told to me when i initially dropped it. All the way around runaround cause they dont wanna fix their mess up. Im pisses to the fullest. Pay too much money for them to treat me this way.. Sad ass place!!!!

Technicians have little disregard for how they leave your vehicle after service. My interior (carpet, inner side of door, entrance step) was stained by oil and grime from Javier, the technician that serviced my car. His shoe print is still on my carpet, as I had a hell of a time removing the rest of the scum in my car. If you take pride in your vehicles interior, I do not recommend Firestone, as they have failed to train their employees to do the same. So disrespectful.

Got all 4 tires replaced and they used bad stems on the tires. Within the last 2 weeks I had both my rear tires blow from the stems failing and a different local Firestone confirmed that the remaining 2 were faulty as well and replaced them all for free.Im so lucky they both blew when I was stopped. I had been traveling through the mountains and if one decided to go when I was driving around one of those tight turns I would be dead.So yes, I give this Firestone one star for almost killing me.

And they fixed it i asked them if i would a need tire because of that nail and they said it wasnt that bad. Since i didnt have time to work on my own car like i prefer.. i decided to take my nissan in for a valve cover gasket replacement, an alignment and a tension rod replacement. In my opinion It was overpriced @ $950 but i decided to trust their work and pay it. When i picked it up: the alignment was off... much more than originally. I made them throw it back on the rack and realign it. I left and drove the car for about a month and realized the valve cover gasket had been leaking because the bolts werent torqued down properly, i took it back and they said it was fine, it wasnt leaking - they only said this- because they cleaned it up with de greeser rather than re tourquing it. I took it home drove it some more it began leaking again and i re torqued it down myself to stop the leak. I asked them for warranty replacement on the gasket and they refused to replace it saying it was not leaking. Irresponsible wanna- be techs. Never taking my car there again. Cant even torque down a bolt.

This place has little business compared to other big shops so becareful with the way they try to trick you for more money because they are GETTING DESPERATE TO COVER THEIR EXPENSES. I call them up and ask what do you charge for a complete vehicle inspection which is listed on their website, $22 they say. So I go in and they tell me Our mechanic scheduled you for the $105 on board diagnostic. They said with the complete vehicle inspection, they would not diagnose the car. Why would you call it a Complete vehicle inspection on your website if thats NOT what it is?? Im like okay sure charge me the $105 for the check engine light/on board diagnostic even though you have a huge sign outside that says FREE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT SCAN Its FALSE ADVERTISING. The complete vehicle inspection listed on their site is not complete and their free check engine light scan is not free. Their website even talks about free courtesy inspections on the car even though the last time I came in for an oil change, they charged me $10 for the courtesy inspection which their website says is free.2. After all this, the guy tries selling me on this credit card without being clear that its a credit card. Dont get it because once you do, theyll try to be sneaky and charge you for services on that credit card without your permission.3. So after waiting an hour, the guy comes out to give me an update. He tells me what they think is wrong with it and tells me its gonna cost $500. Heres one of the tricks they do. They do this thing where they pretend to lower the price on some work. Theyll be like Its going to cost $500 but I can lower it for you by $20. They try this selling tactic on EVERY CUSTOMER that walks in through the door. Why not just be honest and straight up instead of being a sleazy ass company pretending to lower the price? Also watch out for the fuel injector thing they try to sell you every time you get an oil change, its totally unnecessary, look it up online.4. So the guy comes back in once again and notifies me that the mechanic ended up getting a tool stuck in the head gasket basically breaking it. He says that theyre going to have to take apart the entire engine and replace the head gasket which is going to take 2 days however this dude was still trying to sell me on the $480 worth of services needed which I already told him 5 times that I did not want but at this point they were trying to cover costs for having to replace a part that they broke. How qualified are these mechanics??? This place is also at a terrible part of town, when I went there, their door window was smashed because somebody had broken in a few nights before.5. If you have money to use on these big auto shops, do not settle for ones like Firestone where they try to be slick with you and play games with you without just being straight up. The Fletchers on 51st ave and baseline was ALWAYS straight up with me with services and never pretended to lower prices or upsell on unnecessary services however Firestone bought that Fletchers so now I go to a dude on 35th avenue and Washington called Dannys auto/electric. Honest small shop guy, been to him in the past, knows what hes doing and gets the job done for less than half the price compared to Firestone where theyll charge you thousands of dollars to end up breaking a major part on your car. Also, the high mileage oil fee that they charge for $50 is a rip off, you do not need a high mileage oil change, youre better off doing the oil change on your own or go to Walmart on 35th avenue and southern where they charge $20 for an oil change. Also, they tell you that you need an oil change every 3000 miles which is false to get more money from you. If you research online, multiple sites tell you that getting an oil change every 3000 miles is actually BAD for your car. Look at your owners manual or get an oil change every 6000-7500 miles.

Service is terrible. I called to make apt. For oil change. Then waited 2 hours and found out they took other cars into bay before mine. I complained to manager and he was so arrogant took my truck into bay and 10 minutes later truck is outside and he comes back and just trows keys back at me. I called their corporate office and they said they would speak with manager and call me back. Nothing was ever done and I never received a call back. Avoid this kind of place bad service and overpriced
