Recently, took my English bulldog to have ac-section. Surgery went well, the doctor was informative, professional & straightforward. He delivered 8 healthy pups. Our girl is thriving & has been healing well. Thankful and grateful we found a reliable doctor. The follow up appts have gone good. This place gets really busy and stays busy from what I’ve witnessed. But thankfully we didn’t have to wait much since we had appts & arrived on time. Our experiences with the staff & Dr. have been positive. Thank you to all who cared for our girl.

This although very busy is a good clinic and has very good rates. Staff is young and not always as professional as they can be in the front desk, but the assistants who take you back in the room are great with the animals, give you a lot of information and treat the animals so well. The Provider truly cares about the animals and you are able to get in very quickly for appointments when needed. Cost is really good and completely worth using this facility I have recommended it too many family members and friends.

Dr. Santi and his staff (family) have taken care of my pets from beginning to end. Any negative reviews are horribly wrong. They have done cancer mass removal surgeries for my dog as well as neuter. They also have done euthanasia for me same dog with a respectful ceremony. They have also taken my other dog (patient) in after he passed away Christmas eve and got him cremated for me with no issues because thats the type of good people they are. Each time theyve told me not to worry they would take care of everything for my deceased pups and they did. Recently they have vaccinated my new pup fully this year. They are good priced and family ran. I recommend them to anyone.

Do not ever take your pet here. Just dont. Paid $60 for a doctor to just tell me my cat is fat and he acted like he knew absolutely nothing about cats at all and had never interacted with one before. No one should have to argue with a doctor about not doing their job. Felt like a total scam, just some random person saying hes a doctor for money. Lazy, unprofessional and made no attempt to help with anything. Just go somewhere else.

I hope someone reads this and immediately changes their mind about considering a visit. I would’ve given this place negative stars for my traumatic experience. The entire process was unprofessional, insensitive, careless, etc. I can genuinely say I experienced the worst day of my life in this clinic; the vet and staff couldn’t care any less. Besides one young man who assisted me with my process but unfortunately I did not get his name. I pray for all the animals being “treated” at this vet clinic.

Be very careful going here the doctor will immediately recommend surgery!! My dog did not need it and is frankly too old for surgery.

I took my dog to the vet and they checked her and said it was her bones etc... because her back legs didnt want to stand up. Then they sent me home but as I got home it looked like my dog had a seizure so I called asking what do I do and all they told me was to come back and pick up seizures medicine but to not bring the dog. I was shocked to see how unprofessional they were. What if I called and said that my dog had cancer how would they know what he truly had. I was fortunate to investigate and find out that all my dog needed was honey some sugar but thats something they didnt know.

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE AND THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING WHO GIVES A DOG COUGH MEDICINE WHEN THEY HAVE A URINARY TRACT INFECTION especially when my dogs kidneys were not doing so well and she didn’t even have a cough or needed that medicine and gave her no medicine or something for the pain she was in she had a very bad urinary infection and the doctor didn’t even find out till the very last min like days later and it was very clear but they did all this stuff and now she’s gone :( very very bad experience here the out come was way worse than I thought and she could’ve been saved I was just rushing her to the nearest place and all the good places we’re booked and money was tight.

The amount of people who take their pets to this clinic is astronomical! Why would all these people continue to bring their pets here if the vet and staff services werent great?I have taken 2 of my dogs to this vet. One was for a droopy eyelid and another was for a heart murmur. Both times we were given the best treatment options and were charged within a reasonable price. This vet clinic is very busy so expect a wait time and have patience. Dr. Hugo and the staff there are friendly and professional. It is clear they love caring for animals and do what they can to do was is in the best interest for the animal. The clinic is a bit stinky, but I guess its what you would expect from such a busy place. I cant help, but thank them for everything theyve done for my dogs. I truly am grateful!If you dont have time to wait then I would schedule an appointment elsewhere. If it is an emergency then take your dog/cat to an emergency vet clinic. I think a lot of the bad reviews are from people who wait until their pets are past the point of no return (so basically dying) and those who dont realize there is a long wait time. Also please take into consideration the service you are receiving along with the price - supplies, utilities, rent, and staff need to be paid unfortunately as much as they would like to they are not a charity.

Dr. Hugo has been the vet for the 6 dogs (Akita Mix, Lab Mix, Pit Mix, Havanese and Siberian Huskies) Ive had and have for almost 20 years. He is a wonderful and loving vet. The staff is helpful and their clinic is VERY busy. They take walk-ins and you can schedule appointments. Their lobby is always full of clients and if you have an emergency or are impatient, you can make the decision to turn around and go to different clinic. You should call ahead if you are confused about that. In my experience, they are compassionate and do what they can to help each client so it is a shame so many people have decided to vent and grieve in a google review rather than provide constructive feedback or just face the unfortunate reality that not all pets survive their illnesses.He treated two of my dogs for Parvo and both of them lived long happy lives. He performed surgery on one of my dogs who was hit by a car and made her paw as good as new. They all received excellent care and my dogs always feel loved here. The people complaining about prices probably have never ever taken their dogs to a vet before. This clinic is very affordable. I just took my dog in for a surgery to remove a blockage in one of my dogs and she is doing well. I will continue bringing in my beloved pets to Dr. Hugo. Thank you to Dr. Hugo and to his kind and helpful staff.

My dog had surgery due to an ear hematoma, paid more than 600 dollars for it and two weeks after, it came back and what did the vet had to say? That he needed surgery again! And that we had to pay AGAIN, and that if the hematoma kept coming back... well, that they would have to chop his ear off!!! Seriously?? It is not a cancer! The girls at the office are clue-less about their jobs. I will 10000 not recommend this clinic. They are only after your money and do not care about your pets.

Ive taken all my dogs to Df. Santi because he doesnt make you spend on unnecessary tests. He is honest and very caring. Their staff is always very welcoming, friendly, and very professional.

I have been coming to Santis for over 25 years now. Those who say his prices are high dont know what other vets charge. He is honest & on several occasions has saved me from spending hundreds by giving me options. Office staff wasnt always the most professional but they are gone & not a reflection of his personal service or prices.

Took my doberman for a consultation since he had gotten bit by a dog at the dog park and unfortunately he needed surgery. I took him in at 8am and they had me pick him up at 5pm. Ive been following their instructions and my dog is doing much better and feeling better also. I did think the price was a little too high but i trusted them and im grateful for my dogs results

I had gone here because my 4 month old puppy wasnt feeling well and I couldnt get in anywhere else. I called in advance and let them know my pup wasnt doing well. They told me to come at 1 pm. I arrived and checked in with my sick puppy not even wanting to move. They explain that they wanted to parvo test him and told me to sit down.. I asked how long I would have to wait in the lobby with my sick possibly infectious puppy and they said a few moments. But I wasnt see until 2 hours later when my puppy couldnt move and I finally went up and said I needed to be seen now.They finally tested him and it came back positive. So my poor puppy was sitting in the lobby with other dogs possibly giving them the chance of getting parvo. As my dog is still laying not waiting to me the tech came in and gave me an estimate of $800-$1000. Explained that he will have to stay 1-2 nights but he will be alone overnight.i told her I was uncomfortable leaving him overnight by himself. While waiting for the Dr I called 1st pet to see if I could get him in and they said they could take him right away. I explaied to the tech that I was going to take him to emergency because he needed around the clock care. She got very upset that I didnt want to leave my pet there. After 30 minutes I went out to the lobby. And said I was leaving and that I wanted to pay for the test, they told me Id have to pay for a Dr fee as well wich I didnt agree to since I didnt see the Dr. I only agreed to pay for the test. They then ran my card for the exam which he didnt get and the test. I am currently fight these charges

By far one of the worst places i have ever gone to to have my dog taken care of. I wouldnt be surprised if the vet didnt have a real license to work. I brought my dog in because of a fever. He gave me cough medication. My dog didnt have a cough. Next thing I know my dog is getting worse and worse. My dog then started crying and throwing up so I brought her back. They then said she hada urinary infection and gave me medication for that. 2 days later everything is getting worse. I bring my dog in one more time to find out that she dies on the examination table. DO NOT GO HERE!

I’ve been bringing my dogs here for a long time. Recently one of my dogs passed away Andy. We’ve had him for 13 years and this was so hard for us. We brought Andy to Santis right away once we learned he passed away in his sleep. They were so kind and we had Andy cremated and today we picked up his ashes. I did not know they were going to put Andy ashes in a beautiful urn and they also gave us his pawprint on a wood piece for us cherish forever. This means so much to us. Thank you to the staff you guys are so kind

The procedure they did on my dog was good. What has been driving me crazy is their prices. I called for my dogs procedure, they said $350 on the phone. I get there, they said $500. I went ahead and did it. As I am doing paper work, they get a phone call and I hear them say $350 and asked if it was for the same breed and procedure, and sure it enough, it is. I have a 2nd puppy, I called today, and now its $620. Make up your guys mind!!!!!

This place is joke.

I had to put my dog down, the whole staff was so kind, treated my dog if it was their own. The vet even said a quick little prayer of my dog. I cant get over their compassion.

If I could rate this vet I would give a 0 I’ve had multiple pets go to this place because I’m consistent with the one place for all my pets just like I have one primary care doctor it just makes it easy right make sense? I had a dog come in from cancer his arm Had swollen up and the dog was vomiting with blood He had cancer and the moment I got there without evaluation they assumed I was starving my pet due to the fact that he had had a lot of weight loss. Also I took my second pet Bella she was Having epilepsy episode so we took her for a valuation. The vet suggested we give her anti-epileptic medication. I asked The vet if she thought based on her condition if she would be OK or if we should put her down the vet suggested the medication. It took from the time we left the vet Picked up Bella’s medication and got home as soon as we got home Bella passed away. Now don’t get me wrong I am aware that as the vet you do ask you can just like a regular doctor we cannot predict when the pet will pass. The next day I called to advise that Bella had passed. I received my condolences and moved on with my day.Now my pet That I’ve had for under a year has been throwing up and not eating so I took him to the emergency room thinking that it would possibly Pavo, I called Santi clinic to schedule a follow up but prior to that I asked What was Bella date of death? The lady advice she didn’t have a record of Bella passed my heart ache due to the fact that I trusted this clinic she advised she would notate in the system that Bella had passed. When calling again later on because I had omitted some documents from my dog hospital I spoke to a different representative, And just to make sure I am when was Bella’s date of death he replied with 01/01/2020 When I clearly advise the lady that I had provided the information sheet now twice that the date of death what’s the date of service she was last seen Which was November 13, 2020. This has been a really hard because I’ve had two pets that have passed after living a wonderful life for years and least I expect from my family vet If accuracy in the notation of the records they have with my pet and a little compassionate for the situation. I never received a callback. Owning an animal it is such a big responsibility you need to make sure their health is on top as well as their happiness. I would not recommend to anyone

Horrible place, DO NOT come to this place. They don’t not follow any of the CDC guidelines set. They do what they want. Vet has no to little knowledge about the our dog. We give him paper work and told him existing conditions... gave us completely wrong info.... Once brought up CDC he got all defensive. I will not recommend this place at all.... this place should be closed down. The head vet, didn’t even wash his hand from visiting other dogs to check up on our dog..... what a shame....

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! very bad service for my dog, Old Lady at the front desk very arrogant, they did extra procedures(sedation) without letting me know when I had ask before, waited more than 2 hours to be seen WITH APPOINTMENT. my Dog had a broken leg and took her here the Doctor said it was something serious and couldnt fix her. Took her somewhere else and they did do something, more professional. They told me that at Santis they could of have done something for her at that time and the leg could of have heal better. Not good, dont waste your time.

First time here and I like it. I was concern with the reviews but I decided to take my dog here anyway because they offer a free 1st exam to dogs adopted from the animal shelter. I thought that was nice helping animals in their new forever home and we did have a new adopted dog. I thought the staff was friendly and helpful. The Dr. Was awesome with our new pup. My Dog was a little nervous and the Dr. Was very patient and kind. I really liked the way he made sure my dog was comfortable talking to him and petting him through the exam. I was very pleased with our experience.

Horrible place smells and they had my 17 year old son waiting 2 hours for vaccines because the doctor was at lunch. I think its funny the place looks trashy and the staff has a serious attitude problem. Im sure they are use to this kind of reviews from everyone...because they sure have good responses as they have a lot of experience.

Very poor costumer service. They had me waiting and then at the end they told me they would charge me for full treatment but could only keep my dog till Friday because they would close during the weekend and stated that if she did not get better i would have to seek medical attention from someone else. Meaning I would have to start treatment and consult in another place(i would have to pay everything again).

Worst service ever they returned my dogs to me saying they were stable when they were dying . I tried to call them and they didn’t even answer . I had to take them somewhere else to a emergency veterinarian where 1 of them passed away 3 hours after they gave him too me. I have paper work from the other hospital saying how bad in shape he was returned To me . my other dog is still hospitalized he was not stable at all . if you appreciate your pets life don’t come here this is the worst place you can go too . April 8th 2020, My Australian Cattle 4 month puppy was reached with parvo we immediately took him to the clinic, we love that clinic all though it dosent look professional they do their job ! I always took my Long Haired Chihuahua To get her checked for pyometra and to get all her vaccines and it all ended well . So we took him to get checked they told us he had parvo and he needed treatment which was around 950$ my brother was shocked and we didn’t have that kind of money and we immediately felt bad for our puppy he was in pain but a lady named rosalina was so kind and understanding through this but even though we couldn’t get him the treatment for parvo she still helped us by giving us tips and hope . The Next day we had a donation drive and raised 815$ and were able to help our pup by taking the donations and taking him to the vet the same day and within 3 days he was cured he absolutely loved the nurses he didn’t looked harmed in any way and now he’s the little happy pup he was before, it does seem expensive but before doing the treatment I did some research this is the cheapest treatment for parvo any other clinic does the same treatment and it is around 1,356$ I recommend this clinic very much and are looking forward to get vaccines for my little pup too !

Good service but was overcharged for antibiotics. If youre given Bilovet, you will be charged about $136 per 100g container. I found what appears to be the same brand of antibiotics and same amount on the Valley Pet Supply website for $48

The prices are great, you can afford to make sure your pets are healthy. The staff is very friendly and loving to our dogs when we take them in. They have a great puppy package for shots, very reasonable. They even extend their hours to make sure pet is seen. They dont lock the door at closing, they wait to see if more pets need to be seen, that is awesome!

This man isnt in it for the money. What I paid total for my 1st visit: $140., & that INCLUDED her meds! My feline was treated for calicivirus which is not curable, can only be treated. Dr Santis DECLINED doing lab work (he said he would if I wanted, but it would only add EXTRA COSTS!) Who does this?? Every single vet Ive been to REQUIRES labs no matter what. He is SO good- my extremely shy cat purred (the one in my profile image on the right) while he gave her a steroid injection! He is rather elderly, & may be hard to understand as his accent is rather pronounced. I love this man- truly- I have been to him twice again, and he managed to CORRECT my misdiagnosis on another cat I thought she was having an allerg. reaction- no it was just an abscess. All my cats like this doctor- they KNOW he is good. I am convinced the bad reviews are from owners who brought their animals in way too late & nothing could be done for them. This vet is in a terrible economically depressed area- but what a GEM I found with Dr Santisi. Thank you. I am a real, honest to goodness customer, I am a real person & dont know anyone at this clinic or associated with them in any way.

I had the opportunity to deal with the doctor and staff and Santis and the visit was wonderful. The doctor was gentle with my dog and explained everything to me. The staff could not have been more helpful! They were compassionate and professional. I will recommend them to anyone on the west side.

I have been coming to Santis Pet for the last 6 years, he has taking great care of my pets. He even saved the kitten a dog attacked in the face.Great service, very reasonable, and I love the walk in service and hours that his office provides.I was referred to him by a family member and i can comfortably refer you also!

I am very disappointed in them, worst costumer service ever! My dog is very ill, in case youre wondering how ill; my dog is throwing up blood! All they did was a check up and we were being mistreated without them knowing that its our first puppy we have gotten and we went in for help not to get bossed around. They sent my dog home with absolutely nothing! No medication or something. NOTHING! All they made us do is pay for the check up and gave us is a bill for us to save his life. I seriously think all they care and want is money because I took that as its either pay the bill or let him die. Something needs to be done now and fast my dog is ill and I want some help, I am very worried about him. I still have faith and Im hoping he will be fine! May god and his angels send me a miracle!

Such a knowledgeable and caring vet. He often addresses the animals before the people. He keeps such low prices because he does it for the love of the animals not money. I have been going to him for years and recommend him every chance I get.

I brought my dog after paying almost 300 dollars they honestly could not tell me what was wrong with him they told me to bring him back the next day at 8am for surgery my dog was dead by 4 in the morning if SURGERY was that of an emergency they acted like it was no big deal telling me to bring him in the next morning this place Sucks they dont care about your fur babies

Our dog had an accident that needed immediate attention, and were told he needed surgery. We left him at the hands of this clinic.We called later in the day to ask about our dog, only to be told that they had not even started the procedure and were Too busy. I must question why they filled their schedule with other pets when our own had an obvious emergency? Our dog had to stay overnight.Our dog was left unattended for more than 24 hours, surgery was immediately needed due to an accident we had with our dog, that was not performed in a timely manner despite the dog being in obvious pain.We blame this piece of information for having to call this location 24 hours later to tell us that our dog had passed away. And if you look further into the reviews, you will see that many share this experience.We had to call, they never immediately informed us of our dogs death which at the very least can only be described as unprofessional.They did not know how to professionally deal with obviously distraught owners and their lack of organization of paperwork and their obvious lack of answers to our obvious questions did not help the ordeal.According to the AVMA, a veterinarian has an oath;I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics.This was obviously not the case.Though their prices are better than others, it is not worth putting your pet at risk.Edit: I see that I have obtained a response from the team completely ignoring my experience and my now, deceased dog. You state that my name does not show up in the data base and proceed with We are not hiding anything, are you?. I am utterly dissapointed that their response consisted of what seems to me an accusation that our review is built of lies. Our pain and guilt in bringing them here was quite real. But to respond to their not so professional response, I will say that a dog is often shared by family members. Though my name is not on your computer I was present throughout with the individual that does. In fact, I did not know that my goodbye to leaving him in your care would be a death sentence.

I have been in this place multiple times and I have always gotten great service. for those who don’t know if your dog has ( parvo ) you have to visit your dog and show them you want them to get better so they feel loved and fight to live. I had my puppy with parvo and I didn’t have the money and in good hearts they decide to still help me they took a risk and I paid every last cent back to them this can’t happen all the time so I thank god one of them said yes we will help. I had to leave my puppy there for almost a week I came every day before work and my boyfriend would be there everyday after he was off from work so we never left him alone I was in in the morning and he was there in The afternoon I feel that we played a part in his recovery too because he felt the love ❤️ and care for him from us and the vets.

I have taken all my pets that I have had to Dr. Santis. He is affordable compared to other places. I just went there yesterday, they did not give me any expired medication, for those who did I am sorry you did. But I been going there for years now and not have I had a bad experience there at all.

He deserved so much better then this horrible treatment from someone supposed to care about animals!! He wouldnt let me stay with him during his treatment. They last couple days we had together were the worst days of our lives. He (santi) should have said he couldnt help him, instead he lied!! He abused my special angel who had never done a bad thing his whole life. Kirby had never been away from me. Where I would go, Kirby went!! I taught Kirby sign language. He understood and listened when told to do or not do something. Kirby was my best friend!! The so called vet and his staff MURDERED HIM!!!! They charged me over $2000.00 to abuse and humiliate him. These are bad people who should be treated like they treated my special boy. NEVER TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!!!!! NEVER!!!!! It doesnt matter if they will see you for free, or discount your fee or anything else they say. These are rude, nasty, evil and abusive people who should never have had the privilege of meeting my Kirby. THEY KILLED HIM AND MADE HIM SUFFER FOR MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS!!!!! I hope they suffer every single day of their miserable lives just like they made my Kirby suffer!! I wish I could put them through what they put my baby through!! If I could give no stars, I would. I called to speak to the office manager about a possible interview, after a week later of leaving my resume at their door because they were closed. She was extremely rude, she asked why would you think were hiring?, Did I call you for an interview? in a tone that made it sound like Im an idiot for even leaving my resume and continued to call me unprofessional for simply following up on my resume. She could have simply said no, thank you. I dont understand why she was so insulted.

I been bringing my pets here for about 2 yrs now. They have such great service. My little girlJust had surgery here about 2 months ago. They went above in beyond with her care. I highly recommend this vet to everyone.

Do not take your pets here. My dog had to have his blood drawn and the Vet was digging around trying to find a vein!!!! My poor dog screamed in pain. Then he wanted to draw blood from his neck.. even his office manager came in and said no don’t do that. At that point I said no and left!!!! What kind of place is this!!!! I guarantee the good reviews are fake profiles created to offset all the negative reviews! Please do not take your parents to this NUT!

We got a puppy that had his ears cut already at this clinic. We took him back in to get the stitches removed. We brought him home and found they forgot some! We had a conversation with the vet about what would have happened if we didnt notice. He said the stitches would have cut his skin as he grew! And said I cant believe the other vet missed this! Well its a week later and we noticed more stitches already cutting into him as his ears heal. Im in sock.

I want to warn you they will try to rob you! I have brought several pets here over the years for convenience, BUT NO MORE! This time around my mother brought our little dog with one irritated eye. The Guy in the front literally threw the paper work, and told her to fill it without any explanation, and she asked him what it was and why, to which he responded he was too busy to explain, and walked off. My mother later heard the VET (the owner) scold him, and tell him to explain the paper work; which he did with an attitude.Later they administered only two eye drops in the dogs eye, and gave him a prescription for eye cream by the name of Vetrepolycin that they were charging $40.00 for. The Bill came up to $50.00, and my mom asked why so much, to which they responded, Because its $16.00 extra dollars for the eye drops we administered here. My mother brought up the fact that it was only two eye drops not the whole bottle and how could they charge nearly $20.00 for two eye drops. My mother asked them for the name of the eye cream, and they did not want to give it to her, because she was frustrated, and did not want them draining more money out of her.They told her that were not going to give her the name, because they dont do that, as the reason.I looked up that eye cream online, and it is $12.75, but in order for us to buy it they needed the Vet to fax in the prescription. I called the vet and the rudest Asian women you will ever meet was yelling on the phone we dont do that!! I said it is a simple request. I found another pharmacy that charges less, and I just need you to fax the script to which she responded The FAX Machine is broken Her unwillingness to help and the fact she was literally yelling lead to believe she was just saying the machine was broken, just to be difficult.It sickness me that they grossly overprice the medication to make a profit off poor people trying to pay to make their animals better. Luckily for our family we found a topical over the counter cream for the dogs eye and hes better. I do feel compelled to share my story to urge you guys to find another vet near by, and maybe they will start giving better service and stop charging ridiculously over the amount than other pharmacies charge for medication.

We have gone to him for over 20 years. He is very honest and will tell you your options not just tell you the most expensive price. He loves animals. We have sent many customers to him.

I drove all the way from avondale for my appointment at 2:45p, only to see that they are closed and wont be open until Monday, no one called me to say they will be closing their pet clinic today! Horrible customer service. Im taking my dogs elsewhere for their care! You just lost yourselves a customer.

Wish I could give 0 stars, take you’re Pets somewhere they actually care!!!

A few years back I took my pet here due to a growth in her abdomen. After an examination and bloodwork I was advised it was a tumor and needed to be removed. After taking her home she got worse and never recovered from whatever they did and passed away. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured it was from the tumor. 4 years later I take one of my other babies...due to a mass and polyps on her skin.. they take blood examined and advised she has a tumor and possibly gotten into a rose bush a total of $2,100.00 . Currently my baby is at a different pet hospital fighting for her life due an infection and possibly cancer that has spread from the surgery and a misdiagnosis!! This place is a rip off and could careless about your pets!! This was negligence!! BEWARE

All of the veterinarians are very knowledgeable and kind.

I brought my Monster Kitty here last week on Tuesday found out he had to have surgery. They were able to get him in the next morning for the surgery and I picked him up at 5pm the same day. I cant express how grateful I am to the Dr and staff for helping my ferbaby. He is acting like himself again A Monster😃. I would recommend bringing your pet to this vet. Also the office visit price was by far cheaper than anywhere else I found and that in itself was a huge deal for me. Thank you to the Dr and the staff for taking care of my Monster Kitty and me.

PLEASE EVERYONE take yours pets somewhere else, they will charge a lot so they can just guess what’s wrong with your pet, they thought my pet had pnuemonia at first cause we had her tested for parvo and turns out she didn’t have it, so we came back to the vet the next day to get her checked again and turns out her liver was failing so the veterinarian had prescribed medication for her, and we went back cause my pet was still not doing well and turns out she had parvo and it broke my heart and made me mad because my pet was in so much pain and I couldn’t go another day seeing her like that cause she was in so much pain and I was mad cause instead of helping her I was not helping her at all cause the veterinarian had prescribed the wrong medication that wasn’t helping her at all plus she was checked for parvo and I was told she didn’t have it at first but then she did, so we had her put down because we didn’t have they money to try and save her and we didn’t want her suffering because it was also to late cause her intestine had came out of her butt and she was throwing up badly, so PLEASE EVERYONE do me a favor and take your pet somewhere else where they’ll actually examine them well because they did not take not ex-rays or blood test or anything or do anything typical that a professional vet clinic would do, but just hear the heart and inside the body of my pet, it was hard losing mines and I wouldn’t want you guys going through the pain I went through of losing mine so PLEASE take your pets somewhere else instead cause this place ain’t it! (And if you don’t believe me pls do because if this never had happened I wouldn’t have been writing this review and informing everyone)

Took my dog in sick, the vet tested him for parvo he said he didnt have it. I pay $500 hundred dollars for medication and exams he made me do for him to see what he had..he ended up saying it was ammonia so he had me take my dog home, told me to come back in 3 days to see how it was doing...three days later I rush my dog back cause he was getting worst with diarrhea, vomit, and pooping blood. Turn out it was parvo all this time. And he still had the audacity to ask me if the dog was tested for parvo when thats the first thing the vet had check him for. Long story short my dog died cause he didnt know what my dog had even after testing him. I would never recommend this place to no one he kill my dog. And money that I could of used else where to save my dog.😣 My heart aches. No wonder it has bad reviews.

They deserve ZERO stars.PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HEREI made the mistake to go here. I wish I would have read some of the reviews before going. I was left perplexed at the unprofessional enviorment. The staff was very rude from the beginning and just got worse as the day went. We werent allowed to go into my great Danes room until we paid the $90 fee.(coming before my appointment). The lady judged us saying we would not pay if we paid 50 and before pick up 50. While another lady said they usually did the 50 50 plan.They wanted to charge an outrageous (upfront) amount for something we were doing at home. We decided to leave and treat him for parvo at home where he is immensely loved. He is now back to normal barking,eating,and being his goofy self. I cant stress enough, PLEASE dont bring your pets here.

I have been a proud customer for well over 20 years now. Dr. Santis has always treated my furkids with complete compassion and love! I drive from Surprise AZ because, hes the best!My dog lived to be 19 years.. A testimant to his ability as a veterinarian. My current dog is 7.. Cant say that she loves the Dr. As much as I do!I will continue to seek his knowledge and compassion as long as he continues to care for the animals like he does.

First the Vet I encountered was at least 80 years old and his idea of an exam was listening to my Dogs heartbeat. For the next 15 minutes he proceeded to tell me to take my dog to obedience school and get him neutered and it will fix his Rear Leg Dysplasia, Blindness & Aggression. WOW this man should retire and soon or he is going to sink that place fast. They only care about lining their pockets...RUN AWAY and if you LOVE your PET, stay away from Santis!!! They dont deserve a STAR at all! Disgusting!

We have been going there for years and get the best service. Have referred many friends when other vets can not properly diagnose their pets problems - Dr. Santis always figures it out and at a great value for the service.

This place sucks ass dude. The staff are really rude and they dont even care about your pets. They try to charge you for every little thing. The only care about money and not your pets. I recommend not to take your pets there.

The service is horrible all they want is money and dont care about animals, my puppy ending up getting parvo and they told me he needed treatment but didn’t give me hopes in him living and they are aslo expensive in the long run. Everything about this place is horrible do not recommend i only spent money on nothing.

This vet had to wack off my dogs tale twice because the first time the tail became infected, because they prescribed wrong antibiotics. Now, they have hired every grandchild they have to run the place and their prices are out of line and they always want to draw blood work.If you want a good vet, go to Dreaming Summit and see Dr Hildebrant. Cost is the same

This is my first review and I am honestly disappointed with my visit to this Vet. I later find out through co-workers that this is not the place to that your pet. Dr. did not exam my pet, just observed him and gave his diagnosis. No blood work, nor x-rays to assist with his diagnosis. I hear the prices are low to get customers in the doors. I got what I paid for !!!:(

Took my dog in Friday bcz she was vomiting. Dr Hugo Santibanez took a xray and found a long sharp object in my dogs stomach. He stated that my dog needed surgery asap. I booked appt for 6/11/18 for her surgery. They FAILED to retake new xray today before surgery was preformed. Dr Santibanez clearly stated that NOTHING was found in the stomach and intestines. For being a veterinarian he did NOT perform a professional procedure! He didnt put my dogs safety & wellness before the money. This place is very unprofessional and I dont recommend this place to one. I trusted my dogs life in his hands but took advantage of our innocence with his greed. Dr Santibanez just cut her up for !!No!! damn reason. What Dr performs surgery w out xrays,scans,bloodwork & vitals of any kind?!?! Dr Santibanez did with no hesitation!! His unprofessionalisim was going by the same xray he took Friday before surgery. I hired an attorney and will be filing a malpractice suit against DR Hugo Santibanez!!

My dog had an accident and the doctor recommended getting a 3k surgery and if we didnt do the surgery he would never be able to walk using that specific leg some time has passed and my dog is doing fine he runs and walks like a normal dog and we didnt pay 3k they just want your money🙄🙄🙄

Took my girlfriends dog there for shots. People were friendly and answered all of our questions. No long waits during the week.

HUGO WAS REALLY GENTLE WITH MY DOGS AND YOU CAN TELL HE REALLY CARES FOR THE ANIMALS AND DOESNT DO IT JUST TO GET MONEY OUT OF YOU...THE PLACE IS ALWAYS PRETTY BUSY SO SOMETIMES THERE IS A WAIT BUT THATS BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICES, THE LAST VET I WENT TO CHARGED $50 JUST FOR THE EXAM....THE STAFF WAS QUITE FRIENDLY AND I DIDNT KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT ANIMALS SO THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS.

I waited 1yr and 7month to post this review.. I brouth my Chihuahua here because she was sick.. They advise me that my dog had parvo.. I know what parvo was since i own 2 dogs...my dog did not have that.. They gave me a receive of how much it will cost. Funny thing the name of the patient and symptons and date were white out. They just added my name to it..im not stupid.. That right there was a red flag!! i couldnt afford it. So i left going with my gut something wasent right. My dog stil alive and healthy . she never had parvo!! They lied to me..

Very unprofessional! They do not care about our pets. Money is #1 prority for them! Do not take your pets here!!!! They dont cooperate with you at all. Like i said before they only care for money! Stay away from this place! Take this advice from me and all the other reviews. SAD

Dog Owners Beware! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Absolutely no one should bring any pet to this place, it is beyond baffling how they are still in business. This is part rant, all story, so bare with me.I originally had brought in my 4 month old puppy because he was lethargic and simply not eating. Not only was the service staff horrible (This one lady, older probably mid 30s-40s is the real kicker here) the Mushmouth Vet doesnt really seem to care for the dogs, they just treat them like cattle coming through. Anyway, I brought in my dog, dealt with the awful service, dropped around 100 bucks for a check up and flu medicine. Figures right? They told me to come back in two days if he doesnt get better, and theyll check him out for free. Well, he didnt. We went back with my dog in critical condition, and once again I was handled very poorly and the first thing they tried getting out of me was more money. So, after having to fight that I got my second check up for free, I waited a good hour before the doctor showed up. He did a simple diagnosis and took off for about 30 minutes again. Then comes in this lady (same one I told you about earlier) saying she didnt know they had patients waiting. Apparently, they were doing a video shoot for the place and she asked if I could leave and come back at 4 (I have work at two, its already 12:30). Im dumbfounded! I couldnt believe it, I had to explain to her I was already waiting for the Vet. The man finally decides to come back after I fight to not get kicked out. Now, heres where the fun really happens. The check up was free and theyd tell me theyd let me know if they would charge for whatever. The Vet runs a Parvo test on him, neglects to tell me the test alone is 40 dollars! After this same guy made a false diagnosis 2 days prior on this same dog! Confirms my original suspicions since Sunday that it is indeed Parvo and the staff tried strong arming me into paying after I told them I didnt have my wallet on me, after I already paid for flu medicine that wasnt going to do jack! Horrible service, just as horrible staff. Please, if you care about your pets at all, go anywhere but here. Thank you for reading.

I only ever had to take my 10yr old Pitbull for common shots. She developed a common ear hematoma. took her in for surgery. Her ear was not stitched, no drain was placed. the bandages were stapled to her skin. did not keep her overnight for observation. the hematoma came back in a week twice as worse the first time. paid a heavy price for this procedure. took my pit for second opinion and redo the surgery. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY TOUCH MY DOG HERE AGAIN!

Love the doctor very good and they have very good prices and affordable as well.

I cannot express how much I advise you not to go here, especially if the animal is in critical condition!!! 0 STARS!!!My family has visited this vet clinic a total of 3 times. The first dog (pug puppy) was sick, so we decided to bring her here considering its the closest vet to us. We had a checkup for her, the vet (who I assume is the only vet there, mr. santis) came to check up on her. But he didnt do much beside listen to her heartbeat, we paid money for a checkup/wellness exam which is quite expensive there. They then perform a parvo exam, 10 minutes later we get the results and she has parvo. Im absolutely gutted because this is a deadly illness for puppies. The vet then explains our options but he speaks so fast, slurs his words and doesnt even look at us. He also gave off an off vibe. My family would do anything to save our dog so we decide to have her treated here. The total cost for a 3 night stay plus treatment was $800+. Yea, that much. I was even more worried because I read the reviews for this place after we left my puppy there and I had a bad feeling cause of all the bad reviews. Im not sure how they take care of the dogs if they leave them there all by themselves at night. As I waiting for news about my puppys condition, the last day of her stay we find out she died early in the morning and I just cried. They told my mom that they were gonna cremate her, and they didnt ask for permission!!! They just cremated her and threw her ashes away. They said it was required by Arizona law to do so but I have yet to find any law here it says that they must cremate the dog. Very sketchy.Now for the 2nd dog. This one was also a pug puppy. We had for two weeks before she died, even though I resented this place my mom decided to take this dog to the vet to make sure she doesnt get parvo like the first dog. We get her the vaccines needed for a two month puppy. The round of first shots are done. We bought the puppy care package or something that was $160 and covered all the needed vaccines up until they were 5 months. Then all of a sudden she gets sick, one day she was fine the next day she doesnt even want to eat and throws up. We go the clinic to have her checked up on and guess what? We learn she has parvo too. (Take into account we got the puppy like 2 weeks after the first dog and cleaned our house and backyard thoroughly to prevent the illness still being in our house). Just great another one of our dogs has parvo but we seriously caught it before it got serious and early. Very early as to where she wasnt having diarrhea, so she had it about a day. We had to have her stay 3 days for treatment, but she stayed there for 5 days. The original cost was $720 for 3 days and treatment. So I keep calling each day to see if shes okay and they tell me shes stable. (When the assistant left the room for the check up, I took a peak at her report and saw the only bad thing was she was a little dehydrated). Literally for 4 days they tell me shes stable and I just cant wait to take her home, that is until Sunday comes. (Theyre closed on sundays) they call my mom and thats not good, but they dont say anything. We soon learn my puppy died on Sunday morning. Again Im absolutely gutted, we brought in two puppies that had an early cases of parvo, paid a lot of money for treatment and they both ended up dying. But notice how they both died in the morning, I can only imagine is that they just leave the dogs with IV fluids for the night while they suffer and fend for themselves. So with no one around to help those poor animals, they just give up and pass away. I genuinely do believe both of my puppies couldve lived if I went to a vet clinic that actually cared about the animals and not the money. I wouldnt be surprised if they let animals just die while taking money out of their owners. Due to them dying because of the horrible care this place offered, I will never have another pet for fear it will die of gross negligence. I beg of you to not go here for the sake of your wallet and for your animals life.

I have taken my dog to this clinic recommended by a family member . I thank Dr. santis for helping my pup out when I had a parvo scare. Thankfully, he didnt have parvo and prescribed my pup medications and he recovered very quickly! My Boxer is one happy and healthy pup! Thank you Dr. santis!

My dog had parvo and giardia and survived under their care without costing me an arm and a leg. I would recomend them to anyone very affordable compared to banfield pet hospital.

Stay away from santis pet clinic they are very bad. They act like they care for your loved one. All they care is to take as much money as they can from you. They leave pets to die slowly no one cares or watch the pets at night specially the entire weekend. My dog suffered for 4 days and finally we had to put him down and this people have no shame to tell you that you can problably take him home at the end of the day after they do more testing. Of course they want charge you as much as they can no matter the price even if the dog is not moving. Stay away fron this idiots that employee people that dont even have proper license to practice. Bad place go away from this idiots.

I took my dog here like around march 24 for a check up. they did not run blood test on her. turns out my dog was diabetic ! she passed away on 5/18. if they would’ve run blood test i would’ve knew my puppy was diabetic and got her the medicine she needed. i don’t recommend this vet.

The service they have at the front desk is Horrible!!!! I took my puppy with parvel and she only was there like 30 hours and she passed away😥😥 they charge us $600.00. Bad experience!😡😡😡😡
