We cannot thank Dr. Michael and his technician enough as they made our final moments with our beloved dog so much easier. They are empathic, caring, professional, respectful, and sensitive. They treated Bosco with tenderness, respect, and care as we said good-bye to him in our arms. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Fixler and the team were compassionate and professional during a very sad time. Every step of the process was explained on the phone as well as in person when they arrived. Nothing was rushed including the goodbyes. The courier service that returned the cremation two weeks later was respectful as well. Happy Endings came recommended from a friend and I hope I can in turn recommend to other pet parents. Worth the price.

A few weeks ago, my family made the tough decision to put down our beloved dog, Oz. At 12 years of age, and with a chronic medical condition (diabetes), we knew it was time. Oz had extreme anxiety going to a vets office and we didnt want him to be stressed in his final moments of life. We contacted Dr. Fixler at Happy Endings to provide him comfort from home as he crossed the rainbow bridge.Dr. Fixler and his assistant were so compassionate and understanding from the moment they arrived. They provided a blanket for him to lie on as Dr. Fixler examined Oz and reassured us that we were making the right decision. He gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, both as a group and individually, and provided us the space to do so. Once we were ready, Dr. Fixler wrapped Oz nicely in the blanket he was laying on and carried him gently outside. While life without Oz is incredibly different, were happy Dr. Fixler was with us to go through this process. A week after our appointment we receive a poem with a copy of Ozs footprint (attached), a lovely reminder of a special little dog. Thank you Dr. Fixler and team at Happy Endings.

Dr. Fixler is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, caring and compassionate vet. It was quite evident I wasnt ready for goodbye and wanted his assessment before making the big decision. He recommended we try meloxicam and see how my girl does - not a cure-all - but buys us more time. This is never easy - his approach, assessment and recommendation was thorough - looking forward to the additional time I am blessed to have with my girl. Thank you just doesnt seem adequate. I appreciate all the kindness and empathy you and your staff bestowed upon me when my emotions were erratic (at best). Thank you!

Dr. Fixler and his team were absolutely amazing. We were very emotional and they were compassionate, kind, quiet, and completely understanding. Dr. Fixler informed us what was happening every step of the way, put his hands on her as she passed, and helped us all love her until it was over. After giving us plenty of time to say our goodbyes and be with our girl, Dr. Fixler came back in the room, held her head gently so it wouldnt tip over and treated her with so much care and respect. This is one of the most painful things I have ever done and I am glad they were the ones there with us, allowing our 11 year old boxer to pass comfortably in her home.

Dr. Michael and an assistant came to our house to peacefully send our Yorkie Emma to the Rainbow Bridge. We are animal lovers to the core; our dogs are family. Emma was treated just like that.I have had to take several of our dogs to our vet to be put down, and I could see the added stress it out on them. To be able to have a vet come to our hone, in a comfortable setting for Emma was immensely reassuring. The care and compassion exuded by Dr. Michael was immeasurable.

I am overdue for leaving feedback on the caring and amazing staff at Happy Endings. There was almost nothing more stressful and heartbreaking than the decision to compassionately put our precious 18 year old toy poodle Princessa to sleep as she was deteriorating and our family knew that it was the time. When you love an animal with every ounce of your being for 18 years like a person, you also want that pet to not be in any pain. There is no decision that is harder than putting a pet down - especially layered on top of this Covid-19 pandemic. We didnt want it to happen in the cold of a vets office with us outside - especially now as we are all a bit sad these days. Princessa hated the vets office.I made a few inquiries to Happy Endings via phone back in mid March to understand their updated at-home process (with great follow-up by his staff) and I also did my homework online and it was apparent that their reviews and feedback were consistently positive. When the day came for sending our apricot baby to heaven (ugh), Dr. Fixler and his assistant arrived in PPE (N95 masks and gowns) and my family was masked so we all felt safe. We laid a nice blanket out on the lush green grass in our backyard under a shady tree.Dr. Fixler and his assistant Grace were in no rush whatsoever: They carefully explained and outlined, we were able to ask questions, we put some nice music on for Princessa (and us) and my wife and two daughters formed a circle of love around as he did his work with our baby cradled in my arms. They told us what to expect at each moment- and the process was as gentle and loving as we could have asked for. Our baby went to sleep - and there was no visible pain. We had all the time we wanted after to cry, say goodbye and reminisce over our familys memories from the time she was a puppy on forward. You cant fake compassion and genuine heartfelt caring - and that is what you get with Happy Endings. They know what they are doing and they do it with heart. Dr. Fixler and his crew are not just going through the motions to make their money and leave - they move at your pace, they move at your speed and they genuinely care. That means that even though (for us) this was a heart-wrenching experience, it was also positive experience as we knew afterwards (even with so many tears) that we really did the humane and loving thing for our most beloved member of the family. We cannot recommend Dr. Fixler and Happy Endings more highly - they are the best at what they do & have the procedures - medications - dosages. I believe there is an artistry to knowing the correct/ideal anesthesia and medications, so that there are no unwelcome surprises whatsoever - and that is where Dr. Fixler and his crew go the extra mile. But what really takes them to a different level is the compassion they show to your pet and your family at a stressful time. They are #1 in their field locally - and we would not hesitate to use them again if needed. Hopefully it will be 18 years before we need them again, but I know others reading this will be in the best and most caring hands when and if you should need their services.Hugs to Dr. Fixler and his incredible team. Thank you for being there for us when we needed you most

When our friend, Mooshu, began to pass, our only concern was to make sure she went on in peace and without any pain. I was terrified that she would suffer, or feel scared in any way, and honestly, as painful as it was to see her go, Im grateful to be able to say with certainly that we were the only ones to suffer her loss. With the help of the technicians, who were incredibly respectful and professional, we were able to lay her to rest in a way that Im sure without their help would have been impossible. It would have broken me to see my friend feel any pain, but thankfully, she simply fell asleep and passed on to a wonderful new dream. Wow!! Choose these wonderful people to share your last moments with your canine family. We had to put our old Pitt down from heart failure. We were devastated and couldn’t bare to say goodbye in a cold sterile vets office as much as we love our vet. We didn’t want our other dogs to get confused and most importantly didn’t want Roxy our Beloved family member to know what happened or be scared. We searched around and found Happy Endings. This was our first in home euthanasia. No idea what to expect. They were absolutely the best choice. They were friendly and respectful and allowed us time to grieve and cry and hug our baby before during and after she passed away. They were kind with her and she whom I might add is terrified of strangers, didn’t even notice the IV placement. She knew they were good people. Better than nurses and doctors for people even. They communicated tons and we knew what to expect. Roxy was delivered in the kindest packaging with her ashes in a beautiful wood box urn. Custom name and phrasing. A lovely letter and her paw print with the rainbow bridge poem, carefully packaged as well. It was as kind, thoughtful, tactful and and as warm as you could ask from beginning when you call, to the day your baby comes back if you choose to cremate. Great job Happy Endings! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for gracing us with such kindness. Your efforts made all the difference in the world. Sadly if our other fur babies ever need you, we will call you again without a second thought. You have a tough job and do it elegantly. We appreciate you.

She was reaching 15yrs old and was extremely handicapped due to tumors, hip and knee issues, and overall pain. This service was so important because it ensured that we would not have to pick her up and place her in the car, which would have been extremely painful. They saved us the dreaded trip to the vet where she would have been stressed by animals crying and barking. God love her, she even picked her own spot to lay down (in front of the couch), got comfortable, and allowed the doctor and his assistant to administer to her without a fight or grumble. We are so very grateful to Dr. Fixler and his staff for the caring and humane service they provided. The comfort in having our boy go peacefully at home with all of his family by his side was a true gift to all of us. We miss him dearly. Thank you so very much for being there in our time of need.

Dr Fixler and his staff were so very compassionate and comforting at what is for all pet lovers a most difficult time. They showed amazing professionalism and have taken all end of life needs into account to make this one seamless phone call to handle all aspects of saying good bye to your best friends. Your dedication is much appreciated.

Great Service. Totally worth it. This was my first time with in-house dog euthanasia having always taken cats to a great vet. I have three other dogs. Kanga was relaxed at home the whole time. After he passed the other dogs sniffed him in a way they never had done before and then went on their way. I know it helped Kanga and I firmly believe it helped his pack. Alicia was so compassionate when making the appointment and Dr. Michael and his assistant were wonderful in the home.

Putting down my Little Peanut, a chinese pug, was literally the hardest thing I had to do in recent memory. She was playing and in such a good mood that morning, and truly loving more so than usual. Dr Fixler upon arrival was compassionate and explained in detail everything that would happen which I appreciated greatly. Peanut left without pain and with diginity. This was the first time I had ever done an in home euthenasia and it was definitely the right choice for me and my Peanut. I very much reccommend their services to those who truly love their little furry friends. On a even more personal note, I would like you, Dr Fixler, to know that I appreciated your examination and comments of Peanut and showing the utmost respect to me in my vulnerable state. I really dont know how you do this service but is must be grounded in a truly spirtual and kind man. Thank you so much.

Happy Endings In-Home Pet Euthanasia, I am in complete loss for words. I have never felt so cheated in my life! I received my little Kung Fus ashes and I wish I never use their services. For my memory sake the only paw print I have of my Sallys existence is on cheap cloud printed paper, with an obnoxious word art rainbow, with her name in distasteful font, and her paw print smudged. Seemed more like an advertisement for company than a keepsake with your logo on the paper. You took something that can never be fixed or replaced and I am so heartbroken even more for the loss of my dog, Sally.

Our Cavalier Spaniel Shadoh had a squamous cell carcinoma that was growing into his nasal cavity and due to excessive bleeding, it was unfortunately his time to go. Dr. Fixler and his assistant showed us a lot of compassion and really made the whole process easier for us compared to bringing him to the vet. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone else going through this process.

They are absolutely incredible. I dont know what I would have done without Dr. Fixler and his wife. My precious dog has had osteosarcoma for about a year, had her right leg amputated, and was doing well for almost a year. Then, the cancer metastasized to her skin (very unusual; bony tumors that you could feel underneath the skin), and to her lungs (although she never coughed or was short of breath), and she was heaving weakness in her remaining hind leg that made it difficult for her to get up, and even to walk. Despite that, she was still eating and drinking, and still her sweet, attentive self. With absolutely no warning, yesterday morning she had several successive seizures, and I was alone at my house, with no car, at 4:45 in the morning, and my baby girl wouldnt stop having these horrifying seizures. I knew it was time for her to go. My sister called everyone she could, but all the 24 hour places werent answering, but when she called Happy Endings, they actually answered. When they came over, they were SO kind to me, they didnt act like I was putting them out or causing them a fuss at all. They were very gentle and comforting, and I honestly dont know what I would have done without them. I didnt want my baby girl to pass away due to a horrible seizure. Happy Endings made sure she didnt. If you have a dog that you know is nearing the end of their road, Happy Endings is a great option. Seriously, I cannot thank them enough for being there for my girl and me. THANK YOU!!!

IN MEMORY OF SANDY DAY 12/16/98-7/29/2013...I cant begin to express the Gratitude that my family and I feel for Dr. Michael Fixler. He and his Assistant came to my home and helped us GET THROUGH one of the HARDEST DAYS of Our Lives by putting our 14 1/2 year old dog, Sandy, to Sleep in such a LOVING, COMFORTABLE Way...By having Sandy pass away at HER OWN HOME...in HER OWN LIVING ROOM, with us around her and everything FAMILIAR to her, gave us such peace that we couldnt have had if we had it done in a cold office...with other animals barking and stressful noises. I would Recommend this Service to anyone who is struggling with having to make this VERY DIFFICULT Decision..It reminded me of HOSPICE CARE in a way...only for Animals...Where they are made COMFORTABLE and Loved...right to the end....THANK YOU Dr. Fixler for your KIND, LOVING Gift you helped us Give to OUR SANDY.....Paulette & Ron Day...Gilbert, AZ........

Sending your pet to the Rainbow Bridge is never an easy decision let alone task, but Dr. Fixler and his team will get you through it—one step at a time. The entire service is top notch and professional. The initial phone call, the house visit, the package in the mail—they truly take care of everything. Dr. Fixler and his team arrived and explained the entire process, what to expect, and next steps. He was very accommodating-- allowing me to hold my fur baby until his last breath. He and his assistant stepped outside, giving us some final moments with our beloved cat. We let our dogs come in and sniff Tiger, so they knew he was no longer part of their pack (recommended by Dr. Fixler). After we said goodbye, we received his paw print in the mail shortly thereafter. (there is also an option to keep the cremation remains). This service is just wonderful. Because they come to you, you have the comforts of your home which is less stressful for you and your pet. I highly recommend Dr. Fixler and his team.

This experience made putting our beloved Lucy down the best experience it could be, given the circumstances. Dr. Fixler was amazing. He was kind and willing to give us all the time we needed with Lucy. He also allowed time for our dogs to come in after she was put to rest so that they could understand that she was gone. Putting your dog down is never an easy thing to do, but being able to let Lucy go so peacefully in the comfort of her own home was a good feeling. Dr. Fixler also did a wonderful job of educating us through the whole process as well as comforting us.I dont write reviews often, but dogs our such an important part of our lives and I want everyone going through this difficult situation to know that I would highly recommend in-home euthanasia and Dr. Fixler himself.

It is such a difficult choice knowing when the right time it is to say goodbye to a friend, a pal, your ever companion, your pet. I promised Daisy as she aged (20+ years old) that I would not wait and have her suffer, She was demonstrating all of the signs of nearing the end and it was time to say goodbye. I called Happy Endings because I wanted my dear Daisy to be as comfortable as possible (I mean she was 110 yr. old in human years.) We had her on her favorite tempurpedic sheepskin dog bed and they draped a nice blue cloth underneath her. I had already been made aware of the procedure and cannot say enough about the blessing of having family around the pet all stroking her, saying kind words, and saying goodbye. Afterwards, our two other dogs came over and actually tried to nudge her. They throughly sniffed her and then slowly walked away. Dr. Fixler could not have been more attentive or kind as he went about his tasks. I dont think he could have been nicer to his own dog. My family will miss Daisy terribly, but knowing she had no fear as she passed away was worth the cost. I would recommend Happy Endings to anyone who is experiencing the final days of a pets life.- A Neighbor in 85032

So glad we made the decision to have Dr. Fixler and his staff come to the house when we had to say goodbye to Kody, our 16 yr old husky/australian shepherd mix. Our boy lived a long, happy life and spent the last few minutes of his life in the comfort of his own home. The staff is very empathetic and Dr. Fixler and his assistant treated my boy as if he was their own. Thank you for making this decision as easy as possible. I would highly recommend Happy Endings to anyone faced with having to send their animal to the Rainbow Bridge. I hope Kody is running free with his sister now....Karen and Scott Green

Im not sure that someone could say they love this experience, but i can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that Dr. Fixler and his assistant truly love animals and want them to leave this world in complete peace. I happened upon Dr. Fixler from an article in the Phoenix Dog Magazine. I was faces with the horrendous decision of how, where and when i should say goodbye to my beloved 11 year old Rottweiler, Hades. While reading an article about the celebration of life, and Happy Endings, I found that Dr. Fixler also had a Rottweiler named Hades who was the reason for Dr. Fixler to start Happy Endings. I believe that was my sign as to what i should do. If i would have known about Dr. Fixler and his caring and empathetic love of animals the decision would have been easier. Dr. Fixler is a one-of-a-kind person. He made me feel better about my decision by giving me his professional opinion of Hades health. He also advised me on how i should handle Hades son, Thor, who is also a member of my family I was concerned about how Thor would react and if Thor should be allowed to be in the room while Hades went to sleep. Dr. Fixler explained that it was best for Thor to have time with Hades after he passed and that we didnt need to put in in another room, or lock him away from the celebration. I will never take one of my furbabies to a cold veterinarian office to leave this earth. The care and consideration that Dr. Fixler took for my fur family as well as my human family was unequaled. Dr. Fixler truly loves animals. He will treat your fur baby as well as he treated mine, with the respect and love that they deserve.Thank you again Dr. Fixler for helping us say goodbye

After having our Rottweiler named Riker for 10 years his health had progressed to the point that he was taking close to 16 pain pills a day and he developed a couple of more health issues. I hated to see him suffer and taking a 150 pound dog who hated riding in a car and hated the vet didnt seem to be a good option. I called Dr. Fixlers office and spoke to one of the ladies there who was very nice I scheduled the appointment for last Friday. Dr. Fixler told me he had 3 Rotties at home and he was a big fan of the breed which made me feel like I had called the right guy.... It took a couple of injections but Riker finally relaxed and went to sleep, the process lasted 30 minutes and it was over Dr. Fixler and his assistant were great very friendly and very comforting although it was much tougher than I expected it was the right thing to do. Thank you Dr. Fixler you and your staff are very professional and you really do care about what youre doing and I really appreciate what you did for us.I dont normally write reviews but this outfit is top notch and I have to say 5 stars to them...........
