I’ve gotten haircuts here for over 4 years now and he is the best barber around. I’ve gone to many different shops throughout my lifetime but have never been committed to just one. He has cut my hair, my wife’s hair and I’ve seen him cut kids hair. My haircut always comes out perfect and I’ve never had a bad experience. Kadhim was friendly and makes it a point to make sure what you want aka. being specific. Mine was a beard trim and later realizing I needed a neck trim as well. Atmosphere was relaxing, music playing, only person in the establishment. Payment is cash only, so be prepared. Reasonably priced. Actually the neck trim was comped ($5). Made sure I was satisfied before leaving.

Great Barber!!! My boyfriend goes here to get his hair cut. Very talented and takes his time with every customer. We love that he does quick pay (Zelle) for payment.

The best haircut I have had in a long time. The place was clean and had great music playing. Khadim was very professional and paid an extreme amount of detail towards my cut. Watching him cut my hair and clean up the part in my hair was like watching a Michelin starred chef plate a dish. Absolutely would return again

Great hair cut right here in my neighborhood! I stopped in last week for the first time because I needed a haircut and this was close to my home and I got the best haircut Ive had in a long time. Ive been trying different shops around town and just could not get a good haircut. But at Artistic Barbershop, you just know when you get out of the barber chair that you got a good haircut. I will be returning here again. This is my new barber, and best of all, I can walk here.

I have been a customer for 2 years and Khadim ALWAYS does a great job! Khadim works with all hair textures, and he does haircuts for men, women, and children. The shop recently reopened, after the mandatory COVID-19 closures, and I got an appointment right away.

My son is 11 months and got his first haircut here And the barber was so nice and patient with him. My son would move and the barber made sure he was careful while cutting his hair. Really good barber and nice.

Where should I begin?My husband has had his hair cut at Artistic Barber Shop for years. I’d always been impressed by the terrific job done on his hair. So, I’ve now been twice and am thoroughly ecstatic about the high quality and professionalism demonstrated.(I’ve thick, wavy hair and the only comparable cuts were in La Jolla and Chicago years ago). The atmosphere is welcoming and, best of all, I’ve received many, many compliments on my new hairstyle.

Excellent haircut! My favorite around—and I’ve tried a number of different places. The outside of the shop may throw you off but the inside is clean and proffesional. He is kind and a good conversationalist as well.

Artistic barbershop was a nice experience. The barber was kind and patient. He took his time on my haircut. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I left happy and satisfied. The overall experience was good.

This place just wasn’t for me. I was not impressed as a first time customer. $30For a haircut and beard trim I expected a bit more service like a hot towel and sharpening up the lines on my beard with the razor. I guess that costs much more ? What I got I could have easily done at home myself and next time I will. The one thing I did appreciate was an eyebrow trim without having to ask. Not saying this place is awful but Personally I find other places offer much more service for a cheaper price.

Ive got my hair cut by Kadhim since I was 10 years old, and now at 20 I still drive all the way up from Tucson for his excellent service. Hes moved around the valley, and me and my Dad have always gone wherever he works. He is exceptionally passionate about his work, and Ive never been disappointed, nor has my Mom. Truly the best hair cut in Arizona!

Kadhim is amazing Barber!!! I have been going to him for over 3 years now and love his costumer service. Not only can you make appointments but you can walk in anytime and he will quickly fits you in. I like to go at lunch time and he gets me in and out fast enough to still grab a bite. if you work in the down town area Artistic Barber is a must go.

Great experience for many years now! I’ve been a customer since this barber shop was originally established at 7th Avenue and Thomas and at 43rd Avenue and now finally at 3rd street and Osborn Rd. No matter where, I’ve had nothing but excellent customer service! Kazem The barbers is very sociable and welcoming and quite philosophical in his manner and conversations. Reasonable pricing! I have seen patronized, top of line barber charging far more for the same service. This shop takes into account the most reasonable cost for the service provided to the customer while also compensating him for the well deserved work. Great job! Keep up the good work. 3 years ago I was wandering around needing a haircut badly, and I came across artistic barber shop. Kadhim was very nice and professional, took his time with my cut and made sure I left satisfied with my hair, even with a limited amount of cash he helped me out. Ive been going to Artistic Barber Shop since I found it two years ago. I havent even considered going anywhere else. I initially went because the shop was open later than a lot of other places in the area. I kept going because Ive always loved the way I look when I leave.

For me, it is convenient, quick and close to work. Khadim is friendly and is a true professional. I highly recommend him if you live or work in this area. You wont be disappointed! 😀

Kadeem is an excellent barber and this is a great shop. He is attentive, still uses a straight edge razor to give you that ultra crisp look, and the conversation with him is just as good. If you are anywhere near central Phoenix be sure to give him a try. Right on 3rd Street near Osborn.

He came to this country with a deep interest in the varied culture of the American people, and we have had many wonderful conversations about literature and the visual arts. Save yourself the time, dont come here. 2nd time I have come and he has argued with me both times. Didnt give me what I asked for, gave me some weird bangs and then said that a simple fade wouldnt work because texture. I wanted to give him another chance because I am all for local business and not making assumptions, but goodness why is he arguing with people. A simple apology is that too much? I know that he is going to respind to this but I dont care if he wants to argue: learn to say sorry there was a misunderstanding. Also... I can guarantee you the 5 star reviews for the most are fake, only 1 or a few review of the other places from those accounts and the ones with more reviews are all lower star.

I Love this place and I’m never disappointed. One of the best barbers in the valley.

It was a Sunday afternoon and all the barber shops near me were closed. I searched online and came across Artistic Barber Shop and learned it was open 7 days a week open late, most days until 7pm. I headed over & met Kadhim. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my cut, and he created a masterpiece. Kadhim exemplifies attention to detail and he takes his time to make sure the cut is perfect. Not to mention he washes your hair before the cut & plays the amazing Frank Sinatra while cutting your mane. I happened to randomly come across Kadhim and his barber shop and have been coming here ever since, he is an excellent barber and is very friendly. He makes sure you are comfortable and ensures you are satisfied with the cut. Theres a reason he has copious regular customers & excellent reviews - the best barber in town hands down.

I have known Kadhim for at least six years. Before that I was struggling to find a decent barber. I was happy to find him, since he is the best barber in town. Very professional. When I was there for a haircut, I met other professional people. So I guess Im not the only one appreciating Kadhim.

Not the best experience and not what I want personally in a barber. I sit down and start talking to him (as everyone does with their barber) and he is very short with me and eventually tells me these questions don’t matter and he needs to focus on haircut and would prefer if we didn’t talk. So I sat there the next 45 minutes in silence feeling as a hostage. My gf starts calling me, for my birthday dinner that was in an hour, and out of fear of hostility I ignore the call. She calls a third time and so I answer, and just as I expected, he gets upset that I answer my phone. At the end, he informs me cash only, yet I didn’t see a sign on the front that states cash only (I didn’t necessarily look) and tells me of near by atms (hmmm it’s like this has happened before to him, maybe you should tell people) so I have to run to a gas station to get money to pay this guy. Won’t be back here, I don’t enjoy the hostility while getting a haircut. Haircut was fine, but not worth the other issues.

Its a great haircut and a nice beard trim with a disinfected straight razor. I am a student at Northern Arizona university, and I come from Flagstaff all the way here to Phoenix to get a haircut, because the barber does exactly what I want.

I called after 5 on a Saturday and he was willing to stay to give me a cut. Great guy and gives really good fades too.

Kadhim is a great barber, he has an eye for detail. I get my haircut fairly irregular so whenever I stop in to Artistic Barbershop, Kadhim is put to work cleaning up my my hair, lining up my beard which he does a fantastic job using clippers and straight razor. If I didn’t live so far I would certainly see Kadhim more often.

Worse haircut I’ve ever had. I have a pretty straight forward haircut and the guy just doesnt seem to know what he’s doing. On top of it, he’s rude. I don’t know where these other reviews came from or maybe this is someone new but it was an awful experience. The entire time I was here no one else came which leads me to not believe the other reviews. Don’t come here - just plain awful.

I started going to Kadhim when he was on 7th Avenue around 2007. I would take my son with me to get our haircuts. Kadhim has always given us consistently great haircuts. He has always taken the time necessary to complete a very professional haircut. My wife is always very happy with my sons and my haircuts. Additionally, when I have gotten haircuts from Kadhim prior to special events and job interviews (like last Sunday), I have always looked my best at the job interviews and have gotten the job, too! Over the years, Kadhim has become our friend and I would highly recommend him for your next haircut.

He asked once what I thought I asked him for a low fade for my son and he combed his hair to the side, he was rude once he was done he asked me what I thought so I told him it was the worst cut my son has ever had he said it was my opinion, maybe he shouldnt have asked me. He told me to leave while I was handing him his money I still paid him for his time..where do u see a fade?. Side burns where off hair uneven not sure where the other reviews come from maybe it just wasnt his day today
