A barber is expected to know what a haircut is when they ask you what you want. When you tell them and they lie saying they understand and then proceed to give you a bowl cut I was not happy to say the least. Had to have them just shave the rest of my hair that took over a year to get it where it was because of the rat nest they left on my head. If you dont know what an undercut is, which is also worrisome as its quite a popular style, then just say so. Extremely unprofessional, I regret spending my money. I now understand why it was empty.

I’ve been going to this location almost exclusively for years and they do really great work. I recommend either one of the barbers here as they’ve both cut my hair equally well.

I know he’s a skilled barber as I can’t just go to any barber for a good haircut due to the type of hair I have, but Edward does an amazing job!!! Highly recommend.

I just don’t understand the people who gives them one star review probably a scam.The barbers are the pro from New York they know all types of haircuts any fades, ethnic hair, scissors cuts, hot shaves anything you name they will do. They are complying with all the codes that CDC required all the barbers are wearing masks and social distancing very clean place . Great service and great price. Always a good experience with Edward, I have been going to the shop for about 5+ years. My cut is always perfect, every week I see him. The shop is clean, neat, and follows COVID protocols. A+ shop!

Usually go there a few times a year as close by but have been jittery since COVID to get a haircut anywhere and this experience is reason why. Went today, no one in there. The barber, an older man, took me right away and had a mask on but of course, as is the new look, had it pretty much below the nose. The owner, was in a customer waiting seat maybe 5 or 6 feet from seat I sat in the barber chair and had NO mask on making for an unsettling haircut. About 10 minutes in, two gentleman walk in but I think only one was getting a haircut as they may be friends. The one not getting the haircut took a seat close toMe with a mask but the one getting a haircut took an seat in the barber chair right next to me and proceeded to get a cut from the owner. The owner had a face shield on for the cut but the customer did not wear any mask at all and they were in the barber seat next to me when the place was empty and they could have used a barber chair further from me. No one really follows the mask rules or distancing and it is sad for those of us who care about our lives. Place should not be open if can’t comply but I see it all over. Esporta gym I go to has members with masks below the nose and no employees enforcing but instead, like the owner of this barber shop, just playing on their phones. People need to get on the AZ Dept Public Health site and file complaints and maybe they will do something about businesses and customers who don’t care.

Ive been getting my hair cut here for years. Great place with a perfectly reasonable price. These gentlemen do a great job every time and take pride in their work. I know I will get what I came in for and will leave with a fantastic fade. I enjoy the ambiance as well, quiet and old school with very comfy barber chairs.

Best bang for your buck in the valley!This barber shop is a family affair, started by the father and ably cared for and managed by his two sons. The shop is reminiscent of an old time establishment, but the barbers are able to provide modern, cutting-edge haircuts according to an individual’s desire. Schedules are on a first-come, first-served basis and the waits are usually not long. I have been patronizing this establishment for years, a testament to my satisfaction. Edward always takes care of me, but his brother has clients who seem equally satisfied with him.

My sons are in their early 20s and are very particular about the appearance of their hair as am I. The barbers at Paradise Valley Barber Shop do an outstanding job.

The shop is always clean and Eddie always takes of me when I need a haircut. It is located in a shopping center where I can grab a slice of pizza next door, and drop off / pick up any dry cleaning I need to take care. Great place for a razor fade, beard trim or just a touch off the top!

Ive been going to PV Barber Shop since it was located on the southwestcorner of Tatum and Shea. I was quite concerned when it moved to its current location, however my experience with the current owners has been nothing short of excellent. The quality of my haircut has always been great and I never have to hear the boring, canned conversations typical of other hair cutting establishments. Its nice not to dread a visit to have my haircut. The addition of the shoulder massage, while not expected, was a welcome addition to the experience. I wish PV Barber Shop continued well deserved success!

I can give it 2 stars since it wasnt just a bad haircut that was cut too short. So I can at least go somewhere else to be able to even out what my head was left like.Guessing this was why the barber only showed me the right side of the back of my head.Pretty funny reply business owner. Dont know who you think I am but I never gave you a picture to base the haircut off of. Now you get one star for being an angry person.
