I wrote a review before, I guess it got deleted. Beware when you move in here. The community is slowly becoming more and more like the images shown below. It isnt fair to the maintenance team who does a lot for this building and the payback is some of the residents trash the place.MOVE IN AT YOUR OWN RISK. I am not saying this is everyone’s experience but this location is close to downtown and not in the safest area anymore.Outside of all this however I can at least say the maintenance team is great, they keep things clean and are usually quick to fix issues.

Reasonably priced, decent place to live. However, watch out for all the homeless as there is a shelter on the side street and they seem to gather there everyday.Depending on which way you are facing, you may hear them shouting and singing middle of the night.Management has been so-so, if you have any concerns, it may take them days or weeks to fix. When we stayed there, it took them 3 weeks to finally bring us a new dryer and all we got was just a verbal thank you for your patience. The maintenance team is super nice and hard at work to keep the place tidy but watch out for dog poos. No matter how hard they try, residents do not pick up after themselves at all.Upon move out, watch out for penny pinching. They will find any way possible to charge you for things you didnt think should be charged. When we moved in, blinds were already broken and never fixed but they charged us for that at the end as an example. They will also not do the move out inspection with you, but do it on their own time by themselves so you have no way of defending yourself at all. There are better places in the are to live for the same price.

Management at Mozaic is fantastic! I’ve been touring downtown Phoenix apartments for a while, and my experience at Mozaic has been more than exceptional. I have specifically spoken with Anthony and Eddie, and both have been tremendously helpful, kind, and informative. I feel like every place I went to people said that they love the property but hate the management; refreshing to say that in addition to a lovely property, management has made an equally wonderful impression!

Lived here for about a year. Overall had a good experience! Management was friendly, costs were upfront, and the complex was maintained fairly well. Annette and Monica helped me through the pandemic and answered all my questions. Individual experiences may vary but my building was pretty quiet and I had no noise complaints even during weekends. Having assigned covered parking and a close location was also a big plus. Id still be living there if my household size hadnt grown! Highly recommend this place!

I have lived here for 2 years. Overall it is a nice place to live and a good central location. The only thing I would say is maintenance tends to take a week or so to come to your apartment and assess the problem after submitting a work order. They have always fixed any issues that come up.

VERY OLD APPLIANCES THAT are never properly fixed. Been trying to get my dryer replaced for last 3 months. Everytime the maintenance man come they either halfway fix the issue or make things WORSE.. It got to the point where i jus do laundry down the street. This is their 4th time coming here to work on the dryer. You would think with all the money i pay in rent I could get a HALFWAY DECENT DRYER, lets not even get on the inadequacies of the stove that turns up all the way even when you have it on low.. Call the people in the office but all i get is the run around.. They say this place should be luxury apartment but there is nothing luxurious about these appliances.

I was so excited when I found Mozaic! Bernadette made the process fun and seamless. I have loved being in my apartment for the last 2 weeks. I would recommend Mozaic to anyone looking for affordable, yet very clean and well kept apartments. The parking structure makes it so nice with the covered parking, and there is an abundance of visitor parking which you don’t find at many other apartments. The pools and fitness center are a great bonus. You won’t regret choosing Mozaic At Steele Park!

First of all, I’ve lived in 3 different complexes in the past 3 years and this is the only review I’ve left after moving out. This apartment complex should not be priced this high when the quality of living is not what is advertised.I moved here with my roommate in January 2020 and it all seemed great until our electric bill was over $400 due to bad insulation within the apartment. Dryer that would take 4 cycles to properly dry clothes. Dirty hallways and loosely enforced “regulations” and not to mention the bad security issue this complex has. To the extent of police vacating the building due to an unknown reason.A few months ago four police officers with guns drawn, were trying to get into the apartment next to ours. They told us that we had to leave for at least 2 hours. When I tried to come back later that night they were still there so I had to figure something out to spend the night somewhere else!!!Did the managers/front office ever communicate with the residents about the issue? NO! Not an email, not a call, nothing! Just like another normal day just had passed, they never communicated anything. So if you’re looking to live here, I would say, don’t but you can make your own decision. Here’s another reason that will hopefully help you make a decision before moving. Besides being overpriced, this complex slams you with ridiculous fees at move out, they make sure you know you need a PROFESSIONAL carpet cleaning service at move out, and a PROFESSIONAL cleaning service, these both have to be approved by them, so be ready to spend about $300+ during move out! Still don’t know if we’ll be slammed with other fees after we leave the apartment spotless. That would be the cherry on top of the cake. :)If this complex wants to advertise “comfort, care and convenience” like they do in several apartment finder apps/websites, they have a long way to go. If they want to advertise their “attractive community features” make sure they are what you’re advertising. Don’t fall for their high prices when they’re SEVERAL apartments around the same area that are 1000% better than what this place is offering.Edit:Forgot to mention! My mail would get stolen ALL RHE TIME :)

I have lived here for the past 3 months with my 2 dogs and absolutely love it. I moved here from out of state and the staff made sure all my questions and paperwork were taking care of by email and phone and I was well-informed of all the processes. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept - there is a lot of vegetation and trees for shade. I love my covered balcony! I eat all my meals outside and the dogs love watching the cars go by. My unit is on a corner with A LOT of natural light and has views to downtown and the mountains.Location of the complex is amazing - were right between the 17 and 51 highways and a 10min walk to the light rail which will take you downtown in 15min.The two pools are nice - when the main one gets busy you can always go to the smaller one if you prefer something a little quieter an shadier.Maintenance needs are taken care of in a timely manner and you can submit and track the process online or through the app. All of the staff like Jordan and Isaiah are extremely friendly and my dogs love when I take them with me to the leasing office to pick up my packages because there are always treats waiting for them.Have I mentioned how dog-friendly this place is? There are even little stations throughout the complex with poop bags and trash cans to make clean-up a breeze (though some tenants are unfortunately not making full use of them).I live on the 3rd floor and having the garbage chute in the garage has been so helpful - no more dragging trash bags down the stairs! The demographic of tenants is quite diverse - families, young people, old people, all ethnicities, etc - and it really does feel like a little community. Everyone says hi and smiles at you and living at Mozaic has been like a little vacation every day and I hope to stay here a long time.

I lived at Mozaic for 2 years. It was my first and only apartment and I’m so glad I made the choice! It’s quiet and clean and you don’t have to worry about people stealing packages if you do have them left at your front door. The only con I would say is the parking garage is a little dangerous to navigate because when turning in the corners there is no way to see who is coming because the first floor mirror was always broken. If they can find a way to fix that I think it would avoid those people who used to fly down and make sharp turns causing to almost hit the cars parked in the corners or coming to a sudden stop. Other than that the staff is friendly and the pools were nice when they were available for use before Covid. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a safe, nice and quiet apartment for a decent price.

Absolutely loved living here. I was a resident at Mozaic for 3 years and had a great experience. I had very little maintenance issues, when I did they were quick to come out and take care of the problem. I loved the parking garage! It was great to have my new truck completely out of the weather! I didnt use the pool or gym much at all, but when I went by them, they were always clean. Its a great location for a decent price. Having the park across the street is awesome, not to mention the few parades that go directly by the complex that you get to just walk out your door too. The only reason I left was because I bought a house. Otherwise I would have continued to stay there. I would recommend Mozaic to my family and friends. Actually, I did have two friends that moved into the complex that are still there.

Steep Penalties and Charges but Decent community.I lived here for 6 months. I was certain that I specified a short lease was wanted, but when I went to move out at what I assumed was the end of my lease I found out that I signed a year lease. My fault for not reading more closely and I payed a steep price for that-Like a LOT. So read your stuff carefully and dont be in a hurry to get into your place.I also recommend taking a video, pictures, etc, while moving in as you will most undoubtedly be charged for carpet and paint. Again I lived there for 6 months, never hanged a single thing on the walls, and had the carpets professionally cleaned when I left. Still charges. My fault for not taking pictures.Office staff are really good at hiding the fact that theyd rather not get your package for you because UPS and FedEx deliver to the front office and you can only pick up your packages at certain times. Cant blame them because its usually when they are trying to close for the day.Its a decent place to live, the pool is nice, and the apartments are on the smaller size of modest, but neighbors are nice and you feel safe despite the number of homeless walking around. I wouldnt recommend against it or for it. I give my experience a C+

I was very disappointed by the way I was treated by this apartment complex after having lived here for two years it was extremely sad that our experience had to end the way that it did. When our water heater busted, they took almost three weeks to replace it, even though we were taking freezing showers, we forgave this and decided to continue with Mozaic. The straw that broke the camels back is when we were moving out. DO NOT expect to get any of your deposit back! They will keep it all and then try to charge you more on top of that. Even though the apartment was left spotless, we were told that the cost of shampooing the carpet and getting the apartment cleaned (mind you this apartment was literally cleaned top to bottom and vacuumed, there was not a single stain on the floor) would be coming out of our deposit. If you are moving in or out of here just be sure to take a ton of photos and thoroughly document everything on the move-in checklist and keep a copy for yourself. We were also charged for replacing items that were in perfect condition, like mysterious drip pans that we never used or damaged. Protect yourself because they will literally shake you down and attempt to bleed you dry!

After an extensive search for a new residence to be closer to my job, I decided on this place. I quickly learned that this company is going to take more money than you owe. Upon move in, after discussing my move in costs, I agreed to deposit plus first months rent, which was taken in order to receive keys. Understood, but a few days later, I was told I owed rent. Unable to afford based on agreements, I immediately questioned why I signed the lease. To my surprise, the manager waived most of the fee, and applied what I had already paid on the term I pay the difference of $380 a week later. Due to job promotion, I had to move out early, so after I paid lease break fee in entirety, all rents payments in full, I was told I wouldnt be getting deposit back. Not ideal, but I rolled with it. Then a month after move out, I am sent a bill for move out charges that not only took deposit, but charged more without receipt proof. Expect to go to court to get your deposit back after all justified payments have been made.

Visitor parking here is offensively dreadful and should be a concern to any tenant who wishes to have visitors (meaning, all of them). Instead of visitor parking spots interspersed throughout the lower levels of the battleship-sized parking garage, you have to go all the way to the top level (a good 3 minute trip) and once you get there, there is only one stairwell to go down. And the top level is the size of a football field. Meanwhile, the lower levels each have 5-6 stairwells. This is probably not something on the forefront of each prospective tenants mind when viewing the apartments, but take heed: your friends and loved ones will hate where you live.

I have lived here about a year, and just resigned my lease for the next year. My unit itself is nice and pretty quiet. The grounds and pools are spacious and well maintained, although corporate should invest in the dog DNA kits to fine irresponsible pet owners when they dont clean up. Pet waste disposable bags and trash cans are provide all over the complex. Maintenance has been fairly quick to respond to issues. I love having the parking garage so I dont have to carry my groceries up flights of stairs, a rare find. I also love how central the location is to everything, with a dog park a few blocks away. The office staff, especially Jordan and Bernadette, is always friendly and helpful. Although the cross streets can get fairly congested with car traffic and foot traffic with the numerous bus stops, the community is gated and inner units (at least mine) dont have excessive noise. Although I would love a fully updated apartment with the bells and whistles, this complex meets all of my needs with some perks at a fair price.

They came out to fix it and it immediately fell off again. I looked at it again and two new screws were drilled through it trying to hold it on! The maintenance crew here is a joke and they refuse to actually replace anything, just do a hack job to try to get it working until they leave when it will break again. I have lived here since the middle of August. We have had so many issues since then we decided to move to a different complex. Roaches, drains clogged with hair, broken gates that dont get fixed, people leaving gates open (which is a lease violation. I have told the management multiple times, but they dont get it fixed), people who dont live here coming in and stealing from vehicles ( a guy was stealing change from my scooter I confronted him and he through change at my face), and much more. The area has sex workers on the corners, vagrants, and drug addicts. This is not a safe place and the management doesnt care about safety. If they did they would fix the gate and they would make sure this community was safe. Do not move here. It is too expensive for what you get. I would live here if it was $400/month. Any more than that is a rip off. I am calling the headquarters tomorrow to tell them about my issues and see what they have to say about this.

I hardly ever heard my neighbors, unless their dog was barking super loud. My only complaint was it took a while to go up and down the parking garage because of all the speed bumps, but there could have been worse things. I absolutely loved the gym here. It was super convenient and had everything you need for a quick workout. Even my maintenance request got taken care of quickly. One time my water heater began leaking and got into my living room carpet. Maintenance was there the same day to take care of it and even had the carpet cleaners come out and treat my living room. I would definitely recommend this place and even consider moving back.

Ive lived here for years. Great service from the front office. Cool amenities and even a more social staff this year organizing events such as food trucks and even a masseuse on site! Special visits fromVendors promoting healthy lifestyles and up to date skin care treatments and top of the line vitamins and care products.

Our air went out during the hottest week of the year, we couldnt live in our apartment for four days. They made no attempt to fix this quickly or offer appropriate accommodations (we slept on friends couches) and offered a restaurant gift card as a consolation. After arguing with management they credited 3, not 4 days of rent, despite their legal requirement to make full restitution. We have submitted a complaint with the Arizona Tenants association.

Mozaic at Steele Park has a phenomenal director and exceptional staff members. Apartment residents appreciate communication, and each staff member takes that seriously. Maintenance requests are handled within 1-3 business days for non-emergency issues and they will contact you to let you know it is completed through an email, text, and a note at your place if you arent home. The office staff is open to suggestions regarding events, they send out emails and put up flyers letting residents know of any office hour changes or updates within the community. The office staff keeps your mailed packages safe in their designated mail room and are organized in having residents pick them up by having set package pick up hours so that they can best assist incoming and current residents alike. The apartments themselves have soft tan carpets in the bedrooms and living room and easy to clean kitchen/dining room laminate flooring. The patios are able to be decorated and if you have an aparment on the West side youll be sure to get plenty of sun for your plants. A year of residency and I have yet to see a cockroach on the premises (a major plus for me).The fire department is right across the street, as is the VA hospital, so when there is an emergency, the response time is about 5 minutes--another plus! No worries though, the sound of sirens isnt bothersome even if youre on the outer edges, the fire department is generally courteous and wont put the sirens on until they hit the main street so as not to disturb residents (very kind). The security staff does nightly walk-throughs and they are also on call if needed. Parking spots are on the level where you reside, with the top floor being entirely open for guests. The gym has equipment to get you started in your workouts or keeping up your routine with supplemental workouts. The game room is able to be reserved for parties/events and has a game room, tv, couches, and mini kitchen. They also have a movie rental section with about 20 movies that change out once a month (it is run Blockbuster style). The director of the apartment and her staff members all take the time to learn not only your name, but your pets names, and what your interests are. They genuinely care about their residents and creating a warm and welcome community environment.

They location is great and the community is good. I enjoyed living here. However, the management was horrible. Dealing with the head of the office was an absolute nightmare. Upon moving out we were struck with random fees; which talking to other neighbors the same was done to them. I pray that things have gotten better because it is a great place to live, provided they cleaned up their management.

Very nice apartments and apartment complex. However, the neighborhood is terrible, and the parking garage is very annoying it feels like it takes 10 minutes to drive up and down it (but never park on the streets around the apartment, my car was broken into when I tried to avoid the parking garage). Also, the apartments are very expensive, but you get what you pay for because as I said above they are very nice apartments. If you do decide to rent here avoid any apartments that face out onto the main streets, they are extremely loud and I was consistently woken up in the middle of the night to sounds of people screaming and fighting. Maintenance issues were always taken care of in a timely manner and the office staff is very professional and welcoming. Over all I enjoyed my time living in these apartments and would recommend them (just make sure your apartment is within the complex and not facing the streets).

Very happy living here. The price you pay is good for the central location you get close to light rail and frequent bus service. Downtown Phoenix is only a couple miles down the street abdominal you have three different freeways close by in each direction. The grounds areally well kept, maintenance responds quickly and the front office is quick to respond and resolve any problems you may have. Parking garage is provided with a reserved space for your vehicle and each level is connected to the building hallways with ramps. Some weird people in the area from time to time but they mostly keep away, the property has done a good job keeping gates and locks in working order. Overall no complaints and happy to live here! I love being able to leave the car behind and catch a train to work, its great living in the central corridor!

First of all, when I moved in the unit was disgusting. I’m not sure if they forgot I was moving in but absolutely nothing had been cleaned from the previous tenant. There were giant gloves of black hair in the bathroom, the bathtub looked like it was scrubbed with a Brillo pad and was disgusting, the microwave had food splattered all over it, and the tile that is by the door was very dirty. Whenever I put in a maintenance request they are very quick but so far nothing has been fixed. My washing machine sounds like it is going to blow up and obviously needs a new piece in it but they just sprayed wd40 on it and claimed it was fixed. I was actually woken up this morning to my ceiling raining which I put in about 3 months ago so that was a great wake up call. The actual apartment is not worth the price. I have been so disappointed with this place and I can’t wait until my lease is up.

Cox is the only cable/internet provider since Mosaic has a contract with them. They jack up your rates after a year and theres nothing you can do about it. The office management is super unhelpful and they dont follow up with any concerns. Faith in the office is extremely condescending. When I moved in, the refrigerator was broken when it looked like it worked and I had to throw out all of my food. Various long holiday weekends, the ac in the gym is shut off and the indoor temp is over 90° F.

I lived at Moziac for 2 years and it was a great place to live. My 2 bedroom home was full of light and over looked the swimming pool. We had several propane grill and ubiquitous green areas for out four legged family members. Walking distance to all the activities at indian steel park and amazing restraunts and entertainment. Since then they have upgraded the fitness and public space in the office area.Office and maintenance staff was were efficient and full of energy. I would recommend Moziac (and have) to anyone.

Stone-cold hot tub 30% of the time. ...that is, if the whole pool area is not pad-locked during operating hours. ...and if there is enough water in the hot tub....I pay a luxury price for substandard amenities. Some maintenance requests must be submitted twice to get done. Some still have never been completed to code....Dog feces is left around common areas, and dog owners are not held to account....The move-in process is not to Arizonas law, so I imagine I will be overcharged upon move-out, like the rest of the dissatisfied tennants listed here.

Love the office staff and inside/outside of the property .. very clean! But, if you decide to move please move on the third floor. I have stage 3 breast cancer after coming home from chemo for 3 hours and trying to rest. I have to come home to my upstairs neighbor playing a loud piano for hours and the hard stomping sometimes with heels is a nuisance... I have to blast my tv and disturb my neighbors downstairs and next door. Definitely not comfortable while being sick. Property awesome, inconsiderate neighbors, horrible!

Ive been here for 3 years but Im leaving as soon as my lease is up. The rent keeps getting higher and the staff has all changed. When I first moved here management was friendly and maintenance was fast and responsible. Now there is all new people in the office and they are rude. Maintenance is untrustworthy and my toilet tank cover is missing. There was a hole in my roof that they fixed and now that spot is leaking water. They wont replace anything and want you to pay for it. This place is an embarrassment now and Im not staying. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Ever since moving in, weve been continually impressed with the grounds, office staff, and maintenance staff. While visiting from out of state to apartment hunt, this was the 5th place we viewed. We knew immediately it was the one, but we still waited until the following day to sign the paperwork (so as not to seem too impressed!). The office staff are amazingly helpful and accommodating (I work from home and didnt have internet the first few days, so they let me use the business center as soon as they got there, even though the office didnt officially open for another hour). The maintenance staff are the fastest and most polite Ive encountered! We recently submitted a maintenance request to check our garbage disposal. This was on a Sunday morning. We left for some errands, and when we got back (no more than 3 hours later), not only had they been to our apartment, but we had a brand new garbage disposal! Many apartment complexes maintenance take a few days, and even fewer work on Sundays. I could go on, but just know that Mozaic at Steele Park is a great place to live!

If you are moving in and have a UHAUL it will NOT clear the parking garage and you are left with the only option of parking at the side of a building closest to your apartment and going through a gate (and up flights of stairs if you live on 2nd or 3rd floor) loading furniture get you your apartment!!!A heads up from the leasing office would have been appropriate!!

The complex itself is ok. The area is not-so-great, and the parking situation leaves something to be desired. Overall, its pretty quiet. However, they will charge you for every little thing upon move-out. I spent several hours cleaning my apartment (I used to clean houses part-time), and they still charged me for cleaning the apartment after I left, citing several areas that were supposedly dirty but had actually been scrubbed with 409 or Clorox bleach spray. Take pictures of everything as part of your move-in inspection so you can show management proof when they try to gouge the hell out of you!

This is a wonderful community for all you pot/marijuana smokers out there! If you can’t tolerate it or have an allergy to it like me then this would NOT be the place to move into. I have been complaining about this almost since I have moved in but they seem to never catch you smoking. Lisa has NO care for people’s health at this complex and only thinks about money. If you should ever get cough by Phoenix P.D. for smoking pot then Lisa will give you a 2nd chance. (words out of her mouth) Sadly if you’re in the same case as me and can no longer tolerate it and choose to leave you have to pay the break of lease fee of 1 month. I did try to fight it but sadly forgot to do one thing to avoid paying this and now it’s to late. Lisa did not even have the guts to tell me the outcome of me having to pay after all this herself and had someone else from the staff call me to tell me. Lets not forget to add the cost of moving and breaking also ATD’s contract and that’s about $2,500. They also had break-ins with in the community and cars on the roof. The best part of all this is that they leave notes on your door to let you know about the break-ins so if you’re out of town your apartment is now a great target. Bottom line if you’re someone like me who follows the rules and AZ law and the others (pot smokers) don’t this community will screw you over and this is costing me about $3,500 total (Termination Fee, Move & ADT). So make sure you think twice before renting from here if you don’t like the smell or have an allergy to pot/marijuana. If you do smoke it then this is a great place especially with Lisa here, as she seems to care more for the smokers then the non-pot smokers. Now the positive side all the other staff here are wonderful helpful people and the community is close to the light rail. Another great point is they are very LGTB and dog friendly.
