UPDATED 9/20/21: The new managements (property AND maintenance) working hard on tenant improvements and customer service - we hope they stick around for the long term! Keep up the great work! I look forward to raising my stars as work continues:)Amenities are always locked/broken (exterior pools, gym, gated-community gates and fences), their non-smoking property doesnt exist, maintenance is lacking so repairs are slow to happen. Hopefully the new property manager will make changes, since were only half way through our lease. Were so bummed because we love the location and want to be long-term tenants.

I had bed bugs and they did NOTHING. Also the a-hole handyman kept parking his golf cart in my parking lot. I have pictures as proof for both. High turn over rate for the office people. Hate this place so much. The value is no there. They charge way too much for what they offer. Youre getting the same accommodations as you would if you lived in some run down apartment in Alhambra, yet they have the audacity to charge scottsdale prices. What a joke.

The wrong people to deal with. They owe me my deposit still and were suppose to reimburse me for 2 weeks of rent for leaving early. Instead of taking care of a resident that lived there for a long time, longer than anyoneelse, they destroyed me, lying, taking away my chances to move somewhere else by putting a judgement on my record for no reason. How dare they do this, especially when my information was used illegally they had no right to use my information. Never missed a payment

Sure, theres a nice view. The appliances are literally updated as of maybe 1985. My microwave front door glass broke and I asked for a new microwave, they wouldnt replace it. I had 2 instances where I REALLY needed help and they are not helpful and do not care. I had been in the hospital for 7 days and I came back to clean all my laundry and get a fresh start and my dryer ended up breaking. They couldnt make any exception for me to get my dryer fixed, as my bedding is soaking wet. They said I had literally 1 hour to use another unit for the dryer, but I have 2 loads that need to be done. Now mind you, this is the 2nd time my dryer has broken and not dried clothes. All they want is a dollar. The residents here are just a buck and not treated like human beings.

Mirador Apartment Homes was the most delightful place to live. The Management Team from top to bottom went the extra distance to make sure that all of my needs were met in a courteous, professional and exemplary fashion. Not only is the community very well kept, but it is nestled in the mountain preserve and amidst the Point Tapatio Hilton Golf Course. The management team were very accommodating on moving out and I received over 93% of my deposit in return within 2 weeks. So if your looking for a beautiful and friendly place to live checkout Mirador.

I lived at this complex for 6 years as I navigated my way through college and my first couple of years of adulthood. I made a lot of wonderful memories and genuinely enjoyed my time living here. The amenities were great and the events that management held were always fun and got the community engaged. The reason for the 3 stars and not higher has been this moving out process, as I have bought my first home. The entire process was very unclear, and I was always left questioning what I was having to pay and how the check out process was supposed to go.Finally, the move out fee cost more than what my security deposit was (which is totally expected considering I lived there so long) but what has been incredibly frustrating has been the time since I was notified of this extra payment. After 6 years of no late rent payments, no missed rent payments, no noise complaints or other issues, I get threatened to be sent to collections over a payment not due for another 2 weeks.I found that to be really disappointing and shows that all that time I was there I was just a number in a spreadsheet.I appreciate the memories, but thankful to be rid of the headache.

This is the worth community that I ever seen before. I pay a lot for the rent.First time when I wanted to rent one apartment, the people who work in the office didn’t give me any information about the golf ball. Now after 5 months I checked around my car and I found out a lot of damages that happen with golf ball on my car and they don’t care about it.I have Verizon service on my phone. Good luck for service in the community for call and internet. It’s terrible.I live in first floor. After storm and rainy days, my apartment gets covered with water on the floor and carpet. The water comes from bathroom, balcony and kitchen in the apartment and the carpet gets messy. My dish washer got broken several times and I called the office to let them know to come and check but unfortunately they came after 2-3 time calls. The maintenance service in the community is horrible and weak. If something happens as an emergency it’s going to take a lot of time (2 or 3 days) to come fix it.Unfortunately I have to wait until the end of my contract. And when that time comes I will move away from this community immediately.

I have lived at Mirador for 6 months and I am very happy here. The community itself is very lovely, with mature vegetation and lots of trees and green spaces. I like nature, so hearing the birds chirping in the morning and owls hooting at night is fantastic! The apartment is laid out nicely and is updated and comfortable. Neighbor to neighbor noise is very minimal, and I feel the walls are well insulated. The staff in the leasing office and maintenance guys are always friendly and approachable, and maintenance requests are taken care of quickly. They have fun resident events like breakfast, ice cream socials, and birthday cupcakes. I would recommend Mirador to anyone who was looking to live there!

My carpet was saturated during the recent rainfall. I requested the carpet be replaced in the master bedroom as well as my items destroyed in that area, as I believe this is a structural issue which the apartment complex was well aware existed. The carpet and my damaged property were not replaced. The padding was replaced, and I will be charged the electricity associated with the large drying unit they sent that inhibited my ability to enjoy the space given the noise associated with its use. The manager left a voicemail that the issue was buildup in the gutters, which they have since corrected. There are no sandbags or structural corrections, and I anticipate that I will experience the same issue the next rainfall. So, I dont put any of my items in that area of the apartment. The hot tub has not been heated since I moved in, and the landscaping should be maintained better around the units. Given the the rental costs, you would expect the units and amenities to be serviced appropriately. The view is nice and leasing agents are pleasant, and these would be the only compliments I am able to provide at the present time.

They are very helpful and patient when it comes to questions you might have about OUR community here. The Maintenance Crew is on top of their game, when called upon, they respond. If it is something that needs approval, they will look at the issue then take care of it. If it is something simple, they will take care of it right then and there. You CAN NOT leave your drains open at night 2 1/2 inch cockroaches will enter your apartment and these are not the dirty ones my friends. - Confirmed with multiple Tenants. They spray, but it does nothing because these ROACHES are HUGE!Woke up one night at 4am to find one crawling on my neck and crushed it with my bare hands - I knew it was time to move out. Traumatized for weeks waking up in the middle of the night to check my sheets.Other instances where the 2 inch cockroaches will race across the room, I would find them hanging from the closet ceiling upside down, and outside by neighbors doors or crawling into the neighbors apartments.Look I get it; its Phoenix, BUT the situation is really really bad. They can tell you all they want that they will fix it, but in the end after complaining and pouring Boric Acid and bleach down my drains every single day, all they said is, Hey, its Phoenix! - Right. There is nothing we can do about it. This happened on a Tuesday and they said they would send out someone NEXT MONDAY! - Yes, I had to wait 6 long days. The apartments are cheaply constructed and it is really not worth the money at all since the units are over priced. The walls are paper thin and so are the floors - I dont think I will ever live on the second floor ever again.WIFI SIGNAL - Since the apartment complex is in kind of in the mountains, away from Thunderbird Road, your WIFI signal will experience interference. You will never get full internet speed. - I had DIRECT TV. Had DIRECT TV come out a couple times to confirm.Cell phone signal is garbage as well and I have Verizon. Since you experience WIFI interference and hardly any cellphone reception you can forget about WIFI calling. I would have to wait sometimes to go down the hill and get on the road to make a phone call.Hardly any parking and the parking spots are very narrow and sometimes impossible to work with if your neighbor doesnt know how to park their car. So you are forced to get a dink. I have two - they line up perfectly with the car who used to park next to me.Quiet time is 9pm - God forbid if you want to play a bit of music, Medium Volume (NOT LOUD at all), on a Friday or Saturday night around 10:30pm. The old farts that live around you will complain because the walls and floors are paper thin. - Not Worth It.Gold course is okay, but the morons who cant play hit the ball into the parking lot and HIT your car once in a while.I saw 2 Javelinas by the garbage dumps on a few different occasions. - Never threw out my trash again without bringing my gun with me.Signing an 11 month lease here was a BIG mistake. It seems as if this is very common among many neighbors who have lived there in the past. Way over priced just to live with LARGE Cockaroaches, poor WIFI, and no cellphone signal in silence - not worth it. Moving on. - Dont waste your time.I would give the staff 3 of 5 stars for showering everyday - not very smart people. I am writing this review because you should highly recommend looking into another establishment. I did not enjoy myself here at all. My rent was always payed on time with no problems. Just stating my opinion and the opinions of others that have lived here. I hope you enjoyed my review. MOVE ON! Good Luck.ADDITION: I was charged for the indentation a large mirror created on the carpet during final move out. I should have vaccumed this portion of the carpet - silly me! BUT is it really a big deal?!?!This company will have a 3rd party company come in and look for everything wrong and charge you for it.TERRIBLE customer service LIBBY piss poor attitude when simply trying to speak to them about it!I was the perfect resident and always payed my rent on time.I payed the additional charges and I am very happy to simply walk away.STAY AWAY FROM MIRADOR! MOVE ON.

Nice location, beautiful landscape, and golf course views. The leasing staff is friendly and they host monthly incentives. However, the apartments are very much out of date and several of the electrical outlets were not grounded. The HVAC units are very old so expect a high utility bill. Maintenance does the typical cut corner handyman approach. Be sure to check monthly of any dues owed as any notification will get lost and contractual changes occur frequently.

In short, stay away. Management is predatory and unconcerned with tenant issues. As many have mentioned, living on the first floor is a nightmare. Structurally the complex is weak and leaves room for many infestations such as mold after rain, termites, and other insects. You can also kiss your refundable deposit goodbye. They provided us with a move-out check list which we followed to a T. We were told by a member of the office that we could clean the carpets and give them the receipt. During our final walk through they said the carpets looked awesome but since we didnt use a professional service, they would likely charge us. We used a professional grade cleaner from home depot that cost us $42 and they charged us $50 for needing to clean the carpets again. Absolutely ridiculous. When presented with the final bill and we brought up our concerns, they were dismissive and unwilling to hold themselves accountable for plain lying to us. So when can we expect that $25 you now owe us? - screw you Mirador.

I enjoyed living here for the most part... until the week before the end of my lease. Mirador charges you for the stupidest things in order to take more of your money. We spent days cleaning and scrubbing our apartment to make sure we received a good portion of our security deposit back. Our apartment was spotless! They tell us we are getting back literally ONE FIFTH of our deposit because of dents in carpet from furniture sitting on it, and so they can paint the walls. That is not necessary!! Dont take my money to do something you want to do just to waste time. The walls do not need to be painted. They are SPOTLESS!! Not happy with these money hoarders. They dont even reply to my emails.

The community is very beautiful. This was my familys second stay living there. The walls are pretty noiseless, the parking is alright unless you have more than one vehicle, the maintenance team is awesome, the leasing team switches so much that I dont know if I should rate them.I recently moved and received a tiny portion of my deposit. I was charged for a hole in the wall that was located in the wash closet that held the washer and dryer. The washing machine, which was ancient, decided it wanted to escape three weeks prior to us moving. It bounced around, exploded and put a hole in the wall as well as the closet door in front of it. I was charged $60 for that hole...that was not of my causing. I was also charged ridiculously for the carpet cleaning fee. There were tag on charges for pet and high traffic...When we moved in a year ago the carpet wasnt immaculate and showed signs of high traffic despite being cleaned. The master bathroom carpet got damage because a neighboring apartments pipe burst and soaked our carpet, so I am sure that charge is for that as well. My mother turned in the keys on our move out day after a cleaning crew left. She was told she didnt need to do a walk through because we had a cleaning crew. Fast forward to three weeks later, I am upset that I am charged for damages that I didnt create. I called a week ago and never received a response so I stopped by the rental office and told one of the managers about the bogus charges...her statement was Well, the carpet was pretty expensive to clean so consider it a courtesy that we didnt charge more. In other words take what we gave you and leave. Our previous stay was fine the management crew was awesome and we didnt have any issues when we moved out. I wouldnt recommend to friends or family. Below are pics of the saturated carpet padding and the leaky pipe that dripped water in exactly one second intervals and caulk and bleach cleaner that got on the carpet from the ordeal.

The Mirador was the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in. The Weidner management company does an extremely poor job taking care of these apartments. They do not take care of the grounds and units like they should be.They refused to let me see my apartment before signing the lease. The apartment was in very poor condition when I moved in. The maintenance was horrible and it took them 11 times for them to fix the heater. They kept replacing the blown fuse over and over again instead of actually fixing it. I literally had to yell at there employees for them to actually buy new parts for the heater. The management charges everybody a carpet cleaning fee when tenants move out. They also try to charge tenants for normal wear and tear. I would highly advise to NOT SIGN THE LEASE BFFORE SEEING THE APARTMENT!!!!!! If there is something wrong with the apartment when you move in you might be charged for it when you move out.The apartments are not updated and the appliances are cheap and old. The apartments have poor insulation. In the winter months my electric bill was over $200 every month. And about $200-$300 in the summer. I kept the thermostat around 66 in the winter and 82 in the summertime. The parking lot is badly cracked and the uncovered spaces are extremely uneven and hard to park in. The landscaping company they use is horrible. They over trim all the plants till the point where they are dying. There is a large amount of coyotes and juveniles living around the apartment complex since it is located next to the mountain preserve. I have seen many walking around the parking lot. Sometimes I saw them walking around during the day. The coyotes where very active at night and sometimes very loud, making it hard to sleep. I dont think this is a very safe place to live if you walk a dog because of the large amount of juveniles and coyotes roaming around.

Apartments are cheaply built, single pane windows you could hear someone fart outside. I can hear every step from the neighbors above me. The worst part has been this loud barking dog which the owner likes leaving out on the balcony. The dog barks for hours non-stop, nobody to stop him. Ive made my complaints, but it seems that dogs have more rights than humans. Dont get me wrong, I love dogs, but I love my sleep too. In my personal opinion, go rent somewhere else. If youre touring a second level, jump and stomp your feet, if the entire apartment shakes, then its a no. The quality of the apartment will establish the noise level, I like quiet, I pay for it, I should have it, you should too!

Okay place to live. The rent is a little high. The shared water, sewer, and trash is based on the occupants. For a family of three, we pay about $70 to $80 a month. Babies are considered occupants. Maintenance requests are fulfilled very quickly. Golf balls regularly fly through the parking lots. I have seen cars getting hit on multiple occasions. I have killed two scorpions in my apartment in the two years I have been living here. We had an ant problem that lasted about three weeks. One covered parking spot for a two bed two bath. Parking can be an issue sometimes if you have more than one vehicle. Only electronic payments are accepted for the rent and utilities. As with a lot of complexes, the rent increased when the lease was to be renewed by at least $70. You cannot rent out the clubhouse. The maintenance staff and office staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept clean and maintained.

Place was nice until the lease came up. My son had signed a 9 month lease, but needed 30 more days. He went in the office to see if he could get another 30 days, and was told that he needed to go month to month, at a more expensive rate. He told the office that he only needed another 30 days. He went to turn his keys in the next month, and was told that he did not give official 30 days notice, and he owed another months rent. Was threatened with legal action if he did not pay, and to add insult to injury, if he did not pay, he would be accessed $25 late fee every day. He is new to apartment renting, just graduating from college, and I felt they took advantage to an inexperienced renter. Manager never returned my phone calls. They offered a payment plan, and now have to acommodate them so we both do not ruin our credit ratings, as I co-signed for him and he is trying to establish his own credit. Shame on them!!! Lived at Mirador for about 1 year, the complex was overall very nice for the price and situated in a central location to go to Central Phoenix, PV, and Scottsdale. Beautiful golf course and walking paths nearby, the grounds were kept clean while there and plenty of parking.Pros: Apartment itself was fairly up to date, carpets were clean, did not find any bugs while on the second story of the unit building. You get a large amount of space for a 1Br 1Bth with a storage closet that came in handy. Maintenance was fast.Cons: Some mechanical parts may be old, replace any locks or appliances if worn. Parking is pretty tight under carports so a large car will be difficult to park. Upper stories tend to get hotter as heat rises, Id recommend a first floor or second. Windows are single pane, so get black out shades to avoid heat radiating through.Overall I liked the complex, Id recommend it.

False sense of security, we lived on the second floor and my childrens bikes were stolen from our front door when they came in the apartment for about 20 minutes. Also my vehicle was broken into in my lighted assigned covered parking spot where the thieves tried to steal my wheels and tires. Unfortunately for me when I contacted the police and the office, management notified me that the security camera on the building pointing right at my vehicle hadnt been working for about six months prior, after their maintenance shed had been broken into. The only time I saw our on site security was when they were sitting in their car at the front office.I also had issues with trying to get my refundable deposit when I moved out. I did the pre-walk with management at that time they told me the apartment looked great and gave me a few minor recommendations to complete to get my deposit back. Much to my surprise they did the final walk through without me there, they kept my deposit and sent me a bill for an extra $300. When I contacted them they denied the first conversation and couldnt give me an explanation of why they were charging me for drip pan covers that I had replaced brand new prior to moving. They didnt waste anytime turning that over to collections either as I was getting harassing phone calls in less than a month.I had multiple other issues such as the apartment reeking of smoke from the downstairs neighbor, the dryer getting so hot that it melted, shredded and ruined clothes and comforters, I was out of heat for a month because they didnt believe that my thermostat was broke (I put in multiple requests to fix) this was also during the winter, my toilet was leaking and leaked so much the neighbor down below had water going into their apartment, I had a brand new roofing tile fall off the roof on top of my foot bruising it, I contacted management and they said that they were sorry, the roof tile was never fixed.

Total water bill every month is no less then $65.00. Sewer charge and trash is $45.00 our first 2 months we moved into the apartment in June and July electric bill was $256.00 July was $378. In a 3 bedroom apartment.

The management at this complex makes judgments on their tenants.. After they decide they dont like something they go after you.. Even to the point of making up whatever they can and lying in court.. Needless to say we werent going to be bullied by them and secured a lawyer to represent us. Not sure what it is they didnt like, but the manager Lee Casto decided he no longer liked us and then began lying in order to have us evicted.. Even saying we were a danger to other tenants.. We first thought we were screwed, but decided to seek a lawyer because we hadnt done anything wrong. Our lawyer agreed and represented us at court where the judge also agreed.. Now they leave us alone but, have decided to start charging for everything.. They even charge to receive a package from the post office.. If you dont pay they wont give it to you!! Is that even legal?? This manager makes up his own rules as he goes along!!!! Avoid this complex!!!! I if hadnt sgned a lease we would be soooo long gone!!!!!!
