Uhaul truck provided had a huge gash in the tire which flattened after only a few hours. Almost caused an accident. Absolutely unacceptable I will never rent from this location again.
I have rented many storage units in the past. This one by far has met all of my expectations. The staff are super friendly. From the front desk to the maintance personnel. All staff members are willing to go above and beyond to help and accommodate the customers. Every last one of the staff members were awesome! The facility is clean ( as clean as a storage unit can get). The bathrooms are always clean and well maintained ( side note: the hand soap is awesome ). The hours at this facility is optimal for any business owner needing to go back and forth several times to their storage unit(s). Thank you for great experience for the past year and a half. I highly recommend this facility!

If i could give this place negative stars, i would!!!!!!! absolutely disgusting!!!!!!! did a moving job for a client and her storage unit had a pipe leak into it and it smelled like stale urine!!!!!!!! trash was everywhere, i wouldnt store dirty, used diapers in that place!!!!!!!

I’ve rented with this location two different times, each time was very pleasant! Today I watched the manager, Brandon go above and beyond for a customer who was super difficult to deal with. Not only did he keep his cool, he also helped several other customers who were waiting to be serviced! He has a high and advanced level of customer service that you just don’t see to often anymore, it was truly a breath of fresh air. Brandon you deserve a kudos from the CEO for being awesome and representing the company well, your level of customer service will take you a long way! Despite scheduling a U-Haul pickup in south Philly months in advance, we were sent to this location which was 40 minutes away. They also did not have the equipment we rented. This will be my last time using u-haul to move.
Terrible experience with this location. Brandon Donovan the so called manager is condescending and rude, yes he is white. I feel sorry for the employees that have to work under him. THEY NEED NEW MANAGEMENT ASAP

Who knew I’d be looking forward to writing a review after such a long day, but my man Brandon deserves it.Brandon was a great listener, communicates so well, and provides some of the best customer experience I’ve had ever.He not only made up for number of bad and lacking interactions I’ve had in trying to reserve a truck, he has made me want to give his U-Haul location all my business.
These people are great because they help accommodate your request for moving anything properly. The best thing that this location offers are cheap boxes and overnight truck drop off.

Every time I go inside there is a long wait and 1 person to help. I waited in line for about 20 minutes before someone else came back to help the cashier. I wish they had a kiosk for payments and pick ups that would be faster and great for business.
We’ve used it for storage facilities and also truck rentals over the years, and it’s our favorite location across multiple states. The facilities are convenient, but the staff are really fantastic — super helpful and friendly and professional.

Use of the storage facility was great right up until the end. Despite paying $200/month to Uhaul via auto pay for more than 2 years, I could not rent a truck from UHaul to move my property. Although my drivers license was renewed and unexpired, due to Covid I only had the paper license showing the renewal and 2024 expiration date. PA allows the paper to be carried with the old photo license to show proof of id. This, however, was not accepted by the manager to rent a truck and he offered no other solution to rent a truck. Uhauls shortsightened response to my situation forced me to make other arrangements to move my property.
Brandon provided excellent customer service regarding my recent Ubox shipment from Irving, TX to Philadelphia, PA. I was frustrated with the customer service I received from the Plano, TX location and was ready to write the Better Business Bureau on the whole organization. But then Brandon not only took care of what I needed to do with unpacking my storage in Philly, he also went out of his way to assist me in getting resolutions for my issues with the Plano location. You dont meet many people like Brandon when it comes to customer service, so if I do any more business with U-Haul, it will only be at this location.

My husband and I had the worst time with Uhaul on the phone—cancelled reservations, a one-way trip turned into a round trip quoted at more than DOUBLE of the original estimate, it was a MESS!Brandon shuffled some stuff around and really went to bat for us with his managers over the phone. We were planning to stop using Uhaul completely but we’d come to THIS location any time. Thanks again Brandon!
Deadazz... The smoothest Uhaul transactions ever. I always walk in and walk right out with whatever I need. The staff is solid...not too happy, just right lol, theyre straight to the point and wont waste your time. They all answer any question I have.
My card wasnt put on autopay as requested at the time of rental resulting in lien notifications being sent but its a convenient, well-kept facility.
The service that I just received from the uhaul at 2801 hunting Park Avenue was absolutely horrible, the 2 black guys that were working refused to give me their names and they did not explain anything to me, they rushed me and the confused the entire situation and I had to get a refund because of it, one guy had a coofie type of hat on his head

This location on 29th and Hunting Park, charged my bank account twice. Ive had past good experiences with them, so, I held off from giving them this bad review. Ive called the location and customer service and after week of a non-response in action. I have come here. They charged me twice, for the same day rental, on two different days. The two charges have appeared on my bank statement as two different charges, with one penny difference in the cost.Example: 99 cents and 98 cents. Ive tired to tell them this, as they were trying to convince me, that one was pending transaction and one was the final charge. I then told them, no, the deduction came out of my bank balance, as per my bank, and the difference of the penny.Anyway...here I am...telling everyone to not use this location, or just to let everyone know, that you may want to choose to go to another company...due to the service I received from customer service, as well.I hate bad customer service and I really hate when I have to give reviews, like this one.BUT...hard earned money is not to be stolen and brushed off, like it is nothing. 80$ is still 80$...thats a lobster, in some restaurants. Its a bill payment, Im sure on something.***edit***They put the money back into my account. Took a few weeks, but they did. Thanks

This location is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. But there is a young guy that works there that has no respect no makers and has no idea of what good customer service is. The one thing I can say this place needs is a dumpster for the customers to use.
Nice place had many units available and they were able to get me a unit the same day. Security was great with coded access. Large elevators for if you have big furniture.

Tire was punctured before we picked it up, which could not be seen or caught with a visual inspection (Dual tires shifted the weight off the outer tire so it did not appear flat). UHaul charged my account for the tire damage upon return, however we only drove 8 miles and did not hear anything puncture the tire. I also purchased their insurance, but apparently it does not cover tires. I am getting ripped off because they did a poor inspection after a previous customers return.

5 different location, 3 reservations and I still count get what I needed after 4 hours of driving and a missed work day. Ill definitely call Enterprise next time. The one star is bc they were at least open.

Wish I could Give 0 stars!!!!!!They turned a one day trip into 3 days. I went to pick up my rental on Sunday & they doubled book so I was out of luck & had no choice but to call out of work on Monday & move my stuff. Such an inconvenience! Than because I inconvenienced the people who were willing to help on Sunday I had no help on Monday until they got off work. So couldnt move my stuff my stuff until they got off. My storage closed before we were finished so I had to hold the truck with all my things in it over night. To sum up! The worst U haul site EVER!!! I will NEVER go here again & I will make sure I let people know how bad this site is!!!!! The Worst oh Also the rear veiw mirror on the truck kept moving on the passenger side so I basically had no view on that side, gave me a truck almost on E, & that has multiple damage!
The facility is nice, but the loading dock needs to be monitored. One car was parked in one of the 3 spots for over 2 hours and the other one, the guy sat in his car for 30 minutes before unloading but then played games on his phone while sitting in front of his unit for an hour. We waited 2 hours for a spot to open and it never did so we had to unload and lug our stuff from across the parking lot.
Seamless experience everytime I have to rent a uhaul, none of the shenanigans that Ive experienced from other uhaul locations.
Called to make a reservation to rent a truck, was put on hold 6 times, thought about how long I would need the truck for a few seconds when asked and was rushed off the phone with call back when you have all your information together. I will not be calling back and taking my business elsewhere
Very helpful staff that actually looked out for my best interest in terms of making sure I had enough time to get the truck back in the store without charging more for it though I am sure they could have. Quick pickup of a clean ready to go truck and a quicker return when I was done.
24 hour truck drop off, I rented a brand new Ford van (the big one) and had to keep it an extra day. They were really great about it! Definitely recommend this place!

Had to repeat my number 3 times ..forced mento get disc lock when the unit was inside took over half hour to get my unit . told me I would get the first month free then told I cant cause I didnt get a truck from there location. but still had a uhaul from down the road that didnt have a space I needed.
This place is horrible I totally regret storing my belongings here, I wish I was able to leave a 0 star rating. The customer service is terrible. I came to sign up for storage and requested the large storage unit 10 x 20 after taking forever to book the unit. I get up to the unit and it has a small 5 x 5 door. I come back down to tell the 2 associates about it being the wrong size door for the unit and they claimed they couldnt change it so I had to squeeze my large items into that small door... fast forward I come back a month later to retrieve something from my storage and my card doesnt work. I go inside and unfortunately the same associates are at work again and I tell them my card isnt working and he tells me my storage is past due when Im positive that I signed up for autopay and of course he never really signed me up for it like I said and now theres a late fee and of course neither have the authority to wave the late fee after he gave me the wrong unit the month before and didnt sign me up for Auto pay as I requested now I have to wait until the manager comes in tomorrow to try and get this resolved, I would NEVER store here again very poor service and unprofessional!

Made me re-schedule my pick up 3 times, lady at the front desk was all confused and did not know what to do. She said they were all out, then they only had a certain size, then they have it at a different location. I had to stopped her and tell her that I did not had time to waste to make up her mind. Had to call the office to change reservation cause she did not know how too. This place is just a joke. Cancel on them and get you the dolly app, someone will move you and it will be a similar price but twice the service.

I really cant say enough good things about the folks here. Literally everyone tries hard, is competent at their job and is super helpful. The manager Lily, is a great example of a leader and clearly knows the ins and outs of her store, and the business in general. The location, in my experience is incredibly safe, parking is amazing, and traffic is tolerable as opposed to center city or south philly locations where things are just a mess. Ive rented around 3-4 dozen trucks through this location in the past few months and they are barre none the best uhaul location Ive dealt with. Highest possible recommendation.

Terrible experience -- many mistakes, late delivery, much stress and wasted time.On the scheduled delivery date for my three UHaul UBoxes, I called the office to find that my reservation did not exist. The manager denied any possibility of a mistake on their part, was argumentative, and refused to find a solution for that day. The national customer service office was unable to help.A new delivery date was scheduled for several days later. Despite demanding an email confirmation, I did not receive one due to technical difficulties on UHauls side.On the new delivery date, a truck with a trailer arrived three hours late, and was unable to access our narrow street -- despite repeated warnings that this may be an issue. No suitable trucks were available anymore. I ended up unloading my belongings from the UBoxes into a truck at the UHaul center, driving them to my house, and loading them into my house -- twice the work.By this time, the manager was trying very hard to help with our case -- a complete and welcome reversal. All charges were to be waived, however I was mistakenly charged for costs amounting to ~$85. Much later, this was refunded after complaining to the national customer service office.I called the center many times during this ordeal, usually waiting on hold for ~15 minutes, and often being automatically transferred to the national office which had limited ability to help.
I went here to rent a truck for 3 days and I went 7:15 in the morning and the attitude the saleswoman head was Reckless she had a bad morning not able to locate keys to some of the vehicles and she basically told me thats why she was talking to me with a attitude I myself as a customers I dont think it was appropriate for her to talk to me in that tone. I didnt get a chance to get in touch with the corporate office but I will sooner or later. She has to realize you cant deal with customers in that tone if it wasnt from the customer they will be no U-Haul and she will not be able to generate a paycheck. You treat customers with respect no matter what mood you in.
My reservation was cancelled because I was not there at 11am and I arrived at 11:30am. No phone call or email to let me know anything or to check if I was still coming to pick up the rental. Very unprofessional.
This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I will never use this service again and will definitely not recommend this service to anyone I know.I didn’t get my belongings until July 30th, that is 24 days after I originally filled it on the 6th and 11 days after my guaranteed delivery day. I voiced my concerns to Kyle, the manager of the PA location, and he hung up on me as I was speaking. I ended up spending 2.5 hours on the phone with UHaul that day trying to get my belongings to me. From beginning to end the PA location and U-Haul never followed through on their promise to call me and confirm, dates, deliveries or even notify me that my box hadn’t left PA, I had to call them!During this moving nightmare with U-Haul, I had customer service agents, give me attitude, hang up on me, tell me mixed information, and leave me on hold for 20mins + that day. I hope you all understand that you have people’s belongings in your possession. I spent 12 days on an air mattress in a state I am not used to because I trusted UHaul to safely deliver my valuables. In return I got the worst treatment as a customer I have ever experience in my life. People are in a vulnerable position and I would have hope you would treat your customers with respect and care but you did not and it is truly rude and disappointing

Just like the majority - wish I could give a ZERO. After confirmed reservation, it turns out that my truck was stolen ( that was a lie, and they just didnt have it available ). If that was not enough, they offered to take a 20 instead of 26 promising that I would receive a $50 credit within a week. That was a lie as well. When I called two weeks later to remind about my $50 credit, Brandon ( I think thats his name ) said that no one actually promised that. And the fact that the truck wasnt available is not their fault. Bad experience, poor customer service.

No organization tried renting a van was stated there are none available to see over 8 in the location. Not the 1st time this happened reserved a truck and when I arrived to pick it up was told I needed to drive across town for that size and nothing done for the inconvenience.
They were just hopeful and what I needed it was just a little slow and of course the rate that they have posted is not completely what you have to do when you get to the front at the counter you have to deposit more and they dont say that of course and advertising it thats the only problem in my opinion thank God I had it on me
