Set up a call with me. I made sure my schedule was clear and the call never came. I reached out to the recruiter and no response. I am very busy so I carved out the time for nothing. Time is money in my business. Bush League.
Marlee S., a recruiter, reached out to me to interview for an opportunity. I went through all the interviews and was told after the first two interviews that the company liked me and wanted to move forward. However, after the final interview, the recruiter went silent. I emailed and called her, but received no response. Completely unprofessional, irresponsible, and disrespectful of my time. Employees like this give the company a bad reputation. I will not likely work with this company again.
I can not express enough how pleased and grateful I am to be working with Addison Group. My agent is Julia, and I’m sure you’ve heard of the going above and beyond stories, but I have one to top them all. Julia called me in the middle of a softball tournament, on the other end of the country, to set up a job opportunity. We spoke via phone call and text beyond normal business hours. Julia even asked that I text her after my flight landed to make sure I made it home safely. I was presented with the best job offer I’ve ever had, and just days before the pandemic hit, and the communication has been perfect. Emails and texts are answered immediately, and weekly pay is on time without error every week. Julia continuously checks in to see if I’m happy, and if there is anything more she can do. I know temp agency stories have their nightmares, but the changes they’ve made to their staff at the Philadelphia office are really showing through Julia. Times are tough right now, but this is actually one agency that is working harder to find people positions.
