When i first toured the premier back in 2020, it looked too good to be true. and it was. the newly renovated apartments looked beautiful, but half of our appliances are broken. everything was “new” however my toilet seat was broken, my bathroom door gets stuck and chips the paint off the wall, and my window does not close. when i called maintenance to repair it, they said “sorry can’t fix this” and proceeded to slam it shut while chipping the paint front the wall.the biggest issue i have with the premier is the early morning construction EVERY DAY. i don’t know what they are still working on but they are drilling at 8am waking me and my roommates up every single day. it sounds like they are tearing up the walls right above my room every single morning. my home is supposed to be peaceful and safe. i am a 20 year old college student and the construction workers are pretty creepy too. sometimes they say something to me and watch me walk into my room. if i could get a refund for my lease and completely start over, i would.

It is inconvenient to live here. my entire lease has been nothing but a headache. a home should be a safe space. it has been absolute hell from the first day the new management came in. they only care about the perspective tenants coming in, not the ones that currently live here. the renovations are constant, loud and going on all day every day starting at dawn until late night. i have not slept in weeks. there is no peace here! i am fed up with this place. one time they shut the water off with barely any notice and i couldn’t shower for an entire day. they scheduled a toilet replacement for my unit and the guys showed up 3 days earlier than expected, knocking on my door and woke me up out of my sleep. the people that came for the replacement left my house dirty and a mess. i expected the new updates in my unit to be worth the headache, but somehow the updates made it worse! i saw myself living here for a long time but not anymore. unprofessional, careless, and not accommodating by any means. the new prices they are charging for the units are laughable. this place will never be worth $1600+ a month.

Awful new management/ownership. Money Hungry and dont care about residence rights! No longer complimentary parking is now $100 per car. No longer front desk personal. The worst new package delivery system. Can never get our packages easily. Frustrating! Pool hours/days reduced to weekends only! Building renovations are weekly which require contractors to come into your home several times during a Pandemic. I dont recommend living in this building.

The new management really has made a lot of changes. None of the changes have been a benefit to us residents, the constant construction work is completely an inconvenience. They have taken away the concierge, and the hours for the pool have changed to weekends only . THERE IS NO BUSINESS CENTER.Their Spanish speaking DO NOT Speak ENGLISH. Most of the staff since the new management seems to have been let go. The packaging system is horrible. The parking has gone up tremendously from $30/m to $100. Which is definitely not worth it. Not all areas of the parking lot upper level gets treated properly during the winter. If you ask any worker in the office their response is our corporate office has made these changes. They have cut all the trees down surrounding the property. This place has declined in the matter of months, and I would not recommend anyone starting a new life here . The name premier is not a good catch, in fact the only thing that is being premiered is complete UPSET and no care for hard working people. We pay them to live here they don’t pay us, all they are doing is changing a place that was once comfortable and peaceful to a place of disappointment. The Premier is not on POINT….. Bring back the Point#FREEThePOINT

I have lived in the premier (or previous the point) since April 2019. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The premier is quick to fix issues in their apartments. The AC Unit and heating unit have worked well for me. I have a nice outdoor balcony. As a student as Saint Josephs University, it has been a convenient location for me as well.I live overtop city avenue, and if I had one complaint it is that I can hear the traffic from my apartment. You will need to either get used to sleeping through noise, or use ear plugs (as I do).Overall, I have had a great experience at the Premier. If I were not graduating and moving away, I would be renewing my lease

Hello we are renting since July 1 2019 and we so far like it since it is really central and on the high. But we travel on and off and for long. I am worried now with the new management that the online ordered package would not stay in the storeroom and wait for us till we are back in the summer!! As I just read one of the recebt reviews about the new policy. Some things have changed since we moved in. Like no more sending emails and rarely we see a receptionist. No more grocery it luggage carts fif ys as a family, honestly thst was one of the top the best in this reny. Needs to get them back.Overall we like it with its maintenance folks too, but there needs to be few tweaks here and there.

This is by far the worst place I have lived, im not sure where to start... for anyone apartment hunting id ignore any positive review posted here since it appears theyre mostly college kids who might not have experience living in decent places. Every review about terrible customer service is spot on, even when youve been here for years like I have and have never paid your rent late. The cockroaches are definitely true through out the building... there are also mice in the building... consitant water leaks through ceilings and other structural problems with the building that they hide well with renovations. The new management is constantly cutting corners to save money while inconveniencing tenants. Theyve cut the cleaning staff and maintenance crew which means a dirtier place (in the middle of a pandemic) and longer wait for maintenance requests.Theyve let go of the front desk person who used to sign for tenants packages. Now they hold everyones deliveries in a room without an attendant. You have 7 days to pick up your package or its returned to sender... In order to access your packages you need to give them your credit card first and agree to being charged 5 dollars a day for the days they have to hold it for you. This is beyond inconvenient for someome who might be traveling or unable to get to your package ... considering the amount they charge for rent here and how little you get for it, Id never recommend a place. Way too many problems paired with extremely rude, unhelpful and incompetent management. They wont wait long to make you regret moving into this building.

After living there for 10 years, Ill rate the overall experience especially after the leasing office employers change as Horrible experience! I feel like an ignored customer at a department store who was taken advantage of. It seems like the management only cares about money and NOT the tenant. The property recently changed management. Unfortunately, it seems like the change was for the worse. Looking back I wish I didnt continue living at this accommodation, however in life you live and learn. Management should try their best to value and communicate effectively with their tenants. The current property manager Kevin Campbell needs to at least pretend to appreciate tenants, especially long term tenants. Before the new management, I lived at this accommodation for a decade, recommended new tenants, and always paid on time. However, the new management showed their true colors at the end.Watch where you spend your money. Tenants deserve to be appreciated and valued. Very awful experience, never experienced something like this in my life. This was my experience.

I have lived in this building for 13 months and am moving out soon. My experience at the Point at City Line has been just okay. Overall, I wouldnt recommend it to anyone looking to move to the area. My pros & cons list is at the bottom of the review. My roommate and I are graduate students at Villanova and chose The Point at City Line because it had nice 2 bedroom floor plans, in-unit laundry, garage parking, and was close to the Overbook train station, as I commute by public transit. When we were applying for the apartment, we dealt a lot with Kevin Campbell, who is now the property manager. We continuously asked for pictures of our apartment, and he always made excuses as to why we couldnt see pictures. We were also told that we would have an island/breakfast bar, and didnt know that that wasnt true until we moved in. The apartments are big and have a lot of natural light, and the balcony is amazing! We did notice that there are almost no overhead lights, so getting light in your apartment when its nighttime or cloudy can be really difficult. Having the front desk employees was nice, but the employees are rarely there, so the lobby is unattended and they often leave packages unattended and in full view. They also let anyone into the building, and dont make people sign in. The building offers a gym, pool, and business center. The gym is small, but fine. The pool is not well-taken care of, small, and open for a short time. The business center has outdated equipment, most of the computers dont work, and the printers wont connect to the computers. Someone puts the printers in Arabic and its hard to switch them back to English, and the printers almost never have ink. Further, people let their kids run around the business center/treat it like a playground. The fire alarms, which are dangerously loud, are tripped easily, so expect to have to climb down 20 flights of stairs at least once a month for a false alarm, usually in the middle of the night. If youre not into the smell of marijuana or cigarette smoke, dont move here-- people smoke constantly and the smell gets everywhere. Management sends out emails about not smoking, but doesnt take any action against smokers. Management is also super shady. We had an issue with a loud neighbor that came to a head when the neighbor threatened us. We brought our concerns to Kevin Campbell who said that he sent our neighbor emails and that there was nothing he could do, except move us to a new unit with much higher rent. The management company, PANCO, has no information available online (phone number, email, etc.) so we couldnt take our concerns to the company. We were told in writing that our lease would automatically be renewed at a rate of $1771 month to month, and then it was changed to $3328/mo. Kevin avoided our emails, refused to meet with us, and canceled any meetings we tried to make with him. When we were looking at renewing our lease, the lease prices were insane! We pay $1,771/mo now, and they wanted $2700 for the same apartment! Another leasing agent encouraged us to renew and just break the lease to save us money. If you have guests coming over, tell them not to drive-- theres literally never any parking, and theres only one parking space per apartment. This place looks nice on paper, but I definitely wouldnt recommend it.Pros:-Next to train station & bus stop-In-unit laundry-Gym-Nice floor plans-Nice neighborhood for walking-Pet friendly-Front desk employee to take your packages-Nice views-Nice maintenance workersCons:-Shady management-Fire alarms going off all the time-Lack of parking-Super expensive and not worth the cost-Smells like weed/cigarettes all the time-Loud with City Ave right there (expect to hear motorcycles all the time)-Front desk employees are barely ever there-Not easy to get to stores/restaurants/etc. without a car-Loud neighbors-A lot of crime in the area-Appliances are old and have to be fixed constantly-Takes maintenance a while to do your service requests-Pretty much nonfunctional business center

Hi,Two words for this apartment= STAY AWAY. They dont respect or care about tenants who have been living there for 10 years (so how about new tenants), its obvious they only care about their interest (money). We have lived in these apartments for 10 years never late paying, during Covid-19 we clearly informed them that due to the situation we will like to extend our current lease one month and not move. We were sent an email that our apartment was pre leased. When we reminded them that were in an epidemic (Covid-19) and that were human beings not to be kicked into the streets, they quickly covered up and told us the new person was convinced to move into a new apartment. The fact that we have been living here for 10 years and they put our apartment for pre lease during Covid-19 was very disturbing, humiliating, and possibly illegal. Most importantly, it shows they never cared about us. We are human being who deserve to be respected. The property manager Kevin Campbell was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Until this day we are still waiting for responses for emails we sent that were not answered. Its clear that he and the company didnt respect our 10 years living in their accommodation. Our family is so disappointed. If you dont mind being disrespected and overcharged then this is the perfect place for you.If you want to be treated like human beings with respect, then perhaps you should STAY AWAY.Lastly, we hope in the future that no tenant will be informed that their apartment is going to be pre leased especially during an epidemic such as Covid-19. By the way, I would like to mention, you didnt do us a favor by convincing the new person to move into a new apartment as you say( if there really was a new tenant- probably wasnt, currently there are so many empty apartments), as human beingsit was our right to stay in our accommodation during this epidemic as we informed you.Kevin Campbell kindly be aware that tenants are human beings who deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.Thank you for reading and we wish you all the best.

The apartments are big but old. A lot of storage space. The hallways are always infested with food smells or marijuana smell. Cigarette smells go in the apartment via the vent of the bathroom and kitchen. The building is full of students since the university is right outside so if this is not the ambience your looking for, this is not your place. The management people are nice but getting them to fix things can be a hassle. My washing machine was broken for more than a month. Some time ago a guy who did not live in the building got in and stayed in an empty one for days until a neighbor complained of him walking around naked. When they went to see who the guy was, he jumped from the balcony.During pool season its a mess. People from other places come in and hang out as if they live or knew someone who lives there. No security! The people who are suppose to be in front desk are doing things around the building quite often. There was even a couple having sex in the pool while other kids where also in the pool. Also 4 cars got broken into in the garage because again, theres no real security. You will find neighbors complaining amongst each other in the elevators with all kinds of issues they face. Thats when you can actually use the elevators because they brake ALL THE TIME.So dont be fooled by the property tour, the recent changes (that have not made a difference) and the nice lobby. In my floor we had 4 girl who were making parties all week and using so much marijuana that it was just unbearable to smell. During one of those parties they were caught on camera stealing the lobby furniture and all the property management did was give them a notice not to do it again. The fire alarm rings at least once a month and during winter months its at least 3 times a month but its always for no real fire. They have carts for everyone to use but people actually keep them, never return them, and theres no control from the management on this either.Watch out for dog poop when you are walking around the property because people dont pick it up and people also leave the trash bags outside the trash chutes and hallways as well. The computer area is also a scam because the computers are always malfunctioning in one way or another. The gym machines also brake down all the time.If you want to live in a trash can and pay $1300-$1500 a month for it, this is your place. Welcome to The Point at City Line!If you are looking to pay around the same price but for a place that is actually worth it then look around the area for other properties, theres many more, believe me. I left this place as soon as my lease ended.

Worse security ever!1. Nobody asks for any ID nor signature from the visitors.2. Several cars inside the garage got broken into this past summer 2015.3. April 2016 several tenants were complaining about this men that was walking around naked and after several days the management decided to find out what was going on. It turns out that it was a homeless guy living in an unoccupied apt. who ended up jumping from the balcony when he got caught.4. Concierge people are always out of the lobby.5. They are always keeping every incident quiet because they dont want people to complain about how bad the security is here.6. A pedophile was inside the computer lounge and a homeless lady was living in the lounge while also enjoying all the amenities without being removed from the building.7. Garage doors are always open or not working.Other details about the building:Electric power and water are down often, fire alarms ring constantly at any time for non fire issues.

I moved into The Point at City Line in August 2017 for my junior year of college at Saint Josephs University. Little did I know that the next 2 years that I would spent living at the high rise would be extremely eventful. Let me begin by saying that the apartment building itself is quite nice, the balcony provides a great view of either the city or city avenue, depending on which side you are. Albeit this is only possible if you live above a certain floor. The location of The Point is advantageous since it is right next to Overbrook Station and is just a 10 minute walk to Saint Josephs University campus. That being said, my roommates and I encountered many inconveniences while staying here, which mainly came down to incompetent management. There were an incessant amount of fire alarms that would go off in the middle of the night and we would have to climb down from the 11th floor multiple times. Once this occurred because someone burnt a piece of fish and smoke engulfed their entire floor, so I do not blame management for that one. However, there were many other occurrences where this happened and the residents were never given any explanation as to why we were awoken at 2am in the morning on a week night! One of my main concerns about The Point was the concerning lack of security. The front desk lady usually departs at 6pm and during the night the entire lobby is left unattended, allowing all sorts of people to loiter by the entrance and enter the building as soon as someone opens the door. This is a huge security risk! The swimming pool is only open for a brief period of time during the summer, and I would feel quite uncomfortable during the occasional times I went for a swim because the lifeguard would literally sit right in front of the pool. I understand that this is a security measure, but surely the lifeguard could sit a bit further away. I always felt that my personal space was being invaded! The lounge is listed as one of the amenities the building provides, but there are several problems. The coffee machine normally does not work since it is serviced very infrequently. The internet is also faulty and the printers do not work well. One of the bright spots of The Point was the two superb maintenance men. They were always very friendly and welcoming. Whenever we had an issue at our apartment they would swiftly resolve the problem. There was one time while I was living on the 11th floor, my roommate received a phone call from his mother about complaints that management had against him. I was surprised to hear about this, as we would have preferred that management contact us directly to air any grievances as opposed to speak to our parents first. Possibly my biggest problem with management was when I moved from the 11th floor to the 17th. I had to fill out paperwork for the move, and provided management all the documentation that was required. To my disbelief, they later emailed me saying that they had lost all the paperwork that I had filled out! I was stunned to learn this because there was sensitive information in the paperwork, including my social security number! Thankfully I did not become a victim of identity theft or anything worse! I will praise management for one thing: they organized great parties! The summer BBQ was a great success and so was the Christmas dinner! However, the worst was yet to come. We moved out of The Point in 2019, and for some reason we were billed $200 on our closing account. When my roommates mother asked why this payment was included, management replied by saying that our apartment needed excessive cleaning. This was simply not true, as we were all very neat and tidy, and even cleaned the apartment before vacating it. We asked for pictures of the areas in the apartment that needed cleaning so we could see what damage was done. To my amazement, the Point sent us pictures of the WRONG apartment! They had overcharged us for cleaning someone elses apartment! We were almost hoodwinked, bamboozled, and cuckolded! Overall, the Point is a nice building but needs better management.

This is the worst place to live in. I have been living here for close to 3 months now and already regretting my decision. There are always one issue or the other. Sometimes one elevator is down out of three, then car parking key fob does not work, some one parks their car at your designated spot, fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night. You will start getting reminders about the rent 2 weeks before the start of new month. I have rented so many places but never seen anywhere sending reminders for rent. The place is overpriced too than other apartment buildings in the vicinity. If your apartment is not facing the Center City, the noise from Route 1 traffic will make life more difficult.I had the service guy doing a post-service inspection in the apartment in my absence without any prior notice.

Apartment full of Roaches and Bed bugs. Please dont rent this apartment if you are student, they will try to rip off during the move out.I moved to point at city line in Aug 2017 and on the first day of our move in we find bed bugs in our apartment and reported to management and they took two months to fix it and the property manager is very rude when we asked about this. The management and Point at City line/ Panco management behaves very polite during signing lease but after you move in they behave very rude, I dont if they do for everyone or just with students. The Maintenance is very bad they wont resolve maintenance issues in the apartment very soon, you have to call 10 times to get work done. The whole upper corner apartments are infected with roaches and the roaches come from the sewer, bathrooms, sinks into the apartment. the management wont take any responsibility about it.During the time of move out they behave very rude, they charged me around $2400 for no reason and they will send you final bill directly to Collection agency before even sending to you. you need to deal with collection agency to pay or claim it.They wont respond to your phone calls, emails once you move out, they will charge to and hand to collection agency.I regret myself for moving into this apartment, they charged me $2400 and when I tried calling to office to ask about it they used to avoid my phone calls and emails. I then sent like 15 emails to higher management at Panco and one of the Vice President just responded to me that I need to deal with Collection agency about the charge.I dont have that time or patience to deal anymore with them and paid whole amount to collection agency. Please to lease especially if you are a International student, they will rip-off during the move it.

Great view but full of roaches. My girlfriend has been living here for the past 4 months, the first night here three roaches. The management staff acted surprised and said that this never happens and the people that had the apartment before were very dirty and that it would be taken care of right away. The pest control company says its not that bad and does the minimum. When complaining to corrin the property manager she tells them shes doing everything she can and it will be resolved, needless to say four months later its not. The pest control company now says its the two floors above and below and the entire corner of the building is having a problem. This is no closer to being resolved then it was on day one and management is more annoyed that they have to deal with it then concerned that they have roaches throughout and entire section of their buildingUpdate 07/26/18Actually no i dont believe you do take it very seriously seeing as she e mailed you a week ago and you never even bothered to respond. The only thing that has happened since we posted this review is the problem has nearly doubled. Every time we complain to any staff member they essentially roll their eyes and tell us were doing the best we can. If the best you can do is relocate the roach infestation to different apartments then what is the point? The apartment P315 which was apparently the source of the infestation, has now moved out as of 7/23/18, the roaches have decided to relocate en masse to the lower apartments. Apartment P315 has already been rented, and Im sure they have not been made aware of the roach issue which one of the exterminators described to us as one of the worst Ive seen. Since 7/23/18 we have seen well over 20 roaches, we save the ones that we arent forced to crush in order for the exterminator to hopefully identify and be able to better control. I attached a picture of the ones we were able to save which shows numerous different breeds and one with an egg, as well as one i had to kill while taking the picture. Keep in mind this is over the course of three days, and we live 3 floors below the main point of the infestation. No one has apologized once for any of this, meanwhile we are now in the middle of packing anything inside the kitchen into rubber containers just to be sure roaches arent crawling inside our cups and on our silverware. Im sure no one from panco will come to check on the infestation, it would be a shame if they were to bring any roaches back home with them and develope any sort of infestation.

They claim to be a high end luxury building and definitely are charging high end luxury building prices ($2000 after parking and expenses for a 1 bedroom) but they do not even have a electric vehicle charging station. Every single other building in the area (and they are better priced) has a EV charging station. They can not ask for their high prices and not provide modern necessities like a place to charge electric vehicles. Its 2021, get with modern times. All the other buildings in the area have EV charging stations and they have way better pricing. Look elsewhere.
