I accidentally came across this rental agency midway into my first ever search for an apartment in Philadelphia. They were so cooperative with listening to my specific criteria & drafted a suitable list of apartments. Alex was very responsive and patient. He created a schedule of back to back apartment viewings. Fabiana, another agent met us for the day and supplied us with friendly honest opinions as we toured every single unit.Despite not finding our dream house that round. Alex worked with me and found yet another list of houses to tour. He even provided videos of the units! Can’t get more descriptive than that! After finding out on short-notice that Id be moving to Philadelphia for a job, I began the stressful process of looking remotely for apartment rentals. I searched online (all the apartment/condo rental websites, Craigslist, etc) 24/7 for about 2 weeks and had no luck; the most frustrating part was that properties/leasing agents wouldnt answer their phones or return my voicemails/emails, so I was completely in the dark. Eventually I came across a property that was listed by Rent Scene, and I cant say enough good things about the service I received! I inquired about the property around 12:20 pm and received an email from Alex by 12:50 pm. He promptly/thoroughly answered all of my questions (up to 10:00 pm on a Friday night!) and was able to arrange for me to see the unit early the following morning with Fabiana. Fabiana arrived on time, gave us a wonderful tour, and provided us with a ton of fantastic general advice on renting in Philadelphia. While another prospective tenant quickly leased this unit, Fabiana and Alex made themselves available to me via text/email and even contacted me in the following day(s) to check on my apartment search and provide me with leads on other properties. Rent Scene is terrific! I would use them every time and wish they would be in all cities. They provided me with a terrific list of apartments and adjusted it as I better understood what I wanted in my apartment. Once we decided on a list of apartments, Rent Scene quickly set up a full-day tour for us to view all of the apartments. When we fell in love with one apartment, and another party was also interested in the apartment, Rent Scene quickly moved to help us fill out the applications, give us tips on what might make us more attractive to the landlord (like offering 2 years and having a co-signer) and kept us updated throughout the process to be able to sign the apartment lease in under 48 hours!

Its been a year since we worked with Casey and found our great rowhouse! We were relocating from Michigan back to Philly and had a very bad experience with a different rental agent trying to navigate not only renting long distance, but since my husband does a lot of freelancing, being able to process the ten million pieces of paperwork that comes with that. Casey did it all amazingly- he offered a video tour of the house, took pictures, got measurements, was a great go between with the landlord and made payment and document signing super easy all from far away. Our place looked even better in person, our landlord is the best we have ever had and we plan on staying here until we buy a home- which Casey said Rent Scene can help with when we are ready. Rent Scene is amazing. I moved to Philadelphia for residency and did not have a lot of time to spend looking for apartments. They do so much work and are seriously the best at responding. Rent Scene did a great job of setting up showings in Philadelphia. I didnt know that the showing agent was going to be a different person than the person that I emailed with to pick apartments (I believe the showing agent was contracted out). The showing agent was really nice and informative, so it turned out fine. I only wish I could have gotten more information about the different neighborhoods while I was searching for listings, but that is hard to do via phone or email. I ultimately signed for an apartment that I had found via my own searching, but the viewings organized by Rent Scene were good second choice options.

Rent Scene is a middleman company, standing in between you and the rental agencies / landlords that own the apartments you’re looking for. The bottom line: it works. Rent Scene went above and beyond to find an apartment that fits my needs, and it didn’t cost me a single cent. They put together three different lists of apartments for me to check out based on my specifications, in three different target neighborhoods. They were responsive when I brought up my hesitations about a certain rental agency, and upfront with me when I had questions about their business. They were able to set up last-minute, same-day apartment viewings - one of which would take me to the residence that I’m currently typing this from now. Overall the service was stellar, professional, and a bit of a no-brainer. The only downside that I can see to using Rent Scene would be a limitation of choice - in my understanding, they’ll only find you apartments with leasing agencies and landlords that have a deal set up with them. However, I can safely say that this limitation did not adversely affect me. My experience with Rent Scene was excellent!

I moved to Philadelphia from Boston for a new job and was crunched for time with finding a place in the city close to a train station. I worked with Tori and could not have been more pleased with the process. I was blown away by how quickly she was able to get me into places to look at and help with my transition. After getting in touch with her, right away she was able to set me up with numerous places to look at based on my price range as well as the area I was looking to rent in. I am new to the city, so I had no idea where any of the places were, but she navigated me around the city and she made the whole process very simple for me. I got lost a few times thinking I knew where I was going, which I then called her and within minutes she was able to set me back on the correct path. I was extremely impressed by how patient she was, as I had no idea where anything in the city was or the names of the different sections of the city. Because I was crunched for time, I hoped to find a place my first weekend in the city, even though I knew this would be a huge challenge. Tori went above and beyond to show numerous places for the majority of Saturday as well as more places that Sunday morning before I had to leave. I moved from Atlanta to Philadelphia for grad school and didnt have much insight into what my housing options were. The Rent Scene website helped me filter my search based on some of the criteria that were important to me (e.g. monthly rent, vicinity to school, amenities, etc.). Once I made the trip out to Philadelphia to look at some of the more promising options, Marvis was very flexible in terms of scheduling tours, checking out units that I was interested in, and proposing a few other options that I hadn’t considered that aligned with my criteria. After getting accepted into a post-graduate program in Philadelphia I immediately began my online search for the perfect pet friendly apartment to spend the next 2+ years in. Moving is literally one of the most painful experiences known to (wo)man! Rent Scene made this process much less overwhelming for a young lady who knew absolutely nothing about Philly. I connected with Marvis, the founder, many times before and after both of my tours to ensure I found a spot that met all of my qualifications (e.g., price, amenities, proximity to school/food/clubs, etc.). When the first place did not work out, he went into overdrive to help me find another.
