Al made finding and renting a home such a breeze . He was very upfront and honest & communicative and easy to reach to answer any questions at all times . If you are going with commerce ask for him every time . I appreciate him a lot .

This was the worst renting experience I’ve ever had. They let me live for multiple days on the first floor of an apartment in center city philadelphia with a open window. I was so concerned for my safety that I asked the building manager to get involved. It took multiple emails and calls to get it fixed 4 days later. We also had a fire alarm at the top of our 18 foot ceilings that went off every 30 seconds and took 3 days to fix. They were completely negligent and non responsive. We loved our location and apartment but could not stand dealing with this company for another day so we moved. I would not recommend that anyone rent from this company.

Me and .you wife put in an app our credit was good background good. The app cost 50 dollars a pop. They never hit us back and we called nearly everyday. Then we look online and they rented out the apartment

Beyond disrespectful miss ivy the only relator they have is very rude as you see in other commitments also the office were just as rude they all hung up on my about 4 times also miss ivy called my personal phone to insults me. And left me and my son with no house after I gave everything they asked for so rude I do not recommend very disrespectful and cold hearted

I really wanted this house from them I met the financial qualification but not the credit score, instead of working with me I had to find a cosigner which I didnt but other then that the lady I spoke to Ms Ivy was very nice on the phone.

This is a scam if Ive ever seen one. You Must pay $45 fee just to view an apartment? That is NOT how ANY reputable real estate agency works. Dont believe me? Call around. I assure you that you will find any other agency is it doing that. Please do not let these people get your money. Yes, its only $45 but its $45 you could be putting on a place you can actually move into. I called and asked to speak to a manager or on site supervisor and the woman on the phone acted is if I told her to bring me Santa Claus in the flesh. Do not screw yourself out of your money. Just look somewhere else, dont be a sucker for the price. And if you are keep in mind youre giving these crooks ALL your info, social security #, address, etc. If that alone is not a deterrent, I dont know what is.

A week of unanswered phone calls and a 45$ app fee BEFORE you see anything. No one else does that. I understand they got to make there money somewhere but this is nickel and diming to the highest degree. And it seems that this is an agency where slumlords flock to and Commerce is totally okay with the slimy tactics. Where is the moral compass?

Horrible service. Had to interrupt my work day multiple times a day, every day, for a whole week to get a routine repair completed in my apartment. I have been transferred to voicemail by the receptionist dozens of times while going through commerce as property manager for my apartment. I love the apartment itself but commerce is so awful I have been considering leaving the apartment just to never have to deal with them again. Commerce clearly does not even remotely care about any of the properties they manage and their tenants, and ultimately are blatantly disrespectful.

I don’t know why all the bad reviews. Me and my family been in our house for 2 years and love it here. Any problems we had they handled right away. They are great with being understanding if your rent is late and the staff is nice. I always can call if I have a question or a problem and they stay on top of it. They have been better than any company I had in the past.

The worst of the worst...you call 50 million times b4 they take the time to come out and fix anything...but they never have a problem collecting ur rent that mainly 1 week b4 due date..it a shame that you go thru this when all you want is to live comfortably...doesn’t make any sense to me...hopefully I will be out of this property after my lease is over..thumbs down..

They have very good prices on their properties. Not the most attentive but we pay less than our neighbors who go through a different reality. I have no children which is good because we still have lead paint, probably never had it tested but it chips. Dont eat the paint. If you have a good tenet score this is the place to rent from. They will not play games with people low on that score or low on credit. I will rent from them again. However will probably be buying a house by the time Im ready to move. 5/5

I called this place up at 10am on a Thursday and their voicemail says its after-hours and theyre closed? What Mickey Mouse operation are they running here? Website doesnt work: at all, no information. Theyre doing craigslist postings, but Id look elsewhere.

I called to view a property, and the woman that answered was very short. I asked to know more about it since there was nothing but a street view picture and a basic description listed. She immediately told me I wouldnt be able to physically visit the property until I filled out a credit application and submitted my ID. Ive dealt with a lot of realty companies in the area and have never been asked to submit money before viewing a home. Use caution.

They are the worst! They refused to fix the home I stayed in with my children. The roof fell in and mold grew on the walls and in the closet. For 8 months we had to use buckets to catch the rain while waiting for LNI to do all their Inspections. I will never rent a home from them again. The owner of Commerce beg us not to go to court, but tried to sue us. They Are The Worst I Promise!!!

Refuse to show me a property they had for rent, they said I have to pay $45 for an application fee to view any property which the application is only good for 3 months. after 3 months I have to pay another $45 app fee. why do I have to pay to see a property I might not like? rip off.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW: If I could give this place negative stars I would. I dont even know where to begin with this establishment. How about the fact that they attempted to evict me from a rental property they never even had a license to rent to in the first place. ILLEGAL. Also, they tried to keep me in a house with NO HEAT in the middle of November. They told me they would waive my rent for the inconvenience, but instead they tried to use that as grounds to evict me from a rental they were illegally renting out. Not to mention they do not fix a thing in the property. There are so many L&I violations against them. They are cheaper to rent with, if you basically want to take care of every single repair you will have. My suggestion is if you absolutely have to rent from this place...keep every receipt, research the property before you move in, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AS A TENANT, if you are current on your rent and they try to evict you for nonsense, go to Landlord and Tenant Court and/or Fair Housing Commission. However, by all means necessary, DO NOT RENT FROM COMMERCE REAL ESTATE. They are more than a scam. They will leave you on the street with no where to go. I refused to let them mistreat me, so I fought them in court and won, but I know a lot of others did not do so.

Horrible. The owner, Al Nocentino and his staff are nothing but liars and thiefs. They make up phony repairs, cheat you right and left. I never saw such dishonesty i my entire life.

Youve got to look at most of these 1 star reviews as 5 star reviews: many of them written by deadbeat tenants who feel entitled to live in their landlords properties for free that Commerce is so efficient in quickly evicting. Others are written by tenants who should be blaming their deadbeat landlords instead for not authorizing requested repairs. This review is addressing the landlords out there. So you took that real estate investment workshop. You got an LLC. You fixed up that home and got a HELOC. You got you first low end rental in Kensington. Now youre looking for a property manager. Good luck getting ANYONE to handle your $30000 account the way they would if your portfolio was 7 figures. Commerce is the closest as you will ever come to that. Al Nocentino and his team have really ramped up their game in recent years: always good on the eviction side, and now 10 times better on the acquisitions and tenant screening side. They are also extremely reasonable and honest when it comes to repairs, more so then any general contractor I ever worked directly with. They even covered a multi thousand dollar rehab, not sending me the bill and taking the money out of rent receipts over the course of several months. Who else does that? Plus they charge a mere 7% with a couple $5 fees thrown in. Everybody who is good at something was once bad at something, and the Commerce Real Estate of 2018 is far and away better than they use to be.

I have been waiting 2 years for repairs and when they finally come to repair what they repair needs to be repaired. They replaced a stove with a another broken stove. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

Reviews matters when three or more say bad you should believe it. I called this Morning to check on a rental and the person that answered the phone needs a class on customer service then I read the reviews and now I understand.

VEry dishonest . Pure thieves. They claim they do repairs but they lie and make you feel like your property is going to fall apart if you dot absolutely pay them as much as they want. they are such liars and thieves beyond belief.

Worse customer service! I have had frozen water pipes for over 2 weeks, and they do not care. they give you attitude no matter how polite you can be. You have to constantly harass them in order to get something fixed.
