Great service, massaged my shoulders and back which was nice during my manicure. Covid precautions were upheld and it’s cheaper if you pay cash. I docked one star because i got nicked during the manicure and now have a small cut on my pinky and all my nails aren’t the same length which i don’t particularly like. Overall, I’d go back it was pleasant.
This nail salon was awesome! They put a lot of care and effort into my Mani Pedi 🖤
This is my second time coming back here and I asked for a dip mani/reg polish pedi. I had no polish on my toes, and dip powder on my nails. The girl just painted the polish on my toes without any water or anything involved. When she got to my nails I asked her to trim them a bit but keep the shape (almond) and she cut the one side and then did not now how to keep my shape. I left without my nails getting painted because my nails were misshaped and uneven. :( I was charged $22.
Shoulder massage included with pedicure! Very clean, taking good covid precautions with shower curtains around pedicure chairs. Well priced for the city too
Convenient location in proximity to my home & Walking distance for me. Peaceful environment & comparable peices. Staff is polite & friendly.
I went here because this was closer to my home and I read reviews that it was good. Totally not worth it! I paid $85 for a basic mani & pedi which is not worth that much at all especially if I had to correct them 6 times to re-do the paint job. For the manicure, I could see the spots they missed when it was under the UV machine. I asked for a simple heart design which the nail tech messed up. She tried it again. But it looked as if a toddler did it. So I left it as is. She started the massage and 20 seconds into it, she started talking to her coworker and forgot about it. I honestly dont know what the hype is about.PS: A few hours later after I washed my hands, I noticed the color on few of my fingers started chipping away.
Not only does the staff here do a fantastic manicure/pedicure, but when I dropped my cash on the walk in yesterday they all came out to help and tracked it down! Just a wonderful group of people to have in the neighborhood willing to go above and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend them!
If you have kinky hair and or darker skin this is NOT the place for you to receive services.I dislike using the race card as some would say however it’s not rocket science that people with higher content of melanin in their skin get discriminated against.Let’s start with the Phone call. Before I went into this business I called and spoke to someone on the phone and they gave me a price for a pedicure however when The nail tech was done the services I was told another price that doubled from the original. Not to mention The woman that did my manicure took no pride in her work whatsoever. It was a rush job And the polish was very sloppy.I had to keep asking her to fix my nail polish and she kept getting an attitude when I told her that it was not done correctly.Another woman did my pedicure and it was just okay. I am not raving about it...When I was finished I had to sit Under the dryer to let my nails and feet dry however I kept getting rushed to pay the payment after everyone in the salon knew that I did not get a gel manicure. I guess they thought I was not going to make the payment. Not to mention they kept a rotation around me; All of them one by one kept hovering over me to watch me to make sure I was going to pay for my service. I have no clue what would give them the impression that I would not pay. Mind you I was the only in there Being treated this way and guess what my skin color was...Anyway...The woman were very rude to me when I wanted to discuss the payment. Yet I paid anyway and still tipped my pedi tech.Upon my exit I asked if I could buy a pair of slippers. The lady told me that she did not have any slippers in stock however when I first arrived there, before I even took my boots off I asked the lady did she have slippers and she said yes they have them available for purchase once the pedicure is finished. As I was leaving I asked the woman if I could buy a pair of slippers and then she told me no she did not have any.I then said “Miss, you just told me you had slippers for sale and now you’re saying you don’t have any?”she then says “well I do but I don’t know what size you wear.” so Then i said you know what I don’t even want to buy them from here and I left.I don’t like using the Race card because the sad reality of it is that I am used to it and I am numb to this type of treatment. It’s not cool but when you mention it everyone thinks “it’s all in your head.”To my sisters please never ever go to this placeAnd to anyone that believes that fair is fair and people should not be judged off of their skin color should not support this business either. All I can say is that I will never go there again. Two Thumbs Down.
The sloppiest manicure I’ve ever had. The woman had no idea what she was doing. Crooked filing and she painted one coat of polish on my right hand then immediately started painting a second coat on the same hand. It was difficult to communicate because she didn’t understand any English. I had to guide her to allow the first coat to dry a bit and apply a coat of polish to my other hand. Seriously? Inexpensive but NOT worth it. I had to fix my nails as soon as I got home.
They get me rite
Pedicure was fine, but they charged me $30 when the sign outside clearly said $20 because they gave me a massage that I did not ask for while my toes dried. Ive been to other places where this service was included, so didnt even think about telling the woman to stop or thinking Id be charged extra. I asked, considering it was my first time in the salon, if I could have the $20 rate and would remember for next time to ask for NO massage. She said yes and charged me $30 anyway lol, taking recs for new nail salons in the grad hospital area!
My favorite nail salon ask for Sophia she is the best tech 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The prices are extremely high. The service is so so
Lovely neighborhood nail salon. Great staff. Kid friendly too.
Super disappointed with this salon. The service was lovely. However, after 3 days my manicure chipped and after 6, my pedicure. I also had my daughte’s nails done for an event and hers lasted less time. It was not cheap so I will not be returning.
SNS also known as dip gel is official here. Its lasted more than 3 weeks. Ive encountered more shops that have it and cant do it correctly because the polish comes off in less than a week or it had a matte mushy finish.
Girls are trying hard here, are attentive and polite. The service was good.
Wonderful Service. Sophia is the best.
Horrible they are prejudice.. Went in tbere and she kept telling me she didnt know what to do but was quoting prices that I didnt ask about I just want my nails done.. How do you dont know what to do wben you do nails all day everyday.. Then she said 13.00 for a refill then changed and said 45.00 anc got up.So that was telling me she didnt want to do my nails Prejudice
