No No No No No No No! I think the only thing that any one will find pleasure and comfort in is from the name of this place. I went here for a pedicure where three two individuals greeted me in their well expected barren shop. I can assure you that I have been to plenty of nail shops and this is the most capacious one Ive been to but it lacks and sense of sanitation. Let me first begin by saying that this was during the pandemic. One of the individuals did not have on a mask, and the place and its products and seats are old filled with dust and dander. As I sat down and tried to adjust the seat it gave off a old yelling noise as if a cat had just been thrown across the room, now that I think about it Im not even sure if the seat ever adjusted. The arm rest was filled with dirt and grime that obviously had been ignored for months on top of months and the floor next to the chairs obviously have not been mopped in some weeks.With no cogitation of how to run a business during COVID I was greeted by a sweet woman from Cambodia who began to bring over reused filers and nail equipment from other clients. As I could tell the woman who did my feet informed me that she had just been hired in January. She cut my nails too low to the skin and left the shape of them out of kilter. Needless to say I left the place limping as one of my toes had been cut.This place has so much potential, but the place is just trifling. The garbage tops are lined with old debris and dried up liquid waste and the nail products were topped with dust and caked up product around the nose and necks of the bottles. Now this would make sense especially since that I hope many people are not coming here. The place is just filthy and I for damn sure dont wont old products to be used on my feet that were used on other clients. What a damn shame; you all are definitely lucky I cant leave 0 stars. I am actually disgusted that I gave you my precious time for this review, but I need you all to do MUCH better and for customers to stay away! I would recommend taking Lotus of their name. This is not a place you can relax and feel clean at all! What a damn shame Philadelphia and South St.

Absolute best experience ever - not only did I get mani pedi but a show. Most entertaining experience - already booked my second appointment and have converted from my previous place. Can’t recommend enough but not for the faint of heart. I felt as though I was hanging out with old friends. Highly recommend!!!!!!

This place was absolutely amazing. Everyone there was super friendly and gave such a welcoming feel. My friend and I went there last night very close to closing time and they still gave us such a good experience on such a short notice. The nails are by far the best I have had. It was an amazing environment to be in. I noticed they got everyone’s name that came in and spoke to them like they’ve known them for awhile which gave such a personal touch to it. Even though it is a decent drive from me, I will definitely be returning to get my nails done again.

This my first visit here and it was amazing! Very friendly staff. They were able to fit me in last minute and the nail tech Amie even stayed late to do my nails. She did an amazing job! The shape was perfect and she recommended a color that was exactly what I was looking for.

Do. Not. Go. Find another nail salon. I paid $190 for a SHORT full set with Swarovski as my design. I thought I was getting regular rhinestones. She could have at least let me know what I was paying for ahead of time. I came all the way from md for a girls trip and didn’t expect to have to pay that much. Full sets usually are 100 max for me. My nails aren’t even in length as well. Definitely poor service for the price.

We had wonderful conversation and the atmosphere is like no other. Plus if you are apart of the LGBTQ+ community this is a place you can truly feel welcomed and safe. I was charged $90.00 for a gel builder manicure. Not told everything was an extra.I was shocked when I paid,then even more shocked when after 3days it was peeling off.Its really too bad,I so wanted to like this this salon,DO NOT go by the prices on line,unless they decided to just rip me off!!

I got the gel manicure and their staff is really sweet but I had to go back for pen fix up of a chipped nail the day after and then that same week I went on vacation and my top coat started to peel off on day one on another nail

Ive only been here three times so far, but I already know I wont need to go anywhere else. The staff is so friendly, funny, and welcoming, and the prices are fair for the work that they do. Tina has done my nails the past two times Ive gone, and shes kept the shape beautifully and always makes sure I sit under the light long enough so I dont screw up my new polish. Love this place so much.

Fantastic. Beautiful environment. Impeccable service. They took their time. I went in for a pedicure only because other salons had been damaging my fingernails. The service was so good I decided to get a manicure and eyebrow waxing. Five days later and my nails are perfect! My bill was a total of $10 more than what I usually pay. Worth every cent.

The nail tech I had was great but the unprofessional manner of her co workers and the music selection was unacceptable for any salon or place of business. The shop needs a serious cleaning. For the location and the prices I expected more.

This place was very nice and friendly. They would’ve gotten 5 stars except I got a refill of my lashes done there one night and they have not recovered since. It’s been almost 3 months, I still have a few lingering lashes that will not come off. I don’t know what kind of adhesive was used on my eyes but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were some kind of gorilla glue. Not to mention the width of the lash was almost 5x my actual lash and was weighing down my real lashes. My lashes have not grown back after this visit. Wouldn’t recommend unless you know exactly what you’re getting.

I would never visit here again they did a horrible job and were way too pricey. When I would ask them about the price they would never tell me a flat price and charged me $120 for my full-set. Not worth the trip. Don’t waste your money.

Set up an appointment for a haircut. On the phone she said it would be free because I was a first time customer. Show up and she washes my hair, gives me an awful haircut, and THEN CHARGED ME for both the wash and the haircut. When I confronted her, she just stayed quiet and refused to acknowledge my claims.Stay away.

I called at 7:40pm, was told they take their last appointment at 8:30pm. I own Another Planet Barber Shop, LLC at 808 South St 💈& I explained I still had one more client to service and might be 20mins late. I called back at 8:40pm informing them that I was just now able to lock up and drive up. They said, no problem hunnie we will see you soon. When I got there I was welcomed in with love and open arms then offered a glass of wine. 🍷She knew I was thirsty lol. I had a sweet experience in this establishment. While another local nail spot I was goin to for years & over compensated the techs, would not accommodate me and left me really discouraged. But I came here 1st time on a late night & was understood & respected. This establishment is LGBTQIA 🏳️‍🌈 owned and operated, as mine. I wish I came in sooner. Amy was kind and understanding the demand of the industry and congratulated me for being the number one barbershop in the state of PA. So, I wanted to take the time to give that love back. Subpar experience. Over priced for quality of service. Nail tech talked to me during the whole pedicure, made it difficult to relax as she kept stopping the massage to make comments.

I wanted to love this place, as the staff were sweet and friendly. While the prices are up there compared to most salons, I thought it would come with quality given the area. My gel manicure came to $12 more ($35) than the listed price ($23) on the website and pamphlet, which I dont understand. My nail beds are actually much smaller than that average person. Like kids fingers practically. Not like they had to waste extra polish or time evening it. The manicure was also pretty uneven and thin in places, inconsistent at the cuticle, upon closer inspection. My friend got her toes done. The polish came completely off her pinkie toe in less than 48hrs (and its still winter weather, she hasnt exposed her feet or done anything with them other than bathe and wear socks). Dollar store polish doesnt even come off that quickly so we were both pretty disappointed. Everyone in the place was offered wine except me for whatever reason, had I had wine I would have assumed thats why my manicure was potentially so expensive, like a hidden cost... But alas I had none so...The perks that MAY bring me back just to support a business are this is one of the only centrally located salons that does dip powder (never had it done but hear good things and if I decide to, this would be convenient, though Im skeptical if something as simply as gel couldnt be executed well). They have a dog and it seems other people can bring small well behaved dogs as well. Im a sucker for a place I can bring my little one. They serve wine... which is a nice touch. Could be nicer had I been offered any. They are queer friendly and employ queer people! Probably my favorite part. Everything is clean. No one is rushing you. You dont feel talked about. In fact they dont really talk to one another, they talk to their client. They are also open late (10pm) and for us on that day there was no wait at all. We were immediately seated.

Great nails. But the payment system isn’t consistent and after getting my nails done I had to walk down the street to a random convenient store to take out cash to pay. They tried to say it was my account but I had repeatedly stated I had more than enough, they had me wait on the phone with my bank, and after walking to the atm and back I didn’t even receive the slightest apology for their system being insupportable. My card clearly works if the ATM read it no problem, so it was obviously their system. Not to mention, the person I left my ID with as I went to the ATM forgot to give me back my ID and I had to ask for it when it was clearly in his hands. I was in love with their work and it was my first time going there, but now they’ve lost a prospective consistent loyal customer. Hate to say, but be more accountable for your slip ups.

I did not find this place comfortable or the staff friendly. Mid-way doing my nails staff stated they no longer felt like finishing so I waited a long time for someone else to take-over. I wanted to leave but at that point, I was halfway through my nails. I returned a second time in case it was a one time negative experience, but the atmosphere was similar. There are other aspects of this salon I respect but I wont return because the experience was the opposite of a relaxing time.
