My man Nick takes very good care of my nails. I used to have very brittle nails but since he started doing the dip power, my nails have grown.They have a great selection of colors and design options.

I love this place. Just a simple gel white nail today and toes. I love my mani pedis. The hot stone is everything AND...the prices are reasonable.

Great detail to nails

I have been going to Christie’s now for about two months. I wanted to try another technician so I made an appointment two weeks in advance with Mihan. When I arrived I was told that Mihan does not feel comfortable providing my services. I am not sure if this had to do with my race or not. When I’ve visited the salon in the past, I’ve never seen Mihan refuse services for Caucasian clients. This was very upsetting because the appointment was made two weeks in advance. I wish I didn’t have to select any stars.

Totally different environment since Christie left. Went in tonight at 5:30, asked if they were still taking people. All 5 tech looked at one another but no one responded. I asked again and everyone just stared at me. I asked 3 times before I got a response and was asked to come back tomorrow. I called first and was told they close at 6 and theyll take the last person at 5:30. I wont be back. Ive been going since the Christie days but it has definitely fallen off since changing owners. Wont be back.

My go-to place for a mani-pedi. Ive tried others in Manayunk but they dont compare. Good service, Ive always been sat within a couple of minutes, and my nails last really long.

I think Christies Nails is a great facility. The pedicures are perfectly executed, and they come with a hot rock massage, and neck massage while your feet are drying. The only thing that is a drawback is the parking. I had to pay $5 for parking. Overall, it is a clean and well maintained shop.

So honestly I really liked going to this place (going as in past tense). There’s a guy that works there Nick who is very nice and does a great job at doing nails, but recently I was Disrespected by one of the employees there. She got upset with me because I didn’t want to wait for a pedicure (I got my nails done somewhere else because they were booked). When I went in there to get one of my nails fixed (I had gotten my nails done a few days before) I went to go dry my feet and the girl told me I had to sit near the door (I couldn’t dry my feet). So I felt very disrespected because she wouldn’t let me dry my feet just because I got my nails done somewhere else. On top of that she called me out in front of all the people in there and said “why did you get your nails done somewhere else...... she’s so petty. So basically I’m never coming back there because that lady there wasn’t very nice. Cheers to losing a customer.

A great place to get your nails or waxing done! It is always busy so make sure to call them first before you head there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. After youre done, head over to Luckys Last Chance across the street and try their P&J Burger!! Youll have a great time in Manayunk. Dont forget to like my review afterwards. 😊

Went twice got great gel manicures. Great! The third time, my manicure lasted all of 2 days before the polish began to peel at the cuticles and chip at the tips. When I went in the tech was very dismissive. He told me that he would fix the 3 that were chipping and apply another coat of top coat to all the nails. I tried explaining to him that Id had this problem before and that the issue was the polish. He said there was nothing wrong with the polish and proceeded to tell me if I wanted a different color, I would have to pay again. I then was asked to sit in a pedicure chair to have my nails fixed, which is very uncomfortable when your not actually getting a pedicure, btw. Another tech was summoned who apparently was short on time as the top coat wasnt even dry before he was wiping them with alcohol and bidding me a good day. I left three matte nails. Needless to say, the extra top coat application didnt help. The polish continued to snag, catching my hair and everything else. Other nails also chipped. I was offered the same options: get the chipped fixed and another coat of top coat or pay again. I tried to be amenable and agree to the repair but only if they had a new bottle of polish of that same color. I was told that there was nothing wrong with the polish and that the manicurist probably didnt clean my nails properly. I went across the street to Cinderella Nails where I shouldve gone in the first place. Gel manicures are supposed to be worry free for at least 2 weeks. They are rude and they do stand behind their work.

I always come here to get my gel manicures and they never rip, chip, or peel! Great color selection and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly enough but do not go out of their way to accommodate you.

Excellent service

I went with my daughters we got Mani/ pedis . They did both services at one time in all of us, never soaked my fingers or took the excess skin off my heels. As other patrons came for services they were provided properly. Never, ever again.

There are too many quality nail salons in the area to waste your time and money at Christie’s.Went in for a gel mani and got sold up to a powder. Because this takes almost two hours I told them I had to put money in the meter. The girl in the shop told me she fed my meter but didn’t put enough money in and never warned me when the time was up. When I was leaving she did admit the time had expired... why didn’t she warn me?When I complained they first acted like they didn’t speak English. No matter which tech I go to, my gels always turn out beautiful. Not always friendly. Would live if there was a better selection of gels.

Extremely disappointed, I went to get my eyebrows done.an on my right eyebrow she took half of it off. I told her be careful on my ends of eyebrows cause their thin. An told her to avoid them. No she literally took off the ends so now itr looks like I only have mid eyebrows that stop in the middle of my eye. Like dont go here. She rushed my eyebrows the worst !!!

I was disappointed. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and my nails started chipping 2 days later. I was out of town and did not have the ability to return to have them fixed.

I was very disappointed, my wait was longer than the service. It was the fastest gel manicure I ever had. My nails were not shaped properly and the gel was not smooth.

Never will go back. A friend told me she went here and wasnt happy but I decided to give it a chance anyways (learned my lesson). Went on a Sunday to get an acrylic gel nail manicure with a friend. We called in advance to make sure it was ok that we come in as we would be getting there around 5:10PM and they close at 6PM. The woman assured me that it would be fine just to come in. When I got there, they rushed me to a chair to pick my color from the nail swatches that they had. They said I didnt have time to look around at the polishes on the walls. Fine, I understood I was coming in close to closing. I waited at my chair another 5 minutes before the male techinician came over to start my nails. He was not friendly at all and looked very much annoyed. He proceeded to put the tips for the acrylics and asked what length I wanted. I was trying to decide (literally thinking only for 10 seconds) when he rudely said that we didnt have time and to make a decision later. OK fine. After he cut the tips I said I wanted them shorter and he gave me a frustrated look and quickly cut a little more. I still wasnt happy with the length but at that point I was also very frustrated by his attitude and them rushing me I just wanted to get it over with. He didnt even take time to do my cuticles or anything and I am NOT happy with the nails at all, especially since it cost $40. Again, he didnt take the time to do my cuticles so they were horrible and because of that there was a gap where the acrylic/nail polish started and where my nail starts so it already looked like I had them done for a week and they were growing out. Some of my nails were also crooked and not filed well.

Stop going here because I tip anyone who service me but Nick got too greedy for me to the point he was asking me for the other workers tip money!! Like excuse me!! Worry about yourself & for that I’ll never go back.. He also was too rough with filing & shaping nails.

Salon is not clean, most of the chairs n equipment are broken. Walls and floors are gross. I was not confortable getting my nails done in such a dirty environment.

I wish i could give them 0 stars! Myhanh is by far the nastiest nail tech ive EVER had! I got my nails done by her a few times and she does a great job i will give her that, but HER CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL MAKE YOU WANNA SMACK HER! I texted her to make an appointment and she told me someone else can do your nails. I kindly told her, but i like the way you do my nails. DO YOU KNOW THIS LADY TOLD ME OKAY YOU CAN COME, BUT YOU NEED TO BRING THE TIP MONEY YOU OWE ME!!!! I dont owe you nothin! tip is optional!! I didnt give her a tip one time because she had someone else finish my nails because she was so in a rush to leave and left before she could even get it!
