If I could give zero stars then I would because thats exactly what this place deserves. This is by far the absolute worst establishment for washing clothes I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The owners neglect is immediately visible. I am here as we speak and I counted 35 machines that are either out-of-order or flooded. The machines themselves and/or the detergent reservoir. 35! The reservoirs are also covered with mold! Its disgusting! I do NOT reccomend!

I have been going here for years and there is definitely a decline in the cleanliness but the straw that broke the camel’s back was the last time I was there. There was an issue with the dryer and my clothes were getting stuck while going around. When my clothes finished almost everything had a hole in it. My fault for not changing dryers but the nasty girl that works there must go. She had an attitude like I was bothering her when I told her what happened. They lost a good customer.

I use to love going to the Laundry Cafe at Olney Plaza my most recent visit was 9/13/21 after spending 3hours there I went to go to the rest room neither bathroom was working I couldnt believe it three weeks ago they werent working thats not the Laundry Cafe I fell in love with.WHATS GOING ON!!!!!!PLEASES HELP !!!!!!

The large sized machine are very mildewed and smell horrid upon opening both the door to load laundry and the detergent flaps have black mold on them. Please take notice of this review and rectify, it’ll take 10 mins.The bathroom odor was very prominent when walk toward the middle of the establishment smelled like raw sewage, flies, used toilet paper balls on the floor on the sides of the toilet.Several dyers are in need of repair, customers had to use jugs to put extra water in the tops of a few machines to actually clean the clothes already inside and spinning.Please read this review and make some changes at this Olney location!

The owners of this establishment need to service and maintain the machines more frequently; half of the washing machines are out of order and/or need to be cleaned/sanitized of mold growing under the detergent flaps. A little bit more care would go a long way for this laundromat which has been steadily declining for a few years now.

This place is DIRTY. It doesn’t make sense to wash clothes for the purpose of getting them clean in a dirty facility. I saw a roach crawl out from the washer machine. Half of the machines were broken, there was trash on the floor. Never again. Y’all can keep this mess. It’s disgusting. They don’t even wipe down the machines 🤮

The best time to go there is on the weekdays less people there and the morning time before 3pm.

5675 N. Front St. location has an employee walking around talking to people with her mask below her chin. This is the second time Ive seen this here. Many customers are wearing their masks below their noses so the mask is useless. Last time I spoke to the employee about her mask. She put it up, but when I went to ask her something later, it was down under her chin again and she didnt raise it. Seems like no one cares and the whole place is very unsafe as a result. I wont be returning and if advise anyone concerned for the health of anyone at all not to go in.Its unsafe.

Love this place. Clean, organized, and friendly staff. Lots of space and visual stimulus to help pass the time while waiting on the process. I dont like crowds and I work at night. So it great that their open 24 hours.

I come in here all the time. Till tonight nobody had told us that the card machine to put the money in hasn’t been working all day. They tried to reach the owner serval times and he didn’t even tried to pick up or not come in

I have an 8x10 Ruggable. It arrived the same time the new puppy did a year ago. I really thought it was ruined, but decided i should at least try washing it. So I took it to Laundry Cafe. They could have just washed it once and given it back to me, but they didnt. They washed it 4 times. This thing came back looking mostly new and smelling clean. So from now on the Ruggable goes every three months so they only have to wash it once. And it was ready when they promised it.

Nice place to wash your clothes, but get there when they open or late at night.

Right now most of their service is shut down because of the corona. Before the corona you were able to get food. Sit down in a nice relaxing massage chair that you had to put in a dollar for it to work. Along with games for the kids

Its okay got there around 7 was finished by 9:30. Had issues getting machines when I first got there and then I had clothes in a dryer where the filter came off. Employee told me it would be fine but I had them in the dryer for 30 minutes and they were still soaking wetHad to put another 20 minutes on the card to dry them. Didnt complain or mention it because at that point was just trying to get out of there. Highly suggest getting there before 7am if possible, or you may have to wait for the machine you want. I got there at 7 and they had no medium washers available all in use or out of order. Im just saying

Needs to keep washing machines working properly. Youll waste a lot of fabric softener & bleach because sometimes it doesnt drain into the machines

When I started going here in 2012, the place was AWESOME! Now it’s dirty, every other machine is broken, there’s always some type of unknown liquid left over in the dispenser for laundry detergent! Ppl leave their clothes sitting in the washers for hours and staff are afraid of removing them! Therefore you’re literally waiting for patrons who are not even inside! The bathrooms are always out of order! Staff aren’t bad! However the business is poorly ran and it’s sad because it’s not even 10 years old

Actually; I would not give it a one star, I took four pants at Front and Olney have clean they said it would take longer to get back because of the Corona thing thats going on came back a week or two they say they could not locate my items, they said they would give me the owners number, and believe me that numbers mail box is always full, I could not even leave a message, well they wont have to worry about my support. Have a good bit of friends suggest get a lawyer. I said thats more trouble than its worth, I take the lost and just dont go there anymore, and tell other people I know and dont know. By the way pants they lost or stolen were Perry Ellis, I purchase from Sams Club ; they really was not expensive.

Clean, affordable, and always open. What more can you ask for. They even have free dry. What initially caught my eye was the fact that they are always opened. Its convenient if you work during the day. Its nice to know i can come at 2a.m to do my laundry. Plus they are located at a strip mall/shopping center so ample parking space.

Laundry cafe has plenty of washers and dryers. Its spacious and clean has free wifi and five TVs set to different channels and one is always set to kid friendly shows. They also have a drop off service.

I had 5 machines one machine did not bring all the water out a lady a few machines down for me had the same problem the worker and how we got into an argument over the situation she ran my machine over and my clothes you could squeeze the water out of them they gave me extra minutes to dry my clothes it wasnt an easy day and the laundry Cafe

First time coming here, The prices are reasonable ! I love that it’s open 24 hours, they have curbside assistance, and they have APPLE PAY which I’m very thankful for because my debit card has been giving me problems reading my chip ! Everything worked out great ! I’ll definitely be coming back

I use to love coming to this laundromat until today 1/28/18. The guy (George) running the place on Sunday is so nasty. His customer service gets zero stars. If the management is looking at this comment when I see one of you in full details I will explain the full story and then you can run your cameras back. Oh the employees should have a name tag that is visible to customers.

Always a pleasure to do the unwanted laundry at this cool laundromat. With the massage chairs at so cheap price $5 = 15 Min deep tissue massage. Plus a kids area in the back & a decent size flat screen TV to keep the kiddos entertain Ill say this is a great place to come and get over the ugly laundry day

This place is the worst and completely overrated the owners have absolutely no customer service skills or integrity if a machine cheats you out of a quarter they wont refund you .If an employee disrespects you they wont do anything about it. I learned the hard way with direct dealings with the owners they are not customer oriented or friendly.Stay away from this poorly ran place.They do not deserve the communities hard earned money.

Ive been to this location several times and Ive never had my clothes taking out of the dryers or washers and as soon as new people start working there the employees started taking clothes out of then washer and dryers. I almost left a lot of clothes behind because one of the employees took my clothing out and put it in a place where I couldnt really see it.thank God I looked to my left b4 I walked out and seen a big basket of my kids clothes.I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN

The dryers stay broke half the washing machines be broke and the ones that work ppl allowed to leave they clothes in them and leave so you have to wait till they come back and it’s no time on that

I was skeptical about this place for quite some time. Finally I decided to try it out because I had an enormous amount of laundry to do.. Excellent prices Supreme customer service and their dryers and washers are absolutely clean and working well. And if they have the slightest issue they shut that machine down until its fixed completely theres music theres TV there are massage chairs video games drinks anything that you want. I will always wash my clothes here until I get a washer and dryer in my own home of course.. LOL

It was nice and clean in here. I like the fact that theres entertainment for the whole family. They have curbside assistance to help you with your bags. The only thing I didnt like about this laundry was the low water pressure or flow when it came to the washer machines. Me personally; I like to see my cloths being submerged in soapy water:/ I had to make sure my cloths were actually getting wet:( 6 load machince not overloaded, I should have seen something:/

1. Employees will move your belongings without notice, even when the place is EMPTY....I had to ask the woman for my BAGS back.2. Do you clean your machines? What occurred in the photos happened 3-4 times already, but THIS was the absolute WORST.3. Faulty machines. The manager said that the machine had been acting up, but it will still run for the same amount of time. Basically, I had 2 machines, started them at the same timeOne started at 27 minutes and the other started at 15 minutes. Of course, she was wrong, and the one at 15 minutes ended sooner. I tried to look for her afterwards, and she was MIA.4. NEVER go on Sundays.

Machines are moldy and disgusting, service is poor and the bathrooms are foul. See pictures. Place should be shut down for being a health hazard.

When I first started going to this laundromat back in 2016 it was a great experience. I slowly started seeing out of order machines here and there. Then it became regular to see about 30% of their machines out of order. Plus machines that were in service but were not operating properly. You also have to pay to use the bathroom. Witch I don’t understand because I’m spending my money in this establishment. They have now loss me as a costumer 2018.

I have been coming to this laundromat for the past 4 years, the service and quality has decreased significantly. The washing machines are either out of service or do not do a good job cleaning the clothes. The place is usually trashy, inconsistent curbside service, understaffed, staff has been rude and inattentive. The waiting area in the rear is unsafe, especially for children. The laundromat sucks! I will be utilizing another laundromat. I have already notified family and friends about their service and quality!

It gives what you need plus what you want when washing your clothes. Cant beat that.

I remember opening day. The excitement of a new business and all the smiles and good wishes that go into opening day. Then as the years fell away and you watched the out of service signs begin to take over, the Free Wi-Fi disappear, chairs to sit in while you wait for clothes to finish, clean floors and curb service lacking, you wonder has the business changed hands. I was disappointed in the lack of clean environment and the amount of clothes left in dryers and washing machines, added to the out of service signs and i began to wonder if it was time to move on. The Olney Plaza Cafe needs a do over to bring back those features offered on opening day. The prices went up, but the cleanliness, attention to customer needs, working and available machines have gone down.

This laundromat is my fave. No matter what time I go there is always someone to help with a laundry cart outside. Employees are helpful, place is maintained, and the prices are reasonable.

Looks nice but don’t believe the hype. Massage chairs, well ok there are two and good luck being able to use them. People sit there and stay there. Also the price to wash a small load $5 and $9 for a large load. The only good side is the free 8mins of dryer time you get for doing a load of wash. Kids just running around like crazy all unattended! I couldn’t stand it and it’s def not worth the money.

Its a laundromat thats open 24hours, so points for that. The seating situation is ass, though ...they have 2 massage chairs in the front and everything else is hard ass, middle school lunch room seat plastic. TVs are always fuzzy as hell so theyre rendered irrelevant. Usually some bad ass kids running around. A lot of the largest sized washers are usually out of order for routine maintenance so I have to wait a lot to get one of the big ones. Overall I bypass 2 laundromats to get to this one, so I guess its cool lol.

Had them wash,dry, and fold for a few years. ..now they lost our clothes by giving it to someone else and wouldnt call us to tell us anything about their investigation on what happens ..the people eventually came back and were getting ready to get our stuff back, which is a lot better than trying to get reimbursement on old clothes (who actually pays attention to what clothes are being washed is beyond me

Ive been supporting this location since business opened. I took pride in supporting a black business. But the QUALITY has DECREASED TREMENDOUSLY. If the machines work, they are FILTHY AF. Oh how I wish I could post the video to comment. Some of the staff members are rude as hell. I asked how often do the machines get cleaned and was answered with a attitude I dont know this will be my last time supporting this business ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾

This place was hell!!! So happy I found a better job 😂😂 and For the love of god!! Women are not here to do your curbside thats a mans job you wouldnt make your wife or daughters go to the curb so treat your female employees with the same respect for all the women working there breaking their backs carry those heavy ass laundry bags for those lazy ass customers while they just watch Stand up for yourself! Thats the main reason why I left bad enough I wasnt being paid enough washing people dirty ass panties but that curbside was the last straw lol the only thing I miss about this place are the wonderful ladies I worked with!

Crubside service polite friendly staff. I use the dropoff service my clothes are always clean, fresh and done when they promise. The service is reasonably priced except for the blanket service which I think is to high, other wise I would have given 5 stars. If your like me and dont have time to do laundry try this place you wont be sorry.

I used to love going here. So much that when I moved I had laundry in my apt complex but still went there. Unfortunately, I will not go there again. I went there sat overnight. I washed my clothes and put them in the dryer. Because I washed 30 dollars in clothes I had a significant amount of free dry. I put my clothes in for 48 minutes each. I went to drop my friend off when I came back both of my dryers were open and my clothes were still wet. When I asked they gave me some bogus excuse about the dryer opening on their own. I restarted them and stood there and not once did it open. Even if it did open why didnt one of the workers close it they were stand right there and the guy was walking back and forth. Not only dud i loose drying time but i didnt get home until 4 in the morning. I will not go back there and if you do watch your belongings.

My reason is ; the washers mess up while you washing clothes, the machine either leaks water or your clothes dont get properly rinsed, staff be rude and unprofessional when you ask for assistance, staff always in conversation and eating while folding the garments or linen.Oh for your information my brother use to work for this laundromat; employees be clicky, they be drinking or be high at the job, employees dont finish their duties so their unfinished duties be passed on to the next exployee that shifts in causing the employee the overwork, employeess be against each other thirsty for power none the less, aaaaaand there is a lot of mixing business with pleasure, most staff dont last long.In conclusion I wouldnt work for this laundromat or give it my money!
