The best dentist and staff anywhere!I was in a lot of pain with a tooth that had exposed root tips.I spoke to Sandra on the phone who was very helpful and professional. I also spoke to Cheryl George and I was able to come in right away to see Dr. George.When I arrived at the office it was clean, immaculate, and quiet. I only waited about a few seconds and was taken into the back by one of the dental assistants Krissy. Krissy and another dental assistant, Jenna, were both very professional and made me feel at ease. We had a good time talking and laughing that I forgot where I was. They explained what was going to happen and took a full history to give to Dr. Thomas George.Dr. George and Jenna worked on my tooth and were able to take care of it right away.I was given all of the information that I needed when I left and Cheryl George explained everything and gave me a prescription for an antibiotic.My experience was one of the best that I have encountered at any dental practice.A truly GREAT staff and GREAT experience! Thank you so much.

Unfortunately I had one of the worst experience of my life! I went in for a cleaning, and found out I had some onlays to do! When I got to the office Dr. George told me to do two crowns instead, because I had a lot of infiltration, and I was okay with it, despite the price! After the procedure, I was feeling a lot of pain, after 2 weeks and 3 visits trying to scrape the top of the crown, the pain was still there! So he decided that I needed a canal! There were 2 tooth and he did a tap test to see which tooth was hurting and it wasn’t obvious because I didnt feel the aggravate pain that I was always feeling it! And we did the canal in one of them! The pain I felt while he was doing the canal was super strong, and I had many before so I know I wasn’t supposed to feel pain. Just to make it clear, the pain after the crown was so strong that I was on anti-inflammatory for too long that I started vomit acid! So, after a month with a lot of pain I noticed that I was still feeling a lot of pain and decide to visit another dentist to understand what was happening and a quick test was performed with some icy spray (sorry I dont know the names of it), and felt the worst pain ever! So we had to do another root canal in the other tooth he did the crown! I never do reviews but my experience was so bad that I needed to share what I experienced! I wont be coming back.

I have been going to Deme for about a year now. I have had a lot of dentists over the years, and Deme is by far my favorite. The office is modern and extremely clean and they are staffed with some of the best dentists in Philadelphia.Everyone that works at Deme is warm and professional - a great vibe for a dentists office. I was referred there due to a dental emergency - they got me in as soon as possible and took excellent care of my teeth. My dentist (Dr. Ford - shes awesome) was genuinely concerned with my case. They take amazing care of my teeth, I will be a loyal patient to Deme for as long as I live in Philly.

The office is beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend Dr. George as he was gentle, thorough and explained everything prior to the procedure.

Great Dentist office. Ive had 3 appointments here so far. Scheduling is easy, I havent had to wait more than 5 minutes to get into the chair at my scheduled appointment time and everyone is very friendly. Dr. George and Dr. Ford are both very knowledgeable and explain to you what the problem is if there is one, and describes why it happened if possible. I highly recommend Deme if youre looking for a great dentist.

Excellent experience (from routine Hygienic appointment or major dental work). Ive been using Dr. Tom George and his team since the mid-80s and have watched the practice continue to innovate and provide excellent dental care. The team (from the front desk, hygienists, dental techs) under the superb management of Tom and Cheryl George continues to impress. Easy access with free-garage parking, on Arch street, makes it an easy destination for all. The practice has expanded, without losing its charm into a multi-specialty practice which continues to expand their expertise.

I have been going to Dr. George for over 20 years. He is simply the best. In addition, the staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is lovely and convenient (with dedicated parking spaces). I highly recommend Dr. George and Deme for dental care.

Ive been going to Deme for years now and have never had an easier time keeping up with my appointments. Theyre quick, easy and convenient if you live/work in the city. And a bonus, parking is free in the garage! I love Tracey; she remembers everything and extremely wonderful to work with. I see Dr. George as well and hes nothing but a pleasure to work with.

I recently had a dental cleaning and it was by far the best one ever. The Office atmoshere is very peaceful and very nicely done. I really took notice of the way the Office is very high end but with a laid back approach while giving you the best of the best! Everyone at this Office is all about your Oral Care from the clinical staff to the front desk staff. The Doctors and staff members are very knowledgeable and are on top of all the latested things going on with Dentistry. They really do work with you to ensure your dental treatment needs get met but in a way that is on your own pace so your not overwhelmed. I have found my dental home !

Had an excellent dental experience at Deme. Very clean and modern facility, was greeted warmly at the front desk and was promptly brought in by a very friendly assistant who made me feel comfortable while getting my x-rays completed. The hygienist was gentle and did a great job. Dr. Jeon was very compassionate and thorough and took the time to answer any questions I may have about my dental treatment. Overall very impressed with my first appointment and needless to say I have found my dentist in Center City Philadelphia.

I recently moved to Philly and set up to get a consultation about some dental surgery. The waiting area is very open and bright, it doesnt look like a dentist office which is nice for someone like me who has a pretty significant fear of the dentist. Dr. George was very nice and explained the surgery very well to me. I just had the surgery last week and everything went well! The surgery went smooth and I opted for financing through Care Credit since I dont have dental insurance, which Ive used before for other medical stuff. My follow up appointment went fine too and my mouth is healing up nicely! Id highly recommend this place!

These guys are the best! I cracked my front tooth the night before and their team fit me in the next morning for an appointment. We called 5 different dentists and Deme were the only ones to call us back. Dr. Nina Blackhurst and Donna did an outstanding job on getting me a new tooth!

This was the most refreshing dentist appointment Ive ever had. Deme makes you never want to leave. Relaxing music playing in the waiting room, which was very bright and open. I was given water in a high glass while waiting for my appointment. My dentist and assistant were so warm and welcoming. They explained everything they were doing and why, making me feel very comfortable about the newer processes. I had a few fillings put in, and they were extremely responsive to my pain tolerance and stopped immediately to administer more numbing injections as soon as I made it apparent that I felt uncomfortable. I will never switch dentists.

Didnt have to wait very long. Staff is very warm and friendly. Doctors and hygienists have excellent chairside manner and I felt comfortable and at ease during my root canal. Chairside manner really does make all the difference! They let me play my own music and bring a friend with me. I would highly recommend Deme Dental.

Dr. Mimi Jeon was incredible. I came in with an emergency due to a gum infection with lots of pain. They made an appointment for me same-day and the level of attention and compassion Dr. Jeon showed was above and beyond. She and her staff went well out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a dentist in my life. Going anywhere else is a mistake.

Nina Blackhurst was very professional and sweet. She took the time to explain my condition using my x-ray so that I could understand better which no other dentist has done before. She referred me to a specialist in their office and sent me on my way. Upon checking out of my appointment I made another appointment to see Dr. Seyedan. Fast forward to the morning of my appointment, I got there 20 mins early only to be told there was never an appointment scheduled for me for this day and that if I still needed to be seen I had to pay $120 for a consultation and that Dr Seyedan doesn’t “deal with insurance”. I was never told this information upon scheduling that appointment. Also, no apologies were made. The receptionist then went ahead and rescheduled my consultation. I went home and decided to cancel my rescheduled consultation and there were still no apologies made over the phone. The woman just said “Oh, you were just here, I’ll make a note of it ok?, bye.” Then hung up.

I was visiting Philadelphia a few weeks ago and I had an accident. I was looking for a prosthodontist and I came here to see Susan Almusa, DDS for evaluation. She evaluated my case and quoted me for a few very expensive procedures; some of which included partial denture and bridge. She was very pushy to get the procedure done right there and then. I did not feel good starting the procedures with her especially knowing she was still a junior dentist with not much experience. Also I heard her discuss my case with one other person in another room and they decided to push me to start the procedures that day. I was also concerned about the medical hygiene in the place as I have been a nurse for 15 years. Long story short; I ended up going to a different office and it turns out I did not need all those procedures recommended by Susan Almusa. I only needed simple restorations and an implant. Everything was done and I am perfect now.Imagine if I listened to these people. Thank God I didnt.

What a sigh of relief to FINALLY have found a dentist I can look forward to visiting in Philadelphia! Im a new patient to Deme Dental, and I wish I had discovered this practice sooner. Having grown up in Philadelphia, I had always gone to my neighborhood dentist who was about as cutting edge as he was friendly. His word was the golden rule even after he shaved my bite down resulting in TMJ issues years later. Upon returning to Philly after 15 years between Miami and NYC, I googled Best Dentist in Philadelphia because I was no longer interested in receiving subpar dental work. I landed on an award winning practice that happened to be in a medical arts building across the street from my apartment. How convenient, I thought. Unfortunately, the motto you pay for what you get doesnt apply to that practice as the office assistants were constantly (I stress that word) calling and emailing to offer me deals on the latest and trendiest dental procedures. They managed to sell me on a set of rush-job porcelain veneers which have left me with a masculine crooked smile. Furious and frustrated, I gave up looking for another dentist until my new dental insurance kicked in. Deme Dental was recommended by my fiance and close friends. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism and customer service from the office staff at my first visit. I was also impressed that all of the patient forms were available for me to fill out online prior to my visit which expedited my wait-time tremendously. Dr. Mimi Jeon and her dental assistant were so knowledgeable and friendly. They didnt mince words, but did so with compassion, and thats something I appreciate. There were no attempts made to sell (or up-sell) me any services or products. And dental hygienist, Tracey McDermott, surpassed every expectation I had based on my friends recommendations. My teeth have never felt cleaner or smoother after a professional cleaning. And for the first time in years, I didnt leave a dental office with gauze stuffed in my mouth from bleeding gums. Shes very good at what she does. You can tell this practice takes pride in their work and they treat their patients like family. They knew everything about my friends and fiance and even asked for updates on specific life events. They pay attention to and care for their patients. They dont treat you like a dollar sign. Surprising to say, Im actually looking forward to my upcoming cavity filling procedure. I feel fortunate to be a patient at Deme Dental. They seem to be the citys best.
