This place is absolutely amazing! I had my new Ram pickup sprayed with the premium bedliner and they did a wonderful job.Very clean, neat, precise job. It looks like it was factory installed. To be honest I was pretty hesitant about taking a brand new truck to get sprayed. Rest assured your baby is in good hands. I couldnt be happier with how it turned out! Update (6/25): Rachel had reached out to me to discuss the issues below. She was extremely understanding of my concerns and wanted to make sure everything was done correctly and offered to replace the fender liner and reinspect the vehicle to ensure everything was done correctly. I am highly appreciative that they were willing to stand behind the work and address the concerns of their customers! I look forward to coming here for future needs!I was excited to get my undercoating done here due to recommendations from friends. However, I am sad that I chose to bring my vehicle here. There was overspray on almost every surface, Front bumper, tow hooks, wheels, fenders. Paper was left on all of my shocks as well as my muffler which the tape left burn marks on the muffler. My front fender liner also was not properly reattached to my vehicle, leading to damage when it was caught by the wind on the highway. Overall the job felt very rushed, if the team needed extra time I would have much rather they expressed that and I would have been happy to agree to being without my vehicle for a 3rd day.

I have taken my new vehicle to Line X numerous times over the last month for various services. Line X has impressed me each time. Rachel is stellar with customers and really knows her stuff. She has had suggestions for me when I inquire about possibilities and answers to all of my questions. They have an A team doing their work. My services have been delivered on time and as promised. I can personally recommend them for window tinting, tonneau covers and under coating. First class experience across the board. Line X of Grand Rapids is a place where you feel good spending your money.

Cant speak highly enough of this place. Staff are very friendly and proffesional. I had my bed sprayed and couldnt be happier with how it turned out. Also had them spray a bug deflector of sorts on the hood, and it turned out phenomenal. The spray on my hood has been there about 2 years and hasnt faded. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Bed liner spray looked great and I am extremely happy about that. I also paid for the “professional” undercoating. They missed many spots and had over spray all over my rear bumper. I left it there as they “fixed” the issue. The over spray was cleaned off but the large spots where it was missing paint was not sprayed until I walked around the whole entire car with the rude manager as he sprayed for a good 45 min to where it was good enough, not perfect. There were still many runs and paint globs. Very poor undercoating and customer service at this location. From now on I will be dealing with a different location to fix this issue.

Had them spray the bottom portion of the panniers (solid metal bags) on my motorcycle and they did a great job at a great price! Turnaround time was pretty good too and it seems very well done and durable finish. Highly recommend these guys!

Take some time when you go here to explain what you want done, Brynn the installer, what is sensitive to my desires and the needs of the car and did everything the way it should have been done. I dont see anything about it I dont like, it came out very nice. Its not a perfect car and its not a perfect world and he did a great job with what he had to work with. Just take your time and dont be pushy and they will do a great job on your vehicle.

Great staff, great service. Had Line-X done on my truck about a year ago and I love it. I also had them install a hard tri-fold bed cover by Rough Country which has been awesome as well. Now, they are a Black Rifle Coffee distributor! They are the full package and have earned my business.

Cant say enough about this place, from the moment you walk in youre greeted with a smile (under a mask of course). I came in for a bed liner and left with confidence that they could handle anything I asked for when it came to accessorizing my truck. These guys and gals are great. I purchased a nice tonneau cover for my Tundra and for fit-up issues due to my truck they spend hours on it to get it right. They did a great job and this is my second tonneau cover from them. Very happy with their customer service!!

I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday this week for my truck to have an undercoating and light bar installed...I got the truck into the shop and they had some issues with their employees feeling ill, so with the covid situation going on, they said they’d be able to get only the undercoating completed this week.They ended up finding that I had some thick mud on the bottom and ended up having to scrape it off, they explained the extra charges and we proceeded.I do wish they would’ve gave me some information about their expectations before I brought it in, so I could’ve tried to get it cleaned beforehand.It took them 4 days to complete everything and I was getting a little impatient.But when I picked it up, my experience with them was made satisfactory, because the technician took the time to walk me around the car and explain some trouble areas and some other concerns he had about my truck (I just bought it used).Even though it took longer than expected (due to understaffing and covid, which is understandable ) and the issue with cleaning. the Technician gave me a discount on the cleaning and was over all just very friendly and knowledgeable.I was honestly on the fence about getting more work done by them in the future before I picked it up, but I’ll be back. thanks to the kindness and expertise of the staff.Thank you guys for your time!!!

New management is very knowledgeable and courteous. Their experience shows in the results. Very happy with the spray-in liner.

Updated 11-18-2020The owners reply did clearify some points. However at the end of the day the main issue still stands, they missed significant portions of the frame and undercab. Which required a second visit. I know what is plastic and metal, what requires coating and what doesnt. All of this hassle could have been avoided, if someone simply inspected the truck before handing over the keys. Lastly, about the technician not wearing a mask. He did not have a respirator mask on when he met me. He could have been respectful, and at least offered to put a mask on while driving my truck out of the bay.The reason I think Line-X of Grand Rapids has so many great reviews, is because nobody thoroughly inspects their work. Customers take a glance and are satisfied. I had a $800 undercoat job done. When I got home the next day, I inspected their work in the daylight. I noticed large dinner plate sized areas that were not covered by the undercoat. The exhaust pipe had a significant amount of undercoat on it, as well as overspray on my exhaust tips. Lets not forget the bits of the frame that were not covered. There was also dust and dirt that they did not clean off, which leads me to believe that they did not, or they poorly cleaned the underside. Then, I noticed streaking over the entire body of the truck and what appeared to be mud caked between the body and tail light. The trucks body was spotless when I took it in.I took the truck back and showed them the issues. They wanted to respray it right away, but I needed the truck for the weekend. The following Monday, the truck went back. They still missed a lot of small areas. I had to walk with the Tech. with my own flashlight and show him spots that were missed the second time around. When I pointed out one spot in particular, even the Tech. doing the spraying, replied, Oh yeah, thats a big one. He even offered me a can, so I could spray any spots I saw myself. I replied with, Naw mate, I didnt pay $800 to do it myself. To top it all off, I live with high risk individuals and no one was wearing a mask.Posted 11-9-2020

Great group of people in this shop with great work to match. I stopped in on a whim to check out the shop with no intentions of purchasing any product since I drive a 3 series BMW. After speaking with Rachel, she recommended I look into an underbody rustproof spray. I ended up purchasing the product & it was completed quickly by Brynn and his team. Its great to know how versatile this shop is with their service & products.

We are so pleased with the service and kindness of Rachel, not only was she accommodating with our tight schedule to get the cover installed but the cover & quality itself is fantastic! We were looking at a few different brands, but knowing this is their specialty and the lifetime warranty, it was really a no brainer for us!

Great Experience. Used them to cover up the gap left by the factory bed liner when the tailgate is down as well as some rustproofing. Very knowledgeable staff, and all the work appears to be top notch. I would recommend to anyone looking for a bed liner or rustproofing needs.

I know there are some bad reviews on here about this place and I had my doubts but they have recently gone threw a owner change so I have them a shot and it was one of the best experiences I have had so far with my new truck. They did a great job and even worked late on a Saturday to get my truck finished. The lineX turned out amazing and I will be honing back to them in the future. Plus they have a great show room for off-road jeeps and trucks

Lift install was ok, couple issues that I had to go back for. The place they used for the alignment was garbage, horrible numbers even after 2 attempts. After taking it to another place for a proper alignment I let line-x know my disappointment but there was no response at all about it, the lack of response is the main reason for 2 stars.

Jason was very professional and courteous. After my truck was done he called me back to make sure I was happy with the undercoating work. I would recommend Line-x to everyone

Once I learned they were under new management, I figured it was worth a shot, rather than driving out of GR to get my truck done. They were professional, explained the process and held to all their promises. My truck looks great and the premium LINE-X really does shine. Thanks guys!

Met Bryn & Jason from Line-X of Grand Rapids. They worked hard to ensure my experience at their shop was excellent. They even stayed late to get my new tonneau cover installed after I got off work. I see some negative experiences from past visitors, but this team is not the same crew from a year ago. Bryn has a couple Line-X shops and came to Grand Rapids to get this one going right.

*Updated post as of 07/31/18*I have tried contacting these people about about a quote on lining a pickup truck bed SEVERAL times. When I originally called, they called back and left a message; after this, i tried calling back only to get their voicemail. This has been the result every, single time now. This also happens when I try to get a quote from them online!I finally got a message from their corporate office asking if *anyone* has contacted me about a quote from their establishment. I said no and that’s that; nothing more from anyone.I really wanted to get Line-X put in the bed of my truck...I’ve never heard a bad thing about the product itself but if the lack of any motivation to answer a call at their post is any indication, I’ll be paying someone else to do it unfortunately.***UPDATE*** 07/31/18The owner, Jason, had replied to this review and called me the day after I posted it and explained what happened, taking full responsibility. We talked it over and set up an appointment to bring my truck in and I’ve got to say, I’m glad I did.Jason and his crew there did a top notch job on my truck and they did it with a smile; all of the crew were very polite and friendly but I think what surprised me most, was how honest they all were. I had asked Jason about spreading the rocker panels as well and he told me he would do it if i wanted, but exactly why that wouldn’t be a good idea and suggested I not do it, instead of just taking my money and running.He also explained the exact differences between the types of Line-X products they carry and helped me pick the perfect one for my needs. My truck was done in about 2 1/2 hours and I didn’t need to do any prep work before hand, they took care of EVERYTHING. Although I haven’t been able to take my tonneau over back to see all of it (it needs time to cure) from what I can see, they did a bang up job and it looks great!If you’re on the fence about a spray in bed liner and are thinking of a DIY option, don’t. Go speak to Jason at Line-X Grand Rapids first and get an opinion and quote from a professional; you won’t regret it! AAA+ job guys!PS. Jason, Rachel and team sprayed a Line-X liner on my Chevy Silverado 2500HD last week. The entire team did an awesome job on the bed & top rails, which made my truck bed look like a brand new truck! Had my brand new GMC bed liner sprayed in, liner looks great and I couldnt be happier but they got the great idea to shut my antenna in my passenger side door instead of taking it off when covering my truck. When I got it back I opened the door and it came flying out chipping the paint on the door jam and putting a dent in the inner door plastic. I called and they tried to deny it until I got a guy that must not of know about it and said Oh dude yeah we do that all the time! Damn that sucks let me have you talk to the claims lady. Then I got transferred to a voicemail which never returned the call. Finally I got in touch with this lady after multiple calls and she tried to dodge the subject by saying I could buy a bug deflector or floor mats at their cost????? I dont want that I want my new truck fixed! She then said she would get a quote which she never responded on. Only way I could communicate was through text. Finally I sent a last text about the quote to fix my truck and she said we would discuss on Monday but I never received a call! Horrible customer service to say the least. Also had over-spray on my bumper. BUYER BE WARE! The only reason they get 2 stars is because the bed looks nice, just at the cost of the rest of my truck...

I brought my truck in to have bed liner sprayed down the sides of my truck for rust and stone protection along with the chassis saver under coating a couple months back.A couple days after I picked up the truck I started seeing bubbles appear on the bed liner spray. At that time you start to look a little closer to the quality and wow! Up close the spray looks terrible spatter and blobs all over it after rolling under the truck on a creeper I can see the rockers are barely coated as well.Then two weeks ago I changed shocks on the truck with the help of a friend who thankfully has a vehicle lift. Due to an injury it is very hard for me to work on vehicles and crawl around on a creeper. Anyway, I was totally depressed at what I saw. The chassis saver application is a total joke and it is obvious that NO preparation was taken at all prior to applying it. Two months and its already flaking off and parts of the frame are not even coated.I did call back to the contact person on the bubble issue on the liner when I first seen the issue and the person did say they would take care of it but, I have to say after further investigation I just dont think I can take the risk.... They did not take the time or ownership to do it right the first time and my opinion is that I would only compile my problems if I went back. They had the vehicle for four days so, IDK maybe the work all got done at the last minute???I checked with another store and they told me that line-X does not warranty anything sprayed other than the box, this store told me lifetime as long as I own the truck.The only thing I offer, buyer beware.....

Bad sevice. Dropped my truck off the night before was told it would be the first one done the next ready in the late morning. It was done till 5:30 pm I wasted 3 hours waiting. They lied till all there storys matched no discount for my inconvenience they suck!!!
