The staff at the front desk are welcoming, the gym is calming, and everyone is friendly to each other. One of the best gyms I went to

This place is amazing, one of the few gyms that handled the pandemic well. Pool, locker room are off limits for now but should be back during summer or after. Staff is great, trainers are great. I’ve only noticed a machine or two that needed maintenance but overall great gym. (Edit : locker rooms are back open and pools being worked on. Face mask requirement is gone if you have been vaccinated.)

I love it it’s very clean people treat you nice at the front desk the women’s locker rooms are amazing very clean with Hollywood style mirrors and lights bathrooms are amazingly clean….I’ll be losing weight here with Ease …love it

Michelle has been awesome and welcoming to the gym all the time. Jess as a Zumba Instructor gives me a productive workout and she is fun/energetic. I mostly go to the gym for Jess’ classes. Had my first Yoga class there last night and I can’t wait to go to the workshop later in the month. I hope they add Yoga classes at night again.

Took a class today ran by Michelle. It was a fitness class. Loved it!!!! She was real good about making sure we were doing the exercises right. And she showed how to modify them if you couldnt do it. Thank you Michelle. I hope to see you teaching some night time classes.

I cldnt wait to sign up for this gym now after reading the reviews about the manager maddie im not so sure 😕. I mean its not possible that everyone else is wrong everytime shes always the constant factor. Mb it is a great gym but im not sure i want to deal w a place that has had that many neg.coments about management

Been going here for years and I love this gym.Of course there are always people who go there that try to break the rules of gym ettiquite but the employees are very courteous and helpful. Thank you Juniata.

Anybody that considers Planet Fitness a gym, obviously dont know what a gym is. This is a local family oriented gym with overwhelmingly kind staff. Sometimes too kind. Ive been going to this gym for a year now, and my experience with the gym gets better each day. The members here are great people as well. If you need advice or suggestions on a workout, there are countless numbers of people willing to answer your question. The gym is also well equipped, with free weights, smith machines, cardio room, swimming pool, and sauna. There is no better gym within the area!

I have been to gyms all over the city however this gym feels like home great energy and the pool helps👍Which most gyms do not have. I encourage anyone to come check it out Luis Hernandez from the @inkedmotivationteam

I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone. The first time I went to the gym there was an issue with the staff. They have rules that only apply to certain kind of people and the Manager is a liar. She states that you arent allowed to get in the pool with street wear yet I was kicked out of the pool for having a swim top that goes with my bathing suit. Then I was terminated for sitting on the side of the pool to watch my young kids who were swimming. She claims that me sitting on the side of the pool meant that I was in the pool, so if i was you I would stick to Planet Fitness.

I enjoy my workout, everyone is pleasant. Also you have different ages going here. I enjoy most of all the pool. I exercise my leg here also is not packed. I love it.

I have been a member for a year now and love it! Best gym around, to me way better then planet fitness and the other members are just as nice as the staff. You really get to know everyone and it makes it a better place to work out. I also met my boyfriend here to it makes it an extra special place to me. ^_^ if you need a gym this is the place to go

Started coming to the gym 3 months ago. I like it the staff is pleasant and helpful and is a small family gym you get to see the same people and it makes me feel more motivated and comfortable. But I love Zumba... Tiffany the instructor makes it feel fun.. yes I will recommend this gym to others.

I personally love this gym, its close to home, the staff are great people and the gym itself it amazing. It maybe a but outdated a little however if you know how to workout then what are you crying for? Make due, if not give your pass to someone who needs it. We go to the gym to workout, be healthy, stay fit, show Off etc whatever the case is, just because you dont like the people shouldnt stop you from going.I would refer this gym to many people and I have and shall continue to.Motivation is the key, you make your surroundings they dont make you.Peace

I recently join Juniata Fitness and am very pleased with the staff, the gym equipment, the classes they provide, and the environment. Them gym goers are very focus. I truly enjoy getting my hour of work out at Juniata Fitness and recommended to anyone who is looking for a good gym.

Juniata fitness has been my escape, i havent had any complaints or problems since i started my membership here, Yesterday there was a misunderstanding when family time starts. The young lady Michelle was helpful and also told me about all the activities they do for the children at the gym, which is important to me since im a single mother. Edward that work the pool was extremely helpful watching my son as i changed, which im sure he doesnt have to do, but it was very much appreciated 😁. I would recommend this gym to others.

I first dont know what gym all these other people are going to, but my first experience with this fitness was not the greatest. I first had a 7-day pass, that was down graded to a 3 day pass. There was not expiration on the pass and was told that they no longer have 7-day passes. I dont care what you no longer have, but what I had was a 7-day pass with NO EXPIRATION day on it. Two I then seen people working out with dress shoes on. So safety is not of interested to them. They do not have a variety of equipment. What gym does not have a treadmill and it they do have it. I wouldnt know because I didnt even get a tour. I would not recommend.

My kids were taking TaeKwonDo there and they really loved it. Gym was very well taken cared of, and staff was healthful. Parking is good right across the st.

I had a 3 day free pass to this gym, and in my experience visiting this gym, I had an unfriendly encounter with members, and the manager thats currently works for this gym (Very unfriendly). I wouldnt recommend this gym. My attention were to become a member (despite the rudeness of the members), but when the manager (Maddie) attitude sends a very bad vibe in a place that your suppose to feel at ease, I think Im just going to pass. SNS! Oh they can definitely use an upgrade and wipe down there machines more frequently not very good with sanitation.

Will not be going back to this gym they didnt have child care and they act like my 10 year old daughter couldnt sit there while I work out I will be looking for another gym

The manager/wife Maddie is passive aggressive who agreed that she discriminated against me based on her assumption who makes assumptions and discriminates based on her bias views her husband Glenn has no say so in gym policies instead he passively speaks to you while trying to mAintain the peace with his wife. I wouldnt become a member even if they gave me a free membership.

This would be a great gym but the manager Maddie is so rude and unprofessional. The gym has a hugh turnover rate with keeping a good staff and this manager is the reason why. Shes ridding those lifetime memberships of members whos contacts were only $120 a year. The equipment is so outdated and never kept cleaned, also half of the cardio machines are always broken. The ladies locker room is left nasty and not kept sanitized. This room should always be maintained and kept sanitized. The toilets are left with waste in them by some members and their children. Young boys ages 5-8 yrs old are allowed in the ladies locker room/bath room while gym members are taking showers. You have no privacy in this area and the gym managers disregards complaints on this manner. I advise you to find a gym that really care for their members and responds to members complaints.My reply back to the manager Maddie, first of all my membership was cancelled 2.5 yrs ago it hasnt been 3 yrs yet. Second thing is, that everything single thing Im speaking on is NOTHING BUT TRUTH, no false reporting here. Maddie is a low rated manager. My membership was 18 yrs strong. So the many times Ive watched you and the owner enter that boiler room closet as I sat in the hot tub, and when you both came out together, both of you were adjusting your clothes. Not false reporting of that type of gym activities hoing on in there. I know how small and enclosed that closet is....SMDH. The manager has no coof just plain nasty.

I used to work at this gym and I quit because of the manager (maddy) she is a stuck up piece of work who thinks she is better then everyone her husband Glenn is an awesome person very respectful and polite and ok as an owner if he stops letting her run the day to day operations that gym will see plenty off success here is how petty she is that she band me from the gym because I quit lol PETTY but oh well just no she is rude disrespectful very impolite I’ve seen cases where she has thrown people out off the gym for no good reason she’s pure evil and I don’t recommend you to associate with this person MADDIE at all don’t even step in there this is very dark environment when Maddie is around

The gym there is good, the people who work there are ok, and the pool is way to small and needs to be a little bigger and the pool water should be more clear and clean and not feeling like slush water

Just joined today! I loved the Zumba Saturday morning class. Ithe felt good seeing people of every age shape color & size! The equipment is great! I enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi also & tomorrow Ill try out the sauna! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I felt good sweating there A ND I DONT LIKE TO SWEAT so that says a lot lol. I cant wait to bring my 4 year old there to swim with me & to spend time in the kiddie room. I loved that the kids have there own area also. Cant wait to go back tomorrow.

Horrible worst gym in philadelphia!!! rude and ignorant management. Outdated machines and very dirty.. membership way overpriced. I wouldnt go to this gym if it was free

I love this gym..all the machines are in good conditios, The sauna, the pool everything is good...The problem is they have to fix the bussiness hours..they open toó late at 9:30 al and close too early...it will be better if open from 6 am to 12:00 am

I signed up online for a 5 day trial Saturday March 3rd.From the moment I signed up I knew there was a problem. The Spanish guy at the front desk seemed annoyed when I asked which hall to take to find the weight room. I believe his exact words were, what, do you need a tour or something?. The trainer or whoever he was walked into the workout area 15 minimum later and started screaming at the top of his lungs that we all had better put our weights back. Two days later I decided to take my friend over there to see what he thought of the place and thats when I had enough. The older lady at the desk was extremely rude and accused me of having a fraudulent trial pass. It was embarrassing and unprofessional so after she took my pass and identification for the third time we left back out. I would not recommend this gym to anyone that can get to another gym, park, track or lot to work out on their own.

Hi im the cousin of lazaro i warned my cousin about this gym . And yes the manger is very rude i came here around mid march and was hoping to have a welcoming experience however i did not receive that kind of welcome, the members where really stuck up and the manger was really rude it made me feel uncomfortable esp when she was breathing down her employees back i could only imagine how the employees must felt working in this inviroment and with her i never wrote a review before but when my cusouin told me about his experience and the very unprofessional response he got from his review. i felt as though it was my job to let everyone know about this gym i didnt like her mood and the feeling she gave off to others including myself she was very unprofessional i do not recommend this gym which is why left this 4.6 star gym and went to war horse gym which is a 5 star gym and is very nice .for anyone considering this gym i would like u to also consider war horse gym i have had a very good experience here and the equipment is incredible.
