I went to Dr. Eidelson for a few years until I moved out of Philadelphia. This was the first dentist I ever enjoyed going to and it made a big difference in my dental health. Really miss the excellent service I received and highly recommend him to anyone especially people nervous/scared about going to the dentist.
Very Expensive, deceiving bad dental and customer service and couldnt care less about your needs besides trying to milk every dollar out of you.Lets start by saying Dr. Eidelson treats you like you have room temperature IQ and forbidden from asking him any questions about dental or more importantly, COST!! His simple but insulting response to every question is that he has dentist degree, teaches dental at Temple, his daughter is a dentist, he knows it all etc. Which is all unrelated to my concern about the excessive cost of a crown or bridge. Sir, every dentist has a degree and every dentist went to dental school, so you can stop bragging about your nonsense. Basically, I was highly pressured to proceed with his recommendation when it costs over $1,000 for a crown. He said that insurance will pay me back but later found out that if you are not in the network, then you are basically on your own and stuck with the high bill.If you are reading this, you can come here if you want, since it is on South Street and you have money to waste then please come. I on the other hand, is smarter than this, and WILL NEVER COME BACK!! I found a new dental place that took care of my needs, talk to me like an adult, flexible with the costs as in if insurance pays 50% of the cost, they gave me a deep discount so that I am not stuck with the other 50%.Dr. Eidelson, you can brag that your service is better for ripping people off, but the crown that I received from you quickly gave me tooth pain and became loose. Of course I cant come back after this treatment. Bye!!!
I never write google reviews but Dr. Eidelson deserves this shout out more than anyone! He treats each patient like family. He gave my fiance and I free teeth whitening the week before our wedding as a gift and it was amazing! I feel so confident in my new smile thanks to Dr. Eidelson
I’m not sure what the previous reviewer, Cynthia, expected when she showed up for her appt. My experience as a patient of Main Street Dental was quite different. I was made fully aware that whatever treatment I believed I needed had to be preceded by an exam and any necessary X-rays to determine the condition of my teeth followed by a discussion with the dentist on his recommended treatment plan. I was also made aware of the cost of this initial visit so I could decide whether or not to proceed. This is not an office where a patient comes in and tells the dentist what they want done, and he does it without a thorough exam, anymore than one would expect to happen at a medical doctor’s office. I wouldn’t have confidence in any healthcare provider who didn’t go through this process. This is a dental office that cares for the health of your teeth, not a car wash just doing cleanings.Furthermore, if a qualified dentist told me I had a problem with my gums that I was unaware of, I’d be grateful to him, not angry. I can always get a second opinion if I’m not sure.As far as how I was treated, I can’t say enough about the friendliness and care of all the staff who work there, and I’ve observed where this is consistent with other patients I’ve seen come to this office.Stuart
