As always had a great time. First show since before the pandemic. I lived the new bleacher seats they added. A nice place to sit and see your favorite band if you dont want to be up close or in the mosh pit.
Terrible experience last night. We were 30 minutes late to the start of the show and waited in line for ANOTHER HOUR before we were able to enter the venue. Absolutely unacceptable, we missed so much of the show that we PAID for. I understand extra Covid precautions, but I was at a venue last month with the SAME precautions and we were inside within minutes. I never want to come back, even if the tickets were free and it was my favorite band. Do yourself favor and avoid at all cost if you want to actually see the show and respect your time. Visit Washington DC venues, much better experiences every time.
First concert in the era of Covid was a success. The staff did an admirable job of checking vaccine cards in the long line waiting to get to the door. I love the size and vibe of this venue. The bar has its own separate area with a great view of the stage. The main pit is sizeable, and Dance Gavin Dance packed it out tight enough for a great moshing and crowd surfing vibe. Shout out to security for catching all the surfers, and shout out to bar staff for personable service. 5/5. Get vaccinated and see a band youve been waiting to see 💚
This place is a joke. Used to be a great venue but now its dirty and over crowded. You have to wear a mask but people can thrown down in a pit and spread sweat and blood everywhere. Makes no sense
The venue was great. Lots of room on the floor and over hang above. Beer selection was pretty good. Bathrooms were very clean and never had to wait.
Drove 2 and a half hours to see a show on Friday. Got a covid test Wednesday. Was not allowed in the building because I was not vaccinated. Wish I could give zero stars. Not able to get a refund either. Could go to an event at Wells Fargo and not be vaccinated. Not sure what makes this venue different. Had to get back in the car and drive home with a crying wife. Thanks alot Franklin Music Hall
Great venue for live shows located just north of Chinatown. Features bars with reasonable pricing and a tight-knit feel.
I had the best show ofy life today seeing Dance Gavin Dance, Polyphia, Wolf and Bear and Veil of Maya! The entire experience was amazing and the staff were all helpful and kind.
Vaccine mandate is taking away my rights. I can’t even go to a show I got tickets to back in May because of the vaccine requirement what a joke
A great venue to see your favorite artist at!
I saw Thrice here. Awesome venue with multiple bars, huge bonus if you drink. Huge venue with plenty of space. You also near a lot of great places to hangout before and after shows. Staff I’m sure changes, but was wondering when I was there. Not even kidding, not one rude person. They have great parking, but if you know the city there’s parking everywhere around the venue. Great location easy to get to. Had a wonderful time, I definitely recommend it!!
Went to This is Hardcore 2018 and I have to say that this is probably one of the best venues I have ever been to. The set up was great. Tip for you older punks like me and my friends, the upstairs bar area is great for watching the pit and stage. We dont have to stand in the back! The outdoor area was set up perfect for vendors and there was plenty of available parking. I was really impressed and it was a great time. I will definitely be back. Its tough finding venues that have such great accommodations.
Great place to see shows, reasonable prices on beverages. We went and saw Black Label Society here, and even though the place was packed it had a personable feel to it. The bands were very interactive with the audience. I have seen other shows here and I think it is one of the best venues especially if you want a chance to meet the bands. Staff are friendly. The only thing thats tough is that its pretty much standing room only and after 4 hours can be kind of tough. Worth it!
Ahh the old and renowned Electric Factory...Went to see Rancid, Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, The English Beat, and Angel Dust...awesome show if youre into that type of music...Cool little venue...not sure what the actual capacity is, sure you can Google it and see, but it wasnt super big as to where you couldnt see the band too well but it wasnt super small either. The sound has some room for improvement and of course prices for refreshments and souvenirs were crazy but what concert prices arent. Wife and I had a great time and enjoyed everything even the staff was pretty laid back and cool as long as you werent causing trouble.
Small intimate venue. Tasty inexpensive food and beverage options. Bar area upstairs for adult viewing pleasure with the added bonus of an All ages downstairs. Comfortable standing room. Parking is offered in safe fenced location with a nominal fee. Worth every minute of any concert here. I’ve seen a lot of shows here and the size is perfect.
This place has truly seen its years. I have been seeing shows here since I was 12 years old.It is time for an upgrade and some much needed renovations. The quality of its house sound is just terrible. Its great for kids just getting into concerts but its a very dirty venue and needs many drastic improvements. The bands that come through are getting weaker and weaker every year. I feel bad but The Fillmore certainly took over in the best way possible.
Love this place! Philadelphia landmark! Intimate space amazing to be so close to some of my favorite artists. Been going here to see bands for over 15 years now. The most recent show was St. Vincent and she was phenomenal. We got so close and our exit was epic ! We ended up next to the door that we actually parked next to. We were the first people driving out of that parking lot ot was exhilarating lol. Anyway love love love this venue. The sound system is amazing and the light and visual show she put on was so unique and super entertaining. Added to her already extraordinary performance
Awesome venue! Great outdoor space with lots of seating indoors.
Unbelievable came down here at 12:28 and theres no one in the box office when they say that theyre open just drove all the way from South Jersey for nothing!!!
Sweet venue, great sound, but SO DAMN HOT. literally watched 8 people get dragged off the dancefloor; either unconscious or severely exhausted. Once the crowd calmed down it was better, and they definitely put the fans to eleven, but the heat really effected the experience. Next time Im getting there early and getting a front row seat on the balcony.
Went here for an Odesza concert and could not have been more impressed. The venue was smaller than I expected but that made it better since there was more room to dance and get closer to the stage. Even the opening acts of Kasbo and Sofi Tukker were well done.Odesza was amazing with their live drummers and lighting effects. Id recommend seeing any of your favorite artist here since its not too large and you can really enjoy the music.
It was quite an experience!!!! First time Ive ever been there and it was a pleasure! We were treated by our friend Jude who not only showed my boyfriend Mike n I a great time but was AWESOME to my son Angelo who has down syndrome. We had seen the Dark Star Orchestra concert! Quite a show. The staff from the bathroom to security were also very friendly! I would like to ESPECIALLY mention one security woman in particular, Sue, who had gone out of her way to make my son as comfortable as possible. Also to the black security woman and the gentleman in the VIP balcony for their extreme kindness n patience towards my sons unexpected appearance. Thank you all AGAIN from the bottom of my 💓!!!! Sincerely, Kimi Jones
Great venue. Usually cheap tickets.
Great venue, amazing stage and food/drink options. Parked a few blocks away on the street for FREE. Would love to come back
Tchamli and Mala concert enjoyed it very much. great venue.
Sound is either great or horrible. Fun venue with some pretty bad security though. Still love coming here to catch shows
Great venue, one of my favorites! Been here for hundreds of shows over the years.
Awesome venue, been here a couple times and its always a blast!
Great show and venue
Ive been going to this venue since I was a teenager, great set up, get there early if you want a rail seat or the upstairs bleachers.
Great venue for shows
Security got us in and going to the event quickly. Clean facility. We were outside which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent show, with great sound. Easy to get to, not terrible for parking (Ive had much worse). No complaints.
Saw quite a few bands here and its always a good time! Place for booze and a place to buy merchandise.
The place use to be a former factory, so from the street its a very non descript building. Inside, its a great venue to see a concert/show. Caution, the majority of area is on the first floor, and its standing room only. So if youre short and want to a good view, get there early, Or head upstairs, which, has limited seating, but a better view of the stage,.
Better when it was the Electric Factory but still a great venue
Went to go see Porter here in November, great place for a concert/show. Bar area here as well, with plenty of standing and seating room.
CHVRCHES were great, the venue wasnt. The TSA agents at the doors were plain rude and ruined my mood before the show started. The sound was.. well, like the speakers without the subwoofer. Similar venues in Brooklyn have better sound.Wont be back, even to see CHVRCHES.
Saw chvrches here. one of the best concert venues in philadelphia
Circa survive show Saturday Nov 25th
This is a great music venue in the city. Large space but still small enough to help give an intimate feel. Theyve also got a balcony area that gives a great view of the stage of you want to sit and have a drink. The balcony area is 21+ (at least for the show I went to) but you dont necessarily need to drink if you head upstairs. I didnt. Theyve also got a parking lot attached but you can easily find free street parking in the area too.
Cool vibe. Less electrical decorations than I thought
This place is far out. Mostly standing with few seats, kind of hard for a 50 year old. Nice acoustics and a large variety of bands to see. Will definitely go back. Great beer selection too.
Its an ok venue, sound was never as good as other places. Over the 21 area always gets super crowded.
Social D killed it! No air inside
Looks run-down on the outside, not bad on the inside, though. The restrooms were in desperate need of cleaning, if Im honest. Most importantly, the tech crew need to turn down that bass! All three acts (Jessie Js show, R.O.S.E. Tour with two headliners) were great, but you could barely hear the singers, guitarists, and keys. Just bass. Distorted, awful, bass. Now, Ill just say this, the event staff were very kind and worked very hard! And Jessie J was absolutely outstanding, 11/10. But please, turn down the bass, it can be pounding and amazing without distorting the audio so much that we hear nothing BUT bass. Please, I promise you your patrons will be grateful and have even better shows. Its obvious how hard everybody was working! Im not trying to be hateful, just give genuine advice to get an even better show every time. Thank you for reading!
Never went inside because the performer cancelled.. Here was my issue.. No security watching the line as it backs up into a garage. Another issue we had to hear from the people on line that is was cancelled...None of the employees came down the line to tell us so we were in line for no reason. Staff stated we could get a refund but had to come back for the refund. They were not nice about it... There was a lot of teenagers there and I guess because they were young the staff spoke to them as if they didnt matter...I would not purchase tickets to anything here in the future.... They need to improve customer service. I did not go in that is why I gave two stars or else I would have only given 1.
I have always loved this venue since back when it was still the Electric Factory, and I have seen too many shows here to even count. Despite the name change and ownership change, they have kept the decor and spirit of the place alive, and I fully appreciate that! (If you have ever been there, you probably know exactly what I am talking about when I say decor. ⚙🧪🤘🏻)
Always a great place to hear music. Everyone is friendly there
Matthew Edward Hall has to be the hottest guy on Earth! WOW
Its a great small venue concert facility!
Haven’t been here in a number of years, but really enjoyed the venue. We stood upstairs and had s great view. Sound, lighting, and amenities were all good.
Like this venue.... Liked the old Electric Factory as well... A little pricey, but thats to be expected these days...A nice size venue to see a good band or rap... Good crowd for the Cypress Hill show... Everyone is real chill...
Love it!!! I travel from New York City to see the same shows at this venue that would be in New York because I love this place that much. This venue offers an outdoor smoking section with the beautiful Philly vibe that the fans that pack this place offer. Security is pretty chill also. The sound of the music is great and the hot food that is served at the counter is actually pretty decent and fairly priced. I love The Electric Factory!!!
The Factory is a great venue & everyone in Philly will keep calling it that. Ive been coming here for a long time and have never seen a bad show or had bad service. The staff is awesome and really go out of their way to make sure fans have a good time. Im sure Ill be back soon.
This is my favorite venue in the city. They have some good, no-nonsense staff that makes sure everyone is having a good and safe time without overstepping any boundaries or taking away from the experience. The drinks are pretty cheap for a concert venue and there is no shortage of service despite the sometimes large crowds. I like all of the art on the walls as well. The paintings of Benjamin Franklin really bring meaning to the venues name. The venue is a historic Philadelphia music staple.
My daughters went said it was a very good place to see a concert. Easy drop off. Pick up was tight. Easy to get to and back on 76
Great venue to see the best national and local acts. Dr. Dog, Courtney Barnett and Rodrigo y Gabriella and more. Limited seats so get in line early. Friendly staff and decent bar. Located near many good restaurants!
Only in Philadelphia can you find a place like this 3000 people elbow to elbow and we Rocked it
