Rented from University City Apts for three years. The only (yes only) good thing I can say about them is they have phenomenal maintenance personal. Fixed problems on holidays, weekend, rain or snow, etc.The management is horrible, always forgot to notify us for a new tenant showing, kept claiming it was a system error that we didnt get notified. Charged us a cleaning fee to repaint the walls. The last apartment I rented from them was filthy when we moved in, infested with cockroaches and mice (it was over 100 year old building, so it happens). When we moved out, we left the apartment in a better condition than when we moved in. Still got charged a cleaning fee (they also demolished the building a few weeks after we got charged). For the past month we were trying to get answers for why we were charged, and all they would respond (if they responded at all), was that the cleaning fee was charged for cleaning expenses.Do not rent from this company unless you want little to no management support and want to get charged a cleaning fee if you leave a spec of dust on the ground.
