No appointments available till one month out. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up. After waiting four hours, I received a text message saying that Id been automatically rescheduled three weeks later, no call, no explanation. When I called to complain, the customer service agent was unable to reschedule me. I called again the next morning to reschedule and was able to get a new appointment that day because of a cancellation. Even that didnt go smoothly as the technician arrived 2.5 hours after the scheduled time window. The technician was great, but the company needs to work on their scheduling. They must be overbooking their services. I was lucky I had time off from work and could stay home for hours waiting for the technician to arrive, but I just dont understand how someone who works a regular 9-5 job would ever be able to get an appliance repaired by Sears. Horribly unreliable.
Someone came out within 2 weeks to diagnose the washer problem but they couldnt fix it without a part. So we ordered and received the part but when he came back he realized he still couldnt fix it without a pile of more parts. So a pile of more parts were ordered and delivered. Fine so far as far as Im concerned. By then the original repair person was out on the day they had scheduled to return and a replacement person came out with no background on the problem and no idea how to fix it and didnt realize it was a two person job. So they left very frustrated and angry as were we. Finally after about 2 months of being unable to wash our clothes the original repair person came back out with a partner and did a great job with the repair. They mostly but not completely cleaned up after themselves. I would say the repair person did an excellent job once they got everything lined up but that the service itself was terrible because they didnt even manage to transfer the notes from one repair person to another and schedule the right people to come out. Two months is a lot to wait for a washer under warranty to be fixed in my experience. I would say if you have a simple job they are fine. If there are any complications or parts to order, I feel like Im be taxing their capacity to deliver a competent service. Seems like good people working through a really rotten process.
I waited 4 weeks for an appointment to be told that I am not covered for rust on a hot water heater. The rust was caused by the faulty hot water heater sprouting water from the top. The heater is covered by the additional Sears protection plan until 2024. Technician turned and turned the shut-off valve until it leaked and then said Look, you have a leak! One star because I could not post without a star rating - otherwise there would be no stars! Never again!
Good job. I was annoyed when they cancelled an appointment at 5:07 PM but the technician who came on the next scheduled window made sure to come early because I have a spinal fracture and my home health care aide leaves at 4. I was very pleased and I was equally pleased to have my dishwasher repaired!
The initial service was prompt, unfortunately things fell apart after that. The technician order the wrong part and when I called to have the correct part sent, they sent the same wrong part! After that, it has been a multiple week many phone call saga. Each time I call, I am told I will receive a refund and someone from the offline group will contact me to pickup the parts. I am still waiting for both these things to happen.
Excellent Service. We were pleased that the Sears Repairman got right to work and actually had the necessary oven ignition part needed toreplace the old faulty one. He came prepared. Which means that theSears Appliance Repair office paid attention to our explanation .
One hour after tech left machine stopped operating again. called and tried to get corrected and now have to wait 2 weeks again to get service.
It had exactly what I neededAssociate was very helpful.
Representative was professional and resolved the issue.
Repairman arrived as posted, quickly diagnosted the problem and made necessary service and cleaned uo when finished.
Dave the tech arrived early, and was very professional
My tech was very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He assessed and fixed the problem. He put everything back in its place and cleaned up after himself. I am a satisfied customer. Thank you so much for your service and your quick response!
DStill waitingisappointed Waitiing for months for refrigerator repair---still waiting
Called about possible cleaning and maintenance on six box window air conditioners. Spoke to Mandy customer service and she was very cordial and responsive. She set up an appointment for Monday, Sept. 14th. The only thing missing was a confirmation email that we never received. Hopefully, it will all work out for the best.
Treadmill repair - Tech Dave was great
Repaired my riding lawn mower
The tech that came to the house was nice. However, Sears charges 140.00 to come out to look at the problem. Mine was the fridge want working. The tech said it wasnt worth fixing and I should really but a new one. I said, if you fixed it the 140 would come off the repair bill, does it also come off the price of buying a new one. He didnt know. I paid the 140 and tried to contact Sears about getting a new fridge and hopefully get the 140 taken off the price. After spending over an hour on hold, 4 calls at 15 minutes each. No one ever picked up and I ended up speaking to no one. Went to a local appliance place and bought one there. Dont bother with these people, techs dont have answers about getting new appliances rather than fixing the broken one and no one at Sears answerers a phone.
Although the turnaround time if you need parts can be a few weeks, the technician is very friendly, his diagnosis was spot on and he describes the problem well. We felt like we were in good hands.
Repairman left without completing the job satisfactorily. He raised the front of the cutting assembly as required but did not raise the rear so that my riding mower cuts unevenly as a result.
Our Fridge&Freezer stopped cooling. We made an appointment with Sears for repair. During the appointment window they cancelled. We made another appointment for two days later. The repair person showed up this time but the repair, which cost about $450, fixed nothing. We got another repair person to come the next day who said the fridge was not repairable. So we wasted days and a lot of money and ended up buying a new fridge. What a nightmare! We will never buy a Kenmore again, or hire Sears repair.
I waited my scheduled repair time of 1-5. Received a call at 4:45 that my appt. Was cancelled. I Was rescheduled for 2/1/2 weeks later after waiting 2 weeks for the appt. That was cancelled. I called another repair company that came in 2 days and repaired my appliance.
As he was working on our treadmill he explain everything he did. he said our treadmill was very clean and well taken care of.
This is the 2nd time the technician didnt have parts for my repair. 1st time it was my washer and this time it is my dryer. Technician ordered my parts and will return in 2 weeks for my repair.
No longer Sears nor is it a repair service
I’ve never had a problem with Sears. However, the technician said he didn’t have the parts for my water heater on his truck. Okay you can see what’s wrong and order the part. He did come on time. Said my gas value was bad, okay just order the part you can install when it arrives. He said that they don’t have the part he doesn’t know where to get it. I said I will call the manufacturer. I did pay that’s what you do . I realized today that he forged my signature on the work form. I called today someone was very rude. Said basically it wasn’t Sears problem I should take it up with the technician. He said we only service Kenmore products. So why did he come out, they have my information on file. I called the parts department, was told that they do have the parts for the water heater and they do service other brands appliances . I am exhausted and quite disappointed with the service.
Hasnt been fixed yet been rescheduled for 4 still waiting
On time, efficient. Technician explained everything thoroughly. I would recommend him without question
Great service & experienced serviceman makes for a very satisfying conclusion of my appliance problem
Very efficient, knowledgeable and capable repair person. Were very happy knowing that our kitchen appliances are backed up with Sears appliance repair
Cancelled services. 2week wsit for repair? Refrigerator/freezers are a necessity
My worker arrived promptly and was on time and was professionally dressed in his SEARS gear. He did not spend a lot of time chit chatting and after exchanging pleasantries he got right down to the business of fixing my garbage compactor. He wasted no time getting to the root of the problem; made the repair; explained the repair and then offered a SEARS extended warranty. While I rejected the warranty (given SEARS significant financial problems) I was, however, very pleased with the service that I received. The final charge was reasonable and the service was very good.
Service tech was very abrupt and tried to charge my bank card 424$ and change which caused my bank to locke my card so when he next attemped to charge the 125 $ it was declined and he further tried to charge me 0ver 700.$ to service my ho water heater. I personaly felt like he was a racist.
Never had an issue with The Sears Appliance Repair Warranty. If you buy an appliance you should always buy the extended warranty. It will always come in handy. From losing a knob to a complete breakdown. Its covered.Thank You Sears!
I have had the same tech for a few years now. I had my W/D, Stove and Rangehood checked this time. He got right to work. My only issue was he is an older gentleman and was forgetting things while he was there. Her did finish the work. Nice gentleman tough.
The positives were the ease of booking and the high quality, automated, confirmations. The negatives start at the diagnostic fee. The mandatory fee is almost double most of the local stores. Our local stores never called back though. The repair person was very rude and not personable. To the point that I almost asked him to leave my house on the return visit. Very passive aggressive and condescending. The repair person fixed part of the problem on the first visit and left a mess. Water all over the floor, dirt from under the washer on the kitchen floor and all the wrappers for the new part and the old parts on my counter. He did not wear his boot covers and tracked dirt in the house. Then he ordered another part for the handle. We had told him we felt the handle was fine and that it was the haphazard way in which he, snugged, the washer back in that was preventing it from closing easily. He insisted we needed the part and in a mocking way gestured to how hard it was to close the door. We ordered the part and he came back a second time. He replaced the door hinge, which, is now harder to close. He then left the washer out on our kitchen floor and told us it is not sears job to put the washer back. Laughing as he said it. As if I was stupid to think the sears washing machine technician would come to the house, pull out the washer, fix the washer and PUT THE WASHER BACK. Sears has contacted me several times and I have given negative reviews on their customer surveys. They have not contacted me to inquire further on the reviews. The fact they sent me a link to give them a public google review tells me they did not check the private ones.
Thats for the refrigerator....the guy was sick...yeah I know cold and flu season...but you are in my refrigerator, wear a mask, wash your hands! Not to mention I had to ask him to not slam the door, and to close the freezer door while he was on the phone for five minutes with Sears. And I dont think he really did anything. In the past Sears would come, clean the fridge, etc.PS The dishwasher guy, Mike, was awesome! he gets 5 stars!
It took a week to get the initial appointment where the repairman evaluated the problem. Extensive parts needed to be ordered and delivered which took 10 more days. The repairmen who repaired the machine were quick, efficient, and courteous. Everything was covered Nader the warranty. Only rated it 4 stars because of the time involved in the project but otherwise I was very satisfied.
They technician was with awesome approach & his knowledge of Washer parts & diagnosing the problem was superb. Qualified & experienced personnel.THE ISSUE arose when he gave me the pricing estimate for the repair of issue that he diagnosed. It was almost double $ the price of brand new Samsung’s high-tech washer. Who is the stupid out there at sears PartsDirect to price old machine parts this much high??? Tell that ignorant scum that world is totally reformatted by Chinese technology guys. Anyway, I said thanks to the technician with due regards. Refused the estimate & repair. Sears Charged me $135 diagnosis fee (I already knew about) meaning they charged me $135 to tell that I can trash the machine now as it was useless to repair this white elephant.Best is DO NOT hire “Sears Appliance Repair” services. They would give you ridiculous $1000+ repair cost bill estimate after diagnosing the problem in washer. And you would end up paying $135 for them to enter your home. Save $135 and add some more to buy new washer (Don’t forget to buy 5 YEARS WARRANTY/PROTECTION PLAN as I did buy from Lowe’s...Best Buy also have the same kind of warranty. Both Lowe’s & Best Buy warranty is far less than $135 diagnosis fee of Sears appliance repair and guys that warranty includes/covers unlimited diagnoses and repair costs including those expensive parts).... If you don’t need to use Lowe’s plan for 5 yrs they would refund you 35-50% back that you paid for that plan.
The repairman was friendly and knowledgeable. He repaired my washer quickly and answered all my questions. This was the 1st time I had to use the service. The best investment Ive ever made. Good job Sears.
Arrive at time promised. Professional and friendly service technician. Repair accomplished very efficiently. A good company to do business with. Price a little expensive but well worth it.
Can I give 0 stars? We have the protection plan with SEARS, that means we give them money each year to fix our appliances if they break. This was the second refrigerator we had with SEARS, the first one broke so many times they had to give us a new one for free. Different brand. We got a Kenmore with the hope it would not brake. The time wasted just on phone calls, money spent on small food shopping trips, almost every day.We had our refrigerator broken for 6 weeks because there are not enough technicians for all the repairs they have: do they only sell junk refrigerators? Finally, the tec came with a trainee and worked for 3 hours on the refrigerator. Lets put aside the unfriendliness of the older guy and the younger one who left to Get a package that was delivered to his nearby home. They thought they fixed the refrigerator and left. During the day the temperature was decreasing steadily as it should. The refrigerator seemed to work. The next day the temperature of both freezer and fridge were again high.We called to have it fixed again and they said there were no appointments available before 2 more weeks!!!!!It is August, summer, without a refrigerator!!!! Well, now it is almost September.... I decided to buy a new refrigerator somewhere elseNO more SEARS for me. They will not see me anymore.
The technician did a great job, he was friendly, knowledgeable and he explained the process. He even cleaned up very nicely after completing the job.
Sears service is the best. Professional, timely & courteous. Would not go any where else!!
Our service tech was great! We have a 6 yr old front load washer which began stopping mid-cycle.He was familiar with our machine and solved the issue( the door lock mechanism !) in 15 minutes! He was professional and easy to talk to. Our washer is as good as new!
Our technician texted us shortly before he arrived. He was extremely thorough when diagnosing the problem with the lawn tractor. He worked diligently to get it started. Ultimately it needed a carbonator. Once he installed it, the tractor started up and ran great.
Well, this was a maintenance visit which I had not had it over two years. The SEARS representative was in and gone within less than 15 minutes at best. Did a few quick tests and said all was in order.I know this was just a garbage disposal, but...we will see.
The service men arrived promptly at the time frame. They quickly told me the reason of the problem ( my washing machine had stopped in mid cycle) fortunately they had a spare part in their van to repair it. The charge for the repair was reasonable. Great service. This was the 2nd time that I had used Sears Appliance Repair
I have 0 complaints with the Sears repairmen Ive encountered. The servicemen came on time. Since my freezer issue warranted analysis of the problem. The resolution involved the ordering of a new ice maker unit which was installed by another service-person. Barring a part delivery issue with UPS my experience was stellar. I am and continue to be a happy Sears customer.
Sears did an outstanding job in fixing my Moms range and demonstrating outstanding service. The technician, Leonard, was incredibly helpful, kind, and focused on fixing my moms range before our big Thanksgiving Dinner. He did a wonderful job in demonstrating customer focus and a commitment to excellence. The range was fixed and Thanksgiving dinner was perfect!
The tech was polite and knowledgeable. He worked fast and also ordered a replacement knob for the range as well.
No parts available to repair the problem.Still waiting for a settlement.
Guy was knowledgeable, prompt and fast. First time in long time had a good experience with Repairs
Recently informed my washing machine was installed improperly by the Sears delivery team the D3 code means the machine was not balance upon delivery upon calling Sears to address the damage this has caused I was placed on hold for more than 15 minutes later calling back the next representative just said to him/her hell with this customer and hung the phone up no reply to my questions just laughter in the back ground and then a dial tone. This is the worst customer service Ive ever received and you can best believe I will never purchase another large appliance from Sears
Really professional gentleman. They where ready to work and knew what they where doing and what was needed. They cut no corners I would very much appreciation same services all the time from sears.
The technicians were great. The 800 customer service was terrible.I had a washer go. The technicians had difficulty diagnosing the root of the problem. Which I think is due entirely to my machine being a dud. Because after going through ALL the options (replacing multiple parts) that could causing my issue, it still doesnt work properly and I am getting a replacement. However, this also meant I got to meet several technicians over many visits. Every technician was polite, took their time work to do their work properly and called their tech support before giving up for that day. I would definitely use the service again. I honestly wish I could call them directly instead of the Sears Warranty number. The 3 stars is because the Sear Warranty 800 number is TERRIBLE. First you must speak to a bot who can not actually help you in anyway. Plus the bot is the annoying kind that they tried to make sound like a person. Then the actual people are not much better They said they ordered a part and didnt. When I called and asked why the part hadnt arrived, they said we dont order parts. I also had difficulty scheduling and rescheduling appointments. Many of their phone people have thick accents. Which is not an issue if the background noise is cancelled out with good phone equipment and the service rep speaks a little slowly. But neither of these things happens there. Their phone reps English is as good as anyones, but, they are in a rush and speak too fast to be understood, especially when the call center is loud and Im trying to hear them over their co-workers. Even when Ive asked them to slow down so I can understand, only half of them have actually slowed down. Worse is that most didnt bother to listen to WHY I called.Ive had to loudly interupt them to say things like, I cant understand you, please speak more slowly. And that isnt what Im calling about please listen to me. Once for either of those is annoying, but, nearly everytime I called is unacceptable.
Service was rep was very good. Fixed the dishwasher rack I broke and gave me some helpful hints on keeping my dish dispenser free of buildup! ! He came within time frame and called to let me know he would be arriving shortly. Didnt give five stars because Sears service is so expensive but I saved 20% by signing up on line.
My experience was excellent! Most importantly my stove is working perfectly! The serviceman was professional, polite, friendly and COMPETENT. He was in my home for about 45 minutes and got the job done. Thank you!
This whole deal, their appliance repair, is a sham. I provided the manufacturer name and model number of my window AC unit yet still had to pay $199 +tax AND LABOR for their technician to inform me they arent even able to order parts for my window AC. Sears has no problem ripping you off - they are not the company they once were which explains the closure of their stores and filing for bankruptcy.....
I had a water softener serviced on 3/3/17. The technician was professional and courteous. However, after completing the attempted repairs, he realized it did not fix the problem. He promptly told me I would receive a complete refund which made me think that Sears is serious about their guarantee and reputation. However, now two weeks later and several phone calls to their service number I only get the run around. I give them one star for this repair and process because it is the only way I could post this review.Randy
The technician did not show up on the day promised. I received a call telling me he was tied up on a major call. When he arrived the next day, the preventive maintenance of my furnace was well done.
The service was great, the gentleman who came was polite and professional. The only problem that I had with the whole process was the time; they stated a time frame and came finally almost two hours late. It is hard when there are other things that you have planned during your day.
The service technician was wonderful !!!!I was not happy with the window of arrival though.I was given a window between 8-12. When the techniciandid not arrive, I checked for an update and found the NEWarrival times were changed to 2;15-4;15 pm. When I checkedfor an update @ 3;30 pm, I found the times AGAIN changed to5;15-6;15 pm.I know this is NOT the technicians fault and probably the resultof OVER SCHEDULING ! I did NOT ask for this day, it was given tome. I would prefer to get a date that isnt over booked and have thetechnician arrive with in the window I was given !I did not appreciate spending my whole day waiting for a simpleyearly maintenance check up on my washer.
Your technician left me with a washing machine that doesnt work. I am totally upset with this poor service. My A/C service was excellent.
The technician was to new he did not have all of his equipment and had to refer to another technician over the phone and a second technician that came was more knowledgeable then the primary tech.
Had my furnace checked to be certain it was in working order, and it was given a clean bill of health. Two weeks later had to recall the techs to see why I had no heat. Sears came out and assessed the furnace again and got it up and running without any additional charge, but I had to take time (entire day) off from work to wait for a tech to arrive (betweeen 10a-2p). i wish the time slots could be more precise, but in the end my heat works, and that is the main thing! Thanks Sears
Sears Tech. ordered the parts required and than schedule the visit to install the parts. It was like clock work. Awesome
He was a very professional repair man, with a beautiful personality. A gentleman at his best! Thanks Sears I can always trust sears to send their best employees to do the job right!
The Repair Man was very knowledgeable on washers. He saw the problem right away and had the parts to fix immediately! I was thrilled with Sears and his quick repair. I thank you!!!
Once the serviceman finally arrived (there was some kind of screw-up with the scheduled time), he fixed the problem straight away and the washer works just as it is expected to. He was pleasant, friendly and very well skilled. No problem at all with the service itself - the scheduling was a bit of a pain tho. Once you get em there, they excellent!!
The repair technician was great, however the issue I have with Sears if having been a customer of Sear since the early 1990s I have been so disappointed the last 5 years. Having to wait a week on numerous occasions for a week to have a tech come out to repair the problem (refrigerator/freezer not cooling, dryer not drying...) The customer service is no longer their priority...shame as I was always a loyal customer to Sears.
I have a service contract with Sears. They do a great job. Lets hope their service business survives the rest of the Sears businesses with their recent financial reorganization. Thanks Sears for being a great Company over the years. I know the Rosenwald decendents, great people!
My repairs were not completed, did not receive my parts
Sears Appliance Repair was very prompt and flexible in scheduling a repair visit. Technicians were courteous, professional and very clear in terms of the work being done. I appreciate that they suggested valid cost effective alternatives.
My first experience was on January 26th. I had an incompetent technician come to my home for ten minutes without checking the oven at all. I told him about the error code and he stood there telling me that it may have gotten moist and that nothing was wrong with the oven. I went to bake dinner that evening and the same thing happened: burnt food, error code F10, and that annoying signal that stays on until I shut the oven off at the breaker. I missed a day of work for nothing. I called sears repair back at 7:00 pm that same evening to speak to a supervisor. The technician had not even completed his work order to say that he did anything while he was at my home . So the supervisor couldnt tell me anything about that appointment. She scheduled me another appointment on January 29. This technician was awesome. I told him the same thing about the issues I was having. He promptly went to work, assessing the problem and working to repair it. He did his job, apologized about the other technician and told me if I should have anymore problems to call sears back. I was so very pleased with the second technician but had the first technician done his job correctly there would have been no need for a second appointment.
The warranty based maintenance/check up for my Kenmore fridge was great. The gentlemen telephoned in advance to let me know exactly what time hed arrive at my home. He was extremely pleasant and capable. Although he wasnt a young person, he laid flat on the kitchen floor and vacuumed out all the dust that had accumulated underneath the fridge. He pointed out that it was from my pets, and was bad for the compressor. He advised me to be sure to mark my calendar for next years check up. Thanks Sears !
Repair guys was great. Knowledgeable and polite. Seat on the other hand was horrible. My refrid was 2 years old and 2 expensive parts were broke. I lost all my food - about $300 worth, I had no refrigerator and freezer for 2 weeks. And they did nothing to help me. I will never buy any appliance or anything expensive at sears.
I received a call when the repair person was on his way, and the repair was completed efficiently.
Repair man very friendly, efficient and thorough. Checked my refrigerator and cleaned underneath it.Worked at a good pace. Very satisfied with his work.
The Sears repairman (dont remember his name, but he is from Bulgaria) was kind to call regarding his arrival time.He was professional and respectful. He was a gentleman, and I would request to have him as our repairman again!!
They gave me information I needed
Have been trying to get a portable Soleus air conditioner fixed since mid-June 2017. Four technicians have been at my home to work on it thus far. Multiple parts have been ordered. Initially the unit was blowing warm air; it hasnt worked at all since the first technician looked at it. The technicians have literally spent HOURS taking the unit apart, looking confused, and then reassembling the non-functioning unit. This is the stuff of a Three Stooges short. Cmon Sears. This is appliance repair, not organ transplantation. Now the other portable unit, purchased the same day as the first, isnt working. I have services agreements on both units also, but I doubt Sears will be able to fix either unit nor will I get replacements even though both are still under warranty. Calling customer service only adds to the frustration (if you are able to get past the automated prompts). After this experience, I will no longer purchase ANYTHING from Sears. Not even a manual screwdriver; it may not work.
Sears service is absolutely horrific. If you are thinking of getting Sears service - run! The Service Repair Men are rude, unkind, and uncaring. They missed their appointments twice and nevery called to say they are not coming. Appointments were then rescheduled for 2-3 weeks later. The dispatch team and customer service are a nightmare to deal with. We are almost 90. We asked to be put on an emergency list. We were told Sears cant because too many people lie. Everyone just blames someone else and passes the buck. Our A/C was out for 6 weeks. So we didnt have AC for 6 weeks during the hottest heat wave in years. Did Sears care? Absolutely not. Did they try to help. No. It took 6 weeks for Sears to fix our Heat Pumps compressor. The sad thing is that this was the second time this year! Our heat pumps compressor broke during the winter also - just a few months before this. It took 4 weeks for them to fix it that time. Again, they were never apologetic, nor had even a hint of care that two elderly people were living without heat in the winter or AC in the summer.Sears is a nightmare and the worst customer experience ever.
Excellent, fast service. Very gracious technician. He did a great job. Thank you Sears. I know when I have to get something repaired, Sears is my #1 go-to place.
The service once the repair person arrived was fine. However, he was supposed to arrive between an 8am-12pm window and I had to call Sears 3 times only to learn that he would not arrive until after the 12pm window and well after it at 1:30pm. Sears should notify me as the customer with updates rather than me having to call them. And for the repair person not to show up until 1.5 hours after the window is unacceptable. Also the people who answered the sears customer service line said they would send a message to the repair person who would get in touch with me, which also never happened on both times I was told this. I have worked with other delivery/ repair companies who handle the customer communication issue much better and more proactively. I expected better from Sears.
I received prior notice of the arrival of the repair team. Both the repair person and the trainee were properly attired, mannerly and efficient. They left the work area clean and worked together well.
Very nice repair guy, very friendly and fixed the washer in a short amount of time. Needed a new pump, works perfectly now. Good price, great service, thank you!!
The service was for my annual washer and dryer check up. The technical part is always great. Unfortunately my dryer was scratched during the service. It is one year old. I called Sears and someone is coming out to look at it. The service man at the time said he did not do it. He seemed upset understandably. Well sir, so am I.
I had ordered the replacement part in advance of the service call because I knew it was the exact same failed part that was replaced 3 years earlier and didnt want to waste time with a diagnostic call and then a follow up appointment to install the part. The service person just had to pop the touch membrane in and it now works properly. The only complaint is that he was supposed to call 30 mins in advance and just showed up so my daughter had to let him in as I was at work.He installed the new touch pad membrane but didnt bother to set the clock to the correct time. Otherwise, the oven controls now work and Im happy it was fixed. Its an expensive gas range with a very poorly designed control panel.
I took half a day off from work for a scheduled appointment. No show, no call until 4pm. At which point they tried rescheduling me for another day. I would give them 0 stars if I could for no services rendered and no professional courtesy. I wouldnt recommend doing business with a company that is this cavalier with their customers time.
My friend offered to help your service person, the response was if this was a 2 man job they would have sent 2 men and the best way you can help is to stay out of the way. Before completing the job he requested assistance with the door because he couldnt fix the hinge by himself. After he left I noticed the strip was omitted off of the new door.
I first bought a Samsung washer from sears it wasnt even a few months old and it was acting up had the where i can spend my tech come out 3 times till sears told me to pick a different model went there to pick one out the salesman said that the LG was a great washer so I took his advice and got that as a replacement now I have to was my clothes 2 to 3 times for the same load to get clean and I already had the tech to come out twice and now they want him to come out again for the same issues I would not recommend buying this washer and going to sears because all Im getting is a runaround there is other retailers out there where I can spend my money Im not happy at all
I have always kept my service contracts with Sears up to date and I was never so glad as I was this time. The repairman arrived early even before the window scheduled, which worked well for me, I was not kept waiting. He immediately diagnosed the issue and my washing machine was back in service within 20 minutes. They had even sent the right part ahead of time, when I made the appointment for service I answered a couple of questions for the technician and they knew exactly what was wrong and they were RIGHT!! I say if you are thinking about dropping any repair contracts dont! It would have cost me more than the washer to get the repair done without my service contacts!!
We are gratefull for our Sears Appliance contract. Our experiences with the technicians have always been wonderful. They are knowledgable and really listen to my appliance issues. Their responses are thoughtful, they are great problem solvers and they are always willing to offer explanations when asked. Our last technician had been in our house before, and he remembered what he had instructed me to do. Its a good thing I remembered and have been following those instructions!
I have always used Sears for all my in-home appliances. I have never been disappointed.
Repair came on Saturday afternoon. Fridge broke again Monday morning. Now I have to wait for them to come yet again and waste a whole day because their timeframe is so large.
Technician s were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Did a great job! Very easy to get appointment.
There was no repair because Sears failed to successfully identify the problem on the first diagnostic visit and then still charged me for the visit. I will avoid all Sears products and services in the future.
Very prompt & professional in doing the ride mower maintenance. I received a call prior to his arrival and was shown the parts that were replaced.
My Kitchenaid dishwasher is one of five appliances covered under a Master Protection Agreement with Sears. Three weeks ago there was a loud noise during the wash cycle. A Sears technician replaced the motor and pump. The dishwasher ran for one cycle and then would not start. A second technician got the dishwasher started with instructions to let it complete the wash cycle which I did. Afterwards it would not start. A third service visit was scheduled for yesterday between 1 and 5 PM. At 2:30 I got messages that the technician was on their way. At 3:45 I got messages that the repair visit had been cancelled and rescheduled 5 days later. I contacted Sears to express my disappointment in the lack of repair and the lengthy delay in rescheduling a third service visit. I spoke with a person who does the scheduling and their supervisor and neither had the authority to give an increase in priority for the third visit. They also would not connect me with someone that had the authority. Earlier this week I was contacted by Sears with an offer to extend the dishwasher service agreement for an additional year at a discounted price. I told them that I needed to be convinced that Sears could actually repair the dishwasher before I would consider extending the service agreement.
My experience was excellent. The parts arrived on time, the repairman was prompt and courteous, and he was skilled in diagnosing and fixing the problem with our dishwasher. I highly recommend Sears Appliance Repair.
