My barber was on the phone with a girl he was interested in the whole time I was getting my cut. Had to explain my haircut style several times to get it the way I usually get. Even after showing him a picture of how I cut it in the past. Besides that, the final cut look good and I was seated right away a day before the holidays.

Ms. Lilly cut my sons hair today. Hes got several, wild cow-licks that many barbers and stylists have ignored. But Lilly takes pride in the work she does and paid careful attention to my boys unusual, genetic hair growth patterns. I do believe she gave him the very best haircut hes ever gotten in all his 16 years! Very impressed with her work ethic. She knows her craft well and it seems her colleagues are also quite skilled. Every cutomer I saw leaving Sus today was smiling and looked great with their fresh haircuts!

The staff don’t seem to listen to understand your ask - it feels rushed hectic the hair cut was rustic ! Over priced and place don’t look all that clean.

This morning my boyfriend went into the shop to get a fade and the first thing that guy said was “hold on let me get myself together” that’s already a red flag. So my boyfriend of course gives him the benefit of the doubt and thinks it’s the morning time it’ll be fine. Well he was wrong.... the guy who cut my boyfriends hair, cut him SEVERAL times on the back of his neck and his chin and proceeded to apply alcohol.... DONT GO HERE!!!!

Messy gossipy barbers. Supported this place for almost a decade. Had lice for the 1st time ever in my entire 30 years of life that I got from my son (who got it from other kids) Instead of telling me they told every barber in the building and sent me home. Lice is rare in black households so we didnt notice till days later. Now the barbers that worked there tell other barbers Im the guy with lice. The most humiliating unprofessional experience Ive had in my entire life.

I been going to Sus since they open. Everyone in there can cut pretty good. So for the people out there that only let certain folk cut they hair. Go in there and just get in a chair and youll be pretty happy after you get up.

Best cuts in town... I moved here from Dallas and every barber I went to turned me and my sons down saying we need to make an appointment. Walked in to this barber shop and they won us over with their service and made us feel like we were still in Dallas. We will get our hair cut here for ever

Last Wednesday I went to get my hair done by Whitney. One of the best experiences Ive had in a long time. Awesome atmosphere . I will be going next week to get my hair colored and highlighted. Cant wait. Anyone who is thinking of going please do you definitely will not regret it. These girls are fabulous.

They just made me wait 45 min to tell me that the person that I usually get my haircut from its book for the whole week, what a disappointment.

I really think this is the best barbershop there is around this area. Ive been getting my hair cut here by everybody. The only problem i have with this shop is the lady at the far left in the front. She messed up my hair so bad i had to wait 3 months to get my progress back. But besides all that everybody else can cut really good hair honestly.

If you dont have a barber, just grab a number and grab a seat and youll be served ahead of the ones that have reservations. All the guys and girls there are great and can do most of the modern hairstyles. If you dont know what you want they can recommend it to you as well. Most of them charge around $20 for a regular cut plus tips.

My son went to get a haircut and he sat in that chair for 2 hours, while the barber talked and text on his phone. The guy was rude and ugly, he didnt get his name, he did say he had a daughter in college or something. I myself would have walked away after 15 minutes, if Im not your first priority, than Im not your customer, and he told my son that, he said he didnt care about my son, but he sure did demand his money and tip. Ill find out his name, but you know who you are, and the owner should be ashamed for hiring such disrespectful barbers. My son is young, but Im sure he learned a great lesson on Friday, August 16, 2019! Oh, and my son had to fix the haircut when he got home, I helped him!

I always bring my son here. Connie is the best. She is very reliable and works well with children. I recommend my friends to take their boys to Connie. She always works Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Her station is in the back so you will probably have to ask for her.

Fantastic cut. Friendly people. The shop has an upscale, modern look and the price is a lot less then what would be expected. The barber really made an effort to give a good looking cut and recommended coming back to keep sideburns and hairline edges crisp. Great customer service.

I have been to sus twice. The first experience was great! I had an Asian women cut my hair. Her lines where straight and the fading effect was amazing. I love getting great fades. The second time around I saw only men. I figured they could do just as great. I walk in, I dont get a hello. I sit and wait patiently for someone to cut my hair. Then I see 3 other men come in and sit. Right away the barbers ask those men if they want a cut. Mind u... I sit right next to a barber who was on his phone. When those 3 men walk in, hi what can I do for yall . All 3 of those men got a hair cut before me. I waited 20 minutes and still no one helped me. So only male barbers will cut male hair? I dont get it!

Had a hair cut very recently by the manager whose name is Su on last Saturday, she doesnt keep any hair catalogue at her place. So when I requested her to give a layer volume cut, she just did a hug mess with my hair, the cut of left front side doesnt match with the right front side, because during her work she does so much unnecessary conversation rather than put any sincere attention towards her service to the customers and always keep bragging about her expertise in cutting hair. Besides dont let customers to use any type of cards rather than cash on Saturday. Really dont know how this type of person receive the certification from TEXAS COSMETOLOGY LICENSE as well as TDLR. Also the place is as dirty as anything.

I took my son there for the first time and the guy was awesome. We got there early so the guy told us to wait and he would start us as soon as he set up. I went shopping at HEB next door. My husband tried this barbershop because it was closer to home and was super disappointed at the service. He got seated right away and showed a picture of what he wanted to get ( a fade on top and longer on top 2 inches) he had longish hair. The barber “faded” the sides but did not blend at all, it looked choppy and crooked. And refused to cut the top. When my husband told him he wanted it cut, he kept repeating “are you sure?!”After my husband said he was sure like 3 times and the barber didn’t cut anything he gave up and said he was all done and tired to pay with his card. The guy had a card reader but didn’t want to use it, so he had to walk to HEB to get cash to pay.I’m disappointed at the quality of his work and the unprofessionalism. My husband will not be going there anymore to say the least.

This used to be a good place to go for a haircut but now its a total waste of time. Unless you have an appointment with one of the barbers or know one on a personal level they will not cut your hair. It doesnt matter if you are the first person there as soon as they open. They will skip right over you and keep telling you the people they are placing ahead of you are appointments. Besides Sue, no one greets you or asks if you need any help. And all the barbers they have available are not there when the shop opens so besides 2 or 3 thats always there when they open you dont know when the others will show up. I wasted an hour trying to get my haircut this morning. I got there as soon as they opened and there were 2 people ahead of me and my next door neighbor. I waited for Sue to finish one guys head and then one of the people that was already there went next. During that hair cut this lady comes in with her son and after Sue finished the guys hair she started calling the womans son to come get a hair cut. I spoke up and told her I was next and then she started telling me she would cut my hair next and they had an appointment. Even though they knew I had been there over an hour they were willing to make me wait even longer and I had been there before them. I sat back down and my neighbor who had been there before me said she and her son had been waiting for almost 2 hours! And what makes this even worse is im a regular!! So my advice to you is dont plan on getting a haircut in a timely manner if you dont have an appointment or know the barbers on a personal level!

It was hot. No A.C. Their credit card machine was down. I got charged $25 for a trim but im happy with the quality. The A.C. made things really uncomfortable for me and its crowded in the waiting area.

Best barber shop in Austin! Su never does me wrong.

Huge, brand new barber shop in north Austin. They have a large waiting area, free wifi, and more than a dozen flat screen TVs to keep you entertained while you get a cut or wait. Byron cut my hair very well and showed me a new way to style it that I hadnt considered before. Cuts are inexpensive compared to the nicer spots in Austin (Birds, Floyds, Finleys) but the level of service and professionalism is similar (no free beer though, but they have coffee). Also, none of those upscale shops are in far North Austin so its nice to have a new spot in the neighborhood.

I went to see Sue about my wavy, frizzy and hard to control hair. The daily use of a flat iron was causing un-repairable damage and making my hair even more difficult to work with. Sue recommended the Japanese straightening system. She tested a section of my hair 5 days prior to my scheduled appointment and I loved it. I had a beautiful section of straight, manageable and HEALTHY looking hair! I went back to Sue yesterday to have the full treatment done and I couldn’t be happier. When I woke up this morning all I had to do was brush it… No More Flat Ironing For Me :) Sue and her Japanese straightening system is, without a doubt, The Best Thing I Have Ever Done For My Hair!!!

My husband tried this place out, due to being short on time since it was around the corner from where we live, an oriental gentleman with tattoos ( I dont know his name) told him he could take care of him and give him a fade just as my husband asked for. So this guy gave my husband a fade. It literally looked like a child gave him that haircut. It wasnt a fade, as a matter of fact it looked like a lopsided chili bowl with no fading effect. One side was longer than the other, edge up was horrible. This barber didnt know what he was doing. I wouldnt recommend this place at all.

In Austun on Spring break and son needed a cut... Will not go back the clippers were duml and I am pretty sure dirty because my son bumped up and had red blotches before we got out to the parking lot...

I asked the lady to cut my hair so that it was longer on the top and slightly shorter on the sides. About 1/2 inch on the top. She initially cut the top of my hair to the correct length and then proceeded to blend the two lengths together until they both were the same length and much shorter than I had specified. Additionally when I asked for her to shorten my bangs she cut them off, well I guess they are shorter now. I asked her not to give me a buzz cut by the time she was done that was what I had.

So I left. Last time I got my haircut there some Butch looking lady cut my hair and I was soooooo unhappy I will neeeeever ever come back . Take my advise runnnnn take ur money elsewhere. I have always been able to get in and out quickly with a decent haircut. Not the closest or most convenient location but is pretty much open every day.

I took my boys to Sus because the place we normally go was closed and they both got great cuts. My oldest son is extremely picky and actually loved his haircut.
