I started living here in Oct 2019 and it saddens me I will be moving out at the end of November (2 years). As far as the area, I really came to love my unit where at first it was not my first pick due to the gate being right next to it and traffic flying through but it was very spacious and I did want a corner one. When the pandemic hit there were a lot of crimes nearby going on even within the property but I came to recognize that is every where. The place is right here close to every thing. As far as the unit itself, VERY SPACIOUS and homely. I love it and it is perfect for my little family. I want to give a big big THANK YOU to Lety and my Rose! THEY ARE THE BEST!! Always so friendly and even at times when I was frustrated they still were very professional and communicated calmly, never rude like I have dealt with other property management. They are always so helpful and offer what they can to answer any questions. Of course, they have to go by the property owners rules, there are new owners coming in October. Frustrations had came when maintenance at one time was rude and after I brought it their attention he corrected his behavior. Over all, if I wasnt moving back home hours away, I would be releasing for another year for sure!!!

So disappointed my unit was not cleaned prior to moving in. No smoking is not enforced. Previous residents obviously smoked and used the toilet and backyard for their ashtray. It’s a nice unit, but I’m not impressed with the lack of cleanliness on the sidewalks entering the property and people that use the office parking for their personal parking spaces. Gates have been installed but are not operational.

Having a issue with my water heater still not resolved, maintenance guy is very rude having a full fledge argument with me In my house regarding the hot water which is still not working every time I have a issue and he has to come fix it he has a very nasty attitude not people friendly at all! Called office to advised management of what happened office staff did not sound to concern no empathy for the issue I literally was in tears on the call. This was a horrible experience!!!

Im currently a resident and let me just say I cant wait till May I will not be renewing my lease. Lets start off with the rules only apply to new residents from what the office staff explained to me the residents that are grandfathered in are allowed to use their garage for anything they like to but then again thats not true because a resident that has moved in across from me has her garage used for more than her vehicle. The office stated that you can only use your garage for vehicles only but the rules dont apply to everyone here Ive seen multiple residents with a whole livingroom set up in their garage one also with a wood shop set up plus one with an automotive setup now below is my garage and the office gave me a lease violation for this. I guess when u are grandfathered in you lease dont have to be renewed either 🙄 because if it did who wouldnt they have the new so call rules that everyone else have? These townhomes are walking a fine line for discrimination because no one else is being made to clean out their garage just me and I know this because everyone garage is still full and I will be submitting pictures also to show how the rules dont apply to everyone. Please I have reported that my hot water isnt working and the maintenance man came and said he cant turn the water no hotter but my water was hot when I first moved over here now its lukewarm and not killing any germs I also asked the maintenance man to check the water by feeling it and he said he couldnt he checked it by the water heater also there is always dog poop in my yard and I also have to end up picking it up I guess that rule of poop and scoop doesnt apply for everyone either just all around stay away MAY cant come soon enough. And let me add that when I talked to the office both of the reps had two different reasons why I need to have my garage cleaned out with nothing in it at all

Spacious but not well made. Rent is very high compared to places in the nearby area. Renewal increase is almost 200 dollars.Pool conveniently closed for repair around major holidays. They never answer the phone. Maybe that will change now that there is new management as of this week. The old manager Paula was TERRIBLE. Always rude even when she was proven wrong to her face. I told her I had been calling for days with no answer or callback. I finally went over on my lunch break and she said we have to field about 40-50 calls a day, so we may not get to everyone- Is it not your job to field calls! I see why so many apartments are empty, they dont answer calls from inquiring tenants! She then asked me if I was sure I called the right number. Are you serious! She checked the caller ID and sure enough there were all of my ignored calls.Hours of operation are pretty variable. They are there when they feel like it. I cant wait to move. She asked my son if he really lived there when he was at the pool with this cousin. Not cool at all!

I was worried about my clogged sink and they made sure I had someone come to my townhome that night. The complex service was great, but the plumber was somewhat rude and scratched my floor up. Was just glad the sink was clear and running!

Since I moved here Paula has been extremely helpful with things that I didn’t understand. This was my first time doing everything alone without my husband due to him being overseas and she’s was able to understand that and give me some knowledge on things I didn’t understand. She communicates in my opinion well with residents by greeting them when she sees them or by sending a text message out to the residents letting them know what’s going on.

We currently live at the Towns on Tenth and have been completely ignored by management. We spoke with Paula and never get these problems resolved. We tried to come this past weekend so we can talk to her face to face, and the office was closed per the usual. We have major issues with what goes on here including trash cans being left out since Monday and we always get sent a “friendly reminder” to bring them in or be charged a fee and I guess that’s just another empty threat because people leave them out anyways. It looks like no ones maintained the property recently. I also tried to schedule with someone who was helping the property a couple of weeks ago and she let us know that Paula is not in office and would have her reach out when she’s back and once again never happened. We literally sat there and watched her email Paula requesting the appointment and printed us a copy because we were genuinely upset with the lack of communication. However we were once again ignored. We are contemplating just taking the charges and breaking the lease it’s been so unstable with the staff and managers never communicating or getting back to us in a timely matter. We’d love to speak with someone from the Leaf Group so maybe we can handle this before we just go through with breaking our lease. Don’t listen to the reviews that are on their page on google, if you look at all the new ones they’re all the same story with this property. I’m sure I’ll get a response now that in posting this not only on this page but the company page.

Within my short time living here, I am very pleased with the staff as well as my unit. The houses are beautiful and the neighborhood is so quiet. Residents are very friendly and I havent had an issues with management. I did have serious roommate issues upon moving in, but the property manager was extremely helpful in figuring out the best solution for both parties. I appreciate him and his staff so much! Overall great place to live!

Apartments are nice, the amenities are ok, but could use more. Landscaping is a joke. Would be nice to have gates. Was bought out by new owner so we will see what happensUpdates- October 2019- communication needs work on- office staff needs to be more friendly. They have started working on pavilion cover/ back yards/ and hiding the ugly pool equipment from the road.Updates- December 2019 - posted some pictures of the new renovations.. now let’s see if all the new landscaping gets watered and survives.Updates Feb 2020- fixed the front fence and have added gates. Wish they would work already though.

Towing strongly enforced in parking spots in front of the office. Even after hours and during a different time period than is posted! Rent is very high, there is NO shade at the pool, the BBQ/entertainment seating by the pool is separated by a locked gate so no one ever uses it.

My mother lived here for one year and it was the worst place ever!! Parking sucks, they tow everyday even when you are sitting in your own car! They have had three management turnovers. After one year the lease rent up 200.00 that is the most ridiculous renewal price ever. If you have to pay 1745 to lease why Are you only able two guest at a swimming pool?!? Jimmy is so rude when you speak with him such a diva, and they charge for EVERY single thing! Don’t do it. Also, she put down a 800.00 deposit and I even witnessed the cleaning and they claimed they can’t release the breakdown for another two weeks! They even threatened residents that they can’t post anything about the living experience until after three months of moving out, Totally a RIPOFF!! People need to know the truth.

I’ve been almost a year and I’ve been trying to contact management to discuss the charges from my move out. After many attempts and several “I’ll have my manager contact you” I just found out they sent my account to collections NO PICTURES NO CALL BACK NO NOTHING horrible place to live. They will keep your deposit then charge you more. It’s mighty funny how my damages was almost 1 month of rent $1900

I have been living a Towns on 10th for quite some time now, and after reading the recent negative reviews I felt compelled to write this review. This is by far the best property that I have ever lived at. My Town Home is beautiful, the neighborhood is very quiet and convenient to shopping too. Since Paula has taken over as the manager here there has been a noticeable change. The property looks better, and I always get a response from her. Maintenance issues are also taken care of in a very timely manner. Yes. There may be times that you go to the office, and no one is there. But, its only because Paula is the only one that works in the office, which or course means you might have to wait for her to get back to you, but she has always gotten back to me. I have no complaints, and I would recommend this property to anyone.

Waited at this location for 35 minutes on Saturday and no one ever arrived. I left thinking maybe they were helping with someone else so I came back about an hour later and still didn’t see anyone in the office. I even tried to open the office door and it was locked. Drove by Sunday and again no one was there and the office looked closed. Not sure if it’s now closed, online it says open but there’s duct tape on the hours sign. Really inconvenient when I set aside time to come tour and hopefully lease a new home and no ones there. You should really correct your hours online if you don’t open on weekends!

*****************TENANT ADVISORY*****************I’ve reached out several times to the community manager Paula or maybe Pauline about my concerns and she always says someone’s in front of her and she will call me back an never does. Why answer the phone if you can’t actually address my concerns and she has no sense of personal space. I spoke with her another time face to face and she proceeded to walk towards me pretty much inside my house as we conversated. This place has and looks like it will continue to go to the dumps. There was furniture thrown and trash every where almost all weekend and I talked to her about it and she let me know they’d take care of it and that took forever to complete today, right in front of the entry too. There’s NOTHING luxurious about living here besides the music that plays as you wait for no one to ever answer! Waste of money. Absolutely can’t wait to move out. Only reason I decided to be anonymous is because Paula’s made many threats towards us and we just want to let people know the truth without having someone call us to try and lie about our concerns and her supposed actions to improve anything here.*********TENANT ADVISORY**********

All of the other recent reviews of this place are accurate. The new manager has some serious issues as have the previous managers. We moved in 2017 and the manager and unit then were so much better. I am not sure why they are letting such nice townhomes go down the drain so bad. There is a reason it looks like half the units are available - I am sure they will be out of business soon.We had 2,730 in refundable deposit in our unit. We cleaned, had the carpets PROFESSIONALLY cleaned the day before we moved out. Covered nail holes, painted, swept, mopped, wiped down all cabinets, floorboards, windows, baseboards etc in order to try and get our deposit back. We have photos and videos to prove all of this.We requested a walkthrough with Paula. She never showed and was just sitting in the office ignoring the meeting when we dropped off the keys.She just sent us our move out statement is is claiming $2,300 in fees and only returning 430 to us. She claims the entire carpet needed to be replaced on top of charging us for things like 10 lightbulbs?! I’m not even sure there are 10 lightbulbs in the entire unit, let alone the implication we sat in the dark and didn’t change light bulbs. She also is charging us for “door steps” whatever that is, and a 211 cleaning fee.To top it off, we haven’t even received the check for that small amount and they have ignored all of my emails to speak them. They are in direct violation of state law which requires a deposit be returned within 30 days.I’ve never personally experienced such a giant rip off and blatant attempt to screw someone over as I have with these people.People should stay far away for this place. Also the “response from owner” you see on these other reviews to email customer service is ridiculous as well. I have included them on every email with Paula and they have never responded.***Also been meaning to add for a long time that most of these positive reviews are fake. They all came at the same time under old management. Do your research and look on yelp as well.UPDATE 10/10/2019. We sued them for withholding our deposit, and we won. I highly suggest others do the same if you are in the same position. Do not let these people get away with ripping you off.

I am going to keep my identity private so there isn’t any retaliation with the property manager Paula. I am currently living in Townes on 10th and there has been numerous major situations with Paula that I am not happy with. Let me start by saying on Sunday 4/28 I had my window open and was enjoying the beautiful weather. I was watching a family at the pool and there was an adult present. I saw Paula come out of the office and specifically heard her tell the man who was sitting there “who are you, you don’t look familiar” one of the kids said “he speaks Spanish I live here and he is visiting our family and watching us “ Paula then walked in front of the kids the youngest looked to be about 4-5 and the oldest around 10-11 and told them very rude and disrespectful to get out of the pool. Some of the children got out right away after she then said “you have to be here with your mom or dad he isn’t on the lease” there was a younger child who didn’t get out and she caulked her head to the side and starred the kid down and said “did you hear me?get out of the pool now and leave the pool area” she then proceeded to follow behind the family as they were exiting the pool to their house.First of all—The lease specifically says in section 19.4 “We may exclude from the apart- ment community any guests or others who, in our judg- ment, have been violating the law, violating this Lease or our rules, or disturbing other residents, neighbors, visitors, or owner representatives. We may also exclude from any outside area or common area anyone who refuses to show photo identification or refuses to identify himself or herself as a resident, an occupant, or a guest of a specific resident in the community.”The kids did state who he was and which resident he was a guest of. I am not the only one who heard this disgusting behavior.I will tell you this much— stay far away from this place. Ever since Paula has taken over things have gone down hill and I no longer look at this place as home. It’s sad really because I cannot wait till my lease is up. All of my family and friends and any near by human that I hear looking for a place to live... Townes on 10th will not have my approval or good review.

I totall don’t agree with any of the other reviews for this company. Townes on Tenth musty have made some improvements since I couldn’t be happier with living in this community. The staff is very caring.You won’t regret living here. They offer you the best renting experience. Jeremy really want their tenants to be happy with the management, as soon as you call for any issue they take care right away. I have been living here for almost a year and Jeremy the manager is very knowledgeable and dependable. Jimmy is always helpful and kind when you reach the office for any concern. The townhome has great features as granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, large size bedrooms, and the living room is roomie, the open kitchen is a plus, 4 cars garage and fenced backyard, I really can call this place my home.I would recommend this community if you are looking for a great and safety place to live.
