As a former state housing agency employee, my move-out charges were a bit of concern on a few levels. Awaiting a phone call and/or e-mail as per the call made/e-mail sent.Charged for things already addressed & on file and not my doing (spreading moldy carpet, especially after raining/humid days). Reported twice. Person who did the walk-thru listed in writing that it’s being taken from my deposit along with other fees.

Got to take a tour with Chloe the other day, and had a blast. I’ve been touring around the area and no one was as excited or knowledgeable of their property. Would have signed for her customer service alone, but the price was just as great. Very appreciative of this community!

Changing this from a 5 to a 2 because the previous review was asked for by employees working a community event.RENTERS BEWARE. When we moved into this place we had to vacuum EXTENSIVELY and were vacuuming up clay like material that still has our vacuum not working correctly. This place has quiet hours at the pool but boy are they hardly ever enforced. I get weekends. But mid week until 3am. Don’t bother trying to call the courtesy officer because first your routed to a third party whom then notifies the courtesy officer. MAYBE they’ll show. People put trash outside for someone to pickup. Our neighbor across the hall had a mountain of garbage that began to leak. There are no words in the English language that properly describes the smell. Anyone whom opened their door in the hallway undoubtedly would have the smell waft in. The folks whom pickup the trash basically said eff this and just let it sit there for weeks letting this garbage continue to leak. And our neighbor responsible for the garbage was not going to hold themselves accountable for their garbage mountain.The only reason this place is getting 2 stars and not 1 is because we had to find a place that had a short lease option. When we moved out (after only 3 months) they charged us out of the security deposit for painting cabinets. 3 months. How?If you do move in, be very thorough for what’s damaged in the apartment, because they will no doubt charge you for something a previous tenant damaged when you move out. The horror stories that we hear from other tenants we made friends with make ours look mild. Really take a few minutes and think before you decide to go with this place.

So it looks like Lantower is under new management. The woman I just talk to, Tina, is amazing! I really liked her. Very inviting and friendly. Theyre planning these really cool Luaus and events and after 2020 Im excited for a block party! Im touring next week with Tina. updates to come. 💃

When you are living in the apartments, the most important things are the 1. safety 2. communitys quick responses to the residents reasonable needs such as maintenance issues.1- Lantower Tech Ridge is located on the borderline of City of Austin & Pflugerville, It offers quick access to the major highway but tucked into the quiet, nice part of the city which leads to the less exposures to the crime.2- The leasing staffs are friendly and they (Chloe & Joyce) open their ears with kindness to hear our concerns and try their best to address the issue. And I cant appreciate enough how the maintenance staffs always show up so quick to resolve the service issues and gets the job done right! The maintenance matters usually gets taken care of within a day which rarely happens these days anywhere you go because of the under staffing issues. Really appreciate your guys Luis, Waracy, Luce!

My experience with this apartment management is beyond miserable and unlawful.I have been forced to live in a hotel since the snowstorm that hit Texas/Austin area. It is now more than 3 months, and the apartment complex didn’t put a nail in my apartment or take any step to fix it.The apartment complex is ripping off. They are making me pay the monthly rental and the same time they are not letting me live in the apartment claiming that they are working on the repair.I have reached out to the complex several times and they failed to make any effort to do anything about my current situation. They refused to give me an answer about how long It will take to fix my apartment. They refused to move to another unit a courtesy or even offering paying for the moving expenses.  I have filed a complaint against them in the office of attorney general of Texas and filed another complaint in Better Business Bureau and Austin Tenant office. I am about to reach the limit of my insurance policy and I am paying out of my pocket for both the apartment that I don’t live in and also for the hotel room.  I don’t know what else to do. I am considering hiring a lawyer as I feel there is no outcome from this management, and I am going broke.My advice to any tenant, DO NOT COME HERE, you may end up in a situation like mine.If I have known how careless this management is, I would not have rented here at all

I was a resident at TechRidge as a transfer from sister property Edgewater.Office reps and maintenance staff were all very friendly, supportive and prompt with inquires and repairs.Staff provided community resources in which during this time of COVID-19 was very helpful.I personally never experienced any issues that required law enforcement, so I would recommend TechRidge as a safe place to call home.

I absolutely loved living here! I lived in a 1x1 unit for the past year and never had any issues! Management was always very helpful to me and quick to respond to any issues I was having. There were some recent upgrades that are AWESOME (smart locks, smart thermostat)!! I only moved because I needed to be closer to work, but I would have renewed in a heartbeat otherwise!

This is my 2nd time staying in NXNE. I lived here back in 2016 but it was under different management then and I loved it. So I’m happy to say that when I moved back here in 2020 the new management that took over has meet those same standards that made me love the property! They are super responsive and flexible with you. Especially during such hard times. Big shout out to John Flores and his staff for the continued support they have provided. They are always looking into fun things/treats for their residents which is always a plus! I would definitely recommend this GEM to anyone who’s looking!

Do not move here I was tricked into moving here over a year ago and this has been the worst run property I have been to. Let’s start with the issuesProperty itself:This place is one of the dirtiest properties you will see in Austin. Trash is always over flowing into the street. Mail boxes people just pull flyiers out and throw them on the ground. Pool always has a new issues. Nobody cleans after their dogs so lovely surprises all over the grounds. When they chose to clean the hallways they just spray a pressure washer down the hall and soak everything so don’t have floor Matts out there or say good bye to them. Also people will be out until 2-3 in the morning screaming at the pool so I hope you don’t like to sleep.Safety issues:My wife had to call the police 3 times out there 2 times because someone was trying to break into cars and the final time Bc sketchy people tried to follow her. My own personal car was tampered with had to file police report. Place had no gate and some really sketchy people come in. Also have homeless come and harass you since there is a large community of them near by. My apt was also tried to be broke into when I moved out broke my screen off so I suggest getting a stick to put in sliding door it saved me for people getting in.Maintenance:A month after I moved in it rained and it shorted out my microwave, maintenance 24 hour line didn’t care that it was sparking said would deal with it later they came 2 days later took the microwave out and put a new one in also to “make sure it wouldn’t happen again” cut the vent off my microwave which cause mold and never came back to reattach one, after I made 2 or 3 different maintenance requests. So if it breaks here you better off fixing it yourself.I have had many more issues here to list out just took a couple snapshots of the apartments as I left this is how it looks daily. Do not wast your money here you pay way to much for what you get you have way better options around don’t get fooled.

The office staff is so nice and helpful! When I reach out I get a response by the next business day. The maintenance guys are friendly and very professional! Apartments are very nice and well kept. The only reason I am choosing 4 stars is because the parking spots by my building are so small and there never seems to be enough space.

5 stars!!!Lovely place to live...love my apartment, very spacious with modern amenities!a great place to call home. The entire staff always greets you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean daily, under the new management. The workout room is open 24/7 and are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely.. . I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....close to stores and great shopping too!

I have lived here for several years. Some of the negative reviews are a bit extreme. This property is above average. I have an upgraded apartment which is nice. Management has taken care of all of my requests in a timely manner. The changes at the property are typical of any place you may rent. The grounds are cared for and noise is close to none considering it is an apartment complex. The location is convenient if you are commuting to the domain area and downtown. I would recommend.

Beautiful complex with great amenities. My apartment was really nice and clean when I moved in. Management was really nice and accommodating. My apartment was close to shopping and the expressway which made my life easier. I had to move for work but I would definitely recommend living here.

I have lived at tech ridge for almost 2 years now and just renewed my third lease. I have seen a lot of improvement lately and I am ready for the pool in the summer. I have a dog and having a private fenced yard was what sold me!Tech ridge for me has had its ups and downs but recently the new team, especially Eric, has been super helpful and responsive. They recently changed lights to a brighter LED and I am so thankful. Keep it up

Its nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. Rude leasing professionals, ants crawl throughout the apartment through the windows, and they are always in your business. Youre not treated like a person. They treat people as a commodity. One star because at least the outside is nice.

Im dropping my review from a four to a two. Lantower has been using COVIDs as an excuse to close the luxuries we pay for. The pool is still closed, even though surrounding complexes keep them open. I can go to a restaurant but cannot enjoy the pool I PAY to use. I can go to a Starbucks and get a coffee, but I cannot enjoy the sun and BBQ with close friends or family at a pool. This management company here treats its tenants like children. It is pathetic, it is insulting and I will not renew my lease... Their closures on our luxuries is in excess of our Abbots recommendations. Not to mention, they have not stopped the extra fees sense this has started, so we are paying for services we are not receiving. Im done with this place and the managing firm

I complimented this place after living here for one year, but after that time, it went all the way downhill. They neglect the entire complex, so it is dirty and crime-ridden, they harass residents who complain about their poor service, and most recently, they tried to stick me with a $500 bill for move-out charges. They tried to send me this bill by email, and only two weeks later sent it directly to collections. The management is an absolute joke. Go to the Vineyard Apartments next door. For about the same pricing, you can have MUCH better amenities, management, and feel safer living there. I am so glad that I moved away. I will be on the list of 3 people I know who have had to now resort to legal action against such a fraudulent, underhanded, horribly run complex.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!MY UNIT & BUILDING HAS BLACK MOLD!The management will push you to sign a lease, when you need a maintenance request- GOOD LUCK. The mold has gone untreated, repairs take forever and theyre done poorly.Besides the mold, this complex is not kept in good condition, the complex is always dirty. The units were put together so fast and without care. NONE of my doorstops align with my door, and my bedroom walls have cracks from where the building is/ has been starting to settle.NXNE is owned by LANTOWER RESIDENTAL they also own Ambrosia and Clear Water. There are so many other great apartments out there, DO NOT waste your time. Ive provided information on my mold issue and how management has handled it. Pictures also included.I have BLACK mold, its gone untreated since September 9th 2017.I moved into the NXNE apartments located at 14233 The Lakes BLVD in September 2016.Management informed me there were some other units experiencing this same issue, and reassured me that it was only mildew. Management stated someone from the maintenance team would come monthly to my unit to checkup on this issue. Initially, maintenance did come out occasionally to check on the issue, but stopped after several weeks. I had to submit additional requests each month to continue to have my apartment inspected because the issue seemed to persist.Over this time, I began to feel sick, Id wake up with headaches and itchy eyes, and my asthma had progressively gotten worse. I took time off of work on April 27th, 2018 to go to the doctor’s office, I informed them of my conditions, the physician put me on another inhaler and recommended I have my apartment tested for mold. On May 1st I put in a service request to management to have a maintenance worker check my unit for mold, on May 4th I got a notification back indicating there was no mold. On May 9th I hired a professional mold service (MITmold) to come and inspect my unit. The inspector removed the vent cover from my bathroom and verified before testing that I do have mold, which was noticeable on the inside of the vent cover and within the vent duct he had removed. The attached report states that I have elevated levels of mold in my unit and that professional mold remediation is recommended to solve this issue. This has been an ongoing issue Ive dealt with since last fall, Ive repeatedly requested NXNE management to check for mold, only to have the issue improperly addressed; NXNE neglected to properly test, verify and correct the mold issue on multiple occasions. Each time, maintenance would simply wipe the vents or paint over the areas in question.I contacted management May 11th 2018 after receiving the 3RD party mold inspection report indicating elevated levels of mold in my unit and that professional mold remediation is recommended to solve this issue (email, call and office visit) NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Mold still persists in my unit.I pay almost $1000 every month to this luxury housing complex, and this level of care for their tenants is extremely unprofessional.To the MGMT reply 3 weeks ago..... See the latest picture taken on 7/6/2018. I still have mold. I would really like to see a copy of the inspection NXNE completed. Ive yet to see the mold inspection paperwork.

When the complex blames the weather on fining you, thats a serious problem.If youre using Google Maps reviews to base your decision on your next apartment, do notice that most of the five star reviews here are from those visiting and that negative reviews are from actual residents. This very low score is being written up to offset the average overall score this place has.Lantower Living (or NXNE, which was a much better name), appears to be a beautiful apartment from the outside. Nice, modern lobby, an expansive pool, and luxurious amnesties. However, this apartment has some major cons, namely security and fee transparency.Here, at Lantower Living, you never feel secure. Only my second week living here, I was awoken at 4 in the morning to flash bangs and sirens when the building across the street was swatted. Four months in, the apartment next door caught on fire, and their residents left without a trace, causing policemen to knock on my door, inquiring about their location. This complex doesnt even have a gate, like other apartments in The Lakes do, leaving some cars open to be vandalized (which has thankfully not happened to me, yet).And then theres the fees. Want to park in a garage, shaded spot, or even one of those reserved spots? Thats a fee. Want to have a pet? Only half of the large deposit is refundable. Forgot to tie up one of your trash bags you leave out for the valet? Fee. And not only are there fees, but sometimes, you cant even trust auto-pay to cover your expenses since management or the higher-ups or whomever fail time and time again to update your balance on time each month, causing you to get a notice and, sometimes, a late fine fee.Ive heard nothing but great things about the other apartments along this street. Look there. You can live here, but know what youre in for.

Very loud, very dirty, and unsafe. I spent 3 weeks in this apartment and would not recommend to anyone who works during the day and sleeps at night. In the 3 weeks I spent there, I saw police activity every night. The place comes alive after 7:00 PM and it feels like a horror movie.Lantower is on my top 10 biggest regrets list in life. The office and pool look nice but the buildings are terrible. I failed to read the reviews and visit buildings prior to sign the lease, and that was a huge mistake. Lesson learned. Do your homework! Walk the property. Speak to current residents. Visit the place at night. Read reviews. The address (location) and first impression can camouflage a terrible experience. Be aware!How sad it took Lantower Techridge only 1 hour to respond to this comment while I tried solving the upstairs neighbor disturbance for 10 days... It is too late now.

Melissa and the staff were amazing! The application and move in process was very quick an easy. The apartments are very nice extremely affordable. The location is also prime with direct access to I35. 15 minutes from downtown Austin and plenty of food and shopping options less than 5 minutes away. Also the amenities are some of the best I have seen with a resort style pool and surprisingly useful fitness center and dog spa. Overall experience is the best I’ve ever encountered in any leasing experience.

I have only been here for a couple if weeks now and already I want to leave. I had issues with communication before i even moved in, which should have been my first sign. But the day I signed the lease I was given my parking sticker and I asked where I could park and was told you can park anywhere where theres an open spot. That night, after coming back from the store I parked my car closest to my apartment as I could and went inside with my 2 toddlers. The next evening I was running out of diapers and milk so I got myself and my 2 boys ready to go to the store, walked outside to my car only to find a different car where I had parked. I thought my car had been stolen so I called the police. A couple of days later I found out that it had been towed away THE FIRST NIGHT I WAS HERE AND AFTER BEING TOLD I COULD PARK ANYWHERE. All of my family lives in Houston and my husband was at our old house there and coming the next day. I was completely stranded with almost no food, no diapers, and no car. The next morning my dad came to pick me up. The tow truck people are crooks and charging all kinds of outrageous fees. I had spent all of my money on this apartment and the deposit I was charged and still dont have enough money to get my car out of impound. I havent been able to work either because of it. These apartments literally just ruined my life. Because of them I am without a car and a job. Really great and wonderful customer service to go and tow my car the very first day I move in and telling me that I could Park anywhere!!! Thank you so much for leaving me stranded with my 2 toddlers here, I really appreciate it!

For the most part living here is fine, but this situation is unbelievable.Someone spilled a gallon of milk on the stairs in tower 2 in building 8 OVER A MONTH AGO. After my boyfriend spoke with both maintenance guys at separate occasions and people in the office a few times. Nothing. I did the same. Nothing.I shouldn’t say nothing, one maintenance guy poured fabuloso all over it making smell like feet.I also tried posting it on the community wall, but my post got declined.And now it’s attracting cockroaches.And these a “luxury apartments”.

We moved in late June 2017. It’s been great so far! The location is really convenient to work, stores, and I-35. The apartments are new, so everything works great and is in great condition.We have a dog and the dog park is HUGE! The pond and walking trail nearby is great too! We love most all of the facilities in the complex and they seem to be relatively well maintained.Management changed right before move in, which was a slight concern, but we haven’t had too many issues, so haven’t had to interact much. The one thing I don’t like about management companies is that it seems like the staff rotates across the properties, so the faces in the office are never consistent. I only recognize one person from move in to now.Last week we did have a problem with packages being stolen from doorsteps, so I wish there were some cameras or better security to prevent this. Also, the gym in the complex seems old. The treadmills (only 2) are creaky and dated, along with the other equipment. I used to love going to the gym, now I dread it.Overall - it’s been a good few months here. There’s going to be pros and cons in any complex, but I think the value here is good and the apartment has been a complete upgrade from our previous one!

This Apt complex has the highest turn over rate of Managers that I have ever seen in my entire life! There are times that people have to come from Corporate office to fill in. No one ever has a clue of what is going on and ultimately this has resulted in hundreds of dollars being misplaced from my account! Forget thinking that you can call Corporate because they have no number that allows you to speak with anyone. Next step has been contacting my attorney. I would think twice before moving here because if the Office Staff never wants to hang around, why would the tenants!??? Do not trust them with your money and think the situation will be resolved because it will not!Also very hard to get out of Apts on I35 frontage Rd! Needs to be another way to get out.

Moved to Austin in October and did not want to deal with an old unit and maintenance issues. Complex is brand new and have never had an issue. Location is nice. Grocery stores nearby. Area is quiet with nice walking trails. Wish I had a dog so they could enjoy the dog park and wash station as well!MOVING OUT REVIEW:When our lease term came up and we decided to remain and transfer to a larger unit...I had a horrible experience with the office staff. I am not going to name but the low level of professionalism caused me to change my mind about transferring to a larger unit. I much rather take my business elsewhere then to be treated as if the office staff has no time to assist me. I requested to speak to the manager and I was told she was at a different Greystar site. I requested an appointment or a phone call and that could not be granted. Really wish I would have had a different experience because I liked the location. I ended up moving further from my job, but it is what it is.

We have been waiting for our security deposit for 3 months and the management keeps changing so no one knows whats going on its so hard to get a hold of the manager so that we can discuss about our security deposit... and no one even bothers or cares to follow up regarding our needs/questions... they say theyll call back at the end of the day but never call back.

We have been living here since June of this year. Since the time we moved in it has been a nightmare with the office and a pain in the ass. We pay our rent on time every month, and never cause trouble. Management was bad when moved here, the staff was rude, and now there’s new management and I haven’t seen much improvement. I went to pay my rent one month and personally handed my money order to the new manager and SHE LOST IT. Funny too because the next day I went back to the office and asked her why there was a balance on my account still, and she said not to worry cause it should fall off. A few days pass, it’s still there, and so is a letter on my kitchen counter that said I failed to pay rent! After spending 30 minutes on the phone with someone they finally found it. Great, but no accountability or apology from anyone. Zero empathy. Including the manager. Earlier this summer, our freezer started making a loud rattling noise. Put in a service request, that same afternoon someone came and looked at it. It was fixed for the time being but we were told if it starts again, they may need to replace it. Well lo and behold. LAST SATURDAY, 10 days ago now, it started up again. Since then, we have put in numerous service requests and haven’t seen anyone. I’ve left emails, tried calling. Nothing. No response from anyone. At least old management sent an email or called us to let us know, hey, we hear you, give us time. It’s been over a week and NOTHING! It’s gotten louder and more frequent, and twice now we have opened the freezer and there is no cold air. We had to purge our freezer! A weeks worth of food gone. One of the bulbs on the track light in our kitchen went out almost a week ago, put in a request, again nothing from anyone. Now a second one is out. I am so sick of this. What else do I need to do to get a response from these people!?

I would give this apartment complex zero stars if possible. Management changes every other month and the only thing consistent is managements lack of respect for the residents. They will nickel and dime you the entire time you live there. Please save you self the headache of dealing with a lantower property and sign a lease somewhere else. This community has frequent break ins, frequent package theft and is not a safe place to be at night. Dont waste your time here.

Nice apartment, quiet, relax we never had an issue since we move – maintenances guys are very helpful and the management is very professional . It’s as been 3 years now -Great location-Great management-Great apartment-Maintenance is improvingAnd obviously is a luxury apartmentSwimming pool the barbecue and they’re running site beside the apartment is awesome.I feel safe for my family here because I’m traveling.For one off my call they are helping me on the manager is really good on replying to emails I’m taking an action as soon as possible

Over priced. Parking is terrible. No speed bumps so you always got to be on the look out because you might get ran over. Stair wells always have trash (beer cans, cigarette butts, empty fast food bags etc.).

I wish that you could leave half stars as 1 is too mean and 2 is too much. I will give NXNE the benefit of an extra star. It used to be one the best complexes in North Austin until various companies and office staffs have come in and pushed it further down in quality. I can say I am happy to have left and it would take a lot to even consider coming back.The biggest problem is cleanliness of the complex. The hallways are, and have been a huge area that needs improvement. Dumpsters are constantly overflowing and residents are forced to place trash on the ground. This leads to a nice collection of critters that know NXNE is a good place to hang out and eat. I saw a crack pipe on the ground in building 3 before I left, which was pretty awesome.Safety is another huge problem. Cars get broken into and packages are constantly stolen from apartments. I met SWAT officers for the first time ever here, and police was regularly at my building twice a week due to declining standards in people that can rent here. Also there are no gates so anybody can come in at anytime. Also parking lot lamps seem to go out frequently and take awhile to get fixed.Communication from the office is threatening and disrespectful. They have gone weeks without their phones working in the office. Your rent will most likely get lost, as you will need to pay in person because their online system will charge too much or not enough. You will then come home to a threat of eviction for not paying your rent. My favorite line from an email was we see you and we fine youOverall there are better complexes around, they may cost a little more but they are cleaner and ran by a better staff. I would not suggest living here unless it is necessary.

I lived in the upgraded one bedroom apt here and LOVED IT! It was really hard to leave! The pool was always clean, the dog wash is a nice luxury, and the layouts are perfect for my lifestyle. If i had a problem, it was always taken care of quickly and Ashley always went above and beyond to explain details of anything i had questions about. She always made me feel like she had time for her residents, which is important to a luxury community. Do yourself a favor and move in!

Since the office staff refuses to return calls and they seem to be complacent taking my deposit instead of refunding the balance I guess I am left to leave a review. I lived at nxne for awhile and loved it until current management. They never return calls and are among the most unorganized people I have ever encountered. I left my apartment in condition to be rented that day. It had been painted with all holes repaired and carpet cleaned. I turned in my keys almost 2 weeks early and was called a 3 weeks after wondering when I would be moving out. Again organization is horrible. I waited a month to hear about my deposit and the. it took 2 weeks to get someone to pick up the phone. They said there were repairs and I wouldn’t get any of them back. I asked for proof and now magically nobody can respond. They stated repairs to items that were noted on my move in checklist as damaged and I was told they would not be counted against me on move out. Here we are 2 years later and I’m charged for it. This complex will squeeze every last penny from their residents and will run away with your money if they can.Stay far away from this dirty, disrespectful, unorganized, noisy, overpriced complex. Go ahead and drive through the complex and walk the buildings and the grounds, there are no gates and security is non existent. I’m sure you will make the right choice after doing so. If you chose to stay I hope you like paper thin walls and ceilings.

This place is terrible since new management took over. Nothing but issues and dealing with employees that provide no service at all. Stay away. You can get a much better place than this for what they will charge you.Short list of issues.1. Poor behavior from employees2. Pest issues every month3. Pest control leaves your door unlocked when they leave3. The paint job was done in a hurry and its noticeable with paint on floors, counters, fixtures, and on wall plates4. You can hear every step your neighbor above you makes5. You cant hold a conversation when the AC kicks on in the living room its super loud but produces little air6. Billing issues every month7. I could go on and on but I will end with really you should find a better place and dont let the pool fool you.

The management at this property is terrible when I moved into the property two years ago I had put down on all paperwork my vehicle information I leave out of town and come back they towed my transportation to go to work over a week go I never got a notice a phone call to tell me that my property was even a problem it just suddenly told it and then swear that they did try to send me an email or phone call ask for any proof they could not provide it apt 823 in empty. They did not apologize or try to return any money heads up your black theyll tow your vehicle so you cant go to work to make you leave the property

NEVER, NEVER APPLY HERE!!! They are extremely unprofessional. I had to keep calling to even be contacted.. When I applied there was a tenant was suppose to pay the application fees, I was applying as a lease takeover. Through the whole application process they where extremely unprofessional, rarely called me back and I had to stay on them to even get any information. My application was “denied” and I wasn’t even informed... I had to press them to be informed of that.. all the while I had been in communication with The Emerson apartments (they’re amaizing if you’re looking) which are more expensive in the first place and I was in within MAYBE 2 weeks of applying... fast track to a month and a half later I get a call with a dept collector who is extremely rude when all I ask is to contact them to get more information when I wasn’t even notified I had a bill in the first place (there was ONE statement mailed to my previous address, I moved) wasn’t notified in the application process (the tenant was suppose to take care of it if there WAS, and I wasn’t notified after over the phone.) When I asked to call their team to get more clarification, yet again they would barely speak to me... and the dept collector freaked out and told me she was documenting that I was refusing to pay.. I called back 10 minutes later to pay it after “trying” to speak to Lantower Tech.. who wouldn’t barely even speak to me over the phone, or correct anything credit wise.. even if I payed the balance. I don’t even like posting reviews, but seeing as they can mess up your credit and financial standing so easily this is the only option I was left with.

Ive had a roach problem since Ive lived here that hasnt been taken care of. My apartment has been sprayed once, but the problem still exists. Its noisy here. The neighbors upstairs make loud noises well past 2-3 in the morning.

The reason I’m finally writing this review is because my lease ends at the end of the month and I must say, I dont normally write reviews but this has gotten out of hand. Also, I’d be happy to provide proof of EVERYTHING Im about to say.1st Incident - Cannot Get Out of LeaseThe day after I signed the lease, my new employer who had moved me to Austin closed down unexpectedly. I called the apartment complex and was told that there was nothing they could do to get me out of the lease, even if I just lost my job and I signed the lease within 24 hours. Not the end of the world but stay tuned.2nd Incident - $300 Towing ChargeWhen I first moved in, nobody informed me that they have reserved parking spaces and have very small printed numbers that are nearly impossible to see at night. I parked in a spot near my building, and my car was towed by the morning.3rd Incident - Police & Man HuntsBefore I get into this one, please go to Twitter and look up Pflugerville PD and search through their posts to see proof of what Im about to say. I also have SEVERAL pictures and videos that will back my story up. FYI, this happened around April of 2019.My husband and I kept noticing Police were constantly at the apartment, nearly every day for the past year. There were 2 man hunts within 3 weeks that involved Austin PD, Pflugerville PD, State Troopers, Sherifs, and Constables to arrive at the complex. Oh, and they werent patrolling, they were carrying assault rifles and were walking up and down the sidewalks of the complex searching for someone. There were also 2 helicopters spot lighting the complex. My husband took our dog out and asked a police officer what was going on and he said my husband needed to return to my apartment immediately because there was a person on the loose after a high speed chase.The second man hunt was with a car that was in a high speed chase and had exited off 35. The police captured 3 people but the fourth passenger fled through the complex. This instance did not involve weapons drawn like the last one. Instead, my 1 year old son kept waking up because our apartment was getting spotlighted by the helicopters searching the area.The security gates were installed and they stop working ALL THE TIME!4thth Incident - ANOTHER $300 TOW!!!Here we are, a month before our baby arrives. My husband just got back from another business trip and he was headed to work when he discovered our car was missing. He was able to catch one of the maintenance guys as he was waiting for his motorcycle to warm up. He told him that he had a parking pass and was parked within a Handicapped parking spot and had his Handicapped pass displayed like normal. Of course, our car was towed once again. The maintenance guy responded saying that they’ve been having issues with the towing company they partner with. Apparently, the towing company had been towing new residence vehicles for no reason. He said they were in the process of dropping with the towing company but here we are 4 months later and that has yet to happen. The maintenance guy took my information and said he will have it released to me. My husband called the front office once they opened and spoke to the Property Manager, Vickie (by the way, management changes nearly every month). She called the towing company and informed me that they couldn’t get my vehicle released because they don’t have the authority to do so.

I called and asked if lease takeovers are possible, and I was told it is possible, so I spent money and time to find someone. Then, I called to ask for the steps to be taken and (another person picked up the phone this time) apparently they dont allow lease takeovers. Because I dont remember the name of the person I talked to, they are not taking responsibility and were also rude about it. This is not the first time something like this happened. Last time, I asked if I was set to go for someone to pick up my key on the move in day and was told yes. On the move in day, my friend went to pick up my key with the movers waiting, and I got a call saying they need my written approval for my friend to pick up my key and took forever to process it. So I had to pay the movers extra money for the time wasted. Obviously, they dont know what they are doing. Dont live here.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I moved out of here about 5 months ago and was so glad to be rid of the place. Then about a month ago I get an email from Aubrey at the office saying I owe money. I replied the same day asking for a breakdown of what I owed. Aubrey never replied and then today I got a notice in the mail that my account was sent to collections. DO NOT LIVE HERE. My husband and I moved in Oct 2016. It was really nice. Then a few months ago- they did away with the initial deposit fee and its turned into a dump. My neighbors above jump up and down until 3 am, theres a constant weed smell and the computer mouse and printer are always broken. The business center is basically worthless. People hang out in the parking lot,making noise, all hours of the night. Once Greystar took over- it went downhill fast. Its sad what this place has become. I miss how it used to be!

Currently renting an apartment that overlooks the community pool. Obviously paying more because the view is better. MGMT supposedly imposes a 10PM close-off of the pool area, but completely neglects to enforce. Every single night since summer weather hit--weekday or weekend--some new group/s of people are out there from 5 in the evening until as late as 4 in the morning. Impossible to get anything near a decent nights sleep with laughter/shouting echoing off the damn concrete into all hours. Must be in earshot of at least the five apartment buildings around the pool, if not the whole complex. Close the freaking pool at night! Shut off the lights and keep obnoxious neighbors AWAY when were trying to sleep! Additionally, tenants leave trash lying everywhere--in trees on the property, all throughout stairwells, in the grass. Disgusting place, not worth HALF the price!
