I have lived here for almost a year now and love it. The property is beautiful, community is quiet. Can’t hear too much noise from the neighbors or at the pool (my apartment looks out over the pool). Every time I submit a maintenance request it’s done within 24 hours. They have events that are fun as well (I won a $500 visa gift card at one which was awesome!). Would definitely recommend!

I love living in this property! Its newly built and the outside building is clean and also the inside of the apartment is much nicer than you think. The loop trail behind the property is always a bonus. The leasing staff, Dani & Megan have such a calm vibes, positive atmosphere that you will not feel anxious whenever you walk into the office. Thankful how the manager & assistant manager are organized that they do not forget to address issues but also always prompt. The maintenance team is amazing as well! The maintenance, Tim, Mike or Jose will show up on your door quickly and repair flawlessly. I decided to renew the lease because of the amazing staff because it really mattes and affects your life when you renting the apartment.

We are extremely excited to move in to Edgewater in September! Our leasing agent, Antionette Roberts, was extremely kind and helpful in our search. She showed extreme flexibility and enthusiasm in her customer service for us. The building was beautiful, well kept, and had a functional gate to provide security to residents. Has such a resort feeling with the amenities they provide.

My wife and I came to look at the apartment and were pleasantly surprised by the manager. Dani Cooper greeted us very warmly. It was noticeable that he loves his work and is happy to show and tell us about these apartments. All together made a pleasant impression on us. During the last time we have looked at many apartments and dealt with many managers. I would call him the best I have met. Thanks for your service! I hope well see you again.

I loved living here! The apartments are very nice and I loved the pond in the back. It was very easy to walk my dog and enjoy nature. The pool is resort style. I will miss this apartment very much!

I moved in recently and wanted to provide a brief review and explain why I gave the complex three stars.General Impressions: (+1 Star)The unit is very nice. Tons of storage, great finishes, and a quality product overall. The complex is beautiful, and will look even better once the landscaping is redone, thanks winter storm. If you can score a unit looking out to the pond in the back, you will absolutely love it.Unit: (-1 Star)The unit I moved into was in relatively good shape. But definitely some oversight in making sure that it was move in ready:- There were two screws, drill bits, and other small items scattered across the bedroom floor. I caught a few of the items during my inspection but stepped on one of the screws (luckily with my shoes on) when I was walking around the bedroom.- There were a lot of small dry paint spots all over the floor, I wish they would have laid down some tarp before painting.- A few spots (baseboard, cabinet) were repainted and I’m not sure if they forgot to finish the job or what but it is not good work and needs to be touched up.- While I’m not blaming anyone in particular for this, however I think it needs to be noted. I turned on the oven to make sure it was working and it began to emit large amounts of smoke. This was likely due to some chemical used to clean the oven.Complex: (+1 Star)- The complex overall is wonderful. The clubhouse and pool area are perfect places to hangout and they look gorgeous!- It’s really odd that the gate code box is near the right side gate and not between both gates so people can drive in either way.Gym: (+1 Star)The gym is 24/7 and very large for an apartment gym. Separate room for yoga, ab work, is a nice touch. My only gripe being that the space is not being utilized appropriately. There could definitely be 1-2 more machines and one more adjustable bench without feeling too cramped.Location: (-1 Star)- This one is dependent on individual circumstances. Because of the close proximity to the highway, the road noise is extremely loud unless you’re more towards the middle or back of the complex.

If you are looking for a safe, spacious, affordable beautiful place to live with great amenities this is your place. Best part of it all is the wonderful customer service I got from the most beautiful soul… Mrs Antionette. Give it a try and check it out you won’t regret it!!!

Place looks nice and the staff was somewhat helpful...when they were actually available—theyd pick up maybe once every three days of trying to reach the front office.Had multiple items stolen from right outside my door, complained and offered a fleshed out CCTV setup plan, instead had my complaint/plan taken down by staff and have yet to receive any response on the theft.Their response to theft overall? Have a guy drive around in a truck every night, because somehow thats more efficient and effective than having 24/7 surveillance, but I digress.Valet trash service was the absolute worst—advertised as a 5-day service but working 3-4 days most weeks, and even taking whole weeks off every now and then—and was never given the option to opt out of the fees alongside the other amenities that werent available for more than half my lease.Not sure how they planned parking but it was okay for most of last year, but then suddenly this year I was pretty much never able to park within a block of my unit if I ever returned after 8.Worst part of it all was probably the fact that my unit was set up next to the dog park, and as much as Id love to see happy puppers, its not as fun as hearing aggressive barking day-and-night, alongside all the random verbal altercations that took place on the sidewalk every week. They had a hose attached next to my unit (for the dog park) and itd always leak, causing this incessantly loud whining noise that would amplify through my unit. Again, complained, and received 0 response.All of this while paying $1150/mo for a 600sqft unit. Moved out, found a 850sqft unit for just slightly more just across the freeway. No screaming/yelling, amenities arent locked down every other week, and I have more available parking space than I can count on my hands. Oh, and people walk by without even so much as peeking at all the stuff Ive openly left out on my porch.Its one thing to have poor service, its another when a 2/3-star complex offers better quality-of-life than what presents itself as a 4/5-star gated community. I dont blame the staff. Its definitely just horribly mismanaged.

I love the apartment complex! Antionette was veryyy helpful, she right fitted my girlfriend and in the perfect apartment. The dog park is huge which was one of our main concerns and we also fell in-love with the beautiful little lake in our backyard amazing to take morning walks and enjoy the view!

Dani has been very helpful since the day my husband and I moved in! We love these apartments they are quick with doing work orders and definitely appreciate your time.

We recently moved in and so far we love it. Steven and Mike with maintenance, was super helpful with the garage door programing and fixing the smart hub. The office staff is super nice too. We worked with Dani and highly reccomend him. The complex is gorgeous with great amenities, like the dog washing station(which appears to be cleaned daily), and a beautiful pool area.The only thing we recommend changing is the gate codes. The same code is used for residents and guests. So anyone who has ever toured can come back anytime with access.Overall though, we would recommend to friends and family.

Ive bothered Daiquiri and Tiffany at least 20 times or more these last couple of weeks and theyve been nothing but patient with me and then you have Antionette come with the positive energy which is highly needed and appreciated. Great place to live if youre looking for somewhere modern and affordable.

The apartments it self are nice, but unfortunately for the price one pays its not safe. We had our garage broken into, as well as vehicles. They have no security at all. As well as we are close to Highway 35 where there are a lot of homeless people under the bridge. ( Not safe)! We have also had a really bad experience over all with Lantower since the 1st, moment we applied. Apartment was not move in ready, so we had to get transferred to a third floor unit which we did not want! But had no option since we had movers that where delivering our stuff. The customer service is horrible, no one is ever on the same page, office management does not care. Also your gate fob opens other adjacent propertys gate! so talk about safe. Manager is never in the office All you ever get is excuses!! We are yet to get any feed back from the manager regarding if she has checked the cameras or any concerns. I would NOT recommend moving here. Save your money!

When we came in to look at lantower apartments I was impressed with the amenities and the cleanliness of the property. All our questions were answered, Antionette was very friendly and provided great customer service.

Dani and the staff at Edgewater were so friendly and professional. I had a sort of last minute request for washer/dryer and the units were there waiting for me when I moved in, along with a sweet little housewarming gift (such a pleasant surprise!) That put a smile on my face. Highly recommend Dani and the whole staff. Looking forward to the next year here 😁

Highly not recommend it One of the worst places in Austin especially for what you gonna pay all the staff is completely lost i been leaving in here for 3 years they all new including the manager Tiffany Bombach I don’t remember how many items people get stolen each day people broke into the apartment I live in building 2 all my neighbors has issues in this apartments my truck get stolen plus couple package in the last 6 months is getting worse and worse and they not responsible they have security yes they do the same security that it work during the night in multiple different apartments complex at the same time so easy to get into the property they know that they security is not in place they don’t wanna pay for security patrol on the property all night,I was calling them every 2 days the manager never at the office or at meeting and them claim that she is in a family emergency them if you try to escalate this the corporate number is not on service or they gonna tell you to Google it yourself and when you luckily receive the phone call from “corporate” who call is a old woman her name Elissa wiesener in case that any one need it her phone number 469 730-6247 operation manager support that woman don’t have and idea what she is doing just arguing whit you and she is already whit your answers before that she call you they are the same trash people all together as soon as she feel like she don’t have more answers immediately you not gonna talk and she gonna hang up the phone on you I post a picture of the letter that they send me for my next renewal from 1,418 to now 2,500 I’m the only person whit the renewal that high they expecting me to leave after that they are in court I sued them and they don’t care there is the letter that I just receive from them careful whit your monthly always is gonna be some difference whit the statement and always and I’m sorry or excuse the apartment complex not bad but the people who run it they better work whit animal any one who is planing to move read this and wait for it this is the first time that Im leaving a review check on Yelp reviews from peoples about them also in Google same experiences whit them and I surprised that is basically the same that was happening to me thank you guys for reading I hope that people read this and stay away from them

I left thinking I was okay and payed them my final and last bill for $1500 to leave it’s been 2 years and apparently they added more when I recently got my credit report. Beware the Mangers were very nosy and didn’t let me have friends over. I had my boyfriend over a a lot and was told to have him on the lease. I was 22 at the time and felt very taken advantage of they will get over on you I’d read the small print every paper before signing.

Truly the best place Ive ever lived. Office staff is so kind and helpful, they make your day better every time you go in the office. The pool area is gorgeous, relaxing, and well maintained. The sunsets over the pool make you feel like you are on vacation at a resort somewhere. And the apartments themselves are wonderful!! I was an applicant back August 13,2020 and received the worst customer service ever! I applied for an apartment online, paid my app fees and no one contacted me. I received emails about needing more proof of employment so I sent them in to two different people at their office. 8/19/20 I got emails about my move in at edgewater but no one ever called to say I was approved. I wrote an email 8/23/20 asking what was going on because I had not heard from anyone even when I left messages to call back. 8/24/20 a few days before I need to move, I tried to email again to find out what’s going on and Janie from San Antonio sister property said she would set me up an appointment at lantower another sister property next to edgewater. While I’m there viewing and thinking I’m approved because of the emails I got...I get a voice mail form yet another employee Dani (this is number three that has been touching my files, no consistency). They said they needed more employment verification. I had already sent them two letters but they said they only had one. So someone apparently lost my paperwork somehow but I’ve gotten automated emails to move in. Super confusing and unorganized. I had to scramble to find another place to rent and luckily I had already been approved with the other apartments otherwise I would have been screwed trying to find a place right when my lease ended. Even though they were disorganized, inconsistent, lost my paperwork and barely answered my calls... they refused to refund the fees I had to pay. I basically paid them to not do their jobs correctly. I emailed them and asked for a manager because lord knows they don’t pick up phones and they just stopped replying to my emails. They are disorganized THIEVES who still to this day refuse to make things RIGHT. Ask me for proof of all these emails and lack of communication. I’ll screenshot it and show just how bad they are at their jobs. Janie from San Antonio was the only one who at least tried to help me.

UPDATE: I was able to speak with the apartment manager on the phone, and she was understanding of the situation and reversed the fee. Upgrading from 1 to 3 stars.I applied here after moving out of another apartment. At the time, Edgewater was running a promotion where the application fee was waived. We were told that the fee would be owed if we did not move in. Since we were moving out of another apartment, we had a very short window of time to get other living arrangements set up. We told Edgewater of our situation when we applied. A couple days after applying and hearing nothing back, we contacted the leasing office. Our leasing agent told us she forgot to send our approval, but that we were approved. Over the next few days we received various move in documents, but never received a copy of the lease to review or sign. Because of this, we were unable to move in to Edgewater. I contacted the leasing office via phone a few times to see if we would need to pay the $200 application fee that was waived. They told me to email edgewater@lantowerleasing. I sent an email explaining the situation and to see if they still wanted the $200. I never received a response to that email. A couple days later my wife received and email from a leasing agent named Guillermo, asking if he could help us find another apartment. My wife responded, again asking if they wanted the $200. We never received a response to that email. We never received a call, email, or any physical mail from Edgewater attempting to collect the $200.A month later we were contacted by a debt collection agency in an attempt to recoup the $200. I disputed the claim and attempted SEVERAL more times to contact Tiffany Fulkerson, the apartment manager. Each time I called, I was told she was either in a meeting or indisposed, but that she would call me back. I have never received a call from Edgewater or Ms. Fulkerson.Unfortunately, I am going to have to pay the $200 to avoid taking a credit hit, but wanted to share my experience and encourage others to take their business elsewhere.

The management changed and it was a mistake. They are so unorganized and clearly dont care about the people that live here. The noise level during the summer is atrocious especially if you live by the pool, Night security is a hit or miss, crime has shot up, and management decided to allow people to enter our apartment to change our locks and ac system without warning. HORRIBLE experience for those of us who have pets. They raised our rent without telling us even tho our contract has a very specific amount that we agreed to pay for the term of our lease as part of a deal and if you have a problem the manager will email you but never actually does. Our neighbors are actually breaking their leases and moving out. Its crazy! A year ago I wouldve gave 5 stars. Step up your game seriously because right now this is abysmal.

Was okay at first but since leaving in December it has been a hassle and continuous go around of receiving security deposit and over paid rent back! Anytime calling the office it hangs up on you and can’t ever speak to anyone and when you do they never know what’s going on or have an answer.

Nice pool, units are good and not much maintenance needed cause new apartments but if you expect management or office to do anything about escalated issues well there’s disappointment. Consider staying on 2nd or 3rd floors cause if the person above you is stomping the office will only do unlimited calls and no repercussions. (Consider fees if it continues maybe)Carport towing fail: if someone’s in your spot take it takes an arm/leg for towing to go out cause they need supporting documents to confirm that’s your spot. I mean lease agreement, addendum, and other things before they come out lol what a joke.Nice units, nice pool, parks in the area, dog friendly, and sometimes quite but every week I regret releasing cause of the continued annoyance of being under a family who could care less about anyone or everyone telling them they are loud and without any progress of adjusting.

Just moved in this year and the apartment/management have not lived up to the reviews. There have been burglaries in the parking lot, loud pool parties until 2am and no parking spots available for residents. Management has responded to these issues with “We are aware of the problem and we are working on it” for weeks now but nothing has been done. Definitely a different tone than when I was touring the complex.If you are paying for luxury apts you should be treated and live better than this place.Don’t make my mistake and move here!

I have been living at Edgewater for 6 months and absolutely love it! Amber Grimes found the perfect apartment for me! I love the gorgeous swimming pool and hot tub! The entire leasing team, management and maintenance are amazing! Lots of fun activities for the residents and beautiful grounds and landscaping. The lake attracts beautiful birds and has a very nice sidewalk to walk around and enjoy the views of the water features and water lilies while getting fresh air and getting exercise.

Rude staff... They wouldn’t fix things for my elderly dad that I’m taking care of. The apartment manager lied to the detectives and would not provide any information for my tires being put on flat 4 times. Rent for the two bedroom is $1800 we are being over charged because of the color of our skin. I wouldn’t move here. Other neighbors are moving too because of the treatment they are getting.

This is as close to perfect as it gets! The staff are professional, consistently attentive, prompt in responses or inquiries, and genuinely caring. Tierza is amazing. She brought a care package of goodies to my work! My apartment is gorgeous and all the facilities are impeccably maintained. I signed a two year lease and plan on staying for years to come!

I do not recommend this place. The management turnover is every other month, they take weeks to handle maintenance issues (if they even respond to you), and crime/vandalism is rampant.Ive attached a few of the countless complaints from residents on the Lantower Edgewater community website. I recommend reading them and staying away.

I recently visited my friend’s new place at Edgewater and instantly fell in love with the beach vibe and pool being from the coast myself! He showed me around, and the place looks really well kept. I met some of the office people, and they were super welcoming of my visit. My little Bentley enjoyed the pet spa and a walk around their lake!! I’d definitely recommend living here!

I have had a great experience with Edgewater apartments from first visit till move in. Amber Grimes has gone above and beyond to help me from the start. I have been living at Edgewater for 7 months and the staff have been the best I have encountered in years of apartment living. Amber especially has been amazing. She was there on day one for my tour, assisted me in lease signing, and has been my go-to person with any questions or concerns. She is always friendly, knowledgeable, and shows how much she cares about the tenant experience.

I absolutely love these apartments! They really think of everything here! Good shower heads, nice high powered ceiling fans with wall adjustments instead of pull strings. Hands down best feature is the puppy spa! I can take my pup to get a bath whenever and the room is totally set up for it, making it so easy to have a clean pup all the time! The beach look definitely helps you to forget work and your worries and just relax!

Everything regarding our move to Edgewater was amazing. John, our leasing agent, was extremely helpful and was on top of our questions at all times. The rest of the staff is happy to help at anytime and everyone is really knowledgeable of the property, which is so helpful and hard to come by. Our apartment is top notch and the maintenance staff has been awesome with getting any work orders completed in a timely fashion. Overall, great property and would recommend to any and all of my friends in the market.

Before COVID 19 I would have given this place 5 stars. The apartment complex and the apartment itself was really nice, maintenance was fast, the front office was SO nice and helpful. Amber and Tierza were amazing! Since COVID though, the front office completely disappeared. Im assuming anyone who knew anything about Edgewater was let go because nobody there now knows anything about anything.I understand theyre understaffed but trying to move out was an absolute nightmare. And Im still trying to move out completely!They didnt put my notice in after I gave it and werent even aware of my move out date after getting confirmation. So I had to tell them like 3 times I was moving out. They didnt get my forwarding address and I had to call the office like 10 times to make sure everything was confirmed because there was major lack of communication between the staff. On top of that, they charged me a full months rent plus a month-to-month fee, even though I moved out the 11th.I have been trying to get the remaining balance back ~$800 or so but STILL have not received it over a month later. They told me a check was being sent but I dont even know anymore. Its stressing me out! Times are tough you know! Im hesitant to trust anything they say because everything has been incorrect. I understand theyre probably doing their best but I honestly just want my money back and to leave this whole place behind.Hopefully they can get it together or at least communicate with each other better because its an absolute mess at the moment.Update: Updating to 3 stars as I finally received my rent refund. It wasnt easy and I had to be extremely proactive in doing so, however they came through.

I have invested quite some time trying to move in now, definitely more than the average person and still, I have not been taken serious. I had been approved for a floor plan and received my welcome packet on July 7th for a scheduled move in date for August 12th for the Ambrosio Apartment complex. August 1st (11 days before move in) I received a call from the management office notifying me that there was a mix up and the residents living in the specific unit that I had already signed for, were never actually leaving. I had to call several times during business hours and when I finally gave up on only reaching the voicemails, I showed up 2 times to resolve the problem myself even though it was not my fault. Long story short, I was offered a different unit at the apartments next door (because the remaining units in Ambrosio wouldve been a major loss to the company if they were to honor my original rent) and again, scheduled to move in on August 12th. It is August 7th (5 days before move in) and I still have not received the new contract or welcome packet and every time I call the office they tell me Ill receive a contract by the end of the day.

Edgewater is amazing! I am very happy I moved here. Where do I start- the property is beautiful with all the palm trees and beach-styled buildings. The light colors are my favorite part, along with the resort style pool and hot tub! It feels like you’re living at a beach resort everyday. I love how upgraded everything is, the white cabinets and granite counter tops, sandy wood floors, huge bathroom garden tub. This place definitely stands out from the others. The cabinets are no-slam so when you shut them they close slowly and do not make a loud noise, I’ve never lived at an apartment complex that offers something like that, very unique and resourceful. I chose the bigger one bedroom apartment and it’s so spacious, rent is a great price for all the square footage. I love how they have a dog spa on site, so instead of having to take your dog to a pet store to wash them and pay $ or in your tub you can take them to the washing room they have that’s open 24 hours. The upgrades are beautiful, from the door knobs to the light/ceiling fixtures. I love coming home now because this place is so amazing and is everything I was looking for. The staff is so nice and accommodating! They have made living here a breeze and I love the events they throw to get the community together. Location is great, you have two HEBs on each side and lots of shopping centers. I highly recommend Edgewater, would give more stars if I could!

Update‐----------I wrote 5 stars review when I moved in, and now I had to update to 2 stars. I am living here for 1 year now. There are a lot of excuses and they take advantage over COVID19. They cannot manage noise problem, increased rental price (not use if it is even legal in Texas), never solve any issue when I went to down to the office. Not rexommended place to live anymore.Moved to Edgewater recently, and it is really nice! Feels safe and couldnt find any big issues in the complex. Clean and cozy. It it right next to hwy so gets little noisy outside when windows are opened, but that is not the fault of the management office. There are not many good Apartments worth highest prices in TX, but this place is somewhere I can say it is worth to live.

WOW!!!! WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE... Such a great staff here at Edgewater... The Staff always informs of local things going on in the area, and they are always hosting little events for the residences.. I would deferentially recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new place to call home

When I moved in here, my impression of this place was MUCH higher. However, these last few months have severely changed my mind. First of all, the construction is very loud near my building solely due to the fact that the workers are blasting loud music almost everyday. I don’t care that there are noises due to construction as that just comes with the territory, but it’s totally unnecessary to play loud music, ESPECIALLY while many people are still working at home due to COVID-19. I know this isn’t Edgewater’s fault, but it genuinely makes me wish I could move out now because this has been going on for quite awhile.I also don’t know what happened to most of the staff who used to work here, such as Amber & Tierza. They were super sweet and helpful, but then one day they all disappeared. I just hope they weren’t let go by this company due to the virus and then were replaced on purpose. I haven’t actually seen anyone from the new office yet, but they don’t seem that responsive on Active Building when residents write comments. They say they’re understaffed at the moment, even though crazy things are going on in the parking lot. Residents have been saying their license plates have been stolen/replaced (which is honestly wild!!), and packages are missing. I just don’t really love their lack of communication, especially at a time like this. I don’t even remember them introducing themselves to us...Also due to their social distancing measures, any non-emergency work orders are not being completed or acknowledged (seems like indefinitely at this point), so in the future if there is anything I need done that I personally find urgent, I’d have to unfortunately outsource it and pay for it because we are not sure when they’ll open up work order requests (which I feel like I can’t be that mad about since they should be prioritizing safety for sure). In terms of the complex maintenance itself, I have seen time and time again so many people not pick up after their pets and let their dogs run around without a leash when NOT in the dog park. There are also frequently non-residents in the pool without wristbands from other complexes, which I find strange. As everyone else has mentioned here, this place does have very thin walls. Everyday I can basically hear my neighbors blasting their TV next door or moving their furniture super late at night. The people below me are always playing God awful music as well. Additionally, people at the pool play explicit music in front of young CHILDREN, and when they had a security guard, he did nothing about it, even though I told him about it. However, the biggest thing I hate about living here is the fact that they have a contract with AT&T. My experience with AT&T has been absolutely horrendous, and I almost cancelled my service with them because their customer service is so horrible! There’s nothing anyone can do about it because of this agreement unfortunately so I just have to deal with it until I move out and am stuck with a 2 year contract that I don’t even want.I will say though they have done some nice things here and that it’s for sure not all bad. For one thing, the complex is very pretty (such as the pool area), and I moved here specifically because it reminded me of Florida. They also offered discounted rent for a couple of months to help offset the cost of any additional expenses due to the Coronavirus. I really did appreciate that since my hours at work were cut significantly. They also introduced a package delivery service called Fetch, which I personally love. I know it might’ve been rocky for some when they first launched it, but overall I am very glad I don’t have to go to the leasing office anymore to pickup packages.Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be renewing my lease here next year because the management and upkeep is definitely not what it used to be. My apartment is too small for my family now anyway, and being stuck here altogether with all these loud noises is definitely not helping. I’d do some more research first before committing to a lease here if I were you.

I love living at Edgewater!! They have so many great amenities and take great care of the property and people. My dog loves the pet spa and pet park 😍

I love this place! It feel like home! I love the staff they are very friendly! Amber rock!!! I love her she very sweet!!! If you looking for a home this is the place to be!

The apartment and community are good. The management is declining compared with one year ago when they opened. I recently moved out and I was charged a 31.39 for standard carpet cleaning even though I have cleaned it before moving out. I dont know if this is a standard charge for everyone or not, but just a reminder to all residents.Update 08/06:1. First of all, the staff are not the same as I moved in one year ago. You can actually find leasing offices posts on community website that some of the members left.2. One example. I was at the office last Friday to discuss about my move out. I was told the person has the information is touring with a resident. So one of the staff took my number and said she will call me when the person is back. I never received a call for one and half hour. I have to later go back to the office and I found the person to discuss my move out is there already. And the person said will call me but never did sat right next to her pretending nothing happens.3. Another example, see my original post.I appreciate the timely response from the management. But please do not respond in the way trying to make all negative reviews sound false. Most people leave negative reviews for actual reasons.Update 08/08:Thanks for your response. As you claim my information is false, Id like to clarify it as follows:1. I moved in last August. I signed my lease with then assistant community manager, Mandy Forbis, who left soon after I moved in. I have email communication as proof so please stop claim my information is false.2. I did intend to speak with John on Friday afternoon around 3 pm - 5 pm about my move-out. However he is not in office for some reason during office hour. I eventually spook with a female staff instead who helped me with my key return. She is very helpful and deserve my appreciation.3. I did not receive a refund at my move out. I received a email final account a few days later listing my deposit minus charges. I will update this review once I receive the remaining deposit.My overall stay at Edgewater is good despite some minor issues. Please dont ruin this by twisting facts.

Mjones, Worse horrifying experience ever. Was Scheduled to move in last Sunday July 21st . Arrived picked up keys to unit which had the door kicked in. Making matters worse apartment manager at Edge Water stated they put the kicked in boarded up door on unit. Was given my money orders back. They resolve to issue was zero pure ignorance. I’m In process of calling news station and HUD because owners managing the company Lantower phone lines and or communication are non existent. Have made at minimum 24 calls no answer. Been in Hotel 4 days. Will be in Hotel for more days due to this is a out of town move. They will be reimbursing any and all expenses due to Ther nonsense and terrifying professionalism. Oh they actually still tried to rent me the unit after insulting me. Unsafe complex apartment projects in Chicago looked and appeared better ran than Edge Water Austin. The staff needs to be cleaning cages at the zoo. Customer service clearly isn’t in them.

I was excited to move in here at first, especially knowing that I was going to be one of the first residents to move in (get to use all new appliances, completely clean apartment, etc..). Apartment interior for my floor plan was just what I needed, being one person and all. However, after more people moved in, I realized this apartment complex was most likely built as a response to the continuing influx of people to the greater Austin area.The builders must have spared EVERY expense when it came to noise cancellation. I can hear my neighbors on both sides having a normal conversation in their apartment through the walls, and I can hear my upstairs neighbors every footstep as they traverse their apartment (getting woken up at 5:00am when my alarm is for 7:00am makes me want to punch someone, in the face, with a chair). I can sometimes even hear my neighbors across the hall from me when they are in their apartment. It sucks because Ive become dependent ZzzQuil to get a full nights sleep, which is probably doing some serious damage on my liver and kidneys.I honestly cant say Id live here again, unless I got a town home style apartment, knowing no one would be above me or below me. But knowing the quality of the apartments, the price would have to be greatly reduced for me to consider re-signing here.

An apartment complex that will make you feel like you are on vacation all the time.
