Staff very friendly and gave me exactly what I wanted. Will definitely go back

Tonight was my first time visiting this nail salon. My first impression was not exactly a positive one, I called 2 days early to make an appointment for two friends and myself. We arrived at our appointment time and there were 3 employees and 3 customers. We waited 25 minutes and 1 of us got taken back, 10 minutes later my other friend and then at 6:50pm it was my turn (they close at 7pm). Had I been alone I definitely would have left, waiting 50 minutes when I had an appointment was a bit disappointing. I was getting a fill & the employee rushed thru my session and didnt even use a sander in the end resulting in my nails not turning out very smooth at all & you can see it through the paint. My friends and I were also charged a reshaping fee when we already had shaped nails. They had a nice selection of colors but we walked out the door finished at 7:50 pm I still tipped the employee but sorry I will not be returning.

This was my first visit to this salon. We made an appointment a week in advance and it took two and a half hours to get done. At one point I was left sitting for 30 minutes with foil and polish remover on nails obviously finger tips and cuticles were so dried out. And if this was not enough now after 5 days the top coat on nails is peeling off. Not sure if it was poor workmanship or poor product but obviously would not recommend. I did tip her even though it was not earned.

Very impressed with the staff and atmosphere. Its a clean and welcoming place and Im super happy with my nails. Much better than a lot of other places Ive been. I definitely recommend this place!

The owner, Kate, is AMAZING!!!! She is quick and efficient but never makes you feel rushed. Kates work with acrylics is on point, and she can recreate just about anything you show her a picture of. I am so happy that I found her.

I got my nails done for senior prom and they were drop dead gorgeous, the gal that did my nails put so much time and effort into the design to make it perfect and I cried from how much I loved them! 10/10 recommend going there❤️

The technique, service, being able and willing to do just about anything with nail art, I could go on and on, are impeccable even with a full house. I made soundness ahead of time & for to construction, we were running behind. I called and told them and they said, no problem! See you when you get here! I brought my daughter for a much needed Girl Day before she goes back to college & we will most certainly be returning and highly recommend. Worth the hour drive for us. The pink with a heartbeat with my husbands name on one thumb and love on the other were exactly what I wanted. I chose the dipping process & gel with tips. Beautiful job. They feel light and natural, yet secure.2 days later: my daughters nails started coming off one by one until all were gone by the next day. Two fell off while sleeping! I made the appointment but asking specifically if they did actual gel nails not acyrlic with gel polish. They said yes. I said not acrylic with gel polish, agaim. That is not a gel set. We were already there after driving there hr there, Im terminally ill, so it was a feat making it happen. We get there, I show them what I want and realize they didnt have forms out but tips. That is not a full gel set. They said, oh, no we dont do forms. And the tech doing my nails didnt know what forms even were! Had to get up and get Im assuming was the mgr. No form, so they talked me into dipping. I asked if they were solar and they didnt know what that was. They are super thick and that was one thing I said I didnt want and why I dont like acrylic. On the phone they told me $30 and my bill was $95! I will never go there again. I paid and tipped out of courtesy. I used to do nails and have everything for full gel nails and not doing tips then acrylic then gel polish. Sure, you can use tips doing gel sets but thats not what i wanted. I wouldve left but my daughters were already started 5 chairs down. My health has prevented me from doing them any longer myself. Im very upset. I get out of the house for dr appointments only, so this was to be special. Instead, I paid for nails that didnt even stay on like press on nails would.

My new favorite pedi place!! We didnt get the names of the ladies who did our pedis but they were great people and did great work for a pair of ladies who wear boots 90% of the time. Havent laughed that much in a awhile!! Great place!!

Walked in to get my nails done everyone just gave me a dirty look a very uncomfortable feeling and not one person greeted me I told the lady at the first table with the bright pink nails what I wanted and she was like ummmm it will be 30 mins she was super rude so I just left I wasn’t going to spend my money in that place

My mom and I were looking for a new place and decided to try Liquid Glamour. The woman who did my moms nails embarrassed her by making a rude comment on how her nails had been done previously, it upset my mom and she continued to laugh and joke about how my moms acrylic nails were “outdated”. Very unprofessional. Although my regular gel nails looked pretty, the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff was a HUGE dealbreaker. Will not be returning.

I really enjoy going here for my nails. The ladies are very friendly and I enjoy talking with them and the other customers. Ive never really pampered myself before but my daughter got me a set of nails for Christmas and I am hooke . My husband even said he enjoys seeing how happy they make me and for me to keep getting them.

I have been going here for over a year. I tried 4 other nail salons in Peoria and this is, hands down, the best one. I have been to several of the techs and they’re all great! I live 40 min away and tried some local (to me) nail salons as well and I always go back to Liquid Glamour.

The first time i came here, the woman was nice but did my nails kinda sloppy. I called yesterday for a appointment and the lady was just unbelievably rude and had so much attitude. I will not be coming to my appointment today nor will I go back here again. Unfortunate.

The best nail salon in central Illinois. Customer care is amazing, prices are great, and they are amazing at what they do. This is the only place I will go. Highly recommended!

Have tried to go here twice i walk in the door nobody greets you i stood there 15 mins and finally a lady goes can i help you and i say i would like a pedicure for me and my daughter she goes ok we need to check talks to another girl sits back down continues on another ladies nails and says nothing else and im still.standing there this has happened twice very unprofessional and rude

1st time going... I was looking for something closer to home and thought I’d give them a try. They were extremely friendly, which is Great! But, my nails are breaking under the Dip. Due to them having to redo my nails (twice) and drilling my actual nail too much. So, the 2stars is for the friendliest- not the service provided.

I went in Friday night 9 /21/18 to get my nails filled in and my eyebrows waxed...i was so shocked when the staff was arguing about who was going to do my nails meaning nobody wanted to! They all said they had done enough today and it was the next persons turn I will say the girl that ended up doing them did a great job and took her time but i still will not be back after this experince

I just went back with some friends, after swearing I wouldnt go there ever again.The last time I got a pedicure there I ended up with a bunch of warts all over my feet, that Id never had an issue with before. This time I wouldnt get a pedicure, only a acrylics. My nails took entirely too long, for what I ended up with. The shapes dont necessarily match from one hand to the other and some of the nail surfaces are wavy. Also, the staff was too busy being loud and talking/shouting amongst themselves to even acknowledge their customers. One staff was even repeatedly insulting their customer about what her feet and previous pedicure looked like. Not a professional business, at least not one I will be giving another chance to.

I love having my nails and toes done by girls who enjoy what they do and who enjoy making others happy with the work they do. Liquid Glamour does exactly that!! I wont go anywhere else for my manis and pedis!!!!

Went here with a friend for a mani and pedi. The girl that did my nails was nice but I was very put off by the other girls complaining about being tired, having to work, and hoping nobody else came in. I almost left after the pedi because they were arguing about who had to do our nails. Also, there was no hand massage with the mani. Ive never had one without. Our nails look nice but based on other reviews I am wondering how long they will last. I will not be returning and will find a place that is professional and actually wants to do our nails.
