The Dr did so good with my 7 year old. And was so good with her. The assistant was also so kind and caring with my daughter. This is our preferred dentist now.

In my past dental experience, I could share all the horror stories that I have experienced. But until I saw Dr.Eduardo Gonzalez, he was my guardian angel, dentist style. I know it sounds cheesy but he was really great. He took his time, made sure I was okay throughout the whole experience. I was getting my 8 top teeth out. You can imagine the anxiety I was having before I went in. He explained everything before the procedure and during just to keep me informed. If I needed to take a break in the middle of it, he was okay with that. He was very patient. I really do like him and will continue to go to ONLY him.

The doctors were informative and put me at ease with the upcoming procedures.

I took my 6 year old in today for exam and cleaning and she also had a cavity filled. The dr and staff were very nice and made her experience easy. She’s been going to the dentist since she’s had teeth Dr Gonzalez(I think that’s his name) was awesome with her she no longer has a fear of going to the dentist!

They were very good with my 5 year old daughter who was nervous to get her cavity looked at. Although it’s not setting most would consider kid friendly, they had everything they needed to make her feel secure and happy with her very first BIG GIRL check up. I take my other 2 boys next month and am confident it will go well!

They were great. I dislike going to the dentist. They were so calming and patience with me. They were out of my network but my first experience was so good I didn’t even mind paying extra for them being out of network because you can’t put a price tag on comfort.

Missed my daughters first appointment called to reschedule and was told they dropped my daughter due to 5 missed appointments. This is the first time she had missed one. I was told they fixed this issue 2 years ago. They didn’t even update my phone number in the system for my reminder call as I gave them 2 years ago. Disappointed I was lied to.

My daughters had an appointment scheduled there. That morning of the appointment they had runny noses and coughs so I called to reschedule. Nobody answered & nobody called back. 1. My kids were sick and that can happen literally overnight (as mine did) 2. Due to Covid they would have been turned away anyhow. They had runny noses and an awful cough. Today (4 days later) after me calling AGAIN to get their appointments rescheduled I finally got a call back just to be told because my daughters missed their 1st appointment theyll need to find a new dentist even though 1. I called. 2. They were sick and I had even called off work because of their illness 3. Due to Covid they would have been turned away and made to reschedule anyhow (and I live an hour from this location). So,I definitely do NOT recommend this place. Policies have exceptions and kids being sick especially during Covid should be an exception and its not the publics fault when the business isnt answering their phones or returning messages in a timely fashion as they say they are.

I appreciated that I was able to be seen because of the pandemic and have my issue taken care of. Staff was friendly as always which takes some of the anxiety out of the visit. I have referred your clinic to my friends with a neighbor of mine using your services.

Had an exam and cleaning on 11/25/19. Returned on 12/09/19 to have a couple fillings done. My first experience with Secure dental here in Peoria. Office staff, Office Mgr, Assistants and Doctors that I came in contact with were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Lets face it, we just dont like going to the dentist! However, they really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Strongly recommend.

I’ve now seen a few different dentists at the East Peoria and Peoria office. I had nuclear medicine and radiation treatments years ago which has lead to excessive dry mouth and lots of decay. I want to do everything possible to keep my teeth which has meant several root canals. I have been seeing Dr. Liu the last several visits and he is beyond amazing! He is the first dentist who somehow gave me the injections of numbing agent with almost zero pain! He’s also able to get the job done quickly with pretty much no discomfort. I used to have terrible anxiety about going to the dentist, but I have yet another appt in the morning with Dr. Liu for a possible root canal and I have zero anxiety. I know I’m in the best hands and he makes each procedure as comfortable as possible. There is an assistant at this office who is absolutely amazing, as well. I wish I could remember her name! She goes above and beyond to make the patient feel at ease. Highly recommend Secure Dental!

This office made an almost fatal mistake and then discharged me because I missed an appointment. I missed my appointment to get an abcess tooth pulled because I WAS HOSPITALIZED FROM THE INFECTED TOOTH SPREADING TO BLOOD. Then when I tried to reschedule to get the tooth pulled 3 days later when I got out they told me because that was the 2nd appointment I missed I had to find a new dentist. The first appointment I missed because the secretary wrote the wrong date on the appt. card and I had the card to prove it. Now I have yet to find another dentist due to coronavirus and am on all types of antibiotics with severe pain. They discontinued care because after filling a tooth she said it might get better or might get worse...it became an abcess. Then discontinued care after their mistake landed me in intensive care.

The people here at Secure Dental treated me very nice, they were really great. They listen to what I needed and the Dentist took the time to explain what I needed and what my options were and how they worked, the nurse took necessary precautions to my needs and I felt taken care of. They were will to work with me and help me in any way they could. You guys are great!! Thank you. I will be continuing to go there for my follow ups and would recommend anyone to go here!!

I have been going to secure dental for many years and never had issues until the past few times I had my kids there. They had originally told me that the crowns were all approved by insurance so I scheduled an appointment for same day crowns. When I arrived I was told that they no longer do same day crowns on Monday so I rescheduled for a Friday. At which they prepped the teeth for the crowns. I then left and went home to wait when they call me and tell me that not all of the crowns were approved so I now have to pay almost $500. I went in to pay and they told me it was a no charge. Then a few days later I get a call saying that I still owe that and they will bill me and I can make payments. This is not right and I will not go back!

The staff are warm, inviting and professional as to make your visit as pleasurable as possible. The Dr. Li was extremely personable and professional. My husband was completely at ease and found the visit to be his best experience ever at a dentist. So glad we were referred!

I love Dr. Jamil! She is so sweet and patient! My two boys love her and I was so afraid they’d be scared but she made it a very comfortable time for them! And the assistants are really nice as well and they played a big role in making my boys feel happy! Would recommend this place to anyone!!

Walking in Secure Dental I was greeted by the two front desk ladies I believe names are Misty and Vanessa. I had to wait but these girls made my wait feel like little to nothing! Very professional young ladies. Janelle is an excellent hygienist! I never leave unsatisfied. Not only does she do a fine job at cleaning my teeth she educates me as well. This place is awful. No hygienist so they wont polish teeth but still charge u full amount. We were told by one dr that my kid had a cavity. We scheduled visit to have it filled. Different dr said theres no cavity. Then we were just told in order to having cleanings, my kids need to have their braces wire removed before going in. Needless to say the orthodontist said theyve never heard such a thing.

Jesse, Gwen and Dr. Lee were AMAZING!! if I had any recommendations it would be to get headphones in there.. the sound of my teeth being pulled is probably worse than what it actually feels

Fast professional and friendly. Been going for 4 years now, and like any other place Ive had a few issues. But all in all the staff is quick efficient and professional. They communicate clearly and make sure your questions are answered.

The office is clean and run very smoothly. The hygienist was kind and efficient because I had two of my girls with me. The dentist was the best of all. He gave me great news and even though it was the end of the day he answered all my questions.

Dental hygienist was great. They wanted to pull out wisdom teeth that were still impacted with just local anesthesia which sounds terrible. Person on phone was rude to me when I tried to reschedule am appointment. I found a new dentist I like better.

Daughter went in for Cleaning & Dr. Jamil & her Dental Tech Celene were so nice and informative, Dr. Jamil was like you have a couple of cavities and your wisdom teeth need to be extracted. She said if you feel like it and up to it i can do it all today so you dont have to make several trips. And then referred us to an Orthodontist that excepts her insurance when we had searched for years and was unable to find any Orthodontist that would take her. She was so kind and helpful, highly recommend her.

At times it can take a while to get in, and your appointment is delayed (show up for your 10 A.M appointment at 9:45, wait until 10:30 to be called in), but other than that (which doesnt always happen), Secure Dental is great. The staff, from receptionists, to dental hygienists, to the doctors of dental surgery are all friendly and great at what they do. Best dental place in Peoria in my opinion, and the fact that they accept state insurance like Medicaid is a huge plus.

Called office 1st thing this morning to see about getting an emergency appointment..had had a toothache for 2 whole days .they got me in at noon. Got in there filled out paperwork everyone is super friendly!! Dr came in saw how much pain I was in explained that sometimes you cant pull a tooth when in that much pain because you dont always respond to the numbing medication..I had tears rolling down cheeks she asked of I would like to try numbing medication I said yes please ..a few minutes later no pain..so she said lets get it pulled..well apparently my tooth didnt want to come out so it had to be cut out..overAll great experience!! I will definitely visit them again ..so happy to not be in the horrible pain I was in..thank you!!

Brought my children in yesterday for some work. The experience i had was a good one. Dr. Iacob was friendly enough, but the star was her assistant Lucia. She was wonderful with my boys (who are 5 and 7). She was very knowledgeable about her job and extremely friendly, outgoing, and involved with both of my children. My youngest was still talking about how great she was on the drive home. I will happily return as long as Lucia is still working there.

If there were a “NO STAR” option Secure Dental is there. We had two teeth extractions with X Rays & were told the price. While in waiting room, a young lady approached us with a “NEW” price, “I’m sorry, I calculated wrongly”. THAT price was $50 HIGHER than the original. I finally was called @ 3:15 for my 2:00 Appointment. Several “assistants” performed their tasks, FINALLY after several more “moments of silence”, another young lady appeared. I assume she was the dentist, at least she was dressed for the Roll.She preformed her task, I proceeded to the front desk where I was met with ANOTHER PRICE CHECK. “I’m sorry, she forgot to include the “**€>

I have seen many dentists the past year. I have not had much success with my medical treatment. I was pleasantly surprised the friendliness of the staff at Secure Dental. My mouth is super sensitive, but Dr. Roo has worked with me any way he can.

I was in this office on 10-6-15 and i had the most wonderful experience yea its true at the dentist unreal right nope its true i was seen by Dr. Yoon and his assistant Clarice and they both were very welcome very understand and guide me through the whole process i was so nervous and all i could here was the Dr telling me to breath and i felt that the sound of him just talking to me and was very pleasant Clarice would talk when he was busy she was so wonderful made app. right there in the exam room x ray was also there i didnt have to go room to room it was very pleasant visit and i will be going back.

Just visited again for a cleaning and it is being done by the dentist that is in a hurry to get to next patient. They have no hygienist! Won’t be going there again! You lost your 5 stars! The below was from a year ago. Always a good experience. Assistant was very thorough with cleaning and was able to remove some stubborn stains from coffee, tea etc.

The dentist was fast and efficient fixing my broken crown the day after it broke. He saved what I thought wasnt save able thank God cause we all know we like our teeth..well I care about my smile and have also had alot of work done in the past. They listen to your needs and concerns and exceed them. Everyone who works there from the front desk, to the assistants to the dentist is amazing and the teamwork shows! A+++++

Doctor is great but staff has no clue what is going on at front desk, every time I come in payment is different than the time before but same procedure. Ask about your charges prior to payment to make sure they are doing this correctly.

She did great work. Only complaint is that the work was just a Band-Aid effect because its not the full work she still needs to put a cap on and it made my teeth feel funny but I have to wait for my insurance to okay it other than that my experience was great

Dr. Liu is probably the best dentist I have ever been to. He knows what hes doing and he is very skilled in taking care of fillings and crowns. He addresses my concerns, answers my never ending questions, and has even come in on his days off to help me and my dental procedures. Hands down, I am very impressed and very happy to go to Secure Dental.

We had an unpleasant experience. I took my son in to get two cavities filled. When the dentist went to numb my sons gums with the needle all he said was open wide. He didnt warn him or explain to him that it was going to hurt. Then in the middle of his fillings he tells his dental assistant to go get another girl. He goes on to explain to her she didnt set up his equipment the right way. I thought this was unprofessional and you could tell the assistant was embarrassed. He should have approached this situation privately. My son had a hard time relaxing his tongue and I understand this could be frustrating. He asked him to relax his tongue and decided to mention that his back was hurting. I thought this was unprofessional as well. When we were done they didnt give us any education on when he could eat, brush, etc. These were his first fillings and a little education would have been appreciated. I was definitely not impressed with the care we received and we will not be back.
