My daughter loved getting her fingernails and toenails painted here. It was the only shop available at the time. The people are really friendly.

I got a set of acrylics…almost every single nail came out crooked…the guy rushed through the process. It looks fat, bubbly, and uneven. I went home afterward, wiped the nail polish off, and filed them down myself. Then I added my own nail polish. The station where I sat was incredibly filthy with other people’s gross, yellowing nail particles everywhere. The guy didn’t bother to change the towel on the surface where I put my hands. He made me bleed with the tools twice and didn’t wash them afterward. I will never come to this location again. I’m utterly disappointed and so grossed out. What a trash facility.

Hannah was amazing! I had train wreck nails from a different salon and she fixed them for me! Took her time on my pedicure and was super sweet and kind! I really appreciated the effort she made to make my nails look like they used to! I am also a salon owner, so I know how difficult this business can be, GREAT JOB! Next time we are in Cedar City I will be back! Thanks Hannah!

Hannah is a great nail tech, so sweet and such a hard worker. She was managing the whole shop, answering phones, giving prices, and did an AMAZING job with my acrylic fill and gel polish all the while! Low prices and clean shop as well :) thank you, Hannah!

HiI am new to the area. Came to Rio Nails to do jell builder. First thing that concerned me is that the layer of the jell was very thick and my nails looked unnaturally blown. Then I was not happy with the shape of the nails. But these factors are the matter of like /dislike. The most terrible thing happened when I came home after this nail saloon and discovered that couple of my nails got off at the nail bed. Then I discovered that not only two but most of my nails got off. Meaning that water can easily sneak in there. And the most unpleasant moment - I could not do anything with my hand. It felt like I am braking my nails and it caused me enormous pain.Long story short - I will never go there again. Sloppy unprofessional job. Not to mention that I had to remind Ben ( the person who did my nails) to put cuticle oil. Otherwise it would not be done. Oh yes, and it’s expensive compare to other places. One star is even too good for this place. People, be aware!

Probably the worst manicure I’ve ever had. The entire process was rushed and the tech answered the phone at least 5 or 6 times in the 20 minutes it took for her to do my nails. See the photos for how bad the polish job was - it was all over my cuticles and fuzz stuck in the polish. My cuticles were jagged after and my nails were rough and catching on my sweater; I had to fix when I returned home. I would not recommend.

They only deserve one star because my nails aren’t totally trashed. However, the guy that did my nails was extremely rude and very rough. The first 3 seconds I was there he hurt my finger twice. When I told him, he ignored me. Then, I asked him to fix the shape because my nails were still sharp and he got mad at me because he didn’t understand. After this, the second he was finished with my nails, he got up and just said “you’re finished” in a super bad attitude.Last time I went there was over a year ago and I wasn’t impressed. Thought I’d give it a second chance but my mistake.

I got gel polish on my hands and the technician did a terrible job! I had to ask him to fix the nail polish several times because he was missing spots or getting it on my cuticles and at one point he told me to “calm down”!!! after he only applied it to half my nail and I very respectfully and calmly asked him to apply it to my whole nail! He didn’t trim my nails but reshaped them in a terrible way.I had to go to a different salon to fix his awful job. When I showed the person at the front desk what he did, they didn’t charge me and asked me to come back next week to fix it but I’m not taking that risk. The people that work there aren’t qualified to do such a basic job. My nails were completely botched.

Worst experience ever! We took our 16 year old daughter in and her fingers are bleeding and a nail broke within an hour. We called to ask them to be fixed and talk to a manager to complain and the said come in very rudely. We went in and they literally laughed at us and said they wouldnt do anything. We are calling the health department and the Better Business Bureau! This dump needs to be shutdown, do not go here under any circumstances. We are taking our daughter to Envy-Us to get them fixed as they said they often fix nails from there.

I got a regular manicure (basic polish, not gel) for $15, which is a reasonable price in my opinion. They give you a lotion massage on your arms and hands as well which was nice. My nails themselves turned out great, its better than I could have done at home and looks very neat, but the tech did accidentally cut my thumb while trimming my cuticles which probably could have been avoided. They go through the process pretty quickly so I would recommend this place if you dont want it to take forever. Overall it was good!

After I had a bad experience at another nail place in town, I decided to give Rios a try. Im not sure if my experience was an exception or the norm. If the range of reviews is to be trusted, it only shows that theres a lack of consistency from technician to technician, and the quality of your nails rests in the luck of the draw.My technician was skilled, efficient, and a good conversationalist.My experience turned negative when the technician repeatedly asked me for cash - even going so far as to ask me to get cash and come back to pay, and then went on to explain that if customers leave a tip on the card, the owner takes the $2 charge for paying with a card out of the tip.I felt like I was put in an awkward position as a customer. I didnt like being repeatedly petitioned for cash, and I think thats a really shady business practice. I compromised by paying for the service with a card, and returned with a cash tip for my technician.So consumer be warned, they may accept cards, but cash is definitely preferred.

They didnt pay attention to anything i wanted the lady argued with me saying she wasnt putting claws on me which she was ive been getting my nails dont for 6 years ive never had a problem with my nail salon dont go here unless u want sloppy nails and for them to aegue with what u want and over price u

I knew this salon is a bit higher priced, but the male tech did a wonderful job on my nails. Sure, as with all Korean run businesses they prefer cash (to avoid taxes) but they did accept my card. The male tech seemed to hold on to my hand a bit more than normal, but I didnt mind the extra, non-threatening attention. Will definitely be back.

Other places were booked up solid. Rio got me right in! Amber was great!

Ok so if you go here just know you’re going to get charged for every little thing that you ask for. For example I asked for acrylic nails with gel polish which they told me was going to be $45. As he was doing my nails he said that it was going to be more because I asked for a long, coffin style, matte finish so he said my total is now going to be $55. For reference just let them know what you need and what you want before they start working on your nails so you can get the accurate price. Now there is no way I am complaining about the work because overall my nails turned out to look great.

Horrible. My first and last time here, I had the gel nail polish (shellac) done and the male worker (didn’t catch his name) essentially couldn’t have cared less. He slopped on my polish in an uncaring manner, not only leaving unpolished areas on my nail but somehow leaving nail polish all around the surrounding skin. Never ever coming back again. Don’t waste your time or money, go elsewhere.

They were very friendly and professional. I enjoyed my pedicure.

Very easy to find, close freeway access, and they take walk-ins, if your looking to fill some time. I was very surprised to find out my nail-fill with gel polish came to fifty dollars! I usually tip ten to fifteen dollars, sorry for the five dollar tip, I usually get my nails done for a forty five dollars in St. George ( that’s including a ten dollar tip!)If you would like a great set of nails with a little bit higher price tag, I would recommend Rio Nails for you!

Hannah was my technician and she was very pleasant. She was a held great conversation and was very friendly. It was my first experience getting acrylics and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I also got a pedicure I absolutely love. You do have to pay with cash or Venmo but it was simple and easy.

I went to get my nails filled, the guy cut me pretty bad with the electric file when removing my previous color, I’ve had them for a week and they have already started lifting and have chipped and they surface of them is not smooth at all (this cut is after a week)

This is the neatest place and they are so kind! They go above and beyond. Stopped here to get spruced up while on a road trip with my boys. Soo fun.

Me and my sister wanted to go in for a easy gel nail manicure. She got white and I chose light blue. My color “light blue” was a musky green and you could still see my nails underneath once the lady was done. My sisters nails color was so cute but they were very unprofessional and out of practice, and what I mean by that is they got nail polish all over her cuticles and skin around the nail. My review is one star because this was nothing less than a really awful experience.

So happy I was able to get a same day appointment. Hannah was very pleasant and professional. I had a medi/pedi with gel polish on my nails. Hannah was also very helpful picking out a great gel polish that complimented the skin tone on my hands.

Very good and very fast! I went in to get a full set of hard gel removed and do a simple gel polish manicure. I went in at 130 and was out at 210. Nothing was wrong with the set I had on before I was just wanting a different look and shorter nails to to let my natural nails recover a bit. The lady was nice and even helped me pick a cute color. I love the efficiency/quickness. I paid 30. Without the removal a gel polish manicure is 20.

We got a couples pedicure; were very pleased with their service. We enjoyed a foot and calf massage while sitting in their massage chairs and a hot wrap lotion treatment all included in the pedicure. Our heels, nails and cuticles look great and our feet feel alive. We would happily return here and would recommend them to friends.

Came on Saturday, December 12th at 5:20pm. The open sign was in the window but no one was there and the door was locked. Seems to be a common thing in this industry because this is the second time this has happened.

Such a great place. We visited Cedar for Thanksgiving and I took my daughter and her cousin. They were so accommodating and friendly. They let the girls watch a movie, gave them popcorn and did an amazing job. Needless to say it was a great first time experience for the girls. Thanks Rio.

Rio nails has honestly has changed my life forever. They are so friendly & take good care of me! I get almond shaped acrylics & they last me so long! Lana Del Rey vibes all day. Would 10/10 recommend! They do prefer that you pay cash so be mindful of that! ✨

So I went to get gel nails and the lady doing mine kept on blowing her nose in front of me, not washing her hands after whipping her nose and then she continued to do my nails. My nails also look like my 5 year old niece could have done them.

The service was great, the technician was very nice, but the flies were too much. I couldnt fully relax, it was a little uncomfortable. The doors were opened but it just made my experience a little bothersome. A fly keeps landing on my face every 10 secs...its enough to make me write this review while Im still here 😕

Absolutely the best place in town for a pedicure! Their friendliness and attention to detail makes the experience enjoyable! I highly recommend the delux pedicure. You get a hot towel treatment on your legs. Hands down the most relaxing pedicure that Ive ever had!

Got tip shamed. 😟Typically I over-tip but this time I didnt realize I didnt have enough cash (this establishment prefers cash due to the processing fees for cards) to do so this time around, but I still managed to tip 15 percent. As I was leaving, I heard the woman loudly claiming what a cheapskate I was. Such a shame too because I really loved the way they do acrylics.

Extremely rude and untrained staff. I went in with a friend and we had both asked for gel polish with designs on our nails. They didn’t listen to my friend on the design of her choice and refused to do any design on mine, insisting they couldn’t do it with gel nail polish because “that’s not how it works” and “only one color on one nail.” Having been told that I asked for 3 different colors to be alternated between each of my nails and instead they just layered each color on top. They didn’t cut my nails evenly or even file them so I had been snagging the rough edges on everything before I could get home and file them myself. The polish itself was extremely messy and went all over my nails so bad to where one of them got infected... As I was getting my nails done the nail tech proceeded to tell me that I had “bear hands” and “man hands” several times, and then she insisted I come back the next day to wax my eyebrows because “I clearly needed them done.” Needless to say I didn’t go back, I will not go back, and I will not recommend anyone to go there.

On all occasions except for one, Ive been exceptionally pleased with my experience at Rio. Definitely my favorite nail salon in Cedar City. The workers are friendly, and very talented at what they do. Upon arrival, customers are offered free sift drinks and Wi-Fi. Theres usually not too long of a wait, and they are very accommodating. Great pedicures and manicures for some of the lowest prices in town.

I got my nails done today and it was awful. I felt like he was rushing and when he was done some nails were longer they were not smooth and lopsided. I do not recommend this place go some where else nd i asked if I can get them a little shorter Nd she was like you said you wanted them long Nd I was like yeah but they dont look,good so fix them... I wont be going back there because I feel that some of the staff are not properly trained in nails. A man did my nails. I was in for a fill. On one of my middle fingers he filed to far down into my natural nail. When I saw what was done I physically felt ill and panicked. I let him continue to finish my nails and he took out a chunk of my skin on the side of my thumb. Multiple times he wasnt careful and burned me with the electric file. When my nails were all the way done they looked horrible and had huge dips on every nail. I should have refused to pay but Im just too nice and paid 45 dollars for a fill. Im a licensed cosmotologist so what I saw that day was disturbing to me. Ive never been to a place that caused me so much fear due to a lack of caring and training. Ive never been to any other ppl there besides the guy but Ill never go back.

I am here from out of town so I read the mostly positive reviews and thought I would give this place a try. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and unfortunately was disappointed with both. My polish chipped off my toes in a just a few days, which was disappointing given the price and the fact that pedicures generally last a few weeks. During my manicure the tech cut me while doing my cuticles and didnt do anything about it just asked me to wash my hands when she was done with the other nails. She then didnt sanitized the equipment before or after she cut me and my finger ended up getting infected. On top of all that the gel polish was dull. I wouldnt recommend this place despite the other favorable reviews.

While the workers all seemed very nice and willing to help, they all seemed distracted and didn’t pay attention to what they were doing. When I was finished, the paint wasn’t evenly applied and two of my nails hadn’t been filed properly. It was a good manicure for a cheaper salon but for $30 it wasn’t worth it.

I go here regularly. Hanna & Bihn are always friendly and provide great service! I often have people ask where i get my nails done. I am happy to share Rio Nails!

The service wast bad, but on my pedicure my toes nails werent completely covered with polish and they started chipping within two days. which I have never experience after a pedicure and I find that sad because I love the color.

I usually always go here for my acrylics but yesterday i had a very bad experience. i picked out the color i wanted and she did the wrong color. i mentioned it to her and she continued to argue with me. she gave me a dirty look as i walked out the door noticing i didn’t tip her. i went to a different salon to get them fixed and they were way worse than i thought. they were crooked, different lengths, sharp, and not shaped right. i will not be returning.

First time I went here I really liked it. However I had to change my review because of the last two times I went. My acrylic nails were a mess. None of them were the same shape or thickness and the paint was uneven. My friends also had troubles, their nails weren’t at all what they wanted and they had to go to a different place to get them fixed.

My sister and I went in to get Gel polish nails for a wedding and we both had to go back the next day to get 3nails each redone. Then the next day 4 different nails peeled off while doing normal day activities such as braiding my hair or washing dishes. I get my nails done a lot and The only other time this has happened is when the business put too much or the wrong kind of thinner in their polish so they can get more bang for their buck. This was not worth my time or money.

I loved my experience with Rio. I took my mom and sisters for a girls day and we enjoyed the staff and my nails. They also have great massage chairs.

Don’t go here! I have never given a bad review but I felt like this was necessary so other people know what type of place they are walking into. My visit to Rio Nails ended up being really uncomfortable and unpleasant. Manicurists were unfriendly and unprofessional. Once my nails were finished, the manicurist told me how much I owed. When I pulled out my card she was disappointed and asked if I had cash instead. I told her I didn’t, only enough cash to tip. She shook her head and by the look of her rude facial expression I was given, she was obviously upset by that. By that time it was too late to take back the tip I had already given her. No thank you or sign of gratitude, just rudeness. Long story short I ended up walking to the Chevron to get cash to pay. I wasn’t the only person in there that was given a hard time for not having cash either. My nails came out fine, but have definitely had better experiences at other places in town. I needed a place to fix my nails ASAP and this was the only place with openings soon. Not going back there again.

Did not enjoy my experience here. not an inviting place at all and the employees werent very nice. i got gel nails and they did not look very professional and clean when they were finished. also, one of my nails came right off like a sticker within a day of getting them on. wouldnt recommend.

I went today for a mani with gel polish and a pedi. Paid for deluxe. They had 2 young girls, maybe high school. The work was of that of someone who just started training. If Im going to pay professional prices, I want professional work. Extremely disappointed.

They do a good job on my nails but make sure you have cash when you go in. They accept cards, but are trying to avoid service charges. They made us leave to go to an ATM to get cash out to pay.
