I heard great things and decided to try them out as a second opinion on a dental problem i was having. Dr. Gary Gwilt did a great job of explaining things to me (including using technology and props so I better understood what he was saying). He was able to determine why I was having the issue and did some minor work the same day as my consultation. Excellent dentist! The office staff was also outstanding- very friendly and up front with pricing. I’m very happy I decided to try them out. I have my next appointment scheduled with them!

After many years of not going to the dentist, due to very bad past experiences with other dental facilities, I had a dental emergency that needed to be handled right away. Dr. Gary and the girls took care of my 36 year old daughter who was in a lot of pain and definitely scared of dentists. They took very good care of her and I thought if I did that then I also need to see them for my dental needs. Their humor and bedside manor made me laugh. Great visit. The time flew by and we were out of there it seemed very quickly. Dr. Gary removed 3 teeth in less than 5 minutes. What a great experience for our family! My daughters tooth had a deep cavity and the Dr was able to diagnose and fix it same day and kept her so calm and relaxed. I called at 4:30pm on Friday and they got me in for Monday morning for a consultation. 1 hours later my filling was fixed right, because the previous wasnt done well in the first place. Dr. Gwilt was absolutely amazing!!! My mom had work done in the past and took me to him to get my wisdom teeth done. This is my first major dental work I’ve had and he kept ensuring that I was in great hands and would be just fine. It was quick and easy and I was as comfortable as I could have been. His receptionist put on some calming sounds to try to relieve some anxiety for me before my procedure. His professional is far from none and he still has a sense of humor with you to try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. He went into detail the steps he would take to complete my procedure for me to better understand what I would be getting done.Aside from him his assistant and receptionists are super caring and kind and wanted me to have the best experience I could while I was in there.Again I want to just say thank you to him and his staff for their professionalism and the way they made me feeling during my appointment. It was great experience and I will definitely go back to him in the future!

I met Dr. Gwilt at another dental office. I remembered his direct and caring approach so when I knew that I had some serious work to be done in my mouth I searched for him. I was greeted by, Jennifer, the most upbeat, friendly receptionist. My xrays were taken professionally and sensitively by the assistant. I didnt expect to have work done today but Dr. Gwilt dove right in and took care of my root canal that was infected. He has a state of the art office and so are his procedures. Where do I start. My wife has refused to go to a Dentist for the last 3 years. My wife, Peggy HATES dentist. Dr. Gary came highly recommended. We moved to Arizona last April 2020. 2nd VISIT - Jan 2018 (Downgraded to 1 Star 2 weeks after 1st visit.). Heres why: Called to have dentist examine and remove corn stuck between temporary crown & tooth causing pain & pressure. Also, cement in a temporary crown. Mu appointment was scheduled so that I would see dentist first to remove the lodged corn, look at my missing crown in hope to install a duplicate or make something temporarily, then, make any necessary modifications to my treatment plan. BUT, IT DID NOT GO THAT WAY. I left in tears because the dentist refused to put me in the chair to remove the corn & arrive at a temporary fix to conceal the missing crown and adjacent partially missing crown, unless I paid 50% down of estimated $5,700+ towards my Treatment Plan which was incomplete. I would have gladly paid out of pocket to remove the corn & cement some temporaries, but, the financial manager insisted on payment before she would put me in the chair. This young lady was very pushy to have me apply for credit right then & there. She even told me how she thought my teeth should look instead of listening to how I want my teeth to look. This office appeared to be focused are on getting paid before they even will pull out a piece of corn that I spent 15 days trying to remove on my own & waited all his time to have the dentist do this simple procedure. My tongue is bloody raw from rubbing the area as well as the area where the crowns are broken & missing. But, this young lady said that she would not do anything to help me unless I paid $2,500+, today. I was upset, leaving in tears, & telling her that I could not pay the $2,500+ today just to have the corn debris removed and ask the dentist for a short term temporary fix for my missing crown(s) because I have interviews this week & a public speaking engagement, not to mention having a photo shoot next week. I am speaking with a lisp with my front teeth missing & broken. When I told her that I guess I need to go to a different dentist to handle my emergency and go buy a snap-on smile, she replied with, Oh, no. I hate see youspend extra money for emergency dental work when I can put you in the chair for the dentist to see after you pay the down payment. I told her that the treatment plan was incomplete and completely omitted a severely needed surgical molar removal & and to address another molar pain I was having.I repeatedly told her that the pain issues needed to be addressed first which were covered by my insurance and I needed to get my finances in order before committing to spending nearly $6K. I also said that my husband & I should perhaps take our dental needs elsewhere, since this is their mode of practice in an emergency situation by not allowing the dentist to help resolve my emergency pain issues. I called my insurance to change dentists when I got into my car. Read my 1st visit review below because I Ill admit that I was snookered They hook you with their kindness, but, will not help relieve your pain & discomfort of any type unless you sign up for their over-priced treatment plan. Get this!! As I previously stated, the treatment plan completely omitted the serious tooth & bone decay going on in my molars that keep getting infected which had caused me to be hospitalized 3 times last year for a total of 3weeks. The dentist and I clearly discussed this & would give this a priority,yet, this critical work & surgery needed was totally omitted from my treatment plan!1st VISIT - Dec. 2017 (Rated 5 Stars).Dentist & staff are fantastic!! Dentist is high tech & very knowledgeable on the latest & old school techniques. Looking forward to her helping my husband & I get our teeth health and looking beautiful. The difference between this office vs. Peoria Dental Center is night & day. Dentist takes her time listening to your desires, needs, & pocketbook.

I am not one who often writes reviews, however this experience was pleasant and I have decided that I should write a post, I just had a sinus lift and an implant placed in December, also had an extraction and bone graft also in December, never felt any of it, no pain at all, very knowledgeable staff and Dr. Botar is one of the best at what she does, I am looking forward to have one more implant placed and have the two new crowns finished.Very much appreciated, thank you Doc

The perfect dental office! Scheduling is quick, service is professional, the place is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and most of all PAINLESS! Dr. Botar is very skilled and has a superior educational background. You can tell she loved what she does and that should give every patient peace of mind. Walked in feeling so much pain on my upper right tooth/gum I felt comfortable the min I walked in. I got called back and the assistant was super nice and caring. Dr came in looked at my tooth/gum and immediatly knew it was an infection she explained to me and gave me a visual of what was going on in my mouth. I got numbed and didnt feel a thing :) the office manager came in checked on me such a sweet lady. Also my wife came to visit me and office manager walked her back to see me and kept my wife company as I was getting worked on. I had a NO Pain visit to Dr. Botar. My father took me in for a filling on my molar tooth. I was able to have the tooth filled with NO INJECTIONS or Pain! It was super cool. Dr. B used the laser and I felt nothing..It does make a funny popcorn sound in your ears and you have to wear funky glasses. Im glad my parents took me here. It so much better than going to the kiddie dentist where they gas you and give you injections.....Dr. Botar is my new favorite dentist!

This was the best dental experience Ive ever had and I have seen many dentists over the YEARS. Im a new patient as of this year. Dr. Botar removed an implant (done by another periodontists) that was not secure. It was completly painless! I walked out smiling 😁I also want to give a big thanks to the office staff. They are truly amazing!

I thought Dr. Botar and her staff was great. I have not been very good about maintaining my teeth. As a disabled veteran, my dental care has been through the VA Clinic - which is mediocre at best. I need to have some major restorative work on several teeth - particularly in the front. Dr. Botars staff was very kind and polite. The doctor was very patient and knowledgeable. She spoke clearly and used laymans terms to help me understand the work I needed. She used a baking soda scrub - which made my teeth feel like they had been sandblasted! I believe the doctor and staff speak several different languages too!The practice manager is the treatment coordinator and was very polite. She explained the procedures the doctor required at the costs. She also reviewed all of the consents and made the necessary follow up appointments. The doctor will be using the laser on my restorations to limit cracks in my teeth and the need for injections.I felt so comfortable with the doctor that I brought my 13 yr. old son in for a cleaning. He has only ever been to a pediatric dental office - so he was nervous. He enjoyed the cleaning and the staff was very nice and sweet with him. The front office coordinator was polite and kind - helping my son to understand what he needed to do at the office. (I encourage independence and wanted him to see the forms and paperwork) He needs a cavity filled and will be going back because they have a NO Injection cavity treatment using the new laser.Overall, the office is professional and polished. I would recommend them highly.

Ive been scared of the dentist since I was little. I dont go unless something hurts or is falling out of my mouth. I let Dr. Botar clean my teeth despite being very scared. It was painless - I especially loved the baking soda polish. It was like a mini sand blast and my teeth felt squeaky clean. Usually I feel like a gorilla has their hands in my mouth, but Dr. Botar is very smooth and careful. She doesnt make me feel like Im going to choke or be uncomfortable. I recommend going - even if you are a scared-y cat like me. Shes the No pain - NO fear dentist!

I am very happy with the service, but mostly with the fact that I came in for a cleaning and I discovered that I have a disease and I might lose my bottom teeth, and Ive been to other dentists before but they never told me hey! You have this problem and I think you should be aware of it! so Dr. Botar saved my teeth!
