I showed the nail tech the design and she said she could do it but she left my nail art terrible. After I told her I didn’t like it she still charged me $50. Very unprofessional.

I had not treated myself in a while,but today was the day! I the deluxe pedicure. It was so good! I went to sleep. The massage chairs were the bomb! The Service was A+. My person that completed my foot pedicure made sure the water was the perfect temperature, served me cold bottled water and gave me a pillow. I listened to jazz Christian music and napped so well that I felt refreshed. I received a nail overlay so I have a fresh professional appearance because I selected French manicure for the color. I should have done my before my business trip, but today was the day. I know my bill will be high but I needed this today. I will follow up with if my nails lasted.

I brought my daughter (4) for her first professional nail painting today and they were so sweet to her! I am bad about getting my manicures/pedicures on a regular basis and they did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. I was very happy with the way my nails looked and the price was great for all the services provided for my daughter and I. Will definitely be going back!

Annie and her crew at Star Nails are very friendly. I get a manicure for a very good price of $12. I only go to Annie. She does an awesome job each time. She pays close attention to my cuticles. They always offer me cold water or soda pop. The atmosphere is soothing with calming music playing in the background. You do have a choice to watch TV they do have it on with no volume just closed captions. I feel very welcome because they remember my name and what we talked about on my last vist.

When I first started going to star nails they had a group of technicians that did quality work, now they have all left and the ones that are there now need to leave because they take no pride in doing quality work. Botched up jobs and costly. Ladies beware you will not get what you pay for. This place need to go out of business.

Very unprofessional!!! The worst!!! I got there at 8 before it opened !!! She had an appointment i told them i need a pedicure and full set they sat me down i got pedicure she was done at 11 am. Then told me she could not do my full set will not be returning to the nail salon very unprofessional will find someone that can communicate to do my nails

I give anyone a 2nd try. But I will never darken this biz doorway again. $70 for color change on my toes and full set for my daughter. Had 9 am appt. Several other customers comes in get service and leave. After sitting there 2 hours and still not seen by Tina not offered a bottle of water nothing. And when Tina sat another customer down and made them welcome I was too through. And the work was terrible. Lumpy and not finished. NOT Again

I wish I could give 0. Spent 2 hours here, and over $100. Services included shellac overlay and a pedicure! My fingernails were awful once they finished! I tired to contain myself by just paying and leaving, but I had to go back in and let the manager see for herself the quality of work she allows to walk out the door! Shame on her! I didn’t want my money back nor did I want her to fix them as it was a lesson learned! I will never branch out from my regular nail spot! I did today because of a 45 minute wait, but I surely regret I did. I would NEVER patronize here again and/or recommenced anyone either unless you have time and money to waste! AWFUL!

I went in for a shellac manicure, while it looked lovely, it chipped off in 4 days and now my nails look horrible. The place was also dirty. I saw dust everywhere and nothing looked clean to me. I was told to go back and have them redo my nails, but I dont want them doing my nails again. Dont waste your money here.

I used to be a customer of theirs for a while until they started lying and overcharging.i started going else where for a year, but the other day i decided to try them again. The owner was standing up filing my acrylic off not paying attention she cut the hell out of my finger it bled pretty badly. Did she apologize? no!! instead she started laughing and talking in another language to her employees. She proceeded to put a product on my hand to stop the bleeding i asked her what it was and if she cleaned her tool. She did not respond. I then Tried ti leave she said she would charge me 25 instead of 30 did she honer that? no!!! Now i am at the Doctor with an infection. I am not happy i am going to the better business bureau about this, I not the only person that has gotten bad service, an infection, or over charged. Please !!!! AVOID STAR NAILS! THEY ARE DANGEROUS!

The absolutely worst. Ive given this place so many chances. Today was the last chance. I come in this morning and there was no wait so as usual my daughter and I sit down to get our nails done ($3 kid polish and a powder full set) .. the lady started filing and buffing my nails. A lady walks in with no appointment and asks the wait time. They told her 5 minutes. They finished buffing my nails and told me that my nail tech doesnt do powder nails. She then asked me to wait 20 minutes. She walked away from me and my daughter and they both started working on the white lady who had just walked in (pedi and mani). 40 minutes go by so I ask to pay for my daughters nails so I could leave. They asked me to wait 10 more minutes. I waited 15 more minutes and they still werent finished. I felt like I was beyond patient, Im actually a regular there AND I was willing to pay for my half services although it should have been free for the unnecessary inconvenience. I paid for my 6 year old daughters rushed paint job and informed them that we wont be returning. That is ridiculous. Last time the tech I avoided today over-drilled my pinky nail to where it bled and she had to put liquid bandaid on it. After all of that, she overcharged me and then apologized but didnt correct the payment. First time I didnt tip. Stay clear from this place. They need more educated/experienced techs.

I took my wife to this nail salon for her birthday to have her nails done and her eyebrows done. When she got back to show me the nails I was immediately disappointed they were crooked there was glue still hanging off of them and I can see the disappointment in my wifes face. They had also left stray hairs around her eyebrows they were immediately noticeable. When I return to the establishment with her to ask them to correct the imperfections they wanted to just file them straight instead of straightening the nail probably by replacing it I dont really know the process. I also explained that I didnt want the same person to do it because she had cut her with the Dremel tool. I was told she was the only one who could fix it so at this point I decided to ask for a refund for the service that they had done incorrectly I was told there was nobody there who can issue a refund and to wait and return tomorrow her birthday is today and Im not going to make her go through her entire birthday party with crooked nails so we are now at Thy nail salon where they have done a wonderful job of taking care of us

Great service and staff but the lady boss refused to turn on the heat. Its currently 39° degrees and I mentioned how cold I was. This is ridiculous. I wont be back until its warmer.

Tried this place for the first time today. What a great experience! Got a pedi with hot stones, paraffin, the works for $35, and a mani with paraffin & massage of arms, neck, and shoulders for only $21! Great work for a budget friendly price. The staff was friendly without being too chatty. I will definitely be coming back!

Got a fancy mani pedi. They have so many options so you can be super cost effective, super luxurious, or somewhere in the middle. LOVED it. My nails look great, so paid attention to my favorite color, and they talk to you and are super friendly. I will definitely be going back

They use a higher-end product than most in this area. My acrylic nails and pedicures never crack or chip. Staff is nice.

The ladies are very nice at this nail salon. The nail tech I use to go to is no longer there so I switched to another Pearland salon that I LOVE! Couldn’t get an appointment for the time I needed where I normally go so out of desperation I went back to Star Nails. Wish I hadn’t! Mediocre work...extremely amateur polish job with polish left on my skin. Skip this place and try the newer nail spas past the Pearland Town Center! Some even guarantee the work for 10 days(Milano). Star Nails needs more skilled techs.

Used to come here years ago, and recently returned. Theyre just rude and dont do a good job. Yesterday I had a mani pedi and both look terrible. They didnt put enough coats on and you can see the nail bed underneath. Plus, they didnt go up to the edges. The lady doing my mani did a little neck massage and asked if I wanted 10 mins. I agreed and could tell immediately that she was put out by that, so I told her to do 5 instead. They were talking and laughing, and you cant help but wonder what theyre saying. Not very friendly and didnt seem to care about what theyre doing. I should have spoken up about the number of coats, but when theyre not that friendly, sometimes the drama is just not with it.

They are doing what theyre supposed to and everyone is always friendly.

Horrible place! I literally left the nail salon unhappy and the lady who did my nails KNEW I left unhappy. Didnt say anything but next time speak up and tell me you dont like it because now its too late I already did your nails not a care given! In addition to that, I had told her the color was too light and she kept painting my nails. Never will I go back. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Nice variety of colors and good service

I go here quite a bit and they are always very fast and very nice! I always have one doing my mani and one doing my pedi...unless they are super busy. Not only do you get a chair massage, they give you a REAL live back, neck, and shoulder massage with their hands and it is awesome! On top of that, they open an 10am on Sundays whereas many others dont open til around 11am or 12 noon...and they are right down the street from me. Prices are reasonable for the excellent service they provide, so I dont mind paying. Heading there shortly! Lol!

My pedicure was the bomb dot com but went back for nails and they were horrible. I had to guide the tech telling her what needs to be done next. Nails would have been rough and crooked without it. It was so bad, I had to ask her to dust the dust off my hand. She just let it build up and sit there. Maybe she was a newbie...but she ruined it for me.

I have gotten my eyebrows done by the owner, and they turned out okay. However, the technician that sits at the last table refused to redo a nail job, after returning that same day. The manager came by and did not push the issue. The polish they use is not quality, and you basically get what you pay for. I will NOT be going back. Poor customer service, low quality materials.
