I never write reviews but with this experience I had too. I went to Shadow Creek Dental and saw Dr. Mehdizadchs, i was told i had 12 cavities (Sent me into total shock and panic and confusion) and needed 12 Crowns! I was told i had DRY MOUTH which is caused by Diabetes or possible side effects of medication. He told me i needed to go to my doctor to check if i was diabetic because he was almost sure it was caused by something medical. I was in a panic until i was able to see my doctor who told me i was not diabetic. Made appointment with another dentist to get 2nd opinion who requested my x rays to be faxed to them. I called Shadow Creek Dental to request X rays and was told i had to pay $26!! My insurance company ALREADY paid them for the x rays and i have NEVER been charged to fax x rays to another Dr/Dentist!!! I contacted Cigna and was told i shouldnt have to pay for MY x rays that they already paid for!!! I went to another dentist to get 2nd opinion and was told i had 3 TINY Cavities and needed 1 CROWN vs 12 CAVITIES and 12 CROWNS . He looked in my mouth over and over again and looked at x rays and the paperwork from Dr Mehdizadchs and stated he DID NOT see where i needed 12 crowns. Im in total shock and disappointment!!!

Extremely dissatisfied with how I was treated with concerns I had leaving my 3 year old alone while being examined. Definitely not ok to leave a toddler alone in a room to get examined/work done. Policy or not I was a parent with a concern and they treated me very poorly because of my concerns. The receptionist told dental assistant to release me as a patient because I wasn’t willing to leave my 3 year old alone with strangers! My son is 3 years old not 18? So I canceled appointment and my future appointment I had with my other child and both ladies talking to me could care less about my concerns and just released me. BIG RED FLAG!!!!

Great dentistry. They have great customer service, low wait time and make you feel comfortable. I have gone to various dentists before and this time it was different, they went into detail on everything going on with my teeth, they explained everything and how to prevent it. After this quick, in depth dentist visit I feel like a hygienist. They truly care about their patients. I would highly recommend!!

Amy is so awesome with my daughter. She is very patient and great. Dr. M is great with her, especially during her transition from Dr. Ellison. I love this dental practice because everyone is like family. They make her feel comfortable and she loves coming to the dentist. Who would have thought?

I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was friendly and patient. Amy my orthodontist explained the process in detail and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will definitely be referring others!

So happy I chose Shadow Creek Ranch Dental best choice ever! The entire staff, receptionist, dental assistants, SERIOUSLY this is the best dentistry in Pearland. I love the way they break down cost for procedures, everything is so orangized. Dr. M did my fillings and he kept checking with me to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. He is very patient and explains every procedure clearly. Dr. Amy did my cleaning and she was extremely thorough with technique and after care details and left my teeth super clean. I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist now. After 26 years of no dental care they got me on the right track ❤🥰

First time coming for a specialist treatment. The place was very nice and clean. The staff was nice. Especially the dental technician (the lady who took my xrays-name started with a S) She was so very nice, kind, and attentive and answered all my questions. The DR himself was very effective, quick, and too the point.He did a excellent job on my procedure. The only downfall I would say is the communication. Let your patient know when, what, and why you will be stepping out of the room for whatever reason. Do not just leave them hanging in a trendelenburg position and dont say anything. The only thing I didnt like. But, I would definitely still highly reccomend this place.

Best Dental Appointment Ever!!!Everyone was very friendly! Ashley, the hygienist and Dr. M clearer explained everything. Ashley did my x-rays and she was alot of fun. I hadnt had an examination in years and no one made me feel remorseful about it. They were very professional and informed me about dental care and how I can have great dental health into the future. I highly recommend anyone to seek dental care with them!

My daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted,she was very nervous. Shadow Creek was very compassionate to (her) every concern, and needs, and explained to us the pre/post surgery process.Crystal was amazing at answering my questions and concerns and she was extremely professional as well as compassionate. The entire staff was wonderful!I highly recommend!

Front office staff is very prompt and friendly.Amy is by far the best dental hygienist I’ve ever encountered. Very friendly and knowledgeable, plus she always provides me with essential dental goodies. :-)Dr. M is awesome as well, he ensured I knew and understood any procedures being performed, very patient.My kids also go here, the children staff is just as awesome!

Great experience 😍 Everyone is very nice and they make the kids feel nice and relaxed. They explain everything to them so they know exactly what they are doing so they wont be scared. They get to watch a movie while they are working on them and everyone is always nice and making sure you always get to have a good experience at the doctors . Love the doctors here. We have been coming for years and I wouldnt change anything about them. Always a joy to see them.

Very kid friendly and well organized. Completely different experience from our previous dentist. My son was nervous but the staff and Dr Ellison did a great job of explaining each portion of the exam and keepibg him calm. Hes excited alrewdy for his 6month checkup in August.

We have been going to Dr. Ellison now for 4 years, and we have no regrets about it. He is so patient, funny & nurturing to his young patients. He is beyond informative & fantastic! Not to mention, his staff is sweet & personable with all the families. I highly recommend him. You wont find a better child dentist anywhere in Pearland.

Office staff and dental assistants are friendly but average. Any the hygienist was exceptional. Dr. P has good bedside manner but is visibly nervous when asked substantial questions. While he may provide good care, I’m choosing another dental home because I (ER NP for 10 years) don’t respect another member of an healthcare organization that will not perform a service on a child if the parent is in the room. He adamantly refused service when my child has a visible 4mm in diameter cavity with pain. That’s like me not treating a child for a medical condition (sutures) if the parent is in the room. While he was nice about it, the refusal is ridiculous, absurd and not a good practice of medicine.

Dr. M is amazing. We decided to leave our old office & try shadow creek. The staff is awesome very helpful. Dr. M answered all our questions & was very insightful. Explained everything to where we could understand.

Ive been attending this dentistry for over 5 years and I have been very happy with the service. When you open the door you are greeted immediately by name. The staff has always been friendly and they care about your teeth and gums. While in the chair, you can enjoy movies in a relaxed atmosphere. A wonderful experience that will keep you coming back for years.

Today was my first visit to Shadow Creek Ranch Dental Specialist and I was very happy with the entire visit. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice. I have personally had bad dental work done in the past and I honestly came in not knowing what to expect but the ladies at the front desk all the way back to the dentist were super cool, laid back and very gentle with me! I absolutely love Shadow Creek Ranch Dental, the level of care and concern for me and my mouth was nothing short of excellence! I definitely recommend them for your dental work.

My son and I always receive star treatment upon visiting. This is at least 30 minutes from my residence and I dont mind driving there because of how well we are treated. The wait there isnt that bad but once youre seen, its pretty swift. I will continue to drive out of my way just to see the friendly staff!=)

My boys have been coming to Dr. Ellison since they were a year and 1/2 old, they are 12 years old now. He is a great dentist for kids and my boys would rather come to see him a dentist rather than going to see their pediatric Dr. He is very easy Doctor to talk to and he explains everything. I will always recommend him to anyone, wont take my boys to any other dentist.

I have loved this dental office ever since I was stationed in the Houston Area two years ago. Everyone is always so nice and my son (who is 5 years old now) always gets excited to go to the dentist. This is significant because he had a terrible experience with his last dentist and was pretty scared after that time. This tells me everything I need to know about these amazing people! Excellent, Efficient, informative service. Each step taken is fully explained before and/or while taken. Great, professional nice staff! Very clean office!

Orthodontist only sees patients on Thursdays....and brackets fall off easily (extra charge after 3 fall off) The time they book vs the time they tell you are two different times ..CONSTANTLY. ..and no matter how many times you inform them of the time inconsistencies it continues. Not allowed to schedule for future appointments which means you will NOT be seen every month because of the lack of openings. (Which hinders patient care in my eyes) though you are still charged monthly $$$.

I highly recommend this dentist office, my children have been coming here for years and weve never had a bad experience. The staff and Dr. Ellison are always courteous and explain everything in detail.

Its a really nice and modern dental office. Friendly staff. However, I waited more than 2 and a half hours before they could finally do my cleaning. My wait time in the waiting room was about 15 min.But once treatment plan was discussed, I had already been there for two hours. I just decided to reschedule for another day. Note: new patient here. But oh my gosh, I was tired by the time they were ready to start doing any work on me.

If you want to suffer come here...They don’t send scripts to the pharmacy when they’re supposed to we called over and over and they never call back!They neglected to mention some post surgery tips, which caused complications afterwards.

Not professional support staff. I went there a couple of years ago, and had good service and billing seemed OK, covered with insurance. A year later I got a call from their billing department, asking for more payment, since they claimed the insurance had rejected a portion of the service. I received no such denial from the insurance company or any such explanation of benefits. Recently I booked again to have some work done, confirmed that they and the doctor were part of my insurance plan (booked a month in advance). Then the day before the appointment, got a call saying it would be a cash only appointment, since the selected dentist doctor was not part of the insurance coverage. All in all, the support staff are not professional and provide misleading or misinformed information. Now I have to book with another provider and likely another month wait.

The service is received from the Dental Hygenist Amy, was exceptional. She was very thorough in explaing the process of the deep cleaning proces. aslo, she was very engaging and i felt like she genuinely was concerned about my comfortablity . I highly recommend the dentist office.
