I stopped by yesterday to have tire maintenance performed on my car. After coming in earlier in the day, I was asked to return later in the afternoon — as they were super-busy and I was a walk-in. Upon returning they performed the necessary maintenance and rather apologetically comped the service (because they couldnt take me in earlier). Needless to say I was surprised by this unexpected gesture - theyve certainly acquired a customer for life.

HiAs always when I have service at Direct Tire I am greeted with warmth and efficiency. Steve and Ron especially have taken excellent care of my 2011 Nissan Maxima for the past 5 years and my Honda Accord prior to that. I love the video they take of the car explaining to a novice like me about car parts and the status of everything. Great mechanical repair service response on my Audi A4 red warning light issue as handled by store manager Steve Shaop at the Peabody location. Steve courteously and throughly explained the low oil pressure warning issue to me. My car oil pressure issues was diagnosed and repaired properly in a timely, quality manner at a fair price. Great job, Thanks!Now, this red warning light issue occurred on a Sunday, while car was in use for a weekend hiking excursion in southern New Hampshire. While there is never a good time for this serious car problem, a rainy Sunday afternoon was an especially bad time. Since COVID I am surprised they have any business at all as it is impossible to have a conversation with a customer service agent in person.I dropped in over a month ago, like I have been doing for over a decade, as its on my commute, to make an apt for an oil change and tire rotation, I was hurried off the premises and told to go home and call as they refuse to make appointments in person. So I went home annoyed and didnt call. The following week I got a flat, Since my tires were purchased at Direct Tire and under warranty I wanted to drop off the damaged one so they diagnose, fix it and advise to if it needs to be replaced or not etc etc. Couldnt do that either because they are closed on Saturdays now! Ok great, So I went on the Direct Tire site to chat with a robot who only has so many cues in its communication box so I ended up having to make an apt online for the end of the day on the Monday, because apparently you cant even drop a tire off without a freaking appointment. Decided I might as well get my oil changed while I am there, Not looking forward to waiting in the very unappealing trailer in the parking lot they have for their guests. I would like to have a face to face actual conversation with a real person but they are all preserved behind the glass. If my tires werent purchased there already, I would never go back.

I will definitely come here again. After doing some research, this place had competitive prices but great reviews, and Im so happy I listened to him. About an hour after I dropped off my car I received a text with a link to a video of the technician showing my car and explaining what he was dont. I was very impressed! My tires were done in less than 3 hours, it was so easy to drop it off and pick it up and I could not have been happier with the entire process. I definitely recommend them if you need new tires and want excellent service.

I have being doing business with Direct Tire for going on 20 years. Even though I live on NH seacoast area I still choose DT because they have always been great and VERY accommodating. I could go to one of 3 local chain stores near me but I drive 45 minutes to DT because they have been so awesome. Their prices are competitive but their customer service is truly the reason I continue and go out of my way to do business with them. Highly recommend Direct Tire!

Too slow. Seasonal tire change over of tires took 1:45 min - more than 25 min per wheel. I think you should review your process to keep it to no more than 90 min. 60 min would. be ideal.Also tires were set 5 lb above manufacture recommended with no explanation as to why. Checking the door jab for correct pressure is easy to do.

I was in need of a tire quick. They had the tire I needed and said it might be an hour and a half. The place I tried before them said 4 to 5 hours so I said thats fine. 45 mins later they called me and said I was all set. They were extremely helpful and polite. And the price was very reasonable. They have gained a customer for my tire needs.

Both times I’ve been here the service has been great! Being a female and going to car repair shops isn’t always easy but I feel confident and comfortable going to Direct Tire in Peabody. Drop off and pick up we’re both contactless and easy. Steve answered all of my many questions and was great about communicating with me about my car. As always i love the videos they send which helps me understand what’s going on with my car. He reviewed service being done. Came to take my vehicle and assured me that the technician is wearing gloves and disinfect my vehicle. Work was completed. Ron provided a coupon for my oil change. Excellent service!

I have always gone to NTB (now Mavis, with the spray paint sign...), but a friend of mine recommended Direct Tire so I decided to try them out. Steve was fast, professional, and didnt give me the usual sorry, theres damage too close to the side wall excuse to sell me a new tire like NTB always did to me. He cleaned my rim, mounted the tire back on, and I was in and out in 15 minutes. I will be going back for sure!

Last week had three tires, oil change and engine check for upcoming winter, tires and other work were affordable and after initial check by mechanic told they would have to order tires, all went well by friday car was fully repaired and a new way to communicate info about your car was used, they sent me on-line a quality video of my car on the lift and they explained work being done and what will be needed in the future, first time I saw a video used this way it was informative and gave useful ideas, was also fun to see my car on the lift being filmed

I was really impressed with the service here. They were honest and straightforward about repairs for my car. I had them check the brakes and the tires. They also did a complete check of the front and rear end and suspension. In the end I only needed an oil change but I was glad that they checked everything and gave me quotes for what I might need in the near future. Another awesome touch was the video they sent me of their inspection showing me exactly what they had told me and explaining it fully. I would highly recommend them.

As usual customer service was great. Called with a dead battery and Steve said bring it down and well fit you in. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. Three and a half years ago we moved 45 minutes away and we still bring our cars here. These folks are awesome! I had a tire losing air and noticed a big screw stuck in it. I called and they said come right in. They were very busy so I left my car and they said theyd call when it was done. Ive had bad experiences other places and was half expecting to be told the tire was not fixable and Id need a new one, and better to replace two at a time, etc. I went by the next morning and they said my car is done. The price? $25. No BS, no upselling, no pressure to replace tires needlessly. Not only that, the guy working the phones was super nice, kind, helpful and just made everything painless and easy. They are not the closest tire shop to me, but they are definitely the best. Ill be going here exclusively from now on and recommending others do the same - we need to support our high-performing local businesses now more than ever - and these guys really deserve the support.

Very pleasant when I dropped in for information and provided options. Once the appointment was made they were ready for me and completed the job in a timely fashion. No high pressure sales. Overall great experience. They were recommended by friends.

The service was great as usual. I came in for a rotation and balance check and my vehicle was in the bay within 5 minutes. The service took about 30 minutes and I was on my way. I find that Steve and his team work to make every encounter positive and I have no problem recommending them highly.

Nice people and they do a good job, only reason I cant give 5 stars is availability. Whenever I have called its always been at least a week before I can schedule an appointment. If only they could either hire more people or expand the number of bays to get work done sooner.

I brought my car in for an inspection of 2 Michelin tires ( of 4 that I had purchased in 2017). I had booked an appointment a few weeks prior. Service manager greeted me promptly. They did a thorough inspection and cleaned all tires and rims to remove anything that might have contributed to the slow leaks I had been experiencing. Waiting room was comfortable enough ( though the TV was not working- or perhaps it had not been turned on?). Free coffee and water. After about an hour, I left. Service work was no charge, due to warranty DT provides.

The staff at Direct Tire were all very friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable leaving my car there to get new tires, oil change and an alignment. I like the video that they send of your vehicle during the inspection process and showing the tires that will be going onto your vehicle. I will be using their service again in the future

The entire team is so kind. I went thinking I needed a new tire and they were able to patch it contrary to other possibly less honest companies. They even changed out my key FOB battery all during a very busy Saturday. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I used to be in the auto repair trade back in the 1990s. In the 1990s I used to work at a well-known auto repair facility and dealership. I know the difference between honest service advisors at the desk as well as honest and reliable mechanics. I have changed my own oil and rotated my own tires and done my own brakes for my entire life. Due to health issues and injuries I am no longer able to crawl under the car. 4 years ago I started having my truck serviced at Direct Tire in Peabody. It is the only place around that I trust my hard-earned truck to be serviced at. Steve is the manager over there and he runs an unbelievable operation and has an absolutely talented crew.Not only do you get what youre paying for but you get more than what you are paying for.Barry is the owner and runs a few of these branches. He cares so much about his customers that he even gives out his personal number to be contacted if there are any concerns.I have only called Barry with nothing but compliments.My entire family and most of my neighbors now also get service at Direct Tire in Peabody. I guarantee you will also not be disappointed.

One of my tires had picked up a nail and I was having to put air in it every 2-3 days. Their Saturday schedule was fully booked but they suggested I arrive early and leave the car so they could squeeze it in. I arrived 15 minutes before opening. It was a very cold and windy morning. They unlocked the front door early and invited me to come in to be warm. Then while I was waiting for my ride ... they took my car in and repaired the tire in under 20 minutes ... at no charge. Customer service doesn’t get any better than that.

The people here were very friendly and accommodating. When a lot of people wouldn’t swap out bias ply tires out for radials they said it was not a problem. Fast service too!

Was worried about the extent of the repair due to having to drop the gas tank to change the fuel pump. Job was done in a timely manner and everything was done professionally. Would not hesitate to have any repairs done at Direct Tire in Peabody.

Fairly good with scheduling appointments and they have the ability to send a video of the work that needs to be done, before they get into it. Heres the place I go for tires, oil changes, some car repairs. The service department explains whats to be performed and the workmanship is documented.Ive bought tires for 4 different cars there and the willingness to support the consumer long after the sale is a major reason why.A good reflection on Direct Tire is that there is low turnover among employees. The front desk has had the same 3 main employees for years.I would recommend this automotive store to anyone.

As soon as I walked in and was welcomed by Steve S. I knew my car was in good hands. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the thorough video diagnostic soon after I had dropped off the car and was able to prioritize and make the best decisions on the recommended repairs after talking to my advisor. I am satisfied with the work done, the cost-saving adjustments and appreciated the advice for taking care of my newly installed brake pads. They make good use of communication technology, and save the customer time. But they do get busy. I recommend scheduling an appointment rather then trying to walk in anytime after mid-morning. Or just call ahead. I plan to make this shop a permanent home for my car service needs.

These guys are fantastic! Our car battery died, and they got us in right away & had the battery replaced within 1 hour. They told us about one other thing to keep an eye on (alternator), but didnt try to get us to fix that today too. They were very fairly priced, so efficient, and SO friendly!! Ron was great!! We will definitely be going back to them for future repairs! Highly recommend!!

It was my first time at Direct Tire. They were very courteous and stuck with their initial price quote despite discovering that my car took 6.5 quarts of oil instead of 5. They even provided me with a video of my car getting the service and checking on my brakes, tires, and struts. They also did not try to sell me anything I didn’t need! Great experience; would go back and also recommend them to friends.

Awesome, honest, and very helpful people in my experience! I brought my car in for what I thought was a slow leak in the tire (and they fit me in last minute even though they would be closing soon). It turns out it was a hairline crack in the wheel itself, which I would unfortunately need a welder to fix. They were very friendly, didnt charge me for inspecting the tire/wheel (!!), and offered a recommendation for a local place that does welding. Ill definitely be back for any future issues!

Always first rate service with a smile! I travel a bit out of my way because they pushed me to buy a tire care program which has been used often. I seem to hit pot holes and run over nails and screws which they fix for free or a small fee to replace tires. They have my gratitude and loyalty!

Found this place through online search, great experience so adding to the reviews! Two corroded wheel rims had me wiring up tires every 3-4 days. Afraid I had ruined my tires but this shop cleaned off corrosion, reminded and balanced....without trying to sell me new tires. Quick service, they even took pictures of the before/after rims. Ill be back when it is time to buy tires!!! Thanks for the honesty!

Great and timely servce

I wont be going anywhere else ever again. I was easily expecting the staff to tell me that my flat was a total loss and that I should probably buy four new tires because mismatched tires are a real problem for AWD vehicles. Instead, they jumped right in and repaired the tire for less than $50 and that was it! When the tires on this car DO need replacing, Im coming back here...and also replacing these damn run flats with regular tires.

The guys in this shop are amazing. Every single person I spoke to was friendly and they explained everything in detail. I had no questions on what I was paying for like I usually do when I have my car serviced because they made sure I knew what they were doing and why. Also the video was awesome and very helpful and much appreciated!
