I bought a 1979 Porsche 928 that turned out to be more of a project than I thought. I started buying parts and quickly got in over my head. The guys at Autobahn Performance came to my rescue. They diagnosed my issues, offered suggestions, and even offered to do the work in stages so that I could enjoy the car between projects. They did such a great job, I took my 1988 Mustang GT to them for some very necessary strut tower welding and replacement.

Wow ! Attention to detail.First shop I found in the North shore area that work as a solid team. Mike and Mark in the front and the boys in the back,work together just like the race teams we watch and follow on TV and our various other devices !Ive owned my car for 4 years now and have had some complications with it pretty much the whole time, knowing that it just wasnt performing to its designed capabilities. Ive taken my car to various shops in the past (wont mention any names) they just fell short on having the ability to get the job done right.At Autobahn,they use their ears and knowledge ! They take their time to listen to what it is your translating to them about what the problems youre having with your car and then do their research to give you what your ultimately therefore. Satisfaction and Pure Adrenaline when you get your car back from Autobahn !My car is finally running the way it should have, from day 1.MAC JONES !!!

Typical shop where they just do not listen to the customer and look for a reason to blame the customer for their failures. I really dont want to write up the entire experience as it is too long and boring.Suffice is to say that they did not listen to what I asked them to do and that just caused me to spend more money than I should have, and sitting around waiting for 3 hours while they fixed things when I showed up to pick up my vehicle which was ready.You have lost a customer.PS. The make it right feature on the website is useless if the guy who failed is the one who calls the customer to apologize and still looks for a reason its the customers fault.

These guys are great! I stopped in to have a tire plugged. They found the nail and repaired the tire quickly and efficiently. I was on my way in no time. I would highly recommend them. The shop is clean and the technicians are very professional. The manager was great—very friendly!

Came in for the first time in March. The folks at Autobahn are honest and friendly. They can beat dealers on both service pricing, and level of customer service. I will bring my Audi here for as long as I have it!While they do have a large waiting room/lounge, they do not have loaner vehicles. If you leave your car for the day or overnight, just plan ahead for a ride home!

I decided to put a custom exhaust on my Audi S5 and they did such a fabulous job at such a decent price that I decided I was done giving money to the dealership for service. I had a small issue with a leak after my last service at Autobahn and they handled it like pros, picked the car up at my house, replaced the faulty hose, no questions asked, no attempt to charge me extra, all within a day. Absolutely standup guys. I love my car, and I say without question or hesitation that I trust Autobahn with it.

Got my gear oil changed, done while I waited, fair price, Rick called me back to go over a couple of things while car was up, these guys know your Porsche, I will be going back to do a couple of other things on my 30yr old classic, dealt with Mike and Rick, knowledgeable guys that want to get your car up to par.

Very impressed with the service, both front desk and the technicians. They diagnosed a complex problem making my 911 misfire and also fixed an exhaust valve. My car is back to prime condition. Very reasonable costs as well.

Once the manufacturers warranty is up, the cars come here for service, nowhere else. Even during the pandemic the guys had excellent measures in place for everyones protection. If you want your car to last a long time and run well, bring it to Rick and his crew, you wont be disappointed!

Poor Priscilla (1988 Porsche Carrera Targa) had to be towed on her way to Autobahn Performance. Due to light use, some seals had degraded, and there was a pinhole leak in a fuel line (potential for disaster). Autobahn Performance is the only place I would take this car. They were kind enough to check her out before I purchased her and they came heartily recommended by some Porsche maniacs I knew. Their work is tip notch which is usually what happens when people are passionate about their work. The office shows their attention to detail,,everything is neat, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. All the staff are pleasant, and easy to work with. They keep you up to date on what is happening with you car, and provide a running tally of the cost. It is not just a job for these people, its a passion!

I wanted to switch from the dealership to a local mechanic and Autobahn was one of the few places that serviced VWs. Unfortunately, my first experience with them was disappointing. After fixing my breaks, they then notified me that there was an issue with my wheel bolt. They wanted to replace the whole part for around $490. I left and went back to the dealership and they were able to fix it for $160. I cant confirm or deny that it was Autobahns negligence with the wheel bolt, however I feel they wanted the easy way out in fixing and charge me more money. They either didnt have the knowledge or lack of tools to simply fix the problem. I will not be returning to Autobahn. The dealership seemed to have more knowledge and they were actually cheaper than a local service.

Replaced the OEM down pipe on my 17 year old GTI 20th with an upgrade recommended by Mike. Along with the added performance it sounds so good. Thanks so much. I am very pleased and highly recommend Autobahn especially if you have a special car that you want to keep forever.

Not many shops want to work on a 1966 VW dune buggy. Its a unique car built from a 1966 VW beetle. Not much of this buggy is the same as it was originally, its a kit car, hand built along time ago.AP took on the challenge and has done an excellent job bringing it back to life. They do an excellent job and stand behind their work 100%. I am a repeat customer and have referred them to my friends with antique cars. Great work AP!

I have always done most of the repairs and maintenance on my Porsche and Audi’s myself. As I am starting to get older (as are the cars!) I find there are some jobs I just can’t tackle anymore. I have been dealing with Autobahn Performance for many years for parts and advice. They recently took in my 1980 Porsche 924T for shifter issues that I knew would require dropping the transaxle. They were in constant touch with me concerning estimates, parts availability and progress. I feel that they took AT LEAST as much care as if I had done it myself! Although the 924T may not be the most beloved Porsche in the world, they treated it as if it was. It was returned to me not only shifting like new, but ready for the next concours d’ elegance!

Whenever I need Audi expertise, beyond the normal maintenance, this is where I go. They know their stuff. Staff is pleasant, courteous and helpful. Ive been going to Autobahn since I purchased my used Audi (~8yrs) and theyve never tried to oversell. In fact on more than one occasion, theyve actively helped me drive my bill down.

Went here to get new tires put on my Toyota Prius. I went out on a limb -- and was astounded at how great they were. First of all, they gave me $50 off my first visit, and it only ended up costing my like $100 to get my tires put on. They also rotated my tires, and vacuumed and washed my entire car. Ill be going back there for sure, and they were so nice.

Timing worked out just right to have brake pads replaced, oil changed and front grille swapped out all in time to have emissions tested for tag renewal. Autobahn Performance is a wonderful find (recommended to me by my neighbor who is also a big fan). Mike, at the front desk, keeps you updated on the progress of the work being done. Twice now they have found additional issues with my Mini and have been able to fix them without extra labor charges because they were working on something else in the general area. They also check in a week or so after work has been completed to make sure youre satisfied with the cars performance. Their hours are great. You can drop off and pick up after hours and there is never a wait to get an appointment.They are the BEST.

Good job on all the snacks in the lounge, oil change and the vacuum + wash. However, 1 hr 30 min for an oil is too long and $91 shocking. Wondered why the price wasn’t given when I asked!The staff is the best though. Such good service - wish the price wasnt so high because if it was a straight, simple oil change at $28-30, Ive go there in a heart beat!

This was my first time at Autobahn. They were pleasant and professional and patiently answered all my questions. I felt they were very thorough. Time will tell if I am correct in my first time assessment but as of right now I plan to return and skip the dealership.

Their free and complete all points checkup every time your car is seen has been very helpful in pointing out potential problems. These guys are knowledgeable and an APR performance certified shop. Just had them complete a stage 1 engine tune and transmission tune. Nearly 100 hp gained on my 2014 S4. cant wait to come back for my Stage 2 upgrade.

They offer a $50. voucher for first time customers along with an extensive safety check of the vehicle along with a printed summary of services for future recommendations that the car will need. The facility is very clean and they offer a customers lounge, complete with snacks and beverages. I plan to have all my cars service needs performed by Autobahn Performance Inc in the future.

Called and asked for a tuned and if I could be fitted in on same day. They got me right in an explained all the features and what to expect. Also told me some additional maintenance tips that would prolong the engine. Highly recommend will answer any and all questions.

Ive been to Autobahn several times now - and every time the work is done perfectly, and within expectations. I highly recommend having everything from routine oil changes to more complicated custom work done here. My Audi is now out of warranty, and I will not take it anywhere else. Ill be in soon for an oil change and winter tire change over.

After years of owning nothing but Japanese family sedans, I finally took a risk with a used boosted German car. I always wanted a sport sedan with tuning potential so I finally got one of my own not knowing the previous owner was likely already modifying it.I had a severe coolant leak and took the car to Autobahn performance where they identified that I had an aftermarket intercooler that wasnt installed properly by the previous owner of the vehicle. If I took the car to a dealership, they would have likely have me take the intercooler back to stock, but the gurus of Autobahn Performance reassured me that they can make it work. This was music to my ears because they told me it was an APR intercooler, which likely means the car may have had an APR tune in the past that may still be tied to the VIN.I chose Autobahn Performance because they were Audi specialist who support the tuning crowd and are APR and ABT approved re sellers. I know I can go to them with any tuning questions for my vehicle and count on them to perform any modifications or labor intensive maintenance that I may not be able to reliably perform myself. I look forward to a long working relationship with them, to help me keep my vehicle running at its best.

Took my MK4 GTI there to install new suspension. They were super helpful in ensuring the work was done correctly, and that other related issues were addressed at the same time. They helped recommend a balance between doing the right work because the car was apart, and work that could wait until another day. Not super pushy, reasonably priced, and great people.

I have an Audi A6, 2007 and have been taking it to them for everything since the warranty expired, which has been a while. They do excellent work, they get it done when they say they will and the prices are very reasonable compared to anyone else. I like the fact that they only do work on Audi and VW. They really are experts. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. They keep it running like the day it left the showroom.

Overall very good experience over 6 years. Use them to service my Audi A6 and Porsche 911, decent prices, much lower than the dealer charged!! Seem to really know German cars, nice guys too. Would recommend them to anyone.

Alternator on my 1974 BMW 2002tii failed. After searching everywhere for replacement which could not be found Autobahn Performance had the old alternator rebuilt. Runs better than ever! Thanks guys/

I drive 2005 BMW e46 Coupe (325Ci) and gave them a call to schedule a balance and alignment since the car had some vibration and steering was off center. Dropped off the car the next day and in a few hours they called and informed me that the rear wishbone was bent and my tires where out of round so balancing and alignment would possible but really a waste since those problems would need to be fixed first. There was NO PRESSURE whats so ever from either Mike (service advisor) or technician; at this time Mike quoted me what the cost would be and suggested what tires I could you use all within a budget. Im sure a lot of you out there weather are a BMW owner or another German auto it can be darn right expensive and this was the most amazing service I received since owning BMWs. If I went to anyone else Im sure they would of balanced and aligned the car and after would mention hey by the way your suspension is damagedDo yourself a favor you paid good money for your car you want it to drive the way its supposed to and want folks that WANT to earn your business, come The autobahn (say it with a German accent)Thanks you guys ! Appreciate all the help and advice !!Oh yeah they have a full blown kitchen (except oven) with drinks snacks and a rain forest room with a turtle so if you are busy and have to bring the kids Im sure they wont be bored.

As a new customer, I inquired about a custom installation of MK7.5 Facelift tail lights and 20K scheduled maintenance for my APR Stage 2+ 2017 VW Golf R. The light install was complicated because it required coding. Autobahn Performance was equal to the task! From their first response to the completion of the job, I was impressed by their courtesy, competence, timeliness and professionalism. I usually work on my cars and shy away from most garages. There are times when the job is too much of a pain or personal circumstances are such I need to bring my car to a garage.I had a 2001 allroad which the waste gate hose sprung a leak at the right turbo. I initially took it to a local dealer who did everything they possible could to drive me out of their service department. This included lies about doing the job. I was told by the service advisor they were working on it. After 5 days I need to get something out of my glove box and found they never started the work. So I pulled the car out of their shop.I asked around to find a reputable Audi repair shop and based on recommendations I went to Autobahn. They did a great job, no hassles, fair price and finished the job in a day. Now any time I need something done that I cant do my Audis go Autobahn.
