My Truck broke down outside of Payson and I had it towed to Payson Tire Pros and Automotive. The water pump had failed majestically and needed to be replaced. They ended up replacing the Water Pump, Thermostat, Upper and Lower Hoses, Fan Clutch, Fan, and the Fan Shroud. It did take them 2 and 1/2 weeks to get it fixed but I understand that shops can be busy. My biggest complaint though is that the upper radiator hose didnt get tightened to the water pump all the way and now it is leaking coolant. If they cant do a simple job of tightening a radiator hose, I can not recommend this shop.

They performed a flat repair in a quick and efficient manner. Since I had purchased the tires from them, there was no charge. This is a very customer focused business.

I bought tires here for the first time. The tires they recommended road good and look great. Expect to leave your vehicle and not wait, because itll take quite a while before they get to it.

My family and I were headed to a cabin from Phoenix. 6 miles from Payson our front tire was losing air fast. We managed to make it to one tire shop who informed us that they couldnt help us. I called Payson Tires and they were so gracious. The minute we pulled up they swapped out our tire and took great care of us. The mechanics were all friendly and you can really tell they take pride in their work. It is a pleasant and professional atmosphere. I would recommend this place to everyone in need of great service and a friendly smile.

Super honest and good quality work at a great price. I was expecting to spend $100 or more because I’m used to going to a mechanic for an oil change and being sold on other things. They fit me in during a busy time for them. On my way through for my wife and my honeymoon. They told me they were going to check a couple extra things for us and I was expecting to pay extra because of it. Walked out only paying $60 for all the work they did. Brian was very honest and made sure we were taken care of. Although I live in the valley I will be back.

Very easy going and not pushy. Mechanic was honest that one of the recommended repairs could wait until I got home to Utah and could use my own mechanic. They took my vehicle into a bay immediately both times I showed up for my scheduled appointment and took less time than the expectation they had set. I would definately return if I was in the area again and needed work done.

Headed from Mesa to Heber on a Friday afternoon and had a tire issue so rolled in there about 40 minutes before they were going to close. The owner climbed underneath our truck and looked at the tires,, asked where we were headed and when we said Heber he said I would not drive there without changing these tires. Then noticed that one of our flatbed trailer tires had a gouge out of it so six tires and about an hour later we were on our way. They were friendly, fast, the owner rallied the team, told them they were going to have to stay a little bit later and they got the job done. After we left we realized we had left our metal water bottle there and also would have liked to have kept the best tire as a spare. Called back Monday morning and they had the water bottle and no problem with the spare. I highly recommend these guys.

Couple years ago I needed tires and I just happen to see the advertisement and went in they were very helpful the tires were a very good price theyve been really good to me Ive had a couple of leaks in the tires they replaced them no problem they get me in and get me out recently had my AC charged they said it would probably be about a two to three-hour process I was only there about an hour and 20 minutes theyre all professional theyre really considerate and courteous the price was not bad at all that. Come to find out that their prices are very good and something goes wrong they get me in when I need to get in I referred him to a lot of people theyre very knowledgeable about vehicles they tell you how it is I was kind of scared at first because being a woman and most places take advantage of us but they didnt they told me exactly what they were doing what needed to be done they were awesome they definitely have my business and I live in Roosevelt Lake and I drive all the way to Payson for their service

Recently noticed something leaking underneath the car. Took it to a shop in Payson that refused to do anything as oil was everywhere under the hood and car. Get it steam cleaned they said. And knowing the leak was bad Called Payson Tire Pros. They were nice and professional and through! They found a brake issue I wasnt aware of,one that could of caused brake failure! And when I think of having drove it at 65 mph,had the brakes failed,I my kids or others would have been injured or worse! Thank you so much for catching that issue! Thank you for doing a all point inspection catching me and my car up on routine maintenance. I feel better knowing the leaks are sealed up. Runs better... Thanks for being here guys! This place has been so good to me! Ive been here twice now. They were there in an emergency repair for me. And the quality of the work is outstanding plus reasonably priced. And so organized too! Every single person I had contact with was very friendly and patient with me. I was shown exactly what the issues were and they answered and explained all my questions. Called Payson tire due to a flat tire on our rental motor home driving back from a long vacation up in the white mountains back home to the Valley. We take 3 cars and a motorhome here for service on a regular basis. They have done tires, oil changes, alignments, fixed electrical issues, rotated tires, brakes, and lots of other things. I can rely on them to be honest and they are courteous and professional...and patient with teenage driver issues 😊. They have a nice waiting area and lots of parking. I definitely recommend them.

Had a residential tractor rear tire that needed a tube. The tire had been sitting flat for several years and was hard as a rock. They said they’d give it a try but couldn’t guarantee the tube might get pinched on the inside due to cracks in the sidewall. I gave the green light to give it a try after being estimated around $100 depending on the difficulty dealing with an old, hard tire. Dropped it off at closing time Wednesday without an appointment, they had it finished later in the day Thursday and only charged me $60.I’ll be back and use them again. Very satisfied.

How incredibly humbling to call Brian Bowman at Payson tire pros and automotive And tell him that after your husband spent 31 days in the ICU with severe bilateral covered pneumonia that you need tires to go to an advanced pulmonologist In Phoenix the next day but your tires have metal showing. I told him I was desperate and if he could please put tires on my vehicle the same day. He quoted me a price a price that was reduced to help me due to knowing that we have not had any work in our business for four months. My wife and I left the west vally of az in a rv we bought to visit our kids and grand kids in mass the rv turned out to be a money pit, but after putting thousands into it the last thing was to get new tires, all 6. We thought we were on our way when we got thick in the az mountains the rv started really acting badly. We could only do 30 mph up hill and down was scaring the hell out of my wife. We got to payson and found out the front right tire went flat. We spent the next 5 hours calling good Sams road side service and the tire place that we got the tires done with really no help. We were both frustrated and distressed till we got into uch with payson tire pro. Brian the owner and eric were two of the best guys I have met in a long time . Genuinely concerned about us. They found out that all of the air stems were loose and went above and beyond to fix our rv.. my wife and I highly recommend if you are in payson and need service give them a call. Although this business has gotten great reviews, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare!I was leaking coolant and was just passing thru Payson. I googled, mechanics and Payson Tire pros had a great reputation so decided to use them. Big mistake! Keaton tells me he was going to have his top guy diagnose my issue. Robert showed up and spent under five minutes looking at my motor and determined that I needed a water pump, thermostat, and radiator. I question them on this because my engine, although being a 1993, had never overheated. The estimate was $1000.00 and they could do it the next day.I returned at 8 AM the following day and told them not to do the radiator since it only had a pinhole leak and would cost almost $500 to fix. Robert told me that if I didnt get it fixed that the increased pressure of fixing the water pump would make the hole bigger. I was skeptical, but being a woman and in a strange town, I decided to have the work done!I was there until 7:30 PM. Blake took it for a test drive and told me everything was excellent... Even though he had broken a thermostat when installing it, Brian assured me it was road worthy.The next day was Saturday and I drove about 25 miles when I noticed in my side view mirror that I had white steam coming from the exhaust! I pulled over immediately and let it cool down. I checked the radiator and it was empty! I called the 24 hour service line but nobody returned my call and I was stranded for the weekend.Monday they sent a tow truck and determined that the hose they were supposed to replace and that they charged me for was my old hose and the clamp wasnt tight and all of the coolant had leaked out!I told them I wanted a new radiator and they refused saying nothing was wrong with the new one I had put on!A day or so later I had a pressure test done on the radiator and it failed! The timing cover that they took off to replace the water pump was leaking because they broke the gasket seal and didnt replace it!I returned yet again to Payson tire pros and they also did a pressure test and it failed. Brian returned all is my money, thankfully.It is one month later and 300 miles away and I was still having leaking issues. Turns out it was my heater core from the very beginning and not my radiator or water pump. Thats why it never over heated. Robert had cut the lines from the heater core to take care of that leak until I got it fixed however he cut two obsolete hoses that are impossible to find!As of yesterday my van is without leaks. I took it to American tires in Quartzite and they told me the radiator had a huge crack in it that Payson tires attempted to cover up by JB welding it! They also put a bunch of fittings on my transmission line that go to the radiator that were leaking as well! The water pump has never been replaced, and the thermostat has a piece of metal holding it open. Thats why my temperature gauge always showed cold. The cover on the thermostat was broken as well and they attempted to silicone it back together! The mechanic in Quartzite figured they cracked the cover when trying to close it over the thermostat and piece of metal!It has taken 36 days to get my van back on the road. I still dont know if the engine was damage by the coolant running thru it... Time will tell. This has been a nightmare and I would think twice about having any mechanical work done at Payson tire pros. Brian seems to be a stand up guy but the people he has working for him just arent qualified to have their hands in anybodys engines!

On Friday 5/7/21 I was pulling a horse trailer up hwy87 to get to Snowflake, az. Just outside Rye, az the rear tire on my trailer literally came flying off. I limped the trailer to the Payson Rodeo grounds were a nice guy directed me to Payson Tire. The gentlemen at Payson Tire took excellent care of me and my trailer - they repaired the damage, contacted my insurance company and handled my emergency very efficiently. They appear to be a VERY busy shop and I appreciate the effort they made to accommodate me in my need to get back on the rode.

Excellent and honest service. Very, very honest.

We lost braking in our 2021 32’ travel trailer so made an appointment w PTP to bring it in. Eric called us after only a short time to tell us he found the problem. The grease seals had failed on all 4 wheels and covered the drums, pads and components. Eric recommend replacing drums and backing plates, so we gave him the go ahead. When installing the new parts Eric discovered a manufacturing issue with the axels that kept the hubs from fitting properly. He checked the old hubs and found they had same issue. This is why the seals failed after less than 4k miles. The next day After hours of measuring and talking with the axel manufacturer, new axels where ordered and a runner sent to Phx to get the parts. Eric stayed late until the job was finished and we could pickup the rv and finish our 4 month trip. Eric and PTP will do what it takes to finish the job and do it right! Thanks Payson Tire Pros! Best Repair shop ever. Brian (the owner) went out of his way to help us. We were vacationing for a few days when my rear seal started leaking on my 4 inch lifted Jeep. He got me in to top off the gear box fluid so we could enjoy the day, then got me in at 10 am the next day to repair it so we could travel safely back to Tucson. His mechanic that worked on my Jeep was top notch as well. If I lived in the Payson area, they would be my go to shop for all of my vehicles.

We had a blowout on our motor home and were stranded on the side of the road. They responded and Eric did a great job getting us taken care of and back on the road. We decided to replace all tires. He had the tires ordered and in store the next morning. We took the motor home over and they did a great job installing all 6 tires and we feel we got quality for our money as well as their nationwide warranty.
