Really great service from I believe her name was Amanda. I hope I have that correct. She was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Dealt with exactly what we were needing and wasnt sales pitchy. Very much appreciated! Especially since my first experience with the representative that I had on the phone was not such a great experience and since I was a new customer and within my canceling window I was considering canceling my change over from Verizon. But this lovely person renewed my hope in this fairly new mobile division of Spectrum having good customer service. So Im sticking with them and seeing how it goes.:)

On September 3rd. I canceled the phone and internet service from twc. I went to this store and spoke with Raul and gave him back the equipment and requested the proper documentation. He told me, ββ¦ because it is a drop off, thereβs no documentationβ. I asked, βhow can I prove I returned the equipment to twc?β Same answer. So, I took a picture of the equipment and the city license of the business. Back to home, I called twc and was told that thereβs no prove I returned the equipment. I have to go back and request the documentation. What about if I receive the same answer? Any advice?
Awful service. They make you wait for nothing. Was told by customer service on the phone to return equipment to the store and get receipt. They would only take the box with no receipt that you actually left it with them. Very shady! Also, there were two people working one younger guy who seemed friendly and working hard. Unfortunately I got the older guy with no personality and was of no help.
This store is very clean and gives fast service. Staff there are very courteous. Parking is easy.Recently we came in to exchange the new cable boxes. The new cable box was not as good as the older one. There are no time or channel showing on the box which make it harder for us to record or knowing what program we are watching. Ever since we changed to the new box, it started having problem with the TV. Such as pulsing the TV, pixelation etc....Overall this store is awesome. New cable box was not good.
I had a terrible experience today. I heard about Pixel 4a5g being offered at a discounted price ($125 off the retail price) and verified the info. with a rep on the phone. I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to stop by at the store to see if I can actually see what it looks like and am ready to purchase. A clerk came out after a 5-minute wait (I was the only customer and the sign-in monitor was not working), and I asked her about that deal. She said I had to transfer the number from a different carrier when I have a current service with Spectrum already. I told her what the rep on the phone said. She did nothing and brought me over to the entrance and gave me the promotional piece of paper and asked me to read the fine print. Is not it her job to check??? The fine print did not even say that the deal is only for switching companies. It was so happened that the same clerk was praised in this forum. So I wonder if she is being selective. I was very nice and polite (as usual). Just to be fair, I dont like any people working there.

Clean store. Good location. Staff was nice and knowledgeable. Service was prompt and polite. Surprising to have that level of customer service these days. At other places, workers are bored as hell and cant even fake being interested in customers.
Came in to switch my modem because apparently Spectrum upped the internet I have but have to get but I need a new modem. Ive seen a total of 5 people working here and only two are helping people. Service is slow and when they started to call names to help people most had left because they were taking long. If you have to go here make sure you have plenty of timr because it might be a while.

HORRIBLE customer service at this location. You should definitely plan on waiting here for more time than you can even imagine simply because of the inept customer service. I waited patiently for my name to be called for nearly 20 minutes when I was the first one on the list only to have my name removed and skipped onto the next customer. When I notified the slow poke worker who had skipped and deleted me AND the poor fellow behind me, he asked if I could wait until he was done with his new customer. Idiot. Fun fact: Iβll never return to that Spectrum location and neither should you. Save your sanity AND YOUR VALUABLE TIME by heading to the Eagle Rock location. Or ANY other Spectrum location on planet earth.
Though most staff is understanding, those that push for an upgrade that will increase your monthly bill right after youve Clearly and Politely stated No, I cannot afford a higher bill payment, at all - is the reason for the not perfect rating. This review is for the company as a whole, but as they do not have a company wide review section, (which is smart) this will have to do.I signed up for spectrum as a new customer a week and a half ago and the sign up and set up were both smooth and easy. EVERY interaction to solve the numerous problems since then, has been a nightmare.They called the day after I set up my account and said they had added a week trial of Spectrum TV Essentials, which I did not ask for. Then when I called at the end of the trial to cancel it, they deactivated my internet as well. When I called to get service turned back on, it was a one hour and 26 min call in which I explained my situation to 3 different employees with a 15 - 40 min wait between, who seemed to not be sharing any sort of notes with one another. When my internet was FINALLY turned back on, I went online to pay my bill to find that my monthly payment had increased by 5.00 a month with a one time unexplained fee of 9.99.I never ever leave reviews but since I am on yet another call (this time 1 hr 42 min so far) to solve my billing problem, and am stuck on hold waiting to talk to my 4th employee even though the 3rd employee said she was going to give me a call back option... here we are.I chose Spectrum because the AT&T customer service is notoriously poor but if I have any further problems after this, Im gonna give them a try. I dont know how low the bar can be set but Im willing to look since Ive come this far.
Terrible customer experience here. An employee told us to add our name to the list and come back in 30 minutes. They had just called our name when we returned and could have easily exchanged our router but she made us start at the bottom of the list again... any reasonable employee would have just done the exchange. Consistently disappointed with Charterβs price gouging and terrible service.
Was here for a pickup. Waiting time was not that bad for Saturday noon - just 3 people ahead of me and two employees working with customers. By the time of my turn two more employees came. Davin who was helping me was very professional and nice to deal with. Thank you

Not a good experience
Im not a huge fan of cable companies, and I had Spectrum service in the past and remember it as being just adequate. But I have to give credit to Carmen in the Hastings Ranch, CA, store. I had an issue with getting internet service again so that I could attend online college courses. She took care of the issue, helped lower the initial start up costs, and had me looking forward to dealing with Spectrum in the future. So Im giving 5 stars for great customer service, and as long as the internet service is still reliable, I will continue to be happy.
Very unhappy with how spectrum clerks lie to your face shamelessly. I was told i could pick up my equipment at this location by customer service rep. Clerk said they dont have equipments on hand. When i asked manager he said i needed to call cust serv again (even though i clearly just did that!) to cancel my initial request so i could just register with them.. he said i could get equipment only if i register with them. So yeah bunch of liars!
I waited about five min only. The customer representative was very helpful and when I asked about getting a new remote he went ahead and gave me one along with directions on how to get it to connect. He was very courteous and ready to help. I was reluctant to go there because if the bad reviews. Moreover this visit was very pleasant.

Disappointed on their billing services. Im getting penalties for something their computers cant handle w payments via business check. As much as they have good people at their outlets whose hands are tied and cannot rectify or reconcile the incorrect charges. This is completely ridiculous and I see their business dropping with a lot of unhappy customers. You want a highly successful company- than it has to provide above and beyond customer care and un-empowered staff is the direct opposite to customer service! Watch and see how many will be switching back to AT&T or others in the coverage area.

I will not give any stars because the guy that works there was so rude. Not one peep out of him. He was strait faced. No hello. No nothing. He must really hate his job to be treating customers like that. This makes me never want to return back to Charter. He couldnt even look at me & say Good Morning? wow, such cold service. Glad to be done w/ those big huge receivers that I just returned. AT&T genies so much smaller & convenient.

This store is a regional center for the Pasadena/Arcadia area. There used to be separate stores for each area so wait times were minimal. The lines and wait times are very long at this new location. Expect 20+ people in line on Saturdays. Also, be aware that there is Time Warner compatible equipment and Charter compatible equipment. We were given the wrong remotes and had to return to get the correct ones. The staff is friendly enough but the combined offices and equipment seem to create confusion. Do your research and make an appointment if you can.

The line is to the door and one of two clerks goes on break. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, box in hand, the clerk says βI canβt give you a receipt for that.β To clarify, he means I may still be charged for the box from Spectrum after I have cancelled and returned the box. Thank you for the heads up when many of us were standing in line to return boxes. Also, what do you do at this location if not deal with spectrum customers?
I just went to return my equipment as I was moving out of the apt. The rep was so rude to asnwer my question what I was told by customer support on phone call. He answered me, no they lied to you. Does it mean Spectrum customer care lies to customers? No proper Information is provided to me. I had to go to the other spectrum franchise to get it clarified.
Worst connection ever, I feel being robbed every day. I dont know what the deal is with disconnected lines both phone and internet for hours and hours every single day, but I definitely think they just take it from one line and give to the other when it gets busy. Have called several times but they always offer to send some poor guy to work here for a couple of hours and the problem never is fixed! because the problem is not the wiring and the cable.... I was even advised to turn around and suit them for all the lost calls and lost data on my computer. Horrible horrible company

This is the worst internet service Ive ever had. My little Verizon hotspot works better than this modem and router. I have to reset this equipment 5-10 times a day until I just give up on it. Ill call customer service and be on hold for at least 10 minutes before talking to someone. Their solution is me disconnecting everything and bringing it into the store because the devices they installed at my house dont match what they have in their system. Like I have all day. I made an appointment to return this hardware and im here at the store and have been waiting for 25 minutes so far. Still 2 people ahead of me too.

I showed up at about 6:45 to the spectrum store and checked in. Waited for about 15 maybe 20 mins tops. There was a few people ahead of me but Tony (the only one working at the time) was doing a good job attending all clients in a timely manner. When he finally got to me, he was able to find my problem in the computer and gave me my new modem within minutes. What I did the night before was called spectrum told them my dilemma and they took down my notes so the spectrum store can be aware of my situation. If you want quality work, please make appointments or simply call a rep and give them your situation. Youβll be amazed how fast they can resolve your problem. I have nothing but good review on this store. Thank you Tony and spectrum Rep!

Decided to up my internet speed but needed a newer modem. Service was quick, got the modem, called Spectrum and had it connected in minutes.
I have just switched to charter from direct tv. What a mistake. Horrible customer service! Rude on the phone, I was told when I ordered, my total cost for installation, gladly I went ahead and paid it. After 2 days of services. I received a bill for 76.00 dollars. When I called to see why. I was told these are activation fees. I was told there would be no charge for it. So I called back to have this taken off my bill. They refused to do so. So I canceled service. Then they did not want to give me a full refund. By the way they told me there was a 30 day satisfaction guarantee with a full refund. After many hours on phone. I was told to return my equipment at local office. Warning STAY AWAY FROM CHARTER COMMUNICATION BAD SERVICE AND NOT TRUTHFUL AND HONEST..You can call direct and they will match any of charters offers.. I am in West Covina Ca. Just say no to charter communication. You have been warned CHARTER IS A RIP OFF!!! :(

I have never had such horrible service and help than I have with charter/spectrum. I cancelled them before and they came back saying they had improved everything and it is still just as horrible. I just even called to see if I could pay 3 days after the day they have me but they said no we will stop your service and restart it when you pay. They dont want to get my cable or Internet to ever work and they cant give me 3 days. Really uggggg cant stand them i will look for a new provider..

Lived here for four years and the service has always been bad. Ive had technicians come out several times because wed often get every third word coming through and the picture would pixelate and freeze. One technician said hed put in a work order because the signal was dropping out at the line on the poles. Its never been fixed and the signal is especially bad when when its windy because the line gets impeded by a neighbors tree. Satellite might be spotty with clouds/rain but charter is guaranteed worse where I live.

Very frequent outages or digital glitches during screening. Called to find out why I havent been able to us on demand services for last several days. Was put through to an automated system that stated there are outages in your area, would you like a call when it is resolved. Could not speak to an actual person. Should have reimbursement in place for things like this.

My computer guard company checked my system and found a router problem, I called Charter/Spectrum and spoke with a Technition who had no clue what I was talking about. I stayed on the phone to answer a survey but the tech disconected me from being able to leave a review. So as usual I called Costco cocierge and of course they resolved the problem by actualy looking on my computer. Im tired of Charters slow internet, horable phone service so Im looking for another company that may want my business.
One star is being generous. I ordered new internet from Charter at the end of October and it has only worked intermittently. They simple dont care. I pay a ridiculous amount of money for my internet and it doesnt work and they simple dont care. DO NOT go with Charter if you dont have to. Worst internet I have ever had, EVER. They recommended info with someone else or I pay double and get a business line. They said they can guarantee no problems with a business line.... HA !!!

This is a review for the physical branch of Charter in Pasadena.I went to exchange my modem here. It was pretty empty and I walked right up to the counter. The guy that assisted me was very helpful, I was able to replace the modem easily & quickly for free (as opposed to having someone come out to do it, which would have been at least $30). I also got recommendations on how to save on a new router if I needed one, which I appreciated.I was also told download speeds were going to be improving in the Altadena area up to 60 mbps by the end of September 14, which is exciting. I hear Pasadena already got the upgrade.I was also pleased to find out that the replaced modem solved my shoddy internet problem, making it possible to post this review!Overall a good experience, much better than communicating with Charter over the phone (which I did before visiting here).
