HORRIBLE customer service.Confirmed a booking on hopper and got an Uber here 30 minutes later just for him to tell us that he doesnβt have any cars.So not only did we waste money on an Uber, now we have to walk all the way back to our hotel.He said he normally calls the customer when he sees it come through if they donβt have any cars, but he didnβt do that for us.
Ive been renting cars for a very long time now from multiple companies now from Hawaii to Barbados. But NEVER have I been so mistreated. I reserved a full size car through Costco. And when I got there Rafael didnt look to happy to be there. I get it, it was hot outside and he was cleaning out previous rentals. When I came in he took my license and credit card and advised me that he would be giving me a SUV cause they didnt have any sedans, claimed it was an upgrade but I told Raphael I would be driving a long distance and needed sedan which seemed to irritate him. He then told me I can take the SUV and go to a different Avis location and see if they would trade me for a full size sedan? Who does that to a customer?! What if the different location said no I would be stuck?! He did tell me a can have a Nissan Sentra but only at $5 cheaper. After going back and forth I took a Hyundai Tucson and he said people want to upgrade for free but dont want to downgrade! How rude!Fast forward 7 days later, when I came to return the car I saw Rafael and I knew I would have problems again with him. I took the car went to the beach a few times with my kids and when I came back he advised me that the car was excessively dirty so I took pictures of the vehicle before returning. Rafael, told me if they spend more than five minutes in the interior of the car it is their policy to charge excessive cleaning fee here are the pictures let me know what you think I will never run from this Avis again and he also said he would Black list me from Avis. Is this how a company is allowed to treat customers now?!

My kids and I stopped in one morning on my way to a conference, we were in a hurry and had a tire that was going bad. We were offered a replacement car right away and the owner had us in and out within 20 minutes or so. I really thought the trade out of cars would have been more stressful but this guy made a tough morning a better day for family and I. I am grateful and I would definitely recommend this Avis location to anyone, itβs convenient, fast and these guys care about you! Thanks again! Your kindness was most appreciated!
Ive been using this Avis office for over 20 years on my once, or twice a year trips to Calif. The great Avis people always remember me. The car is always ready, (and in great shape). The pick-and drop-off processes are always friendly and completely professional. Twenty (yes, 20) years of solid service is a very consistent record. I highly recommend them.
Return my rental my chase debit card was being replacement Rafael said ge was going to f..k up my life I ask him why? he continued to use volger and continue with his threats I ask him 3 times how can I pay cash,money order,check again I said is there anything else I need to do make it right again he continued with threats at the end he never ever gave me my final recipient walk out with nothing only wondering if he going to come to my house and do something RAFAEL IS HIS NAME I WOULD SAY please stay away from this avis office on Arroyo parkway
Didnt have car I reserved and tried to charge me an extra $250.Reserved a car 11 am the day before pick up, but when I went to pick it up he said they didnt have any and said first they got lots of orders after he left for the day the day before, then that you need to reserve 3 days in advance to make sure they have the car. They gave us another car smaller than what we reserved and said it would take 15 min to clean, which took him over an hour while he complained about it. When I went to return it after a week road trip which got a little dirt and a little sand in the car they tried to charge me $250 to clean it because it was excessively dirty and said management allowed them to charge the fee though I learned later that he was the owner. I took it home and wiped it down and vacuumed it which took less than 15 min and should be what they do anyway, and it was perfectly clean. Do not go here!
As of 09/22/2017 I will be taking over the management at this store. I will make it my goal to make sure you are 100% satisfied with our service. Customer service and vale is what I stand for. So stop by or call and ask for Andrew

Had a car reserved and a few minutes before pickup they called and said none available. A flat out lie and just a way to get to leave before closing time. Super unprofessional and disappointing
