Mike is a great barber. I don’t like the look of my hair when it has been buzzed. It’s nearly impossible to find barbers who can use a pair of scissors to cut a man’s whole head but Mike is such a barber. Mike is a real professional. I get a high end haircut for a budget chain price. I showed him a picture and he made it look exactly the same and after 3 years I just ask for “the usual” and he can give me the same haircut every time I go without the picture. I started bringing my 6 year old son now that he’s older. My neighbors all go to him too. Never a wait if you call ahead. If you live in the area and havn’t tried him you are missing out.

Mike Cuts your hair exactly how you tell him to. Youre in youre out theres never a wait. I think he charges too little so I always give him a $10 tip. Go try him out before I spoil him him. You wont be disappointed.

Best barbershop in Pasadena

My husband and I came here because we were looking for a new barber since my sister was unavailable to cut his hair ( she is a professional cosmetologist). So we looked on google and found that this place had good ratings... so we went to go give it a try. An older gentleman was there in the barber shop and no one else. I got pretty excited because its been awhile since my husband had a haircut and I wanted to see him all groomed nicely as did he. We werent greeted in a friendly manner. He seemed bothered when we came in while he was on his cellphone. The gentleman there was EXTREMELY awkward and wasnt too friendly. Whenever I go to a barber shop with my husband. We are used to the atmosphere that comes along with barbershops.. Friendly greeting, social atmosphere. This was none of that. When I asked to sit in a barber chair next to my husband that was empty (note that there was no one else in the shop other than me, my husband, and the barber) so I could talk to him a bit closer since I have bad vision as well. I didnt bring my glasses so I wanted to stay close so I could see my husbands haircut (since he always asks me to make sure its going well). The man had said no due to the chair being uncomfortable. Which me and my husband looked at each other like what??since they are salon chairs and they are meant to be comfortable for cutting hair. I guess he didnt want me to sit there and made some stupid excuse so I wouldnt. I was like okkkkk? It was the most uncomfortable awkward experience my husband has ever had in a barber shop. I was in shock because I thought to myself.. how can a place like this have such good ratings??!! I have never had anyone in a barber shop or salon deny me a seat next to my husband if there are no other clients. During my husbands haircut... the barber did not talk AT ALL. He was quiet the whole TIME AND DID NOT SOCIALIZE AT ALL WITH MY HUSBAND, not even to ask questions about his preference of haircut or if he was doing the right thing.. nothing.. Did not even say one word during the whole haircut. My husband told the barber that he usually goes with the barbers choice of haircut that suits him well. Hes the type of guy that will entrust a barber to make the right decision when it come to haircuts. We shortly regretted coming to this barbershop. He left so much hair on my husband.. I had never seen anyone leave so much hair on a person after a haircut. My husband wasnt pleased very much with the haircut. It was very basic and still alot of hair left on him. He did not leave clean cuts and the front was left very uneven. I couldnt see until we got to the car since I had to sit a bit far from him during the duration of the haircut. My husband had even mentioned to me that it was the MOST awkward haircut hes ever had. Honestly, the customer service sucked here for us. Maybe it was different for someone else.. I dont know. But we are never coming back here again. Needs to work on customer service and making the customer feel comfortable vs. Being socially awkward and uncomfortable. Also, giving decent haircuts. My husband and I are very observant/particular when it comes to customer service/communication of employees, since I worked in customer service for a long time. This place... needs alot of work when it comes to that.
