Wow talk about a makeover! Let me just start by saying getting a cut from Ara was one of my best decisions about my hair yet! He did such a good job and helped me pick out a haircut that would fit my face. I have very thick straight hair, and on one side it grows forwards. He told me if I kept more length in my hair it would look more natural. He did such a good job and his eye for detail is so good! Ara can also keep a conversation so he makes the trip to the salon a lot better! Definitely would recommend coming to him if you are looking for a nice, clean, and detailed cut! The guy that cut my hair was Armenian (I can’t recall his name so I am referring to his nationality), he was incredible! Incredibly humorous as well as completely professional. He took me as a (call) walk-in and gave me an incredible haircut. The experience was worth the price and so was my haircut.

I have been searching for someone who can create a unique and consistent style after bouncing around to different barbers over the past two years. Ara is proactive about explaining what he thinks is the best length and style. I’ve have had two cuts and my hair style is finely on track. Not the cheapest cut I have had but the added value is there for efficiency, never a wait if you have an appointment, clean private studio and validated parking.

Ara is a skilled craftsmen, a character, and and earnest business man. I called in to book and was unaware of the 30% discount for new customers, so I missed out on that, but I suppose it was worth it. Also be prepared to let yourself be unsold with waxing of ears and nose. But it definitely was a treat of a treatment. Also this is the best hairstyle I’ve ever worn, so if you have the luxury to afford yourself the experience, I’d recommend it.Also Armenia for the win!

I have been haircut averse for so over a decade. By that, I mean that I wasn’t willing to pay for a haircut. Being a guy, I think you can save money by cutting your own hair. However, I decided one day to just try out a proper haircut again after so long and happened to find Ara on yelp. Frankly, I haven’t been this satisfied with a haircut since I paid a huge amount in Venice when I used to live there. He’s a machine and he’s got it down to a science and has good taste on how to achieve a simple clean looking haircut. I highly recommend him and he’s usually able to accommodate me pretty last minute. I’d definitely recommend him.

Ive been going to Ara for my custom tailored haircut for almost ten years now, and my most recent visit (after the lifting of government restrictions and the reopening of hair salons) was as impressive as ever. Not only was he wearing gloves and a face mask, he sanitized his hands, combs, scissors and other tools prior to starting. From there, his usual excellence was on display in methodically cutting my hair.
