I was curios about the name as I just moved to town recently, I was expecting to visit a few different locations to find a barber that fits my style. After the cut I got today i guess my search is over before it began.Alex is pleasant and very passionate, never have I got a hair cut where such detail is applied to every hair follicle.Give him a visit, youll understand why the cost is worth the cut.

Cut Chemist!Ive gone through 4 or 5 barbers until I found my guy. Pride in ownership, professional interaction, interesting conversation, good music. He takes his time and you dont feel rushed. Very sensitive to covid protocols. Guy just gets it. Haircut crisp and he asks if were heading in the right direction along the way. Love this guy. Booked out a week or two on the weekend at least. Cant just drop in and expect to get served. Theres a reason his schedule is packed.

Im a Pasadena native, but I just moved back here after a few years away, so I needed to find a new barber. Id driven by Alexxs shop on Washington Blvd. a few times, and it looked like he had a pretty cool set up, so I gave him a call to ask for an appointment. Even though he was totally booked for the day (a good sign), he extended his day a bit to make time for a new customer like me (another good sign).Right after we set up the appointment, he texted me the shops address and a photo of the storefront, just to make sure I could find the place easily. Rarely have I seen someone give that level of attention to the customers experience—and it made me feel like he would be giving that same level of care and attention to the cut itself.Thats exactly what happened: this was one of the best haircuts Ive ever had! Its now been two weeks since, and Im still really happy with how it looks. And theres no question Ill be going back for my second cut real soon.Alexx was a great conversationalist, and a very nice guy in general - and he made sure I left his shop with exactly the hair cut I wanted. Alexx is a true artist. He has been cutting my sons hair for a year now, and it looks great each time. His attention to detail is amazing, and we are always so pleased with the final cut. I live nearby and would walk my dogs at night by Alexs shop. I walked by 4 or 5 times before i took a picture of the logo and looked his profile up on instagram (stalker mode). Im all about barber loyalty so going to a new barber has always been scary or intimidating. However, my barber I was with for 6 + years has gotten so busy that he is out of town a lot. I had a birthday dinner coming up and needed a fresh cut. So I messaged Alex and he made room for me to come in. I was extremely impressed with his customer service and his client engagement. I felt comfortable, I felt like I could trust him. And so now I have a solid barber near me who is willing to make time for new clients. BTW, The fade and haircut was wonderful. 10 out of 10.
