They were great! Was concerned about my steering and breaks. They checked them out and everything was fine and didnt charge me or try to sell me anything i didnt need. Very honest and friendly! I would definitely recommend them.

Been bringing my little old Civic here since 2018 when the clutch died. They do great work at a very fair price and are always transparent about costs before they start any work.

These people are honest and do great work. You can TRUST they will do a great job and only ask a FAIR price for parts and labor. No sneaky business. Ive gone to them several times now and will continue to do so because the experience has always been positive!

Went here for a brake inspection because my brakes had been squealing. Mike let me know the brakes were fine and the cause of the sound was brake dust, which he blew off with compressed air. He pointed out that my tires were in need of replacement (tires were going to be my next maintenance anyway after addressing the brakes, so this worked out great). He found me a nice set of Pirelli tires that had a promotional discount. I’m very happy with my experience at Gabriel’s Auto service. No more squeaky brakes and the new tires ride great!

Had a terrible experience here back in Februrary/March, spent 2k here, as they kept saying more was wrong and I just wanted to drive safely. When they did my suspension, I kept hearing a rattle noise that didnt sound right. So I brought it back twice, he drove it (which was easy to hear right away!) told me it was fine and that I was crazy. That noise was very unnerving. Went to a different shop and they agreed it didnt sound right when they test drove it and then figured out he put the suspension on loose and fixed the rattle same day!! Gabriels doesnt have the best prices to begin with and I trust Als auto shop way more than these guys for any job I need done now. My advice? Look for other shops.!

This auto repair shop has an excellent service and high quality workmanship . The staff repaired my damaged cars front bumper, hood and lights. They were able to restore my car to its original condition like brand new car. I would highly recommend this shop for any auto repair service.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!I would give this shop NO stars if that was possible. The service is absolutely horrible. I was treated with no respect what so ever and even yelled at! Furthermore, this shop is more expensive than any other places in there area. Trust me, save yourself some grief and money and call other shops for your auto repair needs.FYI - I ended up going to High Quality Mobile Inc located at 2435 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107 and they are the best shop Ive ever taken my car to! Theyre not far from this shop and will take much better care of you!Have a fantastic day! :)

GREAT experience!!! I have two toddlers and the employees were so helpful, polite, and quick. We sat and waited for the car in a nice clean and quiet waiting room. The car was done so quickly we were in and out of there in no time. WIthout a doubt the BEST mechanic shop Ive been to. Had my car towed to Gabriels because I put regular gas in my diesel tank! Mike was able to drain the tank, filled full of diesel and I was able to drive 200 miles home without an incident. The shop is immaculate, they are a AAA approved station and Im happy. Thanks Mike!

I was driving home and my car slowed down and made a loud noise, I called Gabriels, which I found thru Triple AAA I explained to him what the car was doing and right away told me it was the air conditioner compressor, he told me to drive it there and not to turn on the AC, I got there and once he took a look at it he was sure of it, so I left my car on a Saturday and got it back on Monday, also he did mention that 3 belts and the radiator needed to be replaced due to crack on radiator I knew he was being honest, because I knew the belts and radiator needed to be replaced for a while now, I would go there again if I need to.Thank you

These guys are great.  I first went to Gabriel’s Automotive over 10 years ago on a friend’s recommendation when my fuel pump died and the dealer was further than Triple-A would tow for free.  I’ve been back pretty much every time I’ve needed my car fixed since (stuff happens with a vehicle that is now pushing 20), from adjusting belts to a full transmission replacement.  And they’ve been helpful and efficient every time with prices that put the dealerships to shame.  Talk to Mike.  Check them out.

I am extremely thankful for Gabriels Automotive. I was on the 210, noticed a flat tire and dropped by their shop. They put on my spare for free. They refused to take any money for their service. I was very impressed by their courteousness and thoughtfulness, and would certainly go back to them if my car needed repairs.

Came in for a smog check and team was very helpful not only getting me what I needed for my license tab renewal they also took extra time to make sure my car was running properly.

The guy (probably Mikes son) was very rude. I am not sure why but he had a very condescending attitude. He needs to work on his customer skills.

I dont know anything about cars so you know how hard it is to find a mechanic.Ive been lucky to find this place, they help me every time that I go to them with a problem, they have been reliable and their works are of quality and fast.

Their competency just might lead to repeat business. This is my first time working with Gabriels Automotive. Excellent courtesy, communication skills and I am happy with the results of the tire replacement, alignment and balancing on my picky, touchy, OLD 280zx 2+2T. This is the THIRD shop I have tried to get this work done. They got it spot on! they also made good sound recommendations, and I know they are correct. So, I am extremely concerned about people coming to this establishment with trusting these individuals with their cars. Gabriels Automotive quoted me a price over the phone. They explained that it would cost me a certain amount for parts and labor. So, I said ok can you please work on my car for me. Because it was a Saturday they told me that the car would be in the shop till Monday. Monday morning I came to the shop, and they did not have good customer service. At the shop they wanted to charge me more than what they quoted me on the phone. After much discussion of how that was not the price he had said on the phone, he said that he would go ahead and charge me for the price he gave me over the phone. He then explained that there was a dent where my transmission was under my car, but he said its fine because it won’t cause any issues, it’s just a dent..... And he said its SAFE and sent me on my way! Immediately afterwards my best friend who came with me said, that was shady I feel like you should get a second opinion on your car. I almost feel like they might not have done the job right... So, we took it to her mechanic immediately after getting my car FIXED who her family trust, and he told me that I had a major Transmission Leak and if I had continued to drive my car I would have blown the transmission and need to buy a new car entirely. Hes currently working on my car right. Im so angry that Gabriels Automotive would have cost me my car becuse if i had listened to them and drove my car around the transmission would have blown and I would have had to buy a new car!!! They need to be taken off the certified list for AAA ASAP! I wish I could put 0 stars.....

They are quick, accurate and kind. The skill of the mechanic is excellent, and Wi-Fi is also available. I strongly recommend this place at around Pasadena.

I called the night before and was quoted 1 price by Eddie. Brought my car in the next and spoke with Mike who quoted me a different price. My car was NEVER put up on the rack. He told me the price to do the work. I gave the approval. When I went to pick my car up, the price and was magically $30 dollars more with no believable explanation. I asked for an oil change as well, he (Mike or Eddie, who knows) gave me some bs excuse why other cars that arrived after me were in the garage. And I could bring my car back another day for the oil change...bring my car back another day?!!Thats okay. Ill spread the word and Gabriels Automotive got a one time customer.

Theyve been easy to work with, attentive, and trustworthy. Hes done some small things like check brakes, fluids for no charge in my Toyota Dolphin RV -- not something they normally work on.
